الٓمٓ Alif Lam Meem.

हिंदी - अलिफ़ लाम मीम।.
Ayah 2
غُلِبَتِ Have been defeated ٱلرُّومُ the Romans
English - The Byzantines have been defeated .
हिंदी - रूम हार गए,.
Ayah 3
فِىٓ In أَدْنَى (the) nearest ٱلْأَرْضِ land. وَهُم But they, مِّنۢ after بَعْدِ after غَلَبِهِمْ their defeat, سَيَغْلِبُونَ will overcome
English - In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome. .
हिंदी - क़रीब की ज़्ामीन में, और वह अपनी हार के बाद जल्द ही जीतेंगे,.
Ayah 4
فِى Within بِضْعِ a few سِنِينَ years. لِلَّهِ For Allah ٱلْأَمْرُ (is) the command مِن before قَبْلُ before وَمِنۢ and after. بَعْدُ and after. وَيَوْمَئِذٍ And that day يَفْرَحُ will rejoice ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers
English - Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice .
हिंदी - कुछ सालों में, अल्लाह ही के लिए है मामला, पहले और बाद में और उस दिन ईमान वाले ख़ुश हो जाएंगे,.
Ayah 5
بِنَصْرِ With (the) help ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. يَنصُرُ He helps مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful.
English - In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह की मदद से, वह मदद करता है जिसकी चाहता है और वह बड़ा ज़्ाबरदस्त, बहुत रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 6
وَعْدَ (It is the) Promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. لَا (Does) not يُخْلِفُ fail ٱللَّهُ Allah وَعْدَهُۥ (in) His promise, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَ most (of) ٱلنَّاسِ [the] people لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - [It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह का वादा है, अल्लाह अपने वादे के ख़िलाफ़ नहीं करता, लेकिन अक्सर लोग नही जानते।.
Ayah 7
يَعْلَمُونَ They know ظَٰهِرًا (the) apparent مِّنَ of ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَهُمْ but they, عَنِ about ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter, هُمْ [they] غَٰفِلُونَ (are) heedless.
English - They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware. .
हिंदी - वह दुनया की जिंदगी के ज़ाहिर को जानते हैं और वह आख़िरत से बेपरवाह हैं।.
Ayah 8
أَوَلَمْ Do not يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ they ponder فِىٓ within أَنفُسِهِم themselves? مَّا Not خَلَقَ Allah (has) created ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth, وَمَا and what بَيْنَهُمَآ (is) between them إِلَّا except بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth وَأَجَلٍ and (for) a term مُّسَمًّى appointed. وَإِنَّ And indeed, كَثِيرًا many مِّنَ of ٱلنَّاسِ the people بِلِقَآئِ in (the) meeting رَبِّهِمْ (with) their Lord لَكَٰفِرُونَ surely (are) disbelievers.
English - Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers. .
हिंदी - क्या उन्होंने ख़ुद में ग़ौर नहीं किया? अल्लाह ने आसमानों और ज़्ामीन को पैदा नहीं किया और जो उन दोनों के बीच है मगर हक़ और एक तय वक़्त के साथ, और बेशक बहुत से लोग अपने रब की मुलाक़ात का इंकार करने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 9
أَوَلَمْ Have not يَسِيرُوا۟ they traveled فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and observed كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those مِن before them? قَبْلِهِمْ before them? كَانُوٓا۟ They were أَشَدَّ mightier مِنْهُمْ than them قُوَّةً (in) strength, وَأَثَارُوا۟ and they dug ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth وَعَمَرُوهَآ and built (on) it أَكْثَرَ more مِمَّا than what عَمَرُوهَا they have built (on) it. وَجَآءَتْهُمْ And came (to) them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs. فَمَا So not كَانَ was ٱللَّهُ Allah لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ to wrong them وَلَٰكِن but كَانُوٓا۟ they were أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves يَظْلِمُونَ (doing) wrong.
English - Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. .
हिंदी - क्या वह ज़मीन में चले फिरे नहीं तो वह देखते कि उनका कैसा अंजाम हुआ जो उनसे पहले थे, वह ताक़त में उन से ज़्यादा सख़्त थे और उन्होंने ज़मीन को जोता और और उसे उनके आबाद करने से ज़्यादा आबाद किया और उनके पास उनके रसूल दलीलों के साथ आए, तो अल्लाह नहीं था कि वह उन पर ज़्ाुल्म करता, लेकिन वह ख़ुद पर ज़्ाुल्म किया करते थे।.
Ayah 10
ثُمَّ Then كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةَ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who أَسَٰٓـُٔوا۟ did evil - ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ the evil, أَن because كَذَّبُوا۟ they denied بِـَٔايَٰتِ (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَكَانُوا۟ and were بِهَا of them يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ making mockery.
English - Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them. .
हिंदी - फिर जिन्होंने बुराई की, उनका बहुत बुरा अंजाम हुआ कि उन्होंने अल्लाह की निशानियों को झुठलाया और वह उनका मज़्ााक़ उड़ाया करते थे।.
Ayah 11
ٱللَّهُ Allah يَبْدَؤُا۟ originates ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation, ثُمَّ then يُعِيدُهُۥ He repeats it, ثُمَّ then إِلَيْهِ to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned.
English - Allah begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह पैदाइश की शुरुआत करता है, फिर उसे दोहराता है, फिर उसी की तरफ़ तुम लौटाए जाओगे।.
Ayah 12
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day تَقُومُ will (be) established ٱلسَّاعَةُ the Hour, يُبْلِسُ will (be in) despair ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals.
English - And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair. .
हिंदी - और जिस दिन क़यामत क़ायम होगी, मुजरिम ना उम्मीद हो जाएंगे।.
Ayah 13
وَلَمْ And not يَكُن will be لَّهُم for them مِّن among شُرَكَآئِهِمْ theirs partners شُفَعَٰٓؤُا۟ any intercessors وَكَانُوا۟ and they will be بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ in their partners كَٰفِرِينَ disbelievers.
English - And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners. .
हिंदी - और उनके लिए नहीं होंगे उनके साझियों में से, सिफ़ारिश करने वाले और वह अपने साझियों का इंकार करने वाले होंगे।.
Ayah 14
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day تَقُومُ will (be) established ٱلسَّاعَةُ the Hour, يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day يَتَفَرَّقُونَ they will become separated.
English - And the Day the Hour appears – that Day they will become separated. .
हिंदी - और जिस दिन क़यामत क़ायम होगी, उस दिन वह टुकड़ों में बट जाएंगे।.
Ayah 15
فَأَمَّا Then as for ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَعَمِلُوا۟ and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds, فَهُمْ so they فِى in رَوْضَةٍ a Garden يُحْبَرُونَ will be delighted.
English - And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted. .
हिंदी - फिर रहे वह जो ईमान लाए और नेक काम करते रहे तो वह एक बाग़ के अंदर ख़ुश कर दिए जाएंगे।.
Ayah 16
وَأَمَّا But as for ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَكَذَّبُوا۟ and denied بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا Our Signs وَلِقَآئِ and (the) meeting ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those فِى in ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment مُحْضَرُونَ (will be) brought forth.
English - But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain]. .
हिंदी - और रहे वह जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया और हमारी आयतों को और आख़िरत की मुलाक़ात को झुठलाया तो वह लोग अज़्ााब में लाए जाएंगे।.
Ayah 17
فَسُبْحَٰنَ So glory be to ٱللَّهِ Allah حِينَ when تُمْسُونَ you reach the evening وَحِينَ and when تُصْبِحُونَ you reach the morning.
English - So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning. .
हिंदी - तो अल्लाह की पाकी (बयान करो) जब तुम शाम करो और जब तुम सुबह करो।.
Ayah 18
وَلَهُ And for Him ٱلْحَمْدُ (are) all praises فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَعَشِيًّا and (at) night وَحِينَ and when تُظْهِرُونَ you are at noon.
English - And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon. .
हिंदी - और उसी के लिए है सारी तारीफ़ आसमानों और ज़मीन में और शाम में और जब तुम दोपहर करते हो।.
Ayah 19
يُخْرِجُ He brings forth ٱلْحَىَّ the living مِنَ from ٱلْمَيِّتِ the dead وَيُخْرِجُ and He brings forth ٱلْمَيِّتَ the dead مِنَ from ٱلْحَىِّ the living, وَيُحْىِ and He gives life ٱلْأَرْضَ (to) the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَا its death, وَكَذَٰلِكَ and thus تُخْرَجُونَ you will be brought forth.
English - He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out. .
हिंदी - वह ज़िंदे को निकालता है मुर्दे से और मुर्दे को निकालता है ज़िंदे से और वह ज़्ामीन को ज़िंदा करता है उसके बेजान हो जाने के बाद और इसी तरह तुम निकाले जाओगे।.
Ayah 20
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ His Signs أَنْ (is) that خَلَقَكُم He created you مِّن from تُرَابٍ dust ثُمَّ then إِذَآ behold! أَنتُم You بَشَرٌ (are) human beings تَنتَشِرُونَ dispersing.
English - And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth]. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से है कि उसने तुम्हें मिट्टी से पैदा किया फिर अचानक तुम इंसान हो कि तुम फैले जा रहे हो।.
Ayah 21
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ His Signs أَنْ (is) that خَلَقَ He created لَكُم for you مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves أَزْوَٰجًا mates لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟ that you may find tranquility إِلَيْهَا in them; وَجَعَلَ and He placed بَيْنَكُم between you مَّوَدَّةً love وَرَحْمَةً and mercy. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ who reflect.
English - And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से है कि उसने तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी जानों में से जोड़े बनाए ताकि तुम उन के पास सुकून पाओ और तुम्हारे बीच मुहब्बत और रहमत डाली, बेशक इस में कई निशानियाँ हैं उन लोगों के लिए जो ग़ौर करते हैं।.
Ayah 22
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs خَلْقُ (is the) creation ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, وَٱخْتِلَٰفُ and the diversity أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ (of) your languages وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ and your colors. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّلْعَٰلِمِينَ for those of knowledge.
English - And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से आसमानों और ज़मीन का पैदा करना है और तुम्हारी ज़बानो और रंगों का अलग अलग होना है, बेशक इस में निशानियाँ हैं जानने वालों के लिए।.
Ayah 23
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs مَنَامُكُم (is) your sleep بِٱلَّيْلِ by night وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day وَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُم [and] your seeking مِّن of فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَسْمَعُونَ who listen.
English - And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से, रात और दिन में तुम्हारा सोना है और तुम्हारा उसका फ़ज़्ल (रिज़्क़) तलाश करना है, बेशक इस में निशानियाँ हैं उन लोगों के लिए जो सुनते हैं।.
Ayah 24
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs يُرِيكُمُ He shows you ٱلْبَرْقَ the lightning خَوْفًا (causing) fear وَطَمَعًا and hope, وَيُنَزِّلُ and He sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water فَيُحْىِۦ and gives life بِهِ therewith ٱلْأَرْضَ (to) the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَآ its death. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْقِلُونَ who use intellect.
English - And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightening [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से है कि वह तुम्हें बिजली दिखाता है ख़ौफ़ के लिए और उम्मीद के लिए और वह आसमान से पानी उतारता है फिर वह उस से ज़्ामीन को उसके बेजान हो जाने के बाद जिंदा करता है, बेशक इस में निशानियाँ हैं उन लोगों के लिए जो अक़्ल रखते हैं।.
Ayah 25
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ His Signs أَن (is) that تَقُومَ stands ٱلسَّمَآءُ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضُ and the earth بِأَمْرِهِۦ by His Command. ثُمَّ Then إِذَا when دَعَاكُمْ He calls you دَعْوَةً (with) a call, مِّنَ from ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, إِذَآ behold! أَنتُمْ You تَخْرُجُونَ will come forth.
English - And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से है कि आसमान और ज़्ामीन उसके हुक्म से क़ायम हैं, फिर जब वह तुम्हें ज़्ामीन से एक पुकार लगायेगा, जभी तुम निकलने लगोगे।.
Ayah 26
وَلَهُۥ And to Him (belongs) مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. كُلٌّ All لَّهُۥ to Him قَٰنِتُونَ (are) obedient.
English - And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient. .
हिंदी - और उसके लिए है जो आसमानों और ज़मीन में है, सब उसकी बात मानने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 27
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يَبْدَؤُا۟ originates ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation ثُمَّ then يُعِيدُهُۥ repeats it, وَهُوَ and it أَهْوَنُ (is) easier عَلَيْهِ for Him. وَلَهُ And for Him ٱلْمَثَلُ (is) the description, ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ the highest فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - और वही है जो पैदाइश की शुरुआत करता है फिर उसे दोहराता है और वह उस पर ज़्यादा आसान है और उसी के लिए है ऊँची मिसाल आसमानों और ज़मीन में और वह बहुत ज़्ाबरदस्त, बड़ा सूझ बूझ वाला है।.
Ayah 28
ضَرَبَ He sets forth لَكُم to you مَّثَلًا an example مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves. هَل Is لَّكُم for you مِّن among مَّا what مَلَكَتْ possess أَيْمَٰنُكُم your right hands مِّن any شُرَكَآءَ partners فِى in مَا what رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ We have provided you فَأَنتُمْ so you فِيهِ in it سَوَآءٌ (are) equal, تَخَافُونَهُمْ you fear them كَخِيفَتِكُمْ as you fear أَنفُسَكُمْ yourselves? كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نُفَصِّلُ We explain ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Verses لِقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْقِلُونَ (who) use reason.
English - He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason. .
हिंदी - उसने तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी जानों में से एक मिसाल दी, क्या तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे ग़ुलामों में से कुछ शरीक हैं उसमें जो रिज़्क़ हम ने तुम्हें दिया तो तुम उसमें बराबर हो, तुम उनसे डरते हो जैसा कि अपनी जानों से डरते हो? इसी तरह हम खोल खोल कर बयान करते हैं आयतों को उनके लिए जो समझ रखते हैं।.
Ayah 29
بَلِ Nay, ٱتَّبَعَ follow ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوٓا۟ do wrong, أَهْوَآءَهُم their desires, بِغَيْرِ without عِلْمٍ knowledge. فَمَن Then who يَهْدِى (can) guide مَنْ (one) whom أَضَلَّ Allah has let go astray? ٱللَّهُ Allah has let go astray? وَمَا And not لَهُم for them مِّن any نَّٰصِرِينَ helpers.
English - But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers. .
हिंदी - बल्कि वह जिन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया, वह अपनी ख़्वाहिशों के पीछे चलते रहे बिना जाने, तो कौन उसे हिदायत देगा जिसे अल्लाह गुमराह कर दे और उनके लिए मदद करने वालों में से कोई नहीं।.
Ayah 30
فَأَقِمْ So set وَجْهَكَ your face لِلدِّينِ to the religion حَنِيفًا upright. فِطْرَتَ Nature ٱللَّهِ (made by) Allah ٱلَّتِى (upon) which فَطَرَ He has created ٱلنَّاسَ mankind عَلَيْهَا [on it]. لَا No تَبْدِيلَ change لِخَلْقِ (should there be) in the creation ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلدِّينُ (is) the religion ٱلْقَيِّمُ the correct, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَ most ٱلنَّاسِ men لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know. .
हिंदी - तो तुम अपना रुख़ दीन के लिए कर लो अलग होकर, अल्लाह की फ़ितरत है जिस पर उसने लोगों को पैदा किया, अल्लाह की पैदाइश में कोई बदलाव नहीं, यही सीधा दीन है, लेकिन, अक्सर लोग नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 31
مُنِيبِينَ Turning إِلَيْهِ to Him, وَٱتَّقُوهُ and fear Him وَأَقِيمُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَلَا and (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be مِنَ of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists
English - [Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with Allah .
हिंदी - उसकी तरफ़ लौटते हुए और उस से डरो और नमाज़्ा क़ायम करो और साझी ठहराने वालों में से मत बनो।.
Ayah 32
مِنَ Of ٱلَّذِينَ those who فَرَّقُوا۟ divide دِينَهُمْ their religion وَكَانُوا۟ and become شِيَعًا sects, كُلُّ each حِزْبٍۭ party بِمَا in what لَدَيْهِمْ they have فَرِحُونَ rejoicing.
English - [Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has. .
हिंदी - उन लोगों में से जिन्होंने अपने दीन को टकड़े टुकड़े किया और वह जमाअतो में हो गए, हर गिरोह ख़ुश है उस पर जो उसके पास है।.
Ayah 33
وَإِذَا And when مَسَّ touches ٱلنَّاسَ people ضُرٌّ hardship, دَعَوْا۟ they call رَبَّهُم their Lord مُّنِيبِينَ turning إِلَيْهِ to Him. ثُمَّ Then إِذَآ when أَذَاقَهُم He causes them to taste مِّنْهُ from Him رَحْمَةً Mercy إِذَا behold! فَرِيقٌ A party مِّنْهُم of them بِرَبِّهِمْ with their Lord يُشْرِكُونَ associate partners
English - And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord, .
हिंदी - और जब लोगों को कोई तकलीफ़ पहुंचती है तो वह अपने रब को उसकी तरफ़ ध्यान लगाकर पुकारते हैं, फिर जब वह उन्हें अपनी तरफ़ से रहमत का मज़्ाा चखाता है तो जभी उन में से एक गिरोह अपने रब के साथ साझी ठहराने लगता है।.
Ayah 34
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ So as to deny بِمَآ [in] what, ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ We have granted them. فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ Then enjoy, فَسَوْفَ but soon تَعْلَمُونَ you will know.
English - So that they will deny what We have granted them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. .
हिंदी - ताकि वह उसका इंकार करे जो हमने उन्हें अता किया, तो मज़्ाा कर लो फिर तुम जल्द जान लोगे।.
Ayah 35
أَمْ Or أَنزَلْنَا have We sent عَلَيْهِمْ to them سُلْطَٰنًا an authority فَهُوَ and it يَتَكَلَّمُ speaks بِمَا of what كَانُوا۟ they were بِهِۦ with Him يُشْرِكُونَ associating?
English - Or have We sent down to them an authority, and it speaks of what they were associating with Him? .
हिंदी - या हम ने उन पर कोई दलील उतारी तो वह बताती है उसके बारे में जिसे वह साझी ठहराते हैं?.
Ayah 36
وَإِذَآ And when أَذَقْنَا We cause people to taste ٱلنَّاسَ We cause people to taste رَحْمَةً mercy, فَرِحُوا۟ they rejoice بِهَا therein. وَإِن But if تُصِبْهُمْ afflicts them سَيِّئَةٌۢ an evil بِمَا for what قَدَّمَتْ have sent forth أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands, إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَقْنَطُونَ despair.
English - And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair. .
हिंदी - और जब हम लोगों को रहमत का मज़्ाा चखाते हैं तो वह उस पर ख़ुश हो जाते हैं और अगर उन्हें कोई परेशानी पहुँचती है उसके बदले जो उनके हाथों ने किया तो अचानक वह मायूस होने लगते हैं।.
Ayah 37
أَوَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَبْسُطُ extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِمَن for whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَقْدِرُ and straitens (it). إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ who believe.
English - Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe. .
हिंदी - क्या उन्होंने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह रिज़्क़ को फैला देता है और तंग कर देता है जिसके लिए चाहता है, बेशक इस में निशानियाँ हैं उन लोगों के लिए जो यक़ीन रखते हैं।.
Ayah 38
فَـَٔاتِ So give ذَا the relative ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ the relative حَقَّهُۥ his right وَٱلْمِسْكِينَ and the poor وَٱبْنَ and the wayfarer. ٱلسَّبِيلِ and the wayfarer. ذَٰلِكَ That خَيْرٌ (is) best لِّلَّذِينَ for those who يُرِيدُونَ desire وَجْهَ (the) Countenance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those, هُمُ they ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ (are) the successful ones.
English - So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the countenance of Allah, and it is they who will be the successful. .
हिंदी - तो तुम रिश्तेदार और ग़रीब और मुसाफ़िर को उसका हक़ दो, यह बेहतर है उनके लिए जो अल्लाह की ख़ुशी चाहते और वही लोग कामयाब होने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 39
وَمَآ And what ءَاتَيْتُم you give مِّن for رِّبًا usury لِّيَرْبُوَا۟ to increase فِىٓ in أَمْوَٰلِ (the) wealth ٱلنَّاسِ (of) people, فَلَا not يَرْبُوا۟ (will) increase عِندَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَمَآ But what ءَاتَيْتُم you give مِّن of زَكَوٰةٍ zakah تُرِيدُونَ desiring وَجْهَ (the) Countenance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those هُمُ [they] ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ (will) get manifold.
English - And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah – those are the multipliers. .
हिंदी - और जो तुम सूद में से देते हो ताकि वह लोगों के माल में बढ़ जाए तो वह नहीं बढ़ता है अल्लाह के पास और जो तुम ज़्ाकात में से अल्लाह की ख़ुशी चाहते हुए देते हो तो यही लोग हैं दो गुुना करने वाले।.
Ayah 40
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who خَلَقَكُمْ created you, ثُمَّ then رَزَقَكُمْ He provided (for) you, ثُمَّ then يُمِيتُكُمْ He will cause you to die ثُمَّ then يُحْيِيكُمْ He will give you life. هَلْ Is (there) مِن any شُرَكَآئِكُم (of) your partners مَّن who يَفْعَلُ does مِن of ذَٰلِكُم that مِّن any شَىْءٍ thing? سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him وَتَعَٰلَىٰ and exalted is He عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate.
English - Allah is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your “partners” who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने ही तुम्हें पैदा किया फिर उसने तुम्हें रोज़्ाी दी फिर वह तुम्हें मौत देगा फिर वह तुम्हें ज़िंदा करेगा, क्या तुम्हारे साझियों में से है कोई जो इन में से कुछ भी करे? वह पाक है और उस से बहुत ऊँचा है जो वह शरीक ठहराते हैं।.
Ayah 41
ظَهَرَ Has appeared ٱلْفَسَادُ the corruption فِى in ٱلْبَرِّ the land وَٱلْبَحْرِ and the sea بِمَا for what كَسَبَتْ have earned أَيْدِى (the) hands ٱلنَّاسِ (of) people, لِيُذِيقَهُم so that He may let them taste بَعْضَ a part ٱلَّذِى (of) that which عَمِلُوا۟ they have done لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَرْجِعُونَ return.
English - Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]. .
हिंदी - फ़साद ज़ाहिर हो गया सूखे और समंुद्र में उस वजह से जो लोगों के हाथों ने कमाया ताकि वह उसका कुछ हिस्सा उन्हें चखाए जो उन्होंने किया ताकि वह लौट आएं।.
Ayah 42
قُلْ Say, سِيرُوا۟ "Travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَٱنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who مِن (were) before. قَبْلُ (were) before. كَانَ Most of them were أَكْثَرُهُم Most of them were مُّشْرِكِينَ polytheists."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], “Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]. .
हिंदी - कहो, ज़्ामीन में चलो फिरो, फिर देखो कैसा अंजाम हुआ उनका जो पहले थे, उन में से अक्सर साझी ठहराने वाले थे।.
Ayah 43
فَأَقِمْ So set وَجْهَكَ your face لِلدِّينِ to the religion ٱلْقَيِّمِ right, مِن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يَأْتِىَ comes يَوْمٌ a Day لَّا not مَرَدَّ (can be) averted لَهُۥ [it] مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. يَوْمَئِذٍ That Day, يَصَّدَّعُونَ they will be divided.
English - So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided. .
हिंदी - तो अपना रुख़ सीधे दीन की तरफ़ करो इस से पहले कि एक ऐसा दिन आए जिसे टलना नहीं है अल्लाह की तरफ़ से, उस दिन वह अलग अलग हो जाएंगे।.
Ayah 44
مَن Whoever كَفَرَ disbelieves, فَعَلَيْهِ then against him كُفْرُهُۥ (is) his disbelief. وَمَنْ And whoever عَمِلَ does صَٰلِحًا righteousness, فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ then for themselves يَمْهَدُونَ they are preparing,
English - Whoever disbelieves – upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness – they are for themselves preparing, .
हिंदी - जिसने कुफ्ऱ किया तो उसका कुफ्ऱ उसी पर है और जिसने कोई अच्छा काम किया तो अपने लिए ही वह रास्ता बना रहे हैं।.
Ayah 45
لِيَجْزِىَ That He may reward ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds مِن (out) of فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ like ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - ताकि वह उन्हें बदला दे अपने फ़ज़्ल (मेहरबानी) से जो ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने अच्छे काम किए, बेशक वह इंकार करने वालों को पसंद नहीं करता।.
Ayah 46
وَمِنْ And among ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ His Signs أَن (is) that يُرْسِلَ He sends ٱلرِّيَاحَ the winds مُبَشِّرَٰتٍ (as) bearers of glad tidings وَلِيُذِيقَكُم and to let you taste مِّن of رَّحْمَتِهِۦ His Mercy, وَلِتَجْرِىَ and that may sail ٱلْفُلْكُ the ships بِأَمْرِهِۦ at His Command, وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ and that you may seek مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty, وَلَعَلَّكُمْ and that you may تَشْكُرُونَ be grateful.
English - And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful. .
हिंदी - और उसकी निशानियों में से है कि वह हवाओं को भेजता है ख़ुशख़बरी देने वालियाँ बना कर और ताकि वह तुम्हें अपनी रहमत का मज़्ाा चखाए और ताकि नाव उसके हुक्म से दौड़े औरा ताकि तुम उसके फ़ज़्ल (रिज़्क़) मेें से तलाश करो, और ताकि तुम एहसान मान सको।.
Ayah 47
وَلَقَدْ And verily, أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you رُسُلًا Messengers إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِمْ their people, فَجَآءُوهُم and they came to them بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs; فَٱنتَقَمْنَا then We took retribution مِنَ from ٱلَّذِينَ those who أَجْرَمُوا۟ committed crimes. وَكَانَ And it was حَقًّا incumbent عَلَيْنَا upon Us نَصْرُ (to) help ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers. .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने तुम से पहले कई रसूल भेजे उनकी क़ौम की तरफ़ तो वह उनके पास खुली दलीलों के साथ आए, फिर जिन्होंने जुर्म किया, हमने उन से इंतेक़ाम लिया और ईमान वालों की मदद करना हम पर हक़ है।.
Ayah 48
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُرْسِلُ sends ٱلرِّيَٰحَ the winds, فَتُثِيرُ so they raise سَحَابًا (the) clouds, فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ then He spreads them فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky, كَيْفَ how يَشَآءُ He wills, وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ and He makes them كِسَفًا fragments فَتَرَى so you see ٱلْوَدْقَ the rain يَخْرُجُ coming forth مِنْ from خِلَٰلِهِۦ their midst. فَإِذَآ Then when أَصَابَ He causes it to fall on بِهِۦ He causes it to fall on مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills مِنْ of عِبَادِهِۦٓ His slaves, إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ rejoice.
English - It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ही है जो हवाओं को भेजता है फिर वह बादल उठाती हैं फिर वह उसे फैला देता है आसमान में जैसे चाहता है और वह उसे टुकड़ों में बना देता है तो तुम देखते हो कि बारिश निकलती है उसके बीच से, फिर जब वह उसे पहुँचाता है जिसे वह चाहता है अपने बंदों में से, जभी वह ख़ुश हो जाते हैं।.
Ayah 49
وَإِن And certainly كَانُوا۟ they were, مِن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يُنَزَّلَ it was sent down عَلَيْهِم upon them, مِّن [before it], قَبْلِهِۦ [before it], لَمُبْلِسِينَ surely in despair.
English - Although they were, before it was sent down upon them – before that, in despair. .
हिंदी - और भले ही वह इस से पहले बिल्कुल मायूस थे, उन पर वह (बारिश) बरसाई जाने से पहले।.
Ayah 50
فَٱنظُرْ So look إِلَىٰٓ at ءَاثَٰرِ (the) effects رَحْمَتِ (of the) Mercy ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, كَيْفَ how يُحْىِ He gives life ٱلْأَرْضَ (to) the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَآ its death. إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that لَمُحْىِ surely He (will) give life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead. وَهُوَ And He عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah – how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - तो अल्लाह की रहमत के आसार की तरफ़ देखो, कैसे वह ज़्ामीन को ज़िंदा करता है उसके बेजान हो जाने के बाद, बेशक वही मुर्दों को ज़िंदा करने वाला है और वह हर चीज़्ा पर ख़ूब ताक़त रखने वाला हैै।.
Ayah 51
وَلَئِنْ But if أَرْسَلْنَا We sent رِيحًا a wind فَرَأَوْهُ and they see it مُصْفَرًّا turn yellow, لَّظَلُّوا۟ certainly they continue مِنۢ after it بَعْدِهِۦ after it يَكْفُرُونَ (in) disbelief.
English - But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers. .
हिंदी - और अगर हम कोई हवा भेजें फिर वह उसे (खेती को) पीली पड़ी हुई देखें तो वह ज़रूर इसके बाद कुफ्ऱ करने लग जाएं।.
Ayah 52
فَإِنَّكَ So indeed, you لَا (can) not تُسْمِعُ make the dead hear ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ make the dead hear وَلَا and not تُسْمِعُ make the deaf hear ٱلصُّمَّ make the deaf hear ٱلدُّعَآءَ the call إِذَا when وَلَّوْا۟ they turn, مُدْبِرِينَ retreating.
English - So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating. .
हिंदी - तो बेशक तुम मुर्दाें को सुना नहीं सकते और ना बहरोें को पुकार सुना सकते हो, जब वह पीठ फेरते हुए मुँह मोड़ लें।.
Ayah 53
وَمَآ And not أَنتَ you بِهَٰدِ can guide ٱلْعُمْىِ the blind عَن from ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ their error. إِن Not تُسْمِعُ you can make hear إِلَّا except مَن (those) who يُؤْمِنُ believe بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا in Our Verses فَهُم so they مُّسْلِمُونَ surrender.
English - And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allah]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 54
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who خَلَقَكُم created you مِّن from ضَعْفٍ weakness, ثُمَّ then جَعَلَ made مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after ضَعْفٍ weakness قُوَّةً strength, ثُمَّ then جَعَلَ made مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after قُوَّةٍ strength ضَعْفًا weakness وَشَيْبَةً and gray hair. يَخْلُقُ He creates مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills, وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَلِيمُ (is) the All-Knower ٱلْقَدِيرُ the All-Powerful.
English - Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ही है जिसने तुम्हें पैदा किया कमज़्ाोरी से, फिर उसने कमज़्ाोरी के बाद ताक़त बनाई, फिर उसने बनाई ताक़त के बाद कमज़्ाोरी और बुढ़ापा, वह पैदा करता है जो वह चाहता है और वह ख़ूब जानने वाला, बहुत कु़दरत रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 55
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day تَقُومُ will (be) established ٱلسَّاعَةُ the Hour يُقْسِمُ will swear ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals مَا not لَبِثُوا۟ they remained غَيْرَ but سَاعَةٍ an hour. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus كَانُوا۟ they were يُؤْفَكُونَ deluded.
English - And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded. .
हिंदी - और जिस दिन क़यामत क़ायम होगी, मुजरिम क़सम खायेंगे कि वह एक घड़ी के सिवा नहीं ठहरे, इसी तरह वह उलटे जाया करते थे।.
Ayah 56
وَقَالَ But will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ and the faith, لَقَدْ "Verily لَبِثْتُمْ you remained فِى by كِتَٰبِ (the) Decree ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah إِلَىٰ until يَوْمِ (the) Day ٱلْبَعْثِ (of) Resurrection. فَهَٰذَا And this يَوْمُ (is the) Day ٱلْبَعْثِ (of) the Resurrection وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ but you كُنتُمْ were لَا not تَعْلَمُونَ knowing.
English - But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, “You remained the extent of Allah’s decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know.” .
हिंदी - और जिन्हें इल्म और ईमान दिया गया वह कहेंगे कि तुम अल्लाह की किताब में दोबारा उठने के दिन तक ठहरे रहे, तो यह दोबारा उठने का दिन है, लेकिन तुम्हें पता ना था।.
Ayah 57
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ So that Day, لَّا not يَنفَعُ will profit ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ their excuses وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ will be allowed to make amends.
English - So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]. .
हिंदी - तो उस दिन, जिन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया उन्हें उनकी माफ़ी फ़ायदा ना देगी और ना उनकी तौबा कु़बूल की जाएगी।.
Ayah 58
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ضَرَبْنَا We (have) set forth لِلنَّاسِ for mankind فِى in هَٰذَا this - ٱلْقُرْءَانِ [the] Quran مِن of كُلِّ every مَثَلٍ example. وَلَئِن But if جِئْتَهُم you bring them بِـَٔايَةٍ a sign, لَّيَقُولَنَّ surely will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve, إِنْ "Not أَنتُمْ you إِلَّا (are) except مُبْطِلُونَ falsifiers."
English - And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur’an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, “You [believers] are but falsifiers.” .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने इस क़ुरआन में लोगों के लिए हर (तरह की) मिसाल पेश की, और अगर तुम उनके पास कोई निशानी ले आओ तो जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया वह ज़रूर कहेंगे कि तुम नहीं हो मगर झूठ बनाने वाले।.
Ayah 59
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يَطْبَعُ Allah seals ٱللَّهُ Allah seals عَلَىٰ [on] قُلُوبِ (the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know. .
हिंदी - इसी तरह अल्लाह उनके दिलों ठप्पा लगा देता है जो जानकारी नहीं रखते।.
Ayah 60
فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient. إِنَّ Indeed, وَعْدَ (the) Promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah حَقٌّ (is) true. وَلَا And (let) not يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ take you in light estimation ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (are) not يُوقِنُونَ certain in faith.
English - So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith]. .
हिंदी - तो सब्र करो, बेशक अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और जो यक़ीन नहीं रखते वह हरगिज़ तुम्हें हल्के में ना लें।.
