Ayah 1
الٓمٓ Alif Lam Meem.
English - Alif, Lam, Meem. .
हिंदी - अलिफ़ लाम मीम।.
Ayah 2
تِلْكَ These ءَايَٰتُ (are) Verses ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book ٱلْحَكِيمِ the Wise,
English - These are verses of the wise Book, .
हिंदी - यह हिकमत से भरी हुई किताब की आयतें हैं।.
Ayah 3
هُدًى A guidance وَرَحْمَةً and a mercy لِّلْمُحْسِنِينَ for the good-doers,
English - As guidance and mercy for the doers of good .
हिंदी - हिदायत और रहमत है भलाई करने वालों के लिए।.
Ayah 4
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يُقِيمُونَ establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَيُؤْتُونَ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَهُم and they, بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, هُمْ [they] يُوقِنُونَ believe firmly.
English - Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith]. .
हिंदी - जो नमाज़्ा क़ायम करते हैं और ज़्ाकात (दान) देते हैं और आख़िरत पर वह यक़ीन रखते हैं।.
Ayah 5
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those عَلَىٰ (are) on هُدًى guidance مِّن from رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those هُمُ [they] ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ (are) the successful.
English - Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. .
हिंदी - वह अपने रब की तरफ़ से हिदायत पर हैं और वह ही हैं कामयाब लोग।.
Ayah 6
وَمِنَ And of ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind مَن (is he) who يَشْتَرِى purchases, لَهْوَ idle tales ٱلْحَدِيثِ idle tales لِيُضِلَّ to mislead عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) path ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah بِغَيْرِ without عِلْمٍ knowledge, وَيَتَّخِذَهَا and takes it هُزُوًا (in) ridicule. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment مُّهِينٌ humiliating.
English - And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. .
हिंदी - और लोगों में से ऐसा भी है जो खेल तमाशे वाली बात खरीदता है, ताकि वह बिना किसी इल्म के, अल्लाह के रास्ते से भटका दे और उसका मज़ाक बनाए, यही लोग हैं जिनके लिए एक ज़्ालील करने वाला अज़्ााब है।.
Ayah 7
وَإِذَا And when تُتْلَىٰ are recited عَلَيْهِ to him ءَايَٰتُنَا Our Verses, وَلَّىٰ he turns away مُسْتَكْبِرًا arrogantly كَأَن as if لَّمْ not يَسْمَعْهَا he (had) heard them, كَأَنَّ as if فِىٓ in أُذُنَيْهِ his ears وَقْرًا (is) deafness. فَبَشِّرْهُ So give him tidings بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment أَلِيمٍ painful.
English - And when our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - और जब उस पर हमारी आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं, तो वह अकड़ कर मुंह फेर लेता है, जैसे कि उसने उन्हें सुना ही नहीं, मानो उसके दोनों कानों में बहरापन है, तो उसे एक दर्दनाक अज़्ााब की ख़ुशख़बरी दे दो।.
Ayah 8
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds, لَهُمْ for them جَنَّٰتُ (are) Gardens ٱلنَّعِيمِ (of) Delight,
English - Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds – for them are the Gardens of Pleasure. .
हिंदी - बेशक जो लोग ईमान लाए और नेक काम करते रहे, उनके लिए नेमत के बाग़ हैं।.
Ayah 9
خَٰلِدِينَ (To) abide forever فِيهَا in it. وَعْدَ (The) Promise of Allah ٱللَّهِ (The) Promise of Allah حَقًّا (is) true. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - उनमें हमेशा रहने वाले हैं, अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और वह बहुत ज़्ाबरदस्त और बड़ा सूझ बूझ वाला है।.
Ayah 10
خَلَقَ He created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens بِغَيْرِ without عَمَدٍ pillars تَرَوْنَهَا that you see وَأَلْقَىٰ and has cast فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth رَوَٰسِىَ firm mountains أَن lest تَمِيدَ it (might) shake بِكُمْ with you, وَبَثَّ and He dispersed فِيهَا in it مِن from كُلِّ every دَآبَّةٍ creature. وَأَنزَلْنَا And We sent down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water فَأَنۢبَتْنَا then We caused to grow فِيهَا therein مِن of كُلِّ every زَوْجٍ kind كَرِيمٍ noble.
English - He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. .
हिंदी - उसने आसमानों को बिना किसी खंबे के पैदा किया जिन्हें तुम देखते हो और रख दिए ज़मीन में पहाड़ कि वह तुम्हें लेकर लुढ़क (ना) जाए और फैला दिए उस में हर (तरह) के जानवर और हम ने आसमान से पानी उतारा फिर हम ने उस में हर (तरह) के बेहतरीन जोडे़ उगाए।.
Ayah 11
هَٰذَا This خَلْقُ (is the) creation ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. فَأَرُونِى So show Me مَاذَا what خَلَقَ have created ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن besides Him. دُونِهِۦ besides Him. بَلِ Nay, ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ the wrongdoers فِى (are) in ضَلَٰلٍ error مُّبِينٍ clear.
English - This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error. .
हिंदी - यह अल्लाह का बनाया हुआ है तो दिखाओ मुझे कि जो उसके सिवा हैं, उन लोगों ने क्या पैदा किया? बल्कि जु़ल्म करने वाले खुली गुमराही में हैं।.
Ayah 12
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ءَاتَيْنَا We gave لُقْمَٰنَ Luqman ٱلْحِكْمَةَ the wisdom أَنِ that, ٱشْكُرْ "Be grateful لِلَّهِ to Allah." وَمَن And whoever يَشْكُرْ (is) grateful فَإِنَّمَا then only يَشْكُرُ he is grateful لِنَفْسِهِۦ for himself. وَمَن And whoever كَفَرَ (is) ungrateful, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَنِىٌّ (is) Free of need, حَمِيدٌ Praiseworthy.
English - And We had certainly given Luqman wisdom [and said], "Be grateful to Allah." And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] – then indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने लुक़मान को सूझ बूझ अता की, कि तुम अल्लाह का शुक्र अदा करो और जो शुक्र करता है तो वह बस अपने ही नफ़्स के लिए शुक्र करता है और जिस ने नाशुक्री तो बेशक अल्लाह बहुत बेपरवाह है, ख़ूब तारीफ़ों वाला है।.
Ayah 13
وَإِذْ And when قَالَ said لُقْمَٰنُ Luqman لِٱبْنِهِۦ to his son وَهُوَ while he يَعِظُهُۥ (was) instructing him, يَٰبُنَىَّ "O my son! لَا (Do) not تُشْرِكْ associate partners بِٱللَّهِ with Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلشِّرْكَ associating partners لَظُلْمٌ (is) surely an injustice عَظِيمٌ great."
English - And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him, "O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah. Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice." .
हिंदी - और जब लुक़मान ने अपने बेटे से कहा, जबकि वह उसे समझा रहा था कि ऐ मेरे बेटे तुम अल्लाह के साथ साझी मत ठहराना, बेशक शिर्क एक बहुत बड़ा ज़्ाुल्म है।.
Ayah 14
وَوَصَّيْنَا And We have enjoined ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ (upon) man بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ for his parents - حَمَلَتْهُ carried him أُمُّهُۥ his mother وَهْنًا (in) weakness عَلَىٰ upon وَهْنٍ weakness, وَفِصَٰلُهُۥ and his weaning فِى (is) in عَامَيْنِ two years أَنِ that ٱشْكُرْ "Be grateful لِى to Me وَلِوَٰلِدَيْكَ and to your parents; إِلَىَّ towards Me ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination.
English - And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination. .
हिंदी - और हमने इंसान को उसके माँ बाप की वसीयत की, उसकी माँ ने उसे पेट मंे उठाया दुख पर दुख झेलकर और उसका दूध छुड़ाना दो सालों में है कि तुम मेरा और अपने माँ बाप का एहसान मानो, मेरी ही तरफ़ वापसी है।.
Ayah 15
وَإِن But if جَٰهَدَاكَ they strive against you عَلَىٰٓ on أَن that تُشْرِكَ you associate partners بِى with Me مَا what لَيْسَ not لَكَ you have بِهِۦ of it عِلْمٌ any knowledge, فَلَا then (do) not تُطِعْهُمَا obey both of them. وَصَاحِبْهُمَا But accompany them فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world مَعْرُوفًا (with) kindness, وَٱتَّبِعْ and follow سَبِيلَ (the) path مَنْ (of him) who أَنَابَ turns إِلَىَّ to Me. ثُمَّ Then إِلَىَّ towards Me مَرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return, فَأُنَبِّئُكُم then I will inform you بِمَا of what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do. .
हिंदी - और अगर वह दोनों तुम पर दबाव डालेें कि तुम मेरा साझी उसे ठहराओ जिसका कि तुम्हें कोई इल्म नहीं है, तो तुम उनका कहना मत मानो और उन दोनों के साथ दुनिया में भलाई के साथ रहो और जो मेरी तरफ़ लौटा उसके रास्ते चलो, फिर मेरी ही तरफ़ तुम्हारा पलटना है, तो मैं तुम्हें बताऊँगा जो तुम किया करते थे।.
Ayah 16
يَٰبُنَىَّ "O my son! إِنَّهَآ Indeed it, إِن if تَكُ it be مِثْقَالَ (the) weight حَبَّةٍ (of) a grain مِّنْ of خَرْدَلٍ a mustard seed, فَتَكُن and it be فِى in صَخْرَةٍ a rock أَوْ or فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens أَوْ or فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth يَأْتِ Allah will bring it forth. بِهَا Allah will bring it forth. ٱللَّهُ Allah will bring it forth. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَطِيفٌ (is) All-Subtle, خَبِيرٌ All-Aware.
English - [And Luqman said], "O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted. .
हिंदी - ऐ मेरे बेटे, बेशक अगर वह (कर्म) हो, राई के एक दाने के वज़्ान बराबर, फिर वह हो किसी पत्थर में या आसमानों में या ज़्ामीन में, अल्लाह उसे ले आएगा, बेशक अल्लाह महीन बातों को जानने वाला, ख़ूब ख़बरदार है।.
Ayah 17
يَٰبُنَىَّ O my son! أَقِمِ Establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَأْمُرْ and enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ [with] the right وَٱنْهَ and forbid عَنِ from ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong, وَٱصْبِرْ and be patient عَلَىٰ over مَآ what أَصَابَكَ befalls you. إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that مِنْ (is) of عَزْمِ the matters requiring determination. ٱلْأُمُورِ the matters requiring determination.
English - O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination. .
हिंदी - ऐ मेरे बेटे, नमाज़्ा क़ायम करो और भलाई का हुक्म दो और मना करो बुराई से और सब्र करो उस पर जो तुम पर पड़े, बेशक यह हिम्मत के काम हैं।.
Ayah 18
وَلَا And (do) not تُصَعِّرْ turn خَدَّكَ your cheek لِلنَّاسِ from men وَلَا and (do) not تَمْشِ walk فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مَرَحًا exultantly. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ like كُلَّ every مُخْتَالٍ self-conceited فَخُورٍ boaster.
English - And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful. .
हिंदी - और तुम अपना गाल लोगों से मत मोड़ो और ना तुम ज़्ामीन में अकड़ कर चलो, बेशक अल्लाह पसंद नहीं करता हर इतराने वाले, ख़ूब गर्व करने वाले को।.
Ayah 19
وَٱقْصِدْ And be moderate فِى in مَشْيِكَ your pace وَٱغْضُضْ and lower مِن [of] صَوْتِكَ your voice. إِنَّ Indeed, أَنكَرَ (the) harshest ٱلْأَصْوَٰتِ (of all) sounds لَصَوْتُ (is) surely (the) voice ٱلْحَمِيرِ (of) the donkeys."
English - And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys." .
हिंदी - और संतुलन रखो अपनी चाल में, और अपनी आवाज़्ा धीमी रखो, बेशक सबसे बुरी आवाज़्ा, गधे की आवाज़्ा है।.
Ayah 20
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَوْا۟ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah سَخَّرَ has subjected لَكُم to you مَّا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَأَسْبَغَ and amply bestowed عَلَيْكُمْ upon you نِعَمَهُۥ His Bounties ظَٰهِرَةً apparent وَبَاطِنَةً and hidden? وَمِنَ But of ٱلنَّاسِ the people مَن (is he) who يُجَٰدِلُ disputes فِى about ٱللَّهِ Allah بِغَيْرِ without عِلْمٍ knowledge, وَلَا and not هُدًى guidance وَلَا and not كِتَٰبٍ a book مُّنِيرٍ enlightening.
English - Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him]. .
हिंदी - क्या तुम ने नहीं देखा, बेशक अल्लाह ने तम्हारे लिए उसे काम पर लगा दिया जो आसमानों में है और जो ज़्ामीन में है और तुम पर अपनी नेमतों की बारिश की खुले छुपे तौर पर। और लोगों में से है जो अल्लाह के सिलसिले में बिना किसी इल्म के झगड़ता है और ना हिदायत है और ना कोई रौश्न किताब।.
Ayah 21
وَإِذَا And when قِيلَ it is said لَهُمُ to them, ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ "Follow مَآ what أَنزَلَ Allah (has) revealed," ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) revealed," قَالُوا۟ they say, بَلْ "Nay, نَتَّبِعُ we will follow مَا what وَجَدْنَا we found عَلَيْهِ on it ءَابَآءَنَآ our forefathers." أَوَلَوْ Even if كَانَ Shaitaan was ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ Shaitaan was يَدْعُوهُمْ (to) call them إِلَىٰ to عَذَابِ (the) punishment ٱلسَّعِيرِ (of) the Blaze!
English - And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze? .
हिंदी - और जब उन से कहा जाता है कि जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है उस पर चलो, वह कहते हैं, बल्कि हम उस पर चलते हैं जिस पर हमने अपने बाप दादा को पाया, क्या अगर शैतान उन्हें बुलाता रहा हो जहन्नम के अज़्ााब की तरफ़ (फिर भी)?.
Ayah 22
وَمَن And whoever يُسْلِمْ submits وَجْهَهُۥٓ his face إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah وَهُوَ while he مُحْسِنٌ (is) a good-doer, فَقَدِ then indeed, ٱسْتَمْسَكَ he has grasped بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ the handhold ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ the most trustworthy. وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah عَٰقِبَةُ (is the) end ٱلْأُمُورِ (of) the matters.
English - And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good – then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters. .
हिंदी - और जो अपना चेहरा अल्लाह की तरफ़ झुका दे और वह अच्छाई करने वाला है तो यक़ीनन उसने मज़्ाबूत कड़े को थाम लिया और अल्लाह ही की तरफ़ मामलों का अंजाम है।.
Ayah 23
وَمَن And whoever كَفَرَ disbelieves, فَلَا let not يَحْزُنكَ grieve you كُفْرُهُۥٓ his disbelief. إِلَيْنَا To Us مَرْجِعُهُمْ (is) their return, فَنُنَبِّئُهُم then We will inform them بِمَا of what عَمِلُوٓا۟ they did. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) the All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what ٱلصُّدُورِ (is in) the breasts.
English - And whoever has disbelieved – let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - और जिसने इंकार किया तो उसका इंकार तुम्हें ग़म में ना डाले, हमारी ही तरफ़ उनका लौटना है फिर हम उन्हें बताएंगे उसके बारे में जो उन्होंने किया, बेशक अल्लाह सीनों के राज़्ा को ख़ूब जानने वााला है।.
Ayah 24
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ We grant them enjoyment قَلِيلًا (for) a little, ثُمَّ then نَضْطَرُّهُمْ We will force them إِلَىٰ to عَذَابٍ a punishment غَلِيظٍ severe.
English - We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment. .
हिंदी - हम उन्हें फ़ायदा देंगे बहुत थोड़ा, फिर हम उन्हें एक सख़्त अज़्ााब की तरफ़ मजबूर कर देंगे।.
Ayah 25
وَلَئِن And if سَأَلْتَهُم you ask them, مَّنْ "Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth?" لَيَقُولُنَّ They will surely say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah." قُلِ Say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praises لِلَّهِ (are) for Allah." بَلْ But أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah"; but most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम उनसे पूछो कि आसमानों और ज़्ामीन को किसने पैदा किया? वह ज़्ारूर कहेंगे कि अल्लाह। कह दो सारी तारीफ़ अल्लाह के लिए है, बल्कि उनमें से अक्सर लोग नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 26
لِلَّهِ To Allah (belongs) مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need, ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy.
English - To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ही के लिए है जो आसमानों और ज़्ामीन में है, बेशक अल्लाह, वह बेपरवाह (बेनियाज़्ा), ख़ूब तारीफ़ों वाला है।.
Ayah 27
وَلَوْ And if أَنَّمَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مِن of شَجَرَةٍ (the) trees أَقْلَٰمٌ (were) pens وَٱلْبَحْرُ and the sea, يَمُدُّهُۥ (to) add to it مِنۢ after it بَعْدِهِۦ after it سَبْعَةُ seven أَبْحُرٍ seas, مَّا not نَفِدَتْ would be exhausted كَلِمَٰتُ (the) Words ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - And if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], replenished thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. .
हिंदी - और अगर यक़ीनन जो ज़्ामीन में पेड़ हैं (वह) क़लम हो जाएं और उसके बााद समंदर उसे फैला कर सात समंदर हो जाए, (फिर भी) अल्लाह की बातें ख़त्म ना हों, बेशक अल्लाह बहुत ज़्ाबरदस्त, ख़ूब सूझ बूझ वाला है।.
Ayah 28
مَّا Not خَلْقُكُمْ (is) your creation وَلَا and not بَعْثُكُمْ your resurrection إِلَّا but كَنَفْسٍ as a soul وَٰحِدَةٍ single. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَمِيعٌۢ (is) All-Hearer, بَصِيرٌ All-Seer.
English - Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing. .
हिंदी - तम्हें पैदा करना और तुम्हें दोबारा उठाना नहीं है मगर एक जान के समान, बेशक अल्लाह ख़ुब सुनने वाला, ख़ूब देखने वाला है।.
Ayah 29
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يُولِجُ causes to enter ٱلَّيْلَ the night فِى into ٱلنَّهَارِ the day, وَيُولِجُ and causes to enter ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى into ٱلَّيْلِ the night وَسَخَّرَ and has subjected ٱلشَّمْسَ the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon, كُلٌّ each يَجْرِىٓ moving إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do خَبِيرٌ (is) All-Aware.
English - Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted? .
हिंदी - क्या तुम ने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह रात को दिन में दाख़िल करता है और दिन को रात में दाख़िल करता है और उसने सूरज और चाँद काम पर लगा दिए, हर एक चल रहा है एक तय वक़्त की ओर, और बेशक अल्लाह उससे ख़ूब बाख़बर है जो तुम करते हो।.
Ayah 30
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّ (is) because ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the Truth, وَأَنَّ and that مَا what يَدْعُونَ they call مِن besides Him دُونِهِ besides Him ٱلْبَٰطِلُ (is) [the] falsehood, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High, ٱلْكَبِيرُ the Most Great.
English - That is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand. .
हिंदी - यह इस वजह से है कि अल्लाह, वह ही हक़ है और जिसे तुम पुकारते हो उसके सिवा, बेकार है और बेशक अल्लाह वह बड़ा ऊँचा, बहुत बड़ा है।.
Ayah 31
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱلْفُلْكَ the ships تَجْرِى sail فِى through ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea بِنِعْمَتِ by (the) Grace ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah لِيُرِيَكُم that He may show you مِّنْ of ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ His Signs? إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّكُلِّ for everyone صَبَّارٍ (who is) patient, شَكُورٍ grateful.
English - Do you not see that ships sail through the sea by the favor of Allah that He may show you of His signs? Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful. .
हिंदी - क्या तुम ने नहीं देखा कि नाव चलती है समंदर में अल्लाह के करम से ताकि वह तुम्हंे दिखाए अपनी निशानियाँ, बेशक इस में निशानियाँ हैं हर सब्र करने वाले, शुक्र करने वाले के लिए।.
Ayah 32
وَإِذَا And when غَشِيَهُم covers them مَّوْجٌ a wave كَٱلظُّلَلِ like canopies, دَعَوُا۟ they call ٱللَّهَ Allah, مُخْلِصِينَ (being) sincere لَهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ (in) religion. فَلَمَّا But when نَجَّىٰهُمْ He delivers them إِلَى to ٱلْبَرِّ the land فَمِنْهُم then among them مُّقْتَصِدٌ (some are) moderate. وَمَا And not يَجْحَدُ deny بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ Our Signs إِلَّا except كُلُّ every خَتَّارٍ traitor كَفُورٍ ungrateful.
English - And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful. .
हिंदी - और जब उन्हें सायों की तरह मौज ढांप लेती है तो वह अल्लाह को पुकारते हैं उसके लिए दीन को ख़ास करते हुए, फिर जब हम उन्हें बचा कर सूखे पर ले आते हैं तो उन में से कुछ बीच की राह चलते हैं और हमारी आयतों का इंकार नहीं करता मगर हर वादा तोड़ने वाला, बड़ा नाशुक्रा।.
Ayah 33
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear رَبَّكُمْ your Lord وَٱخْشَوْا۟ and fear يَوْمًا a Day لَّا not يَجْزِى can avail وَالِدٌ a father عَن [for] وَلَدِهِۦ his son وَلَا and not مَوْلُودٌ a son, هُوَ he جَازٍ (can) avail عَن [for] وَالِدِهِۦ his father شَيْـًٔا anything. إِنَّ Indeed, وَعْدَ (the) Promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah حَقٌّ (is) True, فَلَا so let not deceive you تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ so let not deceive you ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world وَلَا and let not deceive you يَغُرَّنَّكُم and let not deceive you بِٱللَّهِ about Allah ٱلْغَرُورُ the deceiver.
English - O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver. .
हिंदी - ऐ लोगो, बचो अपने रब से और डरो एक ऐसे दिन से (जिस दिन) ना कोई बाप अपने बच्चे के काम आएगा और ना कोई बच्चा ही कुछ काम आने वाला है अपने बाप के, बेशक अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है तो तुम्हें दुनियावी ज़िंदगी धोके में ना डाले और ना अल्लाह के सिलसिले में तुम्हें धोके में डाले, बड़ा धोकेबाज़्ा।.
Ayah 34
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, عِندَهُۥ with Him عِلْمُ (is the) knowledge ٱلسَّاعَةِ (of) the Hour وَيُنَزِّلُ and He sends down ٱلْغَيْثَ the rain, وَيَعْلَمُ and knows مَا what فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْحَامِ the wombs. وَمَا And not تَدْرِى knows نَفْسٌ any soul مَّاذَا what تَكْسِبُ it will earn غَدًا tomorrow, وَمَا and not تَدْرِى knows نَفْسٌۢ any soul بِأَىِّ in what أَرْضٍ land تَمُوتُ it will die. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower خَبِيرٌۢ All-Aware.
English - Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. .
हिंदी - बेशक अल्लाह के पास घड़ी (क़यामत) का इल्म है और वह बारिश बरसाता है और वह जानता है जो गर्भ में है और कोई नफ़्स नहीं जानता कि वह कल क्या कमाएगा और ना कोई नफ़्स जानता है कि वह किस ज़्ामीन में मरेगा, बेशक अल्लाह बहुत जानने वाला, ख़ूब ख़बरदार है।.
