Ayah 1
الٓمٓ Alif Laam Meem
English - Alif, Lam, Meem. .
हिंदी - अलिफ़ लाम मीम।.
Ayah 2
ٱللَّهُ Allah - لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ God إِلَّا except هُوَ Him, ٱلْحَىُّ the Ever-Living ٱلْقَيُّومُ the Sustainer of all that exists.
English - Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह, नहीं है कोई पूज्य मगर वह जिंदा, बाक़ी रहने वाला है।.
Ayah 3
نَزَّلَ He revealed عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book بِٱلْحَقِّ in [the] truth مُصَدِّقًا confirming لِّمَا that which بَيْنَ (was) يَدَيْهِ before it, وَأَنزَلَ and He revealed ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ the Taurat وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ and the Injeel,
English - He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. .
हिंदी - तुम पर हक़ के साथ किताब उतारी, सच्चा बताती है जो उस से पहले है, और तौरात और इंजील उतारी,.
Ayah 4
مِن From قَبْلُ before (this), هُدًى (as) guidance لِّلنَّاسِ for the mankind. وَأَنزَلَ And (He) revealed ٱلْفُرْقَانَ the Criterion. إِنَّ Verily, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d] بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, ذُو All-Able ٱنتِقَامٍ (of) retribution.
English - Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Criterion [i.e., the Qur’an]. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution. .
हिंदी - इस से पहले लोगों की हिदायत के लिए, और उस ने फै़सला करने वाला ;फ़ुरक़ानद्ध उतारा, बेशक जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह की आयतों का इंकार किया, उन के लिए सख़्त अज़ाब है और अल्लाह ज़्ाबरदस्तए बदला लेने वाला है।.
Ayah 5
إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah - لَا not يَخْفَىٰ is hidden عَلَيْهِ from Him شَىْءٌ anything فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven.
English - Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven. .
हिंदी - 5 बेशक अल्लाह पर कोई चीज़ छिपी नहीं है ज़मीन में और ना ही आसमान में।.
Ayah 6
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُصَوِّرُكُمْ shapes you فِى in ٱلْأَرْحَامِ the wombs كَيْفَ how(ever) يَشَآءُ He wills. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - 6 वही है जो तुम्हारी सूरत माँ के पेट मंे बनाता है जैसा चाहता है। नहीं है कोई पूज्य सिवाए उस के जो ज़बरदस्त, हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 7
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَنزَلَ revealed عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book, مِنْهُ of it ءَايَٰتٌ (are) Verses مُّحْكَمَٰتٌ absolutely clear - هُنَّ they (are) أُمُّ the foundation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book, وَأُخَرُ and others مُتَشَٰبِهَٰتٌ (are) allegorical. فَأَمَّا Then as for ٱلَّذِينَ those فِى in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts زَيْغٌ (is) perversity - فَيَتَّبِعُونَ [so] they follow مَا what تَشَٰبَهَ (is) allegorical مِنْهُ of it, ٱبْتِغَآءَ seeking ٱلْفِتْنَةِ [the] discord وَٱبْتِغَآءَ and seeking تَأْوِيلِهِۦ its interpretation. وَمَا And not يَعْلَمُ knows تَأْوِيلَهُۥٓ its interpretation إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ And those firm فِى in ٱلْعِلْمِ [the] knowledge, يَقُولُونَ they say, ءَامَنَّا "We believe بِهِۦ in it. كُلٌّ All مِّنْ (is) عِندِ from رَبِّنَا our Lord." وَمَا And not يَذَّكَّرُ will take heed إِلَّآ except أُو۟لُوا۟ men ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ (of) understanding.
English - It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise – they are the foundation of the Book – and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding. .
हिंदी - 7 वही है जिस ने तुम पर किताब उतारी जिस में कुछ आयतें पक्की हैं, वह किताब की बुनियाद हैं और दूसरी मिलती जुलती (मुताशाबेहात) हैं, तो वह लोग जिन के दिल में टेढ़ापन है तो वह मुतशाबेहात के पिछे पड़े रहते हैं फ़साद फैलाने के लिए और उस का मतलब मालूम करने के लिए और उस का मतलब नहीं जानता मगर अल्लाह और मज़्ाबूत इल्म वाले कहते हैं, “हम उस पर ईमान लाए, सब हमारे रब की तरफ़ से है” और नसीहत नहीं हासिल करते मगर समझ वाले।.
Ayah 8
رَبَّنَا "Our Lord! لَا (Do) not تُزِغْ deviate قُلُوبَنَا our hearts بَعْدَ after إِذْ [when] هَدَيْتَنَا You (have) guided us, وَهَبْ and grant لَنَا (for) us مِن from لَّدُنكَ Yourself رَحْمَةً mercy. إِنَّكَ Indeed You, أَنتَ You ٱلْوَهَّابُ (are) the Bestower.
English - [Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. .
हिंदी - 8 ऐ हमारे रब हमारे दिल को टेढ़ा मत कर, इस के बाद की तू ने हमें हिदायत दी और हमें अपने पास से रहमत दे, बेशक तू बहुत देने वाल है।.
Ayah 9
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord! إِنَّكَ Indeed, You جَامِعُ will gather ٱلنَّاسِ [the] mankind لِيَوْمٍ on a Day, لَّا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُخْلِفُ break ٱلْمِيعَادَ the Promise."
English - Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise." .
हिंदी - 9 ऐ हमारे रब! बेशक तू लोगों को उस दिन जमा करने वाला है जिस में कोई शक नहीं, बेशक अल्लाह वादा ख़िलाफ़ी नहीं करता।.
Ayah 10
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d] لَن never تُغْنِىَ will avail عَنْهُمْ [for] them أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth وَلَآ and not أَوْلَٰدُهُم their children مِّنَ against ٱللَّهِ Allah شَيْـًٔا anything, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those - هُمْ they (are) وَقُودُ (the) fuel ٱلنَّارِ (for) the Fire.
English - Indeed, those who disbelieve – never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire. .
हिंदी - 10 बेशक जिन लोगों ने इंकार किया हरगिज़ अल्लाह के आगे उन का माल उन के कुछ काम नहीं आएगा और ना ही उन की औलाद और वही लोग आग के ईंधन हैं।.
Ayah 11
كَدَأْبِ Like behavior ءَالِ (of the) people فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who مِن (were) from قَبْلِهِمْ before them. كَذَّبُوا۟ They denied بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا Our Signs, فَأَخَذَهُمُ so seized them ٱللَّهُ Allah بِذُنُوبِهِمْ for their sins. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah شَدِيدُ (is) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) [the] punishment.
English - [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in penalty. .
हिंदी - 11 फ़िरऔन के लोगों की हालत की तरह और जो लोग उन से पहले थे, उन्होंने हमारी निशनियों को झुटलाया तो अल्लाह ने उन के गुनाहों की वजह से उन्हें पकड़ा और अल्लाह सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।.
Ayah 12
قُل Say لِّلَّذِينَ to those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d], سَتُغْلَبُونَ "You will be overcome وَتُحْشَرُونَ and you will be gathered إِلَىٰ to جَهَنَّمَ Hell, وَبِئْسَ [and] an evil ٱلْمِهَادُ [the] resting place.
English - Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place." .
हिंदी - 12 कहो उन से जिन्होंने इंकार किया, जल्द ही तुम हराए जाओगे और जहन्न्म की तरफ़ जमा किए जाओगे और वह बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 13
قَدْ Surely كَانَ it was لَكُمْ for you ءَايَةٌ a sign فِى in فِئَتَيْنِ (the) two hosts ٱلْتَقَتَا which met - فِئَةٌ one group تُقَٰتِلُ fighting فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَأُخْرَىٰ and another كَافِرَةٌ disbelievers. يَرَوْنَهُم They were seeing them مِّثْلَيْهِمْ twice of them رَأْىَ with the sight ٱلْعَيْنِ (of) their eyes. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يُؤَيِّدُ supports بِنَصْرِهِۦ with His help مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَعِبْرَةً surely (is) a lesson لِّأُو۟لِى for the owners ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ (of) vision.
English - Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met [in combat in Badr] – one fighting in the cause of Allah and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight. But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision. .
हिंदी - 13 तुम्हारे लिए निशानी थी उन दो गिरोहों में जो आपस में मिले, एक गिरोह अल्लाह के रास्ते में लड़ रहा था और दूसरा काफ़िर था, जो उन को आखों से देख रहा था अपने से दूगुना और अल्लाह अपनी मदद जिसे चाहता है देता है, बेशक इस में देखने वालोें के लिए सबक़ है।.
Ayah 14
زُيِّنَ Beautified لِلنَّاسِ for mankind حُبُّ (is) love ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ (of) the (things they) desire - مِنَ of ٱلنِّسَآءِ [the] women وَٱلْبَنِينَ and [the] sons وَٱلْقَنَٰطِيرِ and [the] heaps ٱلْمُقَنطَرَةِ [the] stored up مِنَ of ٱلذَّهَبِ [the] gold وَٱلْفِضَّةِ and [the] silver, وَٱلْخَيْلِ and [the] horses ٱلْمُسَوَّمَةِ [the] branded, وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ and [the] cattle وَٱلْحَرْثِ and [the] tilled land. ذَٰلِكَ That مَتَٰعُ (is) provision ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world وَٱللَّهُ but Allah - عِندَهُۥ with Him حُسْنُ (is an) excellent ٱلْمَـَٔابِ [the] abode to return.
English - Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire – of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return [i.e. Paradise]. .
हिंदी - 14 लोगों के लिए ख़ाहिशों की मुहब्बत सजा दी गई जैसे औरतों और बेटों और सोने और चान्दी के ढेरों के ढेर और निशान पड़े हुए घोड़े और जानवर और खेती, यह दुनिया की जिंदगी का सामान है और अल्लाह, जिस के पास अच्छा टिकाना है।.
Ayah 15
قُلْ Say, أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم "Shall I inform you بِخَيْرٍ of better مِّن than ذَٰلِكُمْ that. لِلَّذِينَ For those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ fear[ed], عِندَ with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord, جَنَّٰتٌ (are) Gardens تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ [the] rivers - خَٰلِدِينَ abiding forever فِيهَا in it, وَأَزْوَٰجٌ and spouses مُّطَهَّرَةٌ pure وَرِضْوَٰنٌ and approval مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بَصِيرٌۢ (is) All-Seer بِٱلْعِبَادِ of (His) slaves."
English - Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And Allah is Seeing [ i.e. aware] of [His] servants – .
हिंदी - 15 कहो! क्या मैं तुम्हें इस से बेहतर बताऊँ, उन के लिए जिन्होंने परहेज़गारी की, उन के रब के पास जन्नतें हैं, जिन के नीचे से नहरें बहती हैं, उन में हमेशा रहेंगे और पाकीज़ा जोड़े हैं और अल्लाह की रज़्ाामंदी है और अल्लाह बंदों को देखने वाला है।.
Ayah 16
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَقُولُونَ say, رَبَّنَآ "Our Lord! إِنَّنَآ Indeed, we ءَامَنَّا (have) believed, فَٱغْفِرْ so forgive لَنَا for us ذُنُوبَنَا our sins وَقِنَا and save us عَذَابَ (from) punishment ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire."
English - Those who say, "Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire," .
हिंदी - 16 वह जो कहते हैं! ऐ हमारे रब हम ईमान लाए हैं तो हमारे गुनाह बख़्श दे और हमें आग के अज़ाब से बचा ले।.
Ayah 17
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ The patient وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ and the truthful وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ and the obedient وَٱلْمُنفِقِينَ and those who spend وَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ and those who seek forgiveness بِٱلْأَسْحَارِ [in the] before dawn.
English - The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn. .
हिंदी - 17 सब्र करने वाले और सच्चे और हुक्म मानने वाले और ख़र्च करने वाले और सुबह के वक़्त माफ़ी मांगने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 18
شَهِدَ Bears witness ٱللَّهُ Allah أَنَّهُۥ that [He], لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him, وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ and (so do) the Angels, وَأُو۟لُوا۟ and owners ٱلْعِلْمِ (of) [the] knowledge - قَآئِمًۢا standing بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge – [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - 18 अल्लाह ने गवाही दी कि बेशक नहीं है कोई पूज्य मगर वह, और फ़रिशतों और इल्म वालों ने कि वह इंसाफ़ पर क़ायम हैं। नहीं है कोई पूज्य मगर वह, ज़्ाबरदस्त, हिकमत वाला।.
Ayah 19
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلدِّينَ the religion عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْإِسْلَٰمُ (is) Islam. وَمَا And not ٱخْتَلَفَ differed ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book إِلَّا except مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after مَا [what] جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْعِلْمُ [the] knowledge بَغْيًۢا out of envy بَيْنَهُمْ among them. وَمَن And whoever يَكْفُرْ disbelieves بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَرِيعُ (is) swift ٱلْحِسَابِ (in taking) account.
English - Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them – out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account..
हिंदी - 19 बेशक दीन अल्लाह के यहाँ इसलाम है और जिन को किताब दी गई उन्होंने इख़तेलाफ़ नहीं किया मगर आपस की जि़्ाद में, इस के बाद की उन के पास इल्म आ चुका। जो अल्लाह की आयतों का इंकार करता है तो बेशक अल्लाह जलद हिसाब लेने वाला है।.
Ayah 20
فَإِنْ Then if حَآجُّوكَ they argue with you, فَقُلْ then say, أَسْلَمْتُ "I have submitted وَجْهِىَ myself لِلَّهِ to Allah وَمَنِ and (those) who ٱتَّبَعَنِ follow me." وَقُل And say لِّلَّذِينَ to those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book, وَٱلْأُمِّيِّۦنَ and the unlettered people, ءَأَسْلَمْتُمْ "Have you submitted yourselves?" فَإِنْ Then if أَسْلَمُوا۟ they submit فَقَدِ then surely ٱهْتَدَوا۟ they are guided. وَّإِن But if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn back فَإِنَّمَا then only عَلَيْكَ on you ٱلْبَلَٰغُ (is) to [the] convey. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بَصِيرٌۢ (is) All-Seer بِٱلْعِبَادِ of [His] slaves.
English - So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allah [in Islam], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned, "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islam], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away – then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants. .
हिंदी - 20 फिर अगर वह तुम से झगड़ें तो कह दो मैं ने ख़ुद को और जिन्होंने मेरी पैरवी की अल्लाह के हवाले किया और कहो उन लोगांे से जिन्हें किताब दी गई और अनपढ़ लोगों से, “क्या तुम इसलाम लाते हो”? तो अगर वह इसलाम ले आएं तो वह हिदायत पा गए और अगर वह मुंह फेरें तो तुम पर (सिर्फ़) पहुंचा देना है और अल्लाह बंदों को देखने वाला है।.
Ayah 21
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Signs (of) ٱللَّهِ Allah وَيَقْتُلُونَ and they kill ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ the Prophets بِغَيْرِ without حَقٍّ right وَيَقْتُلُونَ and they kill ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَأْمُرُونَ order بِٱلْقِسْطِ [with] justice مِنَ among ٱلنَّاسِ the people, فَبَشِّرْهُم then give them tidings بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment أَلِيمٍ painful.
English - Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people – give them tidings of a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - 21 बेशक जो लोग अल्लाह की आयतों का इंकार करते हैं और नबियों को नाहक़ क़त्ल करते हैं और जो लोगों में इंसाफ़ करने का हुक्म देते हैं उन्हें क़त्ल करते हैं, तो उन्हें भयानक अज़ाब की ख़ुश्ख़बरी दो।.
Ayah 22
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones who - حَبِطَتْ became worthless أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ their deeds فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ and (in) the Hereafter. وَمَا And not لَهُم (will be) for them مِّن any نَّٰصِرِينَ helpers.
English - They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers. .
हिंदी - 22 यही वह लोग हैं जिन के काम दुनिया और आख़िरत में बर्बाद हो गए और उन के लिए कोई मदद करने वाला नहीं है।.
Ayah 23
أَلَمْ Have not تَرَ you seen إِلَى [to] ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given نَصِيبًا a portion مِّنَ of ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Scripture? يُدْعَوْنَ They are invited إِلَىٰ to كِتَٰبِ (the) Book ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah لِيَحْكُمَ that (it should) arbitrate بَيْنَهُمْ between them, ثُمَّ then يَتَوَلَّىٰ turns away فَرِيقٌ a party مِّنْهُمْ of them وَهُم and they (are) مُّعْرِضُونَ those who are averse.
English - Do you not consider, [O Muhammad], those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They are invited to the Scripture of Allah that it should arbitrate between them; then a party of them turns away, and they are refusing. .
हिंदी - 23 क्या तुम ने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जिन को किताब से हिस्सा दिया गया, उन्हें अल्लाह की किताब की तरफ़ बुलाया जाता है ताकि उन के बीच फै़सला करे, फिर उन में से एक गिरोह फिर जाता है, इस हाल में कि वह मुंह फ़ेरने वाले होते हैं।.
Ayah 24
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they قَالُوا۟ say, لَن "Never تَمَسَّنَا will touch us ٱلنَّارُ the Fire إِلَّآ except أَيَّامًا (for) days مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ numbered." وَغَرَّهُمْ And deceived them فِى in دِينِهِم their religion مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they were يَفْتَرُونَ inventing.
English - That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing. .
हिंदी - 24 यह इसलिए कि उन्होंने कहा कि आग हमें नहीं छुएगी मगर गिनती के चंद दिन और उन की बनाई हुई बातों ने उन्हें दीन में धोका दिया हुआ है।.
Ayah 25
فَكَيْفَ Then how (will it be) إِذَا when جَمَعْنَٰهُمْ We will gather them لِيَوْمٍ on a Day - لَّا no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it. وَوُفِّيَتْ And will be paid in full كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّا what كَسَبَتْ it earned وَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged.
English - So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned, and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - 25 तो क्या होगा जब हम उन को जमा करेंगे उस दिन जिस में कोई शक नहीं और हर जान को पूरा दिया जाएगा जो उस ने कमाया और उन पर जुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा।.
Ayah 26
قُلِ Say ٱللَّهُمَّ "O Allah! مَٰلِكَ Owner ٱلْمُلْكِ (of) the Dominion, تُؤْتِى You give ٱلْمُلْكَ the dominion مَن (to) whom تَشَآءُ You will وَتَنزِعُ and You take away ٱلْمُلْكَ the dominion مِمَّن from whom تَشَآءُ You will, وَتُعِزُّ and You honor مَن whom تَشَآءُ You will, وَتُذِلُّ and You humiliate مَن whom تَشَآءُ You will. بِيَدِكَ In Your hand ٱلْخَيْرُ (is all) the good. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You عَلَىٰ (are) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - Say, “O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. .
हिंदी - 26 कहो, हमसब के अल्लाह, बादशाही के मालिक, तू बादशाही देता है जिसे चाहता है और तू बादशाही छीन लेता जिस से चाहता है और इज़्ज़्ात देता है जिसे चाहता है और ज़लील करता है जिसे चाहता है। तेरे हाथ में भलाई है, बेशक तू हर चीज़ पर ताक़त रखता है।.
Ayah 27
تُولِجُ You cause to enter ٱلَّيْلَ the night فِى in ٱلنَّهَارِ the day وَتُولِجُ and You cause to enter ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى in ٱلَّيْلِ the night, وَتُخْرِجُ and You bring forth ٱلْحَىَّ the living مِنَ from ٱلْمَيِّتِ the dead, وَتُخْرِجُ and You bring forth ٱلْمَيِّتَ the dead مِنَ from ٱلْحَىِّ the living, وَتَرْزُقُ and You give provision مَن (to) whom تَشَآءُ You will بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ measure."
English - You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account." .
हिंदी - 27 तू दाखिल करता है रात को दिन में और दिन को रात में और तू जिंदा को मुर्दा से निकालता है और मुर्दा से जिंदा को निकालता है और तू जिसे चाहता है बे हिसाब रोज़ी देता है।.
Ayah 28
لَّا (Let) not يَتَّخِذِ take ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers, ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers أَوْلِيَآءَ (as) allies مِن from دُونِ instead of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers. وَمَن And whoever يَفْعَلْ does ذَٰلِكَ that, فَلَيْسَ then not he (has) مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah فِى in شَىْءٍ anything إِلَّآ except أَن that تَتَّقُوا۟ you fear مِنْهُمْ from them, تُقَىٰةً (as) a precaution. وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ And warns you ٱللَّهُ Allah نَفْسَهُۥ (of) Himself, وَإِلَى and to ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the final return.
English - Let not believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e. supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing [i.e. no association] with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination. .
हिंदी - 28 ईमान वाले काफ़िरांे को दोस्त न बनाएं ईमान वालों को छोड़ कर और जो कोई यह करे तो उस से अल्लाह का कुछ (तअल्लुक़) नहीं, मगर यह कि तुम उन से बचाओ करना चाहो और अल्लाह तुम्हें अपने आप से डराता है और अल्लाह की तरफ़ लौटना है।.
Ayah 29
قُلْ Say, إِن "Whether تُخْفُوا۟ you conceal مَا what فِى (is) in صُدُورِكُمْ your breasts أَوْ or تُبْدُوهُ you disclose it - يَعْلَمْهُ knows it ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَيَعْلَمُ And He knows مَا what فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and what فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful."
English - Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - 29 कहो अगर तुम छिपाओ जो तुम्हारे दिल में है या उस को ज़ाहिर करो, अल्लाह उसे जानता है और जो आसमानो में और जो ज़मीन में है (उसे भी) जानता है और अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर ताक़त रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 30
يَوْمَ (On the) day تَجِدُ will find كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّا what عَمِلَتْ it did مِنْ of خَيْرٍ good - مُّحْضَرًا presented, وَمَا and what عَمِلَتْ it did مِن of سُوٓءٍ evil, تَوَدُّ it will wish لَوْ [if] أَنَّ that بَيْنَهَا between itself وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ and between it (evil) أَمَدًۢا (was) a distance بَعِيدًا great. وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ And warns you ٱللَّهُ Allah نَفْسَهُۥ (against) Himself, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah رَءُوفٌۢ (is) Most Kind بِٱلْعِبَادِ to (His) [the] slaves.
English - The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants." .
हिंदी - 30 जिस दिन हर जान मौजूद पाएगी जो उस ने भलाई की और जो उस ने बुरा किया, चाहेगी कि काश उस के बीच और उस (की बुराई) के बीच लंबी दूरी हो जाए और अल्लाह अपनी ज़ात से डराता है और अल्लाह बंदों पर बहुत मेहरबान है।.
Ayah 31
قُلْ Say, إِن "If كُنتُمْ you تُحِبُّونَ love ٱللَّهَ Allah, فَٱتَّبِعُونِى then follow me, يُحْبِبْكُمُ will love you ٱللَّهُ Allah وَيَغْفِرْ and He will forgive لَكُمْ for you ذُنُوبَكُمْ your sins. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." .
हिंदी - 31 कहो, अगर तुम अल्लाह से मुहब्बत करते हो तो मेरी पैरवी करो। तुम से अल्लाह मुहब्बत करेगा और तुम्हारे लिए ंतुम्हारे गुनाहों को बख़शेगा और अल्लाह माफ़ करने वाला और रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 32
قُلْ Say, أَطِيعُوا۟ "Obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَٱلرَّسُولَ and the Messenger." فَإِن Then if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away - فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ love ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away – then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - 32 कहो, अल्लाह और रसूल की बात मानो। फिर अगर वह मुंह फेर लें तो बेशक अल्लाह काफ़िरों को पसंद नहीं करता।.
Ayah 33
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ chose ءَادَمَ Adam وَنُوحًا and Nuh, وَءَالَ and (the) family إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim وَءَالَ and (the) family عِمْرَٰنَ (of) Imran عَلَى over ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ the worlds.
English - Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of ‘Imran over the worlds – .
हिंदी - 33 बेशक अल्लाह ने आदम, और नूह, और इब्राहिम के ख़नदान और इमरान के ख़नदाना को पूरी दुनिया पर चुना है,.
Ayah 34
ذُرِّيَّةًۢ Descendents, بَعْضُهَا some of them مِنۢ from بَعْضٍ others. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearing, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing.
English - Descendants, some of them from others. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. .
हिंदी - 34 जो एक दूसरे की औलाद थे और अल्लाह सुनने वाला और जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 35
إِذْ When قَالَتِ [she] said ٱمْرَأَتُ (the) wife عِمْرَٰنَ (of) Imran, رَبِّ "My Lord! إِنِّى Indeed, I نَذَرْتُ [I] vowed لَكَ to You مَا what فِى (is) in بَطْنِى my womb, مُحَرَّرًا dedicated, فَتَقَبَّلْ so accept مِنِّىٓ from me. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You, أَنتَ You ٱلسَّمِيعُ (are) the All-Hearing, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knowing.
English - [Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of ‘Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing." .
हिंदी - 35 जब इमरान की बीवी ने कहा, ऐ मेरे रब जो कुछ मेरे पेट में है आज़ाद कर के तेरे लिए मन्नत मान ली है तो तू मुझ से क़ुबूल कर, बेशक तू ही सुनने वाला और जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 36
فَلَمَّا Then when وَضَعَتْهَا she delivered her, قَالَتْ she said, رَبِّ "My Lord, إِنِّى indeed I وَضَعْتُهَآ [I] (have) delivered [her] أُنثَىٰ a female." وَٱللَّهُ And Allah أَعْلَمُ knows better بِمَا [of] what وَضَعَتْ she delivered, وَلَيْسَ and is not ٱلذَّكَرُ the male كَٱلْأُنثَىٰ like the female. وَإِنِّى "And that I سَمَّيْتُهَا [I] (have) named her مَرْيَمَ Maryam وَإِنِّىٓ and that I أُعِيذُهَا [I] seek refuge for her بِكَ in You وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا and her offspring مِنَ from ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ the Shaitaan ٱلرَّجِيمِ the rejected."
English - But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah]." .
हिंदी - 36 तो जब उस ने उसे पैदा किया, बोली, “ऐ मेरे रब बेशक मैं ने उसे लड़कि जना”, और अल्लाह जानता है जो उस ने जना और बेटा बेटी की तरह नहीं होेता, और ”मैं ने उस का नाम मरियम रखा और बेशक मैं उस को और उस की औलाद को धित्कारे हुए शैतान से तेरी पनाह में देती हूँ”।.
Ayah 37
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا So accepted her, رَبُّهَا her Lord بِقَبُولٍ with acceptance حَسَنٍ good, وَأَنۢبَتَهَا and reared her - نَبَاتًا a rearing حَسَنًا good, وَكَفَّلَهَا and put her in (the) care زَكَرِيَّا (of) Zakariya. كُلَّمَا Whenever دَخَلَ entered عَلَيْهَا upon her زَكَرِيَّا Zakariya ٱلْمِحْرَابَ [the] prayer chamber وَجَدَ he found عِندَهَا with her رِزْقًا provision. قَالَ He said, يَٰمَرْيَمُ "O Maryam! أَنَّىٰ From where لَكِ for you هَٰذَا (is) this?" قَالَتْ She said, هُوَ "This مِنْ (is) عِندِ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَرْزُقُ gives provision مَن (to) whom يَشَآءُ He wills بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ measure."
English - So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, "O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?" She said, "It is from Allah. Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account." .
हिंदी - 37 तो उस के रब ने उसे अच्छी तरह से क़बूल किया और उस की अच्छे तरीक़े से परवरिश की और उसे ज़करिय्या के हवाले किया। जब भी ज़करिय्या उस के पास मेहराब (इबादत की जगह) में दाख़िल होते तो उस के पास रिज़्क़ पाते, कहते ऐ मरयम यह कहाँ से आया ? कहती, यह अल्लाह के पास से। बेशक अल्लाह रिज़्क़ देता है जिसे चाहता है बग़ैर हिसाब के।.
Ayah 38
هُنَالِكَ There only, دَعَا invoked زَكَرِيَّا Zakariya رَبَّهُۥ his Lord, قَالَ he said, رَبِّ "My Lord هَبْ grant لِى [for] me مِن from لَّدُنكَ Yourself ذُرِّيَّةً offspring طَيِّبَةً pure. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You سَمِيعُ (are) All-Hearer ٱلدُّعَآءِ (of) the prayer
English - At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication." .
हिंदी - 38 वहाँ ज़करिय्या ने अपने रब से दुआ की, कहा, “मेरे रब मुझे अपने पास से पाकीज़ा औलाद दे, बेशक तू दुआओं का सनने वाला है“।.
Ayah 39
فَنَادَتْهُ Then called him ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels وَهُوَ when he قَآئِمٌ (was) standing - يُصَلِّى praying فِى in ٱلْمِحْرَابِ the prayer chamber. أَنَّ "Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُبَشِّرُكَ gives you glad tidings بِيَحْيَىٰ of Yahya, مُصَدِّقًۢا confirming بِكَلِمَةٍ [of] a Word مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَسَيِّدًا and a noble وَحَصُورًا and chaste وَنَبِيًّا and a Prophet مِّنَ among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
English - So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous." .
हिंदी - 39 तो उन्हें फ़रिशतों ने पुकारा और वह मेहराब (इबादत की जगह) में खड़े नमाज़ पढ़ रहे थे। बेशक अल्लाह तुम्हें यहया की ख़ुशख़बरी देता है, जो सच्चा बताएगा अल्लाह की बात (कलमा) को और सरदार होगा और पाकबाज़ और नबी होगा नेक लोगों में से।.
Ayah 40
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord أَنَّىٰ how يَكُونُ can (there) be لِى for me غُلَٰمٌ a son, وَقَدْ and verily بَلَغَنِىَ has reached me ٱلْكِبَرُ [the] old age وَٱمْرَأَتِى and my wife عَاقِرٌ (is) [a] barren?" قَالَ He said, كَذَٰلِكَ "Thus; ٱللَّهُ Allah يَفْعَلُ does مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills."
English - He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?" The angel said, "Such is Allah; He does what He wills." .
हिंदी - 40 कहा! ऐ रब मुझे लड़का कहाँ से होगा और मुझ पर बुढापा आ पहुँचा और मेरी बीवी बाँझ है। कहा, “इसी तरह करता है अल्लाह जो चाहता है”।.
Ayah 41
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord ٱجْعَل make لِّىٓ for me ءَايَةً a sign." قَالَ He said, ءَايَتُكَ your sign أَلَّا (is) that not تُكَلِّمَ you will speak ٱلنَّاسَ (to) the people ثَلَٰثَةَ (for) three أَيَّامٍ days إِلَّا except رَمْزًا (with) gestures. وَٱذْكُر And remember رَّبَّكَ your Lord كَثِيرًا much, وَسَبِّحْ and glorify (Him) بِٱلْعَشِىِّ in the evening وَٱلْإِبْكَٰرِ and (in) the morning."
English - He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He Said, "Your sign is that you will not [be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning." .
हिंदी - 41 कहा, “ऐ रब मेरे लिए एक निशानी बना”। कहा, “तुम्हारी निशानी यह है कि तुम लोगों से तीन दिन बात न करोगे मगर इशारे से और अपने रब को बहुत याद करो और सुबह और शाम पाकी बयान करो”।.
Ayah 42
وَإِذْ And when قَالَتِ said ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels, يَٰمَرْيَمُ "O Maryam! إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah ٱصْطَفَىٰكِ (has) chosen you وَطَهَّرَكِ and purified you وَٱصْطَفَىٰكِ and chosen you عَلَىٰ over نِسَآءِ (the) women ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds."
English - And [mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. .
हिंदी - 42 और जब फ़रिशतों ने कहा, ऐ मरियम बेशक अल्लाह ने तुझे चुना और तुझे पाक किया और तुझे सारी दुनिया की औरतों पर चुना।.
Ayah 43
يَٰمَرْيَمُ "O Maryam! ٱقْنُتِى Be obedient لِرَبِّكِ to your Lord وَٱسْجُدِى and prostrate وَٱرْكَعِى and bow down مَعَ with ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ those who bow down."
English - O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]." .
हिंदी - 43 ऐ मरियम अपने रब की बंदगी करो और सज्दा करो और रुकूअ करने वालों के साथ रुकूअ करो।.
Ayah 44
ذَٰلِكَ That مِنْ (is) from أَنۢبَآءِ (the) news ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen - نُوحِيهِ We reveal it إِلَيْكَ to you. وَمَا And not كُنتَ you were لَدَيْهِمْ with them إِذْ when يُلْقُونَ they cast أَقْلَٰمَهُمْ their pens أَيُّهُمْ (as to) which of them يَكْفُلُ takes charge (of) مَرْيَمَ Maryam; وَمَا and not كُنتَ you were لَدَيْهِمْ with them إِذْ when يَخْتَصِمُونَ they (were) disputing.
English - That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Mary. Nor were you with them when they disputed. .
हिंदी - 44 यह छिपी ख़बरों में से है, हम उसे तेरी तरफ़ वही (प्रकाशना) करते हैं और तू उन के पास नहीं था जब वह अपना क़लम डाल रहे थे (क़ुरा अंदाज़ी के लिए) कि कौन मरियम की परवरिश करेगा और ना ही तुम उस वक़्त थे जब वह झगड़ रहे थे।.
Ayah 45
إِذْ When قَالَتِ said ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels, يَٰمَرْيَمُ "O Maryam! إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُبَشِّرُكِ gives you glad tidings بِكَلِمَةٍ of a word مِّنْهُ from Him, ٱسْمُهُ his name ٱلْمَسِيحُ (is) the Messiah, عِيسَى Isa, ٱبْنُ son مَرْيَمَ (of) Maryam, وَجِيهًا honored فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ and (in) the Hereafter, وَمِنَ and of ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ those brought near (to Allah).
English - [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary – distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]. .
हिंदी - 45 जब फ़रिशतों ने कहा, ऐ मरियम बेशक अल्लाह तुम्हें ख़ुशख़बरी देता है अपनी तरफ़ से एक कलमे की, उस का नाम मसीह, ईसा मरियम का बेटा होगा, दुनिया और अख़िरत में शान वाला और क़रीब वालोें में से होगा।.
Ayah 46
وَيُكَلِّمُ And he will speak ٱلنَّاسَ (to) the people فِى in ٱلْمَهْدِ the cradle وَكَهْلًا and (in) maturity; وَمِنَ and (he will be) of ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous."
English - He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous." .
हिंदी - 46 और गोद में ही और बड़ी उम्र में लोगों से बात करेगा और नेक लोगों में से होगा।.
Ayah 47
قَالَتْ She said, رَبِّ "My Lord أَنَّىٰ how يَكُونُ is [it] لِى for me وَلَدٌ a boy, وَلَمْ and (has) not يَمْسَسْنِى touch(ed) me بَشَرٌ any man?" قَالَ He said, كَذَٰلِكِ "Thus ٱللَّهُ Allah يَخْلُقُ creates مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills. إِذَا When قَضَىٰٓ He decrees أَمْرًا a matter فَإِنَّمَا then only يَقُولُ He says لَهُۥ to it, كُن "Be," فَيَكُونُ and it becomes.
English - She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. .
हिंदी - 47 उस ने कहा कि ऐ मेरे रब मुझे बच्चा कैसे होगा जबकि मुझे किसी इंसान ने नहीं छुआ है। कहा, इसी तरह अल्लाह जो चाहता है पैदा करता है। वह जब किसी काम का फैस्ला करता है तो कहता है, “हो”, तो वह हो जाता है।.
Ayah 48
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ And He will teach him ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book, وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ and [the] wisdom, وَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ and the Taurat, وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ and the Injeel.
English - And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel .
हिंदी - 48 और वह उसे किताब और समझ और तौरात और इंजील सिखाएगा।.
Ayah 49
وَرَسُولًا And (make him) a Messenger إِلَىٰ to بَنِىٓ (the) Children إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (of) Israel, أَنِّى "Indeed, I قَدْ [surely] جِئْتُكُم [I] (have) come (to) you بِـَٔايَةٍ with a sign مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord أَنِّىٓ that I أَخْلُقُ [I] design لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱلطِّينِ [the] clay كَهَيْـَٔةِ like the form ٱلطَّيْرِ (of) the bird, فَأَنفُخُ then I breath فِيهِ into it فَيَكُونُ and it becomes طَيْرًۢا a bird بِإِذْنِ by (the) permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَأُبْرِئُ And I cure ٱلْأَكْمَهَ the blind, وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ and the leper, وَأُحْىِ and I give life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead بِإِذْنِ by (the) permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَأُنَبِّئُكُم And I inform you بِمَا of what تَأْكُلُونَ you eat وَمَا and what تَدَّخِرُونَ you store فِى in بُيُوتِكُمْ your houses. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً (is) surely a sign لَّكُمْ for you, إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers.
English - And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead – by permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers. .
हिंदी - 49 और रसूल (होगा) इसराईल की औलाद की तरफ़। बेशक मैं तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की निशानी ले कर आया हूँ। बेशक मैं तुम्हारे लिए मिट्टी से चिड़िया की शक्ल बनाता हूँ, फिर उस में फूंकता हूँ, फिर वह अल्लाह की इजाज़त से (जिंदा) चिड़िया हो जाती है और मैं अंधे और कोड़ी को अच्छा कर देता हूँ और अल्लाह के हुक्म से मुर्दे को जिंदा करता हूँ और तुम्हें बता देता हूँ जो तुम खाते हो और जो तुम अपने घरों में जमा करते हो। बेशक इस में निशनियाँ हैं अगर तुम ईमान रखते हो।.
Ayah 50
وَمُصَدِّقًا And confirming لِّمَا that which بَيْنَ (was) يَدَىَّ before me مِنَ of ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ the Taurat, وَلِأُحِلَّ and so that I make lawful لَكُم for you بَعْضَ some ٱلَّذِى (of) that which حُرِّمَ was forbidden عَلَيْكُمْ to you. وَجِئْتُكُم And I (have) come to you بِـَٔايَةٍ with a sign مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَأَطِيعُونِ and obey me.
English - And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me. .
हिंदी - 50 और सच्चा बताने वाला हूँ तौरात को जो मुझसे पहले की है, और ताकि तुम्हारे लिए कुछ हलाल कर दूँ जो तुम पर हराम थीं और मैं तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से निशानी ले कर आया हूँ, तो अल्लाह से डरो और मेरी बात मानो।.
Ayah 51
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah رَبِّى (is) my Lord وَرَبُّكُمْ and your Lord, فَٱعْبُدُوهُ so worship Him. هَٰذَا This صِرَٰطٌ (is) the path مُّسْتَقِيمٌ straight."
English - Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path." .
हिंदी - 51 बेशक अल्लाह मेरा और तुम्हारा पालनहार है तो उस की पूजा करो, यह सीधा रास्ता है।.
Ayah 52
فَلَمَّآ Then when أَحَسَّ perceived عِيسَىٰ Isa مِنْهُمُ from them ٱلْكُفْرَ [the] disbelief قَالَ he said, مَنْ "Who أَنصَارِىٓ (will be) my helpers إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah." قَالَ Said ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ the disciples نَحْنُ "We أَنصَارُ (will be the) helpers ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ءَامَنَّا we believe[d] بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱشْهَدْ and bear witness بِأَنَّا that we مُسْلِمُونَ (are) Muslims.
English - But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]. .
हिंदी - 52 तो जब ईसा ने उन लोगों से कुफ्ऱ महसूस किया। कहा, “अल्लाह के लिए कौन मेरा मददगार है”? हवारियों (साथियों) ने कहा की हम अल्लाह के मददगार हैं। हम अल्लाह पर इमान लाए और तुम गवाह रहो, बेशक हम मुसलमान हैं।.
Ayah 53
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord, ءَامَنَّا we believe[d] بِمَآ in what أَنزَلْتَ You revealed وَٱتَّبَعْنَا and we follow[ed] ٱلرَّسُولَ the Messenger, فَٱكْتُبْنَا then write us مَعَ among ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ the witnesses."
English - Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger [Jesus], so register us among the witnesses [to truth]." .
हिंदी - 53 ऐ हमरे रब हम इमान लाए उस पर जो तू ने उतारा और हम ने रसूल की पैरवी की, तो हमें गवाही देने वालों में लिख ले।.
Ayah 54
وَمَكَرُوا۟ And they schemed, وَمَكَرَ and planned ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَيْرُ (is the) best ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ (of) the planners.
English - And they [i.e. the disbelievers] planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners. .
हिंदी - 54 और उन्होंने चाल चली और अल्लाह ने चाल चली और अल्लाह बेहतरीन चाल चलने वाला है।.
Ayah 55
إِذْ When قَالَ said ٱللَّهُ Allah يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ "O Isa! إِنِّى Indeed, I مُتَوَفِّيكَ (will) take you وَرَافِعُكَ and raise you إِلَىَّ to Myself وَمُطَهِّرُكَ and purify you مِنَ from ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d], وَجَاعِلُ and I will make ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّبَعُوكَ follow[ed] you فَوْقَ superior ٱلَّذِينَ (to) those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve[d] إِلَىٰ on يَوْمِ (the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) [the] Resurrection. ثُمَّ Then إِلَىَّ to Me مَرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return فَأَحْكُمُ and I will judge بَيْنَكُمْ between you فِيمَا about what كُنتُمْ you were فِيهِ [in it] تَخْتَلِفُونَ differing.
English - [Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify [i.e. free] you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. .
हिंदी - 55 जब कहा अल्लाह ने, “ऐ ईसा, बेशक मैं तुम्हें पूरा करने वाला हूँ (तम्हारी ज़िंदगी को) और तुम को अपनी तरफ़ उठाने वाला हूँ और तुम्हें पाक करदूंगा उन लोगों से जिन्होंने इंकार किया और क़यामत के दिन तक उन लोगों को जिन्होंने तुम्हारी पैरवी की उन लोगों के उपर बनाऊँगा जिन्होंने इंकार किया, फिर मेरी तरफ़ तुम्हें लौटना है फिर मैं फ़ैसला करूँगा तुम्हारे बीच उस में जिस में तुम झगड़ते थे”।.
Ayah 56
فَأَمَّا Then as for ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d], فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ then I will punish them عَذَابًا (with) a punishment شَدِيدًا severe فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ and (in) the Hereafter. وَمَا And not لَهُم for them مِّن any نَّٰصِرِينَ helpers.
English - And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers." .
हिंदी - 56 फिर वह लोग जिन्होंने इंकार किया तो मैं उन्हें अज़ाब दूंगा, भयानक अज़ाब दुनिया और आख़िरत में और उन का कोई मददगार नहीं होगा।.
Ayah 57
وَأَمَّا And as for ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d] وَعَمِلُوا۟ and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ [the] righteous deeds فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ then He will grant them in full أُجُورَهُمْ their reward. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ love ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - 57 और जो ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने नेक काम किए उन्हंे उन का बदला दिया जाएगा और अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को पसंद नहीं करता।.
Ayah 58
ذَٰلِكَ That نَتْلُوهُ (is what) We recite [it] عَلَيْكَ to you مِنَ of ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Verses وَٱلذِّكْرِ and the Reminder - ٱلْحَكِيمِ [the] Wise.
English - This is what We recite to you, [O Muhammad], of [Our] verses and the precise [and wise] message [i.e. the Qu’ran]. .
हिंदी - 58 यह हम तुम पर पढ़ते हैं आयतों से और समझ वाली याददिहानी से।.
Ayah 59
إِنَّ Indeed, مَثَلَ (the) likeness عِيسَىٰ (of) Isa عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah كَمَثَلِ (is) like (the) likeness ءَادَمَ (of) Adam. خَلَقَهُۥ He created him مِن from تُرَابٍ dust ثُمَّ then قَالَ He said لَهُۥ to him, كُن "Be," فَيَكُونُ and he was.
English - Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was. .
हिंदी - 59 बेशक ईसा की मिसाल अल्लाह के पास आदम की तरह है, उसे पैदा किया मिट्टी से फ़िर उस से कहा, “हो जा” तो वह हो गया।.
Ayah 60
ٱلْحَقُّ The truth مِن (is) from رَّبِّكَ your Lord, فَلَا so (do) not تَكُن be مِّنَ among ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ the doubters.
English - The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. .
हिंदी - 60 हक़ तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से है तो तुम शक करने वालों में से न हो।.
Ayah 61
فَمَنْ Then whoever حَآجَّكَ argues (with) you فِيهِ concerning it مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after مَا what جَآءَكَ came to you مِنَ of ٱلْعِلْمِ the knowledge فَقُلْ then say, تَعَالَوْا۟ "Come, نَدْعُ let us call أَبْنَآءَنَا our sons وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ and your sons, وَنِسَآءَنَا and our women وَنِسَآءَكُمْ and your women, وَأَنفُسَنَا and ourselves وَأَنفُسَكُمْ and yourselves, ثُمَّ then نَبْتَهِلْ let us pray humbly, فَنَجْعَل and [we] invoke لَّعْنَتَ the curse ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَى on ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ the liars.
English - Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you – say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]." .
हिंदी - 61 तो जो तुम से उस में झगड़े इस के बाद कि तुम्हारे पास इल्म आ चुका, तो कहो, आओ हम अपने बेटे और तुम्हारे बेटे और अपनी औरतें और तुम्हारी औरतें और अपनी जानें और तुम्हारी जानों को बुलाएं, फिर हम दुआ (मुबाहला) करें और अल्लाह की लानत डालें झूटे लोगांे पर।.
Ayah 62
إِنَّ Indeed هَٰذَا this, لَهُوَ surely it (is) ٱلْقَصَصُ the narration - ٱلْحَقُّ [the] true. وَمَا And (there is) no مِنْ (of) إِلَٰهٍ god إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, لَهُوَ surely He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise.
English - Indeed, this is the true narration. And there is no deity except Allah. And indeed, Allah is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - 62 बेशक यही सच्ची कहानी है और नहीं है कोई पूज्य मगर अल्लाह और बेशक अल्लाह, वही ज़बरदसत, हिकमत वाला है।.
Ayah 63
فَإِن And if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn back, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knowing, بِٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ of the corrupters.
English - But if they turn away, then indeed – Allah is Knowing of the corrupters. .
हिंदी - 63 तो अगर यह लोग फिर जाएं तो बेशक अल्लाह बिगाड़ पैदा करने वालों को ख़ूब जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 64
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَهْلَ "O People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book! تَعَالَوْا۟ Come إِلَىٰ to كَلِمَةٍ a word سَوَآءٍۭ equitable بَيْنَنَا between us وَبَيْنَكُمْ and between you - أَلَّا that not نَعْبُدَ we worship إِلَّا except ٱللَّهَ Allah, وَلَا and not نُشْرِكَ we associate partners بِهِۦ with Him - شَيْـًٔا anything وَلَا and not يَتَّخِذَ take بَعْضُنَا some of us بَعْضًا (to) others أَرْبَابًا (as) lords مِّن from دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah." فَإِن Then if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away, فَقُولُوا۟ then say, ٱشْهَدُوا۟ "Bear witness بِأَنَّا that we مُسْلِمُونَ (are) Muslims."
English - Say, “O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you – that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]." .
हिंदी - 64 कहो, ऐ किताब वालो! आओ एक बात की तरफ़ जो हमारे और तुम्हारे बीच बराबर है कि हम इबादत नहीं करेंगे मगर अल्लाह की और हम उस के साथ किसी को साझी नहीं ठहराएंगे और ना ही हम में से कोई किसी को रब बनाए अल्लाह के सिवा, फिर अगर वह पलट जाएं तो कह दो कि गवाह रहो, बेशक हम मुसलमान हैं।.
Ayah 65
يَٰٓأَهْلَ O People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book! لِمَ Why تُحَآجُّونَ (do) you argue فِىٓ concerning إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim وَمَآ while not أُنزِلَتِ was revealed ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ the Taurat وَٱلْإِنجِيلُ and the Injeel إِلَّا except مِنۢ from بَعْدِهِۦٓ after him? أَفَلَا Then why don't تَعْقِلُونَ you use your intellect?
English - O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason? .
हिंदी - 65 ऐ किताब वालो, इब्राहीम के बारे में क्यों झगड़ते हो जबकी तौरात और इंजील नहीं उतरी मगर उस के बाद, क्या तुम समझते नहीं।.
Ayah 66
هَٰٓأَنتُمْ Here you are - هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ those who حَٰجَجْتُمْ argued فِيمَا about what لَكُم [for] you بِهِۦ of it عِلْمٌ (have some) knowledge. فَلِمَ Then why تُحَآجُّونَ (do) you argue فِيمَا about what لَيْسَ not لَكُم for you بِهِۦ of it عِلْمٌ (any) knowledge. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَعْلَمُ knows, وَأَنتُمْ while you لَا (do) not تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Here you are – those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows, while you know not. .
हिंदी - 66 सूनो तुम वही हो, तुम लोग झगड़ चुके उस में जिस में तुम्हें ख़बर थी अब तुम क्यों झगड़ते हो उस में जिस में तुम्हें कुझ ख़बर नहीं है और अल्लाह जानता है और तुम नहीं जानते।.
Ayah 67
مَا Not كَانَ was إِبْرَٰهِيمُ Ibrahim يَهُودِيًّا a Jew وَلَا and not نَصْرَانِيًّا a Christian وَلَٰكِن [and] but كَانَ he was حَنِيفًا a true مُّسْلِمًا Muslim, وَمَا and not كَانَ he was مِنَ from ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists.
English - Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists. .
हिंदी - 67 इब्राहीम ना यहूदी थे और ना ईसाई, लेकिन वह सीधे रास्ते वाले मुसलमान थे और वह साझी ठहराने वालों में से नहीं थे।.
Ayah 68
إِنَّ Indeed, أَوْلَى the best to claim relationship ٱلنَّاسِ (of) people بِإِبْرَٰهِيمَ with Ibrahim لَلَّذِينَ (are) those who ٱتَّبَعُوهُ follow him وَهَٰذَا and this ٱلنَّبِىُّ [the] Prophet وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d]. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah وَلِىُّ (is) a Guardian ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (of) the believers.
English - Indeed, the most worthy of Abraham among the people are those who followed him [in submission to Allah] and this prophet, and those who believe [in his message]. And Allah is the ally of the believers. .
हिंदी - 68 बेशक इब्रराहीम से सब से ज़्यादा क़रीब वह लोग थे जिन्होंने उन की पैरवी की और यह नबी और जो लोग इमान लाए, और अल्लाह इमान वालों का दोस्त है।.
Ayah 69
وَدَّت Wished طَّآئِفَةٌ a group مِّنْ from أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book لَوْ if يُضِلُّونَكُمْ they could lead you astray, وَمَا and not يُضِلُّونَ they lead astray إِلَّآ except أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves وَمَا and not يَشْعُرُونَ they perceive.
English - A faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not. .
हिंदी - 69 किताब वालों में एक गिरोह यह पसंद करता है कि काश वह तुम्हें गुमराह कर सके और यह गुमराह नहीं करते मगर अपने आप को और वह समझते नहीं।.
Ayah 70
يَٰٓأَهْلَ O People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book! لِمَ Why do تَكْفُرُونَ you deny بِـَٔايَٰتِ [in] the Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَأَنتُمْ while you تَشْهَدُونَ bear witness?
English - O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while you witness [to their truth]? .
हिंदी - 70 ऐ किताब वालो तुम अल्लाह की निशानियों का इंकार क्यों करते हो जबकि तुम गवाह को।.
Ayah 71
يَٰٓأَهْلَ O People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book! لِمَ Why تَلْبِسُونَ do you mix ٱلْحَقَّ the truth بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ with the falsehood وَتَكْتُمُونَ and conceal ٱلْحَقَّ the truth وَأَنتُمْ while you تَعْلَمُونَ know?
English - O People of the Scripture, why do you mix [i.e. confuse] the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know [it]? .
हिंदी - 71 ऐ किताब वालो तुम क्यों सच में झूट को मिलाते हो और सच को छिपाते हो जानते हुए।.
Ayah 72
وَقَالَت And said طَّآئِفَةٌ a group مِّنْ of أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book, ءَامِنُوا۟ "Believe بِٱلَّذِىٓ in what أُنزِلَ was revealed عَلَى on ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d] وَجْهَ (at the) beginning ٱلنَّهَارِ (of) the day, وَٱكْفُرُوٓا۟ and reject ءَاخِرَهُۥ (at) its end, لَعَلَّهُمْ perhaps they may يَرْجِعُونَ return.
English - And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will return [i.e. abandon their religion], .
हिंदी - 72 और किताब वालों में से एक गिरोह ने कहा, ईमान लेते आओ दिन के शुरू में उस पर जो ईमान वालों पर उतरा है और उस के आख़िर में इंकार कर दिया करो, ताकि वह लौट आएं।.
Ayah 73
وَلَا And (do) not تُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ believe إِلَّا except لِمَن (the one) who تَبِعَ follows دِينَكُمْ your religion." قُلْ Say, إِنَّ "Indeed ٱلْهُدَىٰ the (true) guidance هُدَى (is the) Guidance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah - أَن lest يُؤْتَىٰٓ is given أَحَدٌ (to) one - مِّثْلَ (the) like مَآ (of) what أُوتِيتُمْ was given to you أَوْ or يُحَآجُّوكُمْ they may argue with you عِندَ near رَبِّكُمْ your Lord." قُلْ Say, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْفَضْلَ the Bounty بِيَدِ (is) in the Hand ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. يُؤْتِيهِ He gives it مَن (to) whom يَشَآءُ He wills, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah وَٰسِعٌ (is) All-Encompassing, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing."
English - And do not trust except those who follow your religion." Say, “Indeed, the [true] guidance is the guidance of Allah. [Do you fear] lest someone be given [knowledge] like you were given or that they would [thereby] argue with you before your Lord?" Say, “Indeed, [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah – He grants it to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Wise." .
हिंदी - 73 और ईमान न लाओ किसी पर मगर उस पर जो तुम्हारे दीन की पैरवी करे। कह दो, बेशक हिदायत अल्लाह कि हिदायत है। अगर किसी को दिया गया उसी तरह जैसा तुम को दिया गया या वह तुम से तुम्हारे रब के पास बहस करें, कह दो, बेशक फ़ज़्ल (उदार) अल्लाह के हाथ में है जिसे चाहता है देता है और अल्लाह गुंजाइश वाला, जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 74
يَخْتَصُّ He chooses بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ for His Mercy مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is) the Possessor ٱلْفَضْلِ (of) Bounty - ٱلْعَظِيمِ [the] great.
English - He selects for His mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty. .
हिंदी - 74 ख़ास करता है अपनी रहमत को जिस पर चाहता है और अल्लाह बड़ा फ़ज़्ल वाला है।.
Ayah 75
وَمِنْ And from أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book مَنْ (is he) who, إِن if تَأْمَنْهُ you entrust him بِقِنطَارٍ with a great amount of wealth يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ he will return it إِلَيْكَ to you. وَمِنْهُم And from them مَّنْ (is he) who, إِن if تَأْمَنْهُ you entrust him بِدِينَارٍ with a single coin لَّا not يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ he will return it إِلَيْكَ to you إِلَّا except مَا that دُمْتَ you keep constantly عَلَيْهِ over him قَآئِمًا standing. ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they قَالُوا۟ said, لَيْسَ "Not عَلَيْنَا on us فِى concerning ٱلْأُمِّيِّۦنَ the unlettered people سَبِيلٌ any [way] (accountability)." وَيَقُولُونَ And they say عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie وَهُمْ while they يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] silver coin, he will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, "There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned." And they speak untruth about Allah while they know [it]. .
हिंदी - 75 और किताब वालों में से कुछ ऐसे हैं अगर तुम उन के पास एक ढेर आमानत में रख दो तो उसे तुम्हारी तरफ़ लौटा देंगे और उन में से कछ ऐसे हैं अगर तुम उन्हें एक दीनार अमानत में दो तो वह तुम्हें नहीं लौटाऐंगे मगर यह कि तुम उस पर बराबर खड़े रहो, यह इसलिए है कि वह कहते हैं कि हम पर उनपढ़ों के बारे में कोई गुनाह नहीं और वह अल्लाह पर झूट बोलते हैं इस हाल में कि वह जानते हैं।.
Ayah 76
بَلَىٰ Nay, مَنْ whoever أَوْفَىٰ fulfills بِعَهْدِهِۦ his covenant وَٱتَّقَىٰ and fears (Allah), فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ those who fear (Him).
English - But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah – then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him. .
हिंदी - 76 हाँ जो अपने वादे को पूरा करे और डरे तो बेशक अल्लाह डरने वालों को पसंद करता है।.
Ayah 77
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَشْتَرُونَ exchange بِعَهْدِ (the) Covenant ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَأَيْمَٰنِهِمْ and their oaths ثَمَنًا (for) a price قَلِيلًا little, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those - لَا no خَلَٰقَ share لَهُمْ for them فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter وَلَا and not يُكَلِّمُهُمُ will speak to them ٱللَّهُ Allah, وَلَا and not يَنظُرُ look إِلَيْهِمْ at them يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection وَلَا and not يُزَكِّيهِمْ purify them, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their [own] oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - 77 बेशक जो लोग अल्लाह के वादे को और अपनी क़समों को थोड़ी सी क़ीमत पर बेच देते हैं, उन का आख़िरत मंे कुछ हिस्सा नहीं और क़यामत के दिन अल्लाह उन से बात नहीं करेगा और ना ही उन की तरफ़ देखेगा और ना ही उन्हें पाक करेगा और उन के लिए भयानक अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 78
وَإِنَّ And indeed, مِنْهُمْ among them لَفَرِيقًا surely (is) a group - يَلْوُۥنَ they distort أَلْسِنَتَهُم their tongues بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ in (reciting) the Book لِتَحْسَبُوهُ so that you may think it مِنَ (is) from ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Book وَمَا and not هُوَ it مِنَ (is) from ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Book. وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, هُوَ "It مِنْ (is) عِندِ from ٱللَّهِ Allah." وَمَا But not هُوَ it مِنْ (is) عِندِ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَيَقُولُونَ And they say عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie وَهُمْ while they يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, "This is from Allah," but it is not from Allah. And they speak untruth about Allah while they know. .
हिंदी - 78 और उन में से कुछ ऐसे हैं जो किताब को अपनी ज़बान मरोड़ कर पढ़ते हैं ताकि तुम उस को किताब समझो जबकि वह किताब नहीं है और वह कहते हैं कि वह अल्लाह की तरफ़ से है, जबकि वह अल्लाह की तरफ़ से नहीं है और वह अल्लाह पर झूठ कहते हैं और वह जानते हैं।.
Ayah 79
مَا Not كَانَ is لِبَشَرٍ for a human أَن that يُؤْتِيَهُ gives him ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book, وَٱلْحُكْمَ and the wisdom, وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ and the Prophethood, ثُمَّ then يَقُولَ he says لِلنَّاسِ to the people, كُونُوا۟ "Be عِبَادًا worshippers لِّى of me مِن from دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah, وَلَٰكِن but (would say) كُونُوا۟ "Be رَبَّٰنِيِّۦنَ worshippers of the Lord بِمَا because كُنتُمْ you have been تُعَلِّمُونَ teaching ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book وَبِمَا and because كُنتُمْ you have been تَدْرُسُونَ studying (it)."
English - It is not for a human [prophet] that Allah should give him the Scripture and authority and prophethood and then he would say to the people, "Be servants to me rather than Allah," but [instead, he would say], "Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have taught of the Scripture and because of what you have studied." .
हिंदी - 79 किसी आदमी के लिए यह नहीं कि उसे अल्लाह किताब और समझ और पैग़मबरी दे फिर वह लोगों से कहे कि तुम मेरे बंदे हो जाओ अल्लाह को छोड़ कर, लेकिन तुम अल्लाह वाले होजाओ जैसा तुम किताब को पढ़ाते थे और जैसा तुम उस को पढ़ते थे।.
Ayah 80
وَلَا And not يَأْمُرَكُمْ he will order you أَن that تَتَّخِذُوا۟ you take ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ the Angels, وَٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ and the Prophets أَرْبَابًا (as) lords. أَيَأْمُرُكُم Would he order you بِٱلْكُفْرِ to [the] disbelief بَعْدَ after إِذْ [when] أَنتُم you (have become) مُّسْلِمُونَ Muslims?
English - Nor could he order you to take the angels and prophets as lords. Would he order you to disbelief after you had been Muslims? .
हिंदी - 80 और ना ही तुम्हें हुक्म देता है कि तुम फ़रिशतों और नबियों को रब बना लो, क्या वह तुम्हें कुफ्ऱ का हुक्म देगा इस के बाद कि तुम मुसलमान हो जाओ?.
Ayah 81
وَإِذْ And when أَخَذَ took ٱللَّهُ Allah مِيثَٰقَ covenant ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ (of) the Prophets, لَمَآ "Certainly, whatever ءَاتَيْتُكُم I (have) given you مِّن of كِتَٰبٍ (the) Book وَحِكْمَةٍ and wisdom ثُمَّ then جَآءَكُمْ comes to you رَسُولٌ a Messenger مُّصَدِّقٌ confirming لِّمَا that which مَعَكُمْ (is) with you, لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ you must believe بِهِۦ in him وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ and you must help him." قَالَ He said, ءَأَقْرَرْتُمْ "Do you affirm وَأَخَذْتُمْ and take عَلَىٰ on ذَٰلِكُمْ that (condition) إِصْرِى My Covenant?" قَالُوٓا۟ They said, أَقْرَرْنَا "We affirm." قَالَ He said, فَٱشْهَدُوا۟ "Then bear witness, وَأَنَا۠ and I (am) مَعَكُم with you مِّنَ among ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ the witnesses."
English - And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [Allah] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." .
हिंदी - 81 और जब अल्लाह ने नबियों से वादा लिया कि जब मैं तुम्हें किताब और समझ दूंगा फिर तुम्हारे पास कोई रसूल आए जो सच्चा बताए उसे जो जुम्हारे पास है, तो तुम ज़रूर उस पर ईमान लाना और जरूर उस की मदद करना। कहा, क्या तुम इक़रार करते हो और मेरा वादा क़बूल करते हो, वह बोले हम इक़रार करते हैं। कहा, गवाह रहो और मैं तुम्हारे साथ गवाहोें में से हूँ।.
Ayah 82
فَمَن Then whoever تَوَلَّىٰ turns away بَعْدَ after ذَٰلِكَ that, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those هُمُ they ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ (are) the defiantly disobedient.
English - And whoever turned away after that – they were the defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - 82 फिर जो कोई उस के बाद फिर जाए तो वही लोग नाफ़रमान हैं।.
Ayah 83
أَفَغَيْرَ So is (it) other than دِينِ (the) religion ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah يَبْغُونَ they seek? وَلَهُۥٓ While to Him أَسْلَمَ (have) submitted مَن whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, طَوْعًا willingly وَكَرْهًا or unwillingly, وَإِلَيْهِ and towards Him يُرْجَعُونَ they will be returned.
English - So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned? .
हिंदी - 83 क्या वह तलाश कर रहे हैं अल्लाह के दीन के सिवा जबकि जो आसमान और ज़मीन में है, ख़ुशी से या ज़बरदस्ती से उसी के लिए झुकने वाले हैं और उसी की तरफ़ लौटाए जाएंगे।.
Ayah 84
قُلْ Say, ءَامَنَّا "We believed بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَمَآ and what أُنزِلَ (is) revealed عَلَيْنَا on us وَمَآ and what أُنزِلَ was revealed عَلَىٰٓ on إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim, وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ and Ishmael, وَإِسْحَٰقَ and Isaac, وَيَعْقُوبَ and Yaqub, وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ and the descendents وَمَآ and what أُوتِىَ was given مُوسَىٰ (to) Musa, وَعِيسَىٰ and Isa, وَٱلنَّبِيُّونَ and the Prophets مِن from رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord. لَا Not نُفَرِّقُ we make distinction بَيْنَ between أَحَدٍ any مِّنْهُمْ of them وَنَحْنُ and we لَهُۥ to Him مُسْلِمُونَ (are) submissive.
English - Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him." .
हिंदी - 84 कहो कि हम ईमान लाए अल्लाह पर और जो हम पर उतारा गया और जो इब्राहीम और इसमाईल और इस्हाक़ और याक़ूब और (उनकी) औलादों पर उतारा गया और जो मूसा और ईसा को दिया गया और जो नबियों को उन के रब की तरफ़ से दिया गया, हम उन में से किसी के बीच फ़र्क़ नहीं करते और हम उस के लिए फ़रमांबरदार हैं।.
Ayah 85
وَمَن And whoever يَبْتَغِ seeks غَيْرَ other than ٱلْإِسْلَٰمِ [the] Islam دِينًا (as) religion فَلَن then never يُقْبَلَ will be accepted مِنْهُ from him, وَهُوَ and he فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter, مِنَ (will be) from ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ the losers.
English - And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers. .
हिंदी - 85 और जो कोई इसलाम के सिवा किसी और दीन को तलाश करेगा तो वह उस से हरगिज़ क़ुबूल नहीं किया जाएगा और वह आख़िरत में घाटा उठाने वालों में से होगा।.
Ayah 86
كَيْفَ How يَهْدِى (shall) guide ٱللَّهُ Allah قَوْمًا a people كَفَرُوا۟ (who) disbelieved بَعْدَ after إِيمَٰنِهِمْ their belief وَشَهِدُوٓا۟ and (had) witnessed أَنَّ that ٱلرَّسُولَ the Messenger حَقٌّ (is) true, وَجَآءَهُمُ and came to them ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ the clear proofs? وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ [the] wrongdoers.
English - How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true and clear signs had come to them? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. .
हिंदी - 86 अल्लाह ऐसी क़ौम को कैसे हिदायत देगा जिसने अपने ईमान लाने के बाद इंकार किया और गवाही दे चुके हैं कि बेशक रसूल हक़ हैं और उन के पास साफ़ दलीलें आई हैं और अल्लाह ज़ालिम क़ौमो को हिदायत नहीं देता।.
Ayah 87
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - جَزَآؤُهُمْ their recompense, أَنَّ that عَلَيْهِمْ on them لَعْنَةَ (is the) curse ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ and the Angels وَٱلنَّاسِ and the people أَجْمَعِينَ all together.
English - Those – their recompense will be that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all together, .
हिंदी - 87 यह लोग, इन की सज़ा यह है कि बेशक इन पर अल्लाह और फ़रिशते और सब लोगों की लानत है।.
Ayah 88
خَٰلِدِينَ (They will) abide forever فِيهَا in it. لَا Not يُخَفَّفُ will be lightened عَنْهُمُ for them ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُنظَرُونَ will be reprieved.
English - Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. .
हिंदी - 88 उस में हमेशा रहेंगे, उन से अज़ाब हलका न किया जाएगा और ना ही उन को मोहलत दी जाएगी।.
Ayah 89
إِلَّا Except ٱلَّذِينَ those who تَابُوا۟ repent مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after ذَٰلِكَ that, وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ and reform[ed] themselves. فَإِنَّ Then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - 89 मगर जिन्होंने उस के बाद तौबा की और सुधार किया तो बेशक अल्लाह माफ़ करने वाला, रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 90
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved بَعْدَ after إِيمَٰنِهِمْ their belief ثُمَّ then ٱزْدَادُوا۟ they increased كُفْرًا (in) disbelief لَّن never تُقْبَلَ will be accepted تَوْبَتُهُمْ their repentance, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those - هُمُ they ٱلضَّآلُّونَ (are) those who have gone astray.
English - Indeed, those who reject the message after their belief and then increase in disbelief – never will their [claimed] repentance be accepted, and they are the ones astray. .
हिंदी - 90 बेशक जिन लोगों ने अपने ईमान लाने के बाद इंकार किया फिर इ़ंकार में बढ़ते गऐ, उन की तौबा हरगिज़ क़ुबूल नहीं की जाएगी और वही लोग गुमराह हैं।.
Ayah 91
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d] وَمَاتُوا۟ and died وَهُمْ while they كُفَّارٌ (are) disbelievers, فَلَن then never يُقْبَلَ will be accepted مِنْ from أَحَدِهِم any one of them مِّلْءُ full ٱلْأَرْضِ earth ذَهَبًا (of) gold وَلَوِ [and] (even) if ٱفْتَدَىٰ he offered as ransom بِهِۦٓ it. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful وَمَا and not لَهُم (will be) for them مِّن any نَّٰصِرِينَ helpers.
English - Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers – never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would [seek to] ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. .
हिंदी - 91 बेशक जिन लोगों ने इंकार किया और कुफ्ऱ की हालत ही में मर गए तो उन में से किसी से ज़मीन भर सोना भी क़ुबूल नहीं किया जाएगा अगर वह उसे बदले (फ़िदया) में दें। यही लोग हैं, उन के लिए भयानक अज़ाब है और उन के लिए कोई मददगार नहीं होगा।.
Ayah 92
لَن Never تَنَالُوا۟ will you attain ٱلْبِرَّ [the] righteousness حَتَّىٰ until تُنفِقُوا۟ you spend مِمَّا from what تُحِبُّونَ you love. وَمَا And whatever تُنفِقُوا۟ you spend مِن of شَىْءٍ a thing فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِهِۦ of it عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knowing.
English - Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. .
हिंदी - 92 तुम हरगिज़ नेकी को नहीं पा सकते यहाँ तक कि तुम ख़र्च करो उस में से जो तुम पसंद करते हो और जो कुछ तुम ख़र्च करते हो तो बेशक अल्लाह उसे जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 93
كُلُّ All ٱلطَّعَامِ [the] food كَانَ was حِلًّا lawful لِّبَنِىٓ for (the) Children إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (of) Israel إِلَّا except مَا what حَرَّمَ made unlawful إِسْرَٰٓءِيلُ Israel عَلَىٰ upon نَفْسِهِۦ himself مِن from قَبْلِ before أَن [that] تُنَزَّلَ (was) revealed ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ the Taurat. قُلْ Say, فَأْتُوا۟ "So bring بِٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ the Taurat فَٱتْلُوهَآ and recite it إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful."
English - All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], "So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful." .
हिंदी - 93 हर खाना इसराईल की औलाद के लिए हलाल था मगर जो “इसराईल” ने अपने ऊपर हराम कर लिया था इस से पहले कि तौरात उतारी जाती। कहो, तौरात को लाओ और उसे पढ़ो अगर तुम सच्चे हो।.
Ayah 94
فَمَنِ Then whoever ٱفْتَرَىٰ fabricates عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ [the] lie مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after ذَٰلِكَ that, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those - هُمُ they ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ (are) the wrongdoers.
English - And whoever invents about Allah untruth after that – then those are [truly] the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - 94 तो जो कोई उस के बाद अल्लाह पर झूठ बांधे तो वही लोग ज़ालिम हैं।.
Ayah 95
قُلْ Say, صَدَقَ (has) spoken the truth ٱللَّهُ Allah, فَٱتَّبِعُوا۟ then follow مِلَّةَ (the) religion إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim حَنِيفًا (the) upright, وَمَا and not كَانَ he was مِنَ of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists.
English - Say, "Allah has told the truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists." .
हिंदी - 95 कहो कि अल्लाह ने सच कहा, तो इब्राहीम के दीन की पैरवी करो जो सीधे रास्ते पर था और साझी ठहराने वालों में से नहीं था।.
Ayah 96
إِنَّ Indeed, أَوَّلَ (the) First بَيْتٍ House وُضِعَ set up لِلنَّاسِ for the mankind لَلَّذِى (is) the one which بِبَكَّةَ (is) at Bakkah, مُبَارَكًا blessed وَهُدًى and a guidance لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ for the worlds.
English - Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah – blessed and a guidance for the worlds. .
हिंदी - 96 बेशक पहला घर जो लोगों के लिए बनाया गया था जो मक्का में बरकत वाला है और लोगों के लिए हिदायत है।.
Ayah 97
فِيهِ In it ءَايَٰتٌۢ (are) signs بَيِّنَٰتٌ clear, مَّقَامُ standing place إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim, وَمَن and whoever دَخَلَهُۥ enters it - كَانَ is ءَامِنًا safe. وَلِلَّهِ And (due) to Allah عَلَى upon ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind حِجُّ (is) pilgrimage ٱلْبَيْتِ (of) the House مَنِ (for one) who ٱسْتَطَاعَ is able إِلَيْهِ to [it] سَبِيلًا (find) a way. وَمَن And whoever كَفَرَ disbelieved فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَنِىٌّ (is) free from need عَنِ of ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ the universe.
English - In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves – then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. .
हिंदी - 97 उस में रौशन निशनियाँ हैं (मक़ामे इब्राहीम) इब्राहीम के खड़े होने की जगह है और जो उस के अंदर आया उस को अमन मिला और अल्लाह के लिए लोगों पर उस घर का हज है, जो उस की तरफ़ जाने की ताकत रखे और जिस ने इंकार किया तो बेशक अल्लाह सारे जहान से बेपरवाह है।.
Ayah 98
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَهْلَ "O People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book! لِمَ Why تَكْفُرُونَ (do) you disbelieve بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَٱللَّهُ while Allah شَهِيدٌ (is) a Witness عَلَىٰ over مَا what تَعْمَلُونَ you do?"
English - Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while Allah is Witness over what you do?" .
हिंदी - 98 कहो, ऐ किताब वालो, तुम क्यों अल्लाह की निशानियों का इंकार करते हो और अल्लाह उस पर गवाह है जो तुम करते हो।.
Ayah 99
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَهْلَ "O People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book! لِمَ Why تَصُدُّونَ (do) you hinder عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah مَنْ (those) who ءَامَنَ believe[d], تَبْغُونَهَا seeking (to make) it عِوَجًا (seem) crooked وَأَنتُمْ while you شُهَدَآءُ (are) witnesses? وَمَا And not ٱللَّهُ Allah بِغَٰفِلٍ (is) unaware عَمَّا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do.
English - Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you avert from the way of Allah those who believe, seeking to make it [seem] deviant, while you are witnesses [to the truth]? And Allah is not unaware of what you do." .
हिंदी - 99 कहो, ऐ किताब वालो, तुम क्यों अल्लाह के रास्ते से रोकते हो ईमान लाने वाले को, तुम उस में टेढ़ ढूंढते हो और जबकि तुम गवाह हो और अल्लाह उस से बेख़बर नहीं जो तुम करते हो।.
Ayah 100
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe[d]! إِن If تُطِيعُوا۟ you obey فَرِيقًا a group مِّنَ from ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book يَرُدُّوكُم they will turn you back بَعْدَ after إِيمَٰنِكُمْ your belief كَٰفِرِينَ (as) disbelievers.
English - O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back, after your belief, [to being] unbelievers. .
हिंदी - 100 ऐ ईमान वालो अगर तुम किताब वालो में से किसी का कहा मानोगे तो वह तुम्हें इमान लाने के बाद काफ़िर बना देंगे।.
Ayah 101
وَكَيْفَ And how (could) تَكْفُرُونَ you disbelieve وَأَنتُمْ while [you] تُتْلَىٰ is recited عَلَيْكُمْ upon you ءَايَٰتُ (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَفِيكُمْ and among you رَسُولُهُۥ (is) His Messenger? وَمَن And whoever يَعْتَصِم holds firmly بِٱللَّهِ to Allah, فَقَدْ then surely هُدِىَ he is guided إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ a path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ straight.
English - And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [indeed] been guided to a straight path. .
हिंदी - 101 और कैसे तुम इंकार करते हो जबकी तुम पर अल्लाह की आयतें पढ़ी जाती हैं और तुम में उस का रसूल है और जो अल्लाह को मज़्ाबूती से पकड़ेगा तो बेशक उसे सीधे रास्ते की तरफ़ हिदायत की गई।.
Ayah 102
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d]! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear ٱللَّهَ Allah حَقَّ (as is His) right تُقَاتِهِۦ (that) He (should) be feared وَلَا and (do) not تَمُوتُنَّ die إِلَّا except وَأَنتُم [while you] مُّسْلِمُونَ (as) Muslims.
English - O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. .
हिंदी - 102 ऐ ईमान वालो, अल्लाह से डरो जैसा कि उस का हक़ है और तुम न मरो मगर इस हाल में कि तुम मुसलमान हो।.
Ayah 103
وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ And hold firmly بِحَبْلِ to (the) rope ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah جَمِيعًا all together وَلَا and (do) not تَفَرَّقُوا۟ be divided. وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ And remember نِعْمَتَ (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَيْكُمْ on you إِذْ when كُنتُمْ you were أَعْدَآءً enemies فَأَلَّفَ then He made friendship بَيْنَ between قُلُوبِكُمْ your hearts فَأَصْبَحْتُم then you became بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ by His Favor إِخْوَٰنًا brothers. وَكُنتُمْ And you were عَلَىٰ on شَفَا (the) brink حُفْرَةٍ (of) pit مِّنَ of ٱلنَّارِ the Fire فَأَنقَذَكُم then He saved you مِّنْهَا from it. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُبَيِّنُ makes clear ٱللَّهُ Allah لَكُمْ for you ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Verses لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَهْتَدُونَ (be) guided.
English - And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided. .
हिंदी - 103 एक साथ अल्लाह की रस्सी को मज़बूजी से पकड़ो और अलग अलग न हो और अपने ऊपर अल्लाह के एहसान को याद करो, जब तुम दुश्मन थे तो तुम्हारे बीच मोहब्बत पैदा की तो तुम उस की मेहरबानी से भाई हो गए और तुम आग के गढे़ के किनारे पर थे तो तम्हें उस से बचा लिया। इसी तरह अल्लाह तुम्हारे लिए अपनी निशानियों को बयान करता है ताकि तुम हिदायत पाजाओ।.
Ayah 104
وَلْتَكُن And let there be مِّنكُمْ among you أُمَّةٌ [a] people يَدْعُونَ inviting إِلَى to ٱلْخَيْرِ the good وَيَأْمُرُونَ [and] enjoining بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right, وَيَنْهَوْنَ and forbidding عَنِ from ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those - هُمُ they ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ (are) the successful ones.
English - And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful. .
हिंदी - 104 और तुम में एक जमात ऐसी होनी चाहिए जो नेकी की तरफ़ बुलाती रहे और अच्छे कामों का हुक्म करती रहे और बुरे कामों से रोकती रहे और वही लोग कामयाब हैं।.
Ayah 105
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who تَفَرَّقُوا۟ became divided وَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ and differed مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after مَا what جَآءَهُمُ came to them - ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ the clear proofs. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ great.
English - And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment. .
हिंदी - 105 और उन की तरह न हो जाओ जो अलग अलग हो गए और इख़्तिलाफ़ किया इस के बाद की उन के पास खुली दलीर्लें आइं और इन ही लोगों के लिए बड़ा अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 106
يَوْمَ (On the) Day تَبْيَضُّ would become white وُجُوهٌ (some) faces وَتَسْوَدُّ and would become black وُجُوهٌ (some) faces. فَأَمَّا As for ٱلَّذِينَ those whose ٱسْوَدَّتْ turn black وُجُوهُهُمْ [their] faces - أَكَفَرْتُم "Did you disbelieve بَعْدَ after إِيمَٰنِكُمْ your belief? فَذُوقُوا۟ Then taste ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used to تَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve."
English - On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject." .
हिंदी - 106 जिस दिन कुछ चहरे सफेद होंगे और कुछ चहरे काले, तो जिन लोगों के चहरे काले हुए, “क्या तुम अपने ईमान लाने के बाद काफ़िर हो गए” तो तुम अज़ाब चख़ो उस के बदले जो तुम इंकार करते थे।.
Ayah 107
وَأَمَّا But as for ٱلَّذِينَ those whose ٱبْيَضَّتْ turn white وُجُوهُهُمْ [their] faces فَفِى then (they will be) in رَحْمَةِ (the) Mercy ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, هُمْ they فِيهَا in it خَٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever.
English - But as for those whose faces will turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of Allah. They will abide therein eternally. .
हिंदी - 107 और जिन के चहरे सफे़द हुए, तो वह अल्लाह की रहमत में होंगे, वह उस में हमेशा रहेंगे।.
Ayah 108
تِلْكَ These ءَايَٰتُ (are the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. نَتْلُوهَا We recite them عَلَيْكَ to you بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth. وَمَا And not ٱللَّهُ Allah يُرِيدُ wants ظُلْمًا injustice لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ to the worlds.
English - These are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and Allah wants no injustice to the worlds. .
हिंदी - 108 यह अल्लाह की आयतें हैं, हम तुम पर हक़ के साथ पढ़ते हैं और अल्लाह दुनिया वालों के लिए ज़्ाुल्म का इरादा नहीं करता।.
Ayah 109
وَلِلَّهِ And to Allah (belongs) مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُرْجَعُ will be returned ٱلْأُمُورُ the matters.
English - To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah will [all] matters be returned. .
हिंदी - 109 और अल्लाह ही के लिए है जो आसमानों में है और जो ज़मीन में है और अल्लाह की तरफ़ सब काम का लौटना है।.
Ayah 110
كُنتُمْ You are خَيْرَ (the) best أُمَّةٍ (of) people أُخْرِجَتْ raised لِلنَّاسِ for the mankind - تَأْمُرُونَ enjoining بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right وَتَنْهَوْنَ and forbidding عَنِ [from] ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong وَتُؤْمِنُونَ and believing بِٱللَّهِ in Allah. وَلَوْ And if ءَامَنَ believed أَهْلُ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book لَكَانَ surely would have been خَيْرًا good لَّهُم for them. مِّنْهُمُ Among them ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ (are) [the] believers, وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ but most of them ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ (are) defiantly disobedient.
English - You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - 110 तुम बहतरीन उम्मत हो, लोगों के लिए निकाले गए हो, अच्छे कामों का हुक्म करते हो और बुरे कामों से मना करते हो और अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हो और अगर किताब वाले ईमान ले आते तो उन के लिए अच्छा था, उन में से कुछ ईमान वाले हैं और उन में से ज़्यादातर नाफ़रमान हैं।.
Ayah 111
لَن Never يَضُرُّوكُمْ will they harm you إِلَّآ except أَذًى a hurt. وَإِن And if يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ they fight you, يُوَلُّوكُمُ they will turn (towards) you ٱلْأَدْبَارَ the backs, ثُمَّ then لَا not يُنصَرُونَ they will be helped.
English - They will not harm you except for [some] annoyance. And if they fight you, they will show you their backs; then they will not be aided. .
हिंदी - 111 यह तुम्हें हरगिज़ नुक़सान नहीं पहुँचाएंगे मगर थोड़ी सी तकलीफ़ और अगर यह तुम से लड़ें तो पीठ फेर कर भाग जाएंगे, फिर उन की मदद नहीं की जाएगी।.
Ayah 112
ضُرِبَتْ Struck عَلَيْهِمُ on them ٱلذِّلَّةُ the humiliation أَيْنَ wherever مَا that ثُقِفُوٓا۟ they are found إِلَّا except بِحَبْلٍ with a rope مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَحَبْلٍ and a rope مِّنَ from ٱلنَّاسِ the people. وَبَآءُو And they incurred بِغَضَبٍ wrath مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَضُرِبَتْ and struck عَلَيْهِمُ on them ٱلْمَسْكَنَةُ the poverty. ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَيَقْتُلُونَ and they killed ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ the Prophets بِغَيْرِ without حَقٍّ right. ذَٰلِكَ That بِمَا (is) because عَصَوا۟ they disobeyed وَّكَانُوا۟ and they used to يَعْتَدُونَ transgress.
English - They have been put under humiliation [by Allah] wherever they are overtaken, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the Muslims. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. .
हिंदी - 112 उन पर ज़िल्लत मार दी गई है जाहाँ भी वह पाए जाएं मगर अल्लाह की रस्सी (मदद) में और लोगों की रस्सी (मदद) में और उन्होंने अल्लाह के ग़्ाुस्से को कमाया और उन पर बेबसी मार दी गई, इसलिए कि वह अल्लाह की आयतों का इंकार करते थे और नबियों को नाहक़ क़त्ल करते रहे, यह इसलिए कि वह नाफ़रमानी करते थे और हद से बढ़ जाते थे।.
Ayah 113
لَيْسُوا۟ They are not سَوَآءً (the) same; مِّنْ among أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book أُمَّةٌ (is) a community قَآئِمَةٌ standing يَتْلُونَ (and) reciting ءَايَٰتِ (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ءَانَآءَ (in the) hours ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night وَهُمْ and they يَسْجُدُونَ prostrate.
English - They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer]. .
हिंदी - 113 यह एक जैसे नहीं हैं, किताब वालों में एक सीधी जमात है जो रात के वक़्त अल्लाह की आयतें पढ़ते हैं और वह सज्दा करते हैं।.
Ayah 114
يُؤْمِنُونَ They believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day ٱلْءَاخِرِ the Last وَيَأْمُرُونَ and they enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ [with] the right وَيَنْهَوْنَ and forbid عَنِ [from] ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong وَيُسَٰرِعُونَ and they hasten فِى in ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ the good deeds. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those مِنَ (are) from ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
English - They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous. .
हिंदी - 114 अल्लाह और आख़िरत के दिन पर ईमान रखते हैं और अच्छे कामों का हुक्म देते हैं और बुरे कामों से मना करते हैं और नेकियों की तरफ़ दौड़ते हैं और यही लोग नेक लोगों में से हैं।.
Ayah 115
وَمَا And whatever يَفْعَلُوا۟ they do مِنْ of خَيْرٍ a good, فَلَن then never يُكْفَرُوهُ will they be denied it. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knowing بِٱلْمُتَّقِينَ of the God-fearing.
English - And whatever good they do – never will it be removed from them. And Allah is Knowing of the righteous. .
हिंदी - 115 और जो भी नेकी करते हैं वह लोग उस से माना नहीं किए जाएंगे और अल्लाह बचने वालों को जानता है।.
Ayah 116
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved, لَن never تُغْنِىَ will avail عَنْهُمْ [for] them أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth وَلَآ and not أَوْلَٰدُهُم their children مِّنَ against ٱللَّهِ Allah شَيْـًٔا anything, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire, هُمْ they فِيهَا in it خَٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever.
English - Indeed, those who disbelieve – never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally. .
हिंदी - 116 बेशक जिन लोगों ने इंकार किया हरगिज़ उन का माल अल्लाह के आगे उन के कुछ काम नहीं आएगा और न ही उन की औलाद और वह लोग आग में हैं, वह उस में हमेशा रहेंगे।.
Ayah 117
مَثَلُ Example مَا (of) what يُنفِقُونَ they spend فِى in هَٰذِهِ this ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ [the] life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world كَمَثَلِ (is) like (the) example رِيحٍ (of) a wind فِيهَا in it صِرٌّ (is) frost, أَصَابَتْ it struck حَرْثَ (the) harvest قَوْمٍ (of) a people ظَلَمُوٓا۟ who wronged أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves, فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ then destroyed it. وَمَا And not ظَلَمَهُمُ (has) wronged them ٱللَّهُ Allah وَلَٰكِنْ [and] but أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves يَظْلِمُونَ they wronged.
English - The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. And Allah has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves. .
हिंदी - 117 उस की मिसाल जो दुनिया की जि़्ांदगी में ख़र्च करते हैं उस हवा की सी है जिस में सख़्त ठंड हो जो ऐसी क़ौम की खेती में लग जाए जिसने अपने ऊपर ज़्ाुल्म किया तो उस को बर्बाद कर दे और अल्लाह ने उन पर ज़्ाुल्म नहीं किया लेकिन वह अपने ऊपर ज़्ाुल्म करते हैं।.
Ayah 118
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d]! لَا (Do) not تَتَّخِذُوا۟ take بِطَانَةً (as) intimates مِّن from دُونِكُمْ other than yourselves, لَا not يَأْلُونَكُمْ they will spare you خَبَالًا (any) ruin. وَدُّوا۟ They wish مَا what عَنِتُّمْ distresses you. قَدْ Indeed, بَدَتِ (has become) apparent ٱلْبَغْضَآءُ the hatred مِنْ from أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ their mouths, وَمَا and what تُخْفِى conceals صُدُورُهُمْ their breasts أَكْبَرُ (is) greater. قَدْ Certainly بَيَّنَّا We made clear لَكُمُ for you ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Verses, إِن if كُنتُمْ you were تَعْقِلُونَ (to use) reason.
English - O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason. .
हिंदी - 118 ऐ इमान वालो, अपने अलावा किसी को दोस्त न बनाओ जो तुम्हें बर्बाद करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ते और चाहते हैं कि तुम्हें तक्लीफ़ पहुंचे, उन के मुंह से दुश्मनी ज़ाहिर हो चुकी है और जो उन के सीने में छिपा है वह ज़्यादा बड़ा है, बेशक हम ने तुम्हारे लिए आयतें बयान कर दी हैं अगर तुम अक़्ल रखते हो।.
Ayah 119
هَٰٓأَنتُمْ Lo! You are أُو۟لَآءِ those, تُحِبُّونَهُمْ you love them وَلَا but not يُحِبُّونَكُمْ they love you وَتُؤْمِنُونَ and you believe بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ in the Book - كُلِّهِۦ all of it. وَإِذَا And when لَقُوكُمْ they meet you قَالُوٓا۟ they say, ءَامَنَّا "We believe." وَإِذَا And when خَلَوْا۟ they are alone عَضُّوا۟ they bite عَلَيْكُمُ at you ٱلْأَنَامِلَ the finger tips مِنَ (out) of ٱلْغَيْظِ [the] rage. قُلْ Say, مُوتُوا۟ "Die بِغَيْظِكُمْ in your rage. إِنَّ Indeed. ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knowing بِذَاتِ of what ٱلصُّدُورِ (is in) the breasts."
English - Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture – all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts." .
हिंदी - 119 सुन लो, तुम उन से मुहब्बत करते हो और वह तुम से मुहब्बत नहीं करते और तुम पूरी किताब पर ईमान रखते हो और जब वह तुम से मिलते हैं तो कहते हैं कि हम ईमान लाए और जब वह अकेले में होते हैं तो तुम पर गुस्से से उंगलियाँ काटते हैं। कह दो तुम अपने गुस्से में मरो, बेशक अल्लाह जानता है जो दिलों में है।.
Ayah 120
إِن If تَمْسَسْكُمْ touches you حَسَنَةٌ a good, تَسُؤْهُمْ it grieves them وَإِن and if تُصِبْكُمْ strikes you سَيِّئَةٌ misfortune, يَفْرَحُوا۟ they rejoice بِهَا at it. وَإِن And if تَصْبِرُوا۟ you are patient وَتَتَّقُوا۟ and fear (Allah), لَا not يَضُرُّكُمْ will harm you كَيْدُهُمْ their plot شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, بِمَا of what يَعْمَلُونَ they do مُحِيطٌ (is) All-Encompassing.
English - If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do. .
हिंदी - 120 अगर तुम्हें कोई अच्छाई पहुंचे तो उन को बुरी लगती है और अगर तुम्हें कोई तकलीफ़ पहुंचे तो उस से ख़ुश होते हैं और अगर तुम सब्र करो और बचते रहो तो तुम्हें उन की चालबाज़ी कुछ नुक़सान नहीं पहुंचाएगी। बेशक अल्लाह घेरे हुए है जो तुम किरते हो।.
Ayah 121
وَإِذْ And when غَدَوْتَ you left early morning مِنْ from أَهْلِكَ your household تُبَوِّئُ to post ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers مَقَٰعِدَ (to take) positions لِلْقِتَالِ for the battle. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearing, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing.
English - And [remember] when you, [O Muhammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle [of Uhud] – and Allah is Hearing and Knowing – .
हिंदी - 121 याद करो, जब तुम अपने घर वालों से सुबह में निकले और ईमान वालों को लड़ाई के ठिकानों पर लगा रहे थे और अल्लाह सुनने वाला और जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 122
إِذْ When هَمَّت inclined طَّآئِفَتَانِ two parties مِنكُمْ among you أَن that تَفْشَلَا they lost heart, وَٱللَّهُ but Allah وَلِيُّهُمَا (was) their protector. وَعَلَى And on ٱللَّهِ Allah فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ let put (their) trust ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers.
English - When two parties among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their ally; and upon Allah the believers should rely. .
हिंदी - 122 जब तुम में से दो गिरोह ने इरादा किया कि वह बुज़्ादिली करें और अल्लाह दोनो का मददगार है तो अल्लाह ही पर ईमान वालों को भरोसा करना चाहिए।.
Ayah 123
وَلَقَدْ And certainly نَصَرَكُمُ helped you ٱللَّهُ Allah بِبَدْرٍ in Badr وَأَنتُمْ while you (were) أَذِلَّةٌ weak. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear ٱللَّهَ Allah لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَشْكُرُونَ (be) grateful.
English - And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah; perhaps you will be grateful. .
हिंदी - 123 और बेशक अल्लाह ने तुम्हारी ”बदर“ में मदद की जबकी तुम कमज़ोर थे तो तुम अल्लाह से डरो शायद कि तुम शुक्र करोे।.
Ayah 124
إِذْ When تَقُولُ you said لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ to the believers, أَلَن "Is it not يَكْفِيَكُمْ enough for you أَن that يُمِدَّكُمْ reinforces you رَبُّكُم your Lord بِثَلَٰثَةِ with three ءَالَٰفٍ thousand[s] مِّنَ [of] ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ [the] Angels مُنزَلِينَ [the ones] sent down?
English - [Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down? .
हिंदी - 124 जब तुम ईमान वालों से कह रहे थे क्या तुम्हारे लिए काफ़ी नहीं कि तुम्हारा रब तुम्हारी मदद तीन हज़ार उतारे हुए फ़रिश्तों से करे।.
Ayah 125
بَلَىٰٓ Yes, إِن if تَصْبِرُوا۟ you are patient وَتَتَّقُوا۟ and fear (Allah) وَيَأْتُوكُم and they come upon you مِّن [of] فَوْرِهِمْ suddenly, هَٰذَا [this] يُمْدِدْكُمْ will reinforce you رَبُّكُم your Lord بِخَمْسَةِ with five ءَالَٰفٍ thousand[s] مِّنَ [of] ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ [the] Angels مُسَوِّمِينَ [the ones] having marks.
English - Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction] .
हिंदी - 125 क्यों नहीं अगर तुम सब्र करो और बचते रहो और यह तुम पर एक दम से आपहुंचे तो तुम्हारा रब पाँच हज़ार निशान वाले फ़रिश्तों से मदद करेगा।.
Ayah 126
وَمَا And not جَعَلَهُ made it ٱللَّهُ Allah إِلَّا except بُشْرَىٰ (as) good news لَكُمْ for you وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ and to reassure قُلُوبُكُم your hearts بِهِۦ with it. وَمَا And (there is) no ٱلنَّصْرُ [the] victory إِلَّا except مِنْ from عِندِ [near] ٱللَّهِ Allah, ٱلْعَزِيزِ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمِ the All-Wise.
English - And Allah made it not except as [a sign of] good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise – .
हिंदी - 126 अल्लाह ने इस को नहीं बनाया मगर तुम्हारी ख़ुशख़बरी के लिए और ताकि उस से तुम्हारे दिल को सुकून हासिल हो और नहीं है जीत मगर ज़्ाबरदसत, सूझ बूझ वाले अल्लाह की तरफ़ से।.
Ayah 127
لِيَقْطَعَ That He may cut off طَرَفًا a part مِّنَ of ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieved أَوْ or يَكْبِتَهُمْ suppress them فَيَنقَلِبُوا۟ so (that) they turn back خَآئِبِينَ disappointed.
English - That He might cut down a section of the disbelievers or suppress them so that they turn back disappointed. .
हिंदी - 127 ताकि इंकार करने वालों में से एक गिरोह को तबाह कर दे या उन्हें ज़लील कर दे ताकि नाकाम वापस जाएं।.
Ayah 128
لَيْسَ Not لَكَ for you مِنَ of ٱلْأَمْرِ the decision شَىْءٌ (of) anything أَوْ whether يَتُوبَ He turns عَلَيْهِمْ to them أَوْ or يُعَذِّبَهُمْ punishes them فَإِنَّهُمْ for indeed, they ظَٰلِمُونَ (are) wrongdoers.
English - Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - 128 तुम्हारा इस काम से कोई मतलब नहीं चाहे उन की तौबा क़ुबूल करे या उन्हें अज़ाब दे, क्यों कि वह ज़ालिम हैं।.
Ayah 129
وَلِلَّهِ And to Allah (belongs) مَا what فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and what فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, يَغْفِرُ He forgives لِمَن [for] whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيُعَذِّبُ and punishes مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - 129 और अल्लाह ही के लिए है जो आसमानों में और जो ज़मीन में है, जिसे चाहता है माफ़ करता है और जिसे चाहता है अज़ाब देता है और अल्लाह माफ़ करने वाला, रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 130
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! لَا (Do) not تَأْكُلُوا۟ eat ٱلرِّبَوٰٓا۟ the usury أَضْعَٰفًا doubled مُّضَٰعَفَةً multiplied. وَٱتَّقُوا۟ And fear ٱللَّهَ Allah لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُفْلِحُونَ (be) successful.
English - O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. .
हिंदी - 130 ऐ ईमान वालो सूद न खाओ दुगने पर दुगना और अल्लाह से डरो शयद की तुम कामयाबी पाजाओ।.
Ayah 131
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ And fear ٱلنَّارَ the Fire ٱلَّتِىٓ which أُعِدَّتْ is prepared لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ for the disbelievers.
English - And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - 131 और उस आग से बचो जो इंकार करने वालों के लिए तैयार की गई है।.
Ayah 132
وَأَطِيعُوا۟ And obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَٱلرَّسُولَ and the Messenger لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُرْحَمُونَ receive mercy.
English - And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy. .
हिंदी - 132 और अल्लाह और रसूल की बात मानो शायद कि तुम पर रहम किया जाए।.
Ayah 133
وَسَارِعُوٓا۟ And hasten إِلَىٰ to مَغْفِرَةٍ forgiveness مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord وَجَنَّةٍ and a Garden - عَرْضُهَا its width ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ (is like that of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضُ and the earth أُعِدَّتْ prepared لِلْمُتَّقِينَ for the pious.
English - And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous .
हिंदी - 133 दौड़ो अपने रब की माफ़ी की तरफ़ और उस जन्नत की तरफ़ जिस की चौड़ाई आसमानों और ज़मीन की तरह है, बचते रहने वालों के लिए तैयार की गई है।.
Ayah 134
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يُنفِقُونَ spend فِى in ٱلسَّرَّآءِ [the] ease وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ and (in) the hardship وَٱلْكَٰظِمِينَ and those who restrain ٱلْغَيْظَ the anger وَٱلْعَافِينَ and those who pardon عَنِ [from] ٱلنَّاسِ the people - وَٱللَّهُ and Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of good; .
हिंदी - 134 जो ख़ुशी में और तकलीफ़ में ख़र्च करते हैं और गुस्सा दबा लेते हैं और लोगों को माफ़ करते हैं और अल्लाह नेकी करने वालों को पसंद करता है।.
Ayah 135
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those إِذَا when فَعَلُوا۟ they did فَٰحِشَةً immorality أَوْ or ظَلَمُوٓا۟ wronged أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves - ذَكَرُوا۟ they remember ٱللَّهَ Allah فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟ then ask forgiveness لِذُنُوبِهِمْ for their sins - وَمَن and who يَغْفِرُ (can) forgive ٱلذُّنُوبَ the sins إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah? وَلَمْ And not يُصِرُّوا۟ they persist عَلَىٰ on مَا what فَعَلُوا۟ they did وَهُمْ while they يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins – and who can forgive sins except Allah? – and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know. .
हिंदी - 135 और वह लोग जब कोई खुला गुनाह करते हैं या अपने ऊपर ज़्ाुल्म करते हैं तो अल्लाह को याद करते हैं और अपने गुनाहों के लिए माफ़ी मांगते हैं और कौन है जो गुनाहों को माफ़ करे, सिवाए अल्लाह के और वह अड़े नहीं रहते उस बात पर जो वह करते हैं, जबकी वह जानते हैं।.
Ayah 136
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - جَزَآؤُهُم their reward مَّغْفِرَةٌ (is) forgiveness مِّن from رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord وَجَنَّٰتٌ and Gardens تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, خَٰلِدِينَ abiding forever فِيهَا in it. وَنِعْمَ And an excellent أَجْرُ reward ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ (for) the (righteous) workers.
English - Those – their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers. .
हिंदी - 136 यह लोग, उन का बदला उन के रब की तरफ़ से माफ़ी है और बाग़ हैं, जिन के नीचे से नहरें बहती हैं, उस में हमेशा रहेंगे, क्या ही अच्छा बदला है काम करने वालों के लिए।.
Ayah 137
قَدْ Verily خَلَتْ passed مِن from قَبْلِكُمْ before you سُنَنٌ situations, فَسِيرُوا۟ then travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَٱنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ (of) the deniers.
English - Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. .
हिंदी - 137 तुम से पहले कितने ही तरीक़े गुज़र चुके, तो ज़मीन में सफ़र करो और देखो कि झुठलाने वालों का क्या अंजाम हुआ।.
Ayah 138
هَٰذَا This بَيَانٌ (is) a declaration لِّلنَّاسِ for the people وَهُدًى and guidance وَمَوْعِظَةٌ and admonition لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ for the God-fearing.
English - This [Qur’an] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of Allah. .
हिंदी - 138 यह लोगांे के लिए एक बयान है और बचने वालों के लिए हिदायत और नसीहत है।.
Ayah 139
وَلَا And (do) not تَهِنُوا۟ weaken وَلَا and (do) not تَحْزَنُوا۟ grieve وَأَنتُمُ and you (will be) ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ [the] superior, إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers.
English - So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. .
हिंदी - 139 और तुम कमज़्ाोर न हो और न ग़म करो और तुम ही हावी रहोगे अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो।.
Ayah 140
إِن If يَمْسَسْكُمْ touched you قَرْحٌ a wound, فَقَدْ so certainly مَسَّ (has) touched ٱلْقَوْمَ the people قَرْحٌ wound مِّثْلُهُۥ like it. وَتِلْكَ And this ٱلْأَيَّامُ [the] days نُدَاوِلُهَا We alternate them بَيْنَ among ٱلنَّاسِ the people وَلِيَعْلَمَ [and] so that makes evident ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d] وَيَتَّخِذَ and take مِنكُمْ from you شُهَدَآءَ martyrs. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ love ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - If a wound should touch you – there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs – and Allah does not like the wrongdoers – .
हिंदी - 140 अगर तुम्हें ज़ख़्म लगा है तो दूसरी क़ौम को भी ऐसा ही ज़ख़्म लगा है और यह दिन हैं, हम इन्हें लोगों के बीच बदलते रहते हैं, ताकि अल्लाह उन लोगों को जाने जो ईमान लाए और तुम में से गवाह बनाए और अल्लाह ज़्ाालिमों को पसंद नहीं करता।.
Ayah 141
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ And so that may purify ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَيَمْحَقَ and destroy ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. .
हिंदी - 141 और ताकि अल्लाह ईमान वालों को पाक कर दे और काफ़िरों को मिटा दे।.
Ayah 142
أَمْ Or حَسِبْتُمْ do you think أَن that تَدْخُلُوا۟ you will enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ Paradise وَلَمَّا while has not yet يَعْلَمِ made evident ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِينَ those who جَٰهَدُوا۟ strove hard مِنكُمْ among you وَيَعْلَمَ and made evident ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ the steadfast.
English - Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast? .
हिंदी - 142 क्या तुम यह ख़्याल करते हो कि जन्नत में दाख़िल हो जाओगे, जबकि अल्लाह ने उन लोगों को नहीं जाना जिन्होंने जिहाद किया है और न ही सब्र करने वालों को।.
Ayah 143
وَلَقَدْ And certainly كُنتُمْ you used to تَمَنَّوْنَ wish ٱلْمَوْتَ (for) death مِن from قَبْلِ before أَن [that] تَلْقَوْهُ you met it, فَقَدْ then indeed, رَأَيْتُمُوهُ you have seen it وَأَنتُمْ while you (were) تَنظُرُونَ looking on.
English - And you had certainly wished for martyrdom before you encountered it, and you have [now] seen it [before you] while you were looking on. .
हिंदी - 143 और तुम मौत की तमन्ना करते थे इस से पहले की तुम उस से मुलाक़ात करो तो तुम ने उसे देखा, ग़ौर से देखते हुए।.
Ayah 144
وَمَا And not مُحَمَّدٌ (is) Muhammad - إِلَّا except رَسُولٌ a Messenger, قَدْ certainly خَلَتْ passed away مِن from قَبْلِهِ before him ٱلرُّسُلُ [the] (other) Messengers. أَفَإِي۟ن So if مَّاتَ he died أَوْ or قُتِلَ is slain ٱنقَلَبْتُمْ will you turn back عَلَىٰٓ on أَعْقَٰبِكُمْ your heels? وَمَن And whoever يَنقَلِبْ turns back عَلَىٰ on عَقِبَيْهِ his heels فَلَن then never يَضُرَّ will he harm ٱللَّهَ Allah شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. وَسَيَجْزِى And will reward ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ the grateful ones.
English - Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful. .
हिंदी - 144 और मुहम्मद तो सिर्फ़ एक रसूल हैं उन से पहले बहुत से रसूल गुज़रे हैं, अगर यह मर जाएं या क़तल किए जाएं तो क्या तुम उलटे पैरों फिर जाओगे? और जो उलटे पैर फिर जाएगा तो वह अल्लाह का कुछ नुक़सान नहीं करेगा और अल्लाह शुक्र गुज़ारों को बदला देगा।.
Ayah 145
وَمَا And not كَانَ is لِنَفْسٍ for a soul أَن that تَمُوتَ he dies إِلَّا except بِإِذْنِ by (the) permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, كِتَٰبًا (at a) decree مُّؤَجَّلًا determined. وَمَن And whoever يُرِدْ desires ثَوَابَ reward ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world - نُؤْتِهِۦ We will give him مِنْهَا thereof; وَمَن and whoever يُرِدْ desires ثَوَابَ reward ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter نُؤْتِهِۦ We will give him مِنْهَا thereof. وَسَنَجْزِى And We will reward ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ the grateful ones.
English - And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world – We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter – We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful. .
हिंदी - 145 और कोई जान नहीं मर सकती मगर अल्लाह की इजाज़त से तैय वक़त पर और जो दुनिया का बदला चाहेगा हम उसे उस से देंगे और जो आख़िरत का बदला चाहेगा हम उसे उस से देंगे और हम शुक्र गुज़ारों को बदला देंगे।.
Ayah 146
وَكَأَيِّن And how many مِّن from نَّبِىٍّ a Prophet قَٰتَلَ fought; مَعَهُۥ with him رِبِّيُّونَ (were) religious scholars كَثِيرٌ many. فَمَا But not وَهَنُوا۟ they lost heart لِمَآ for what أَصَابَهُمْ befell them فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَمَا and not ضَعُفُوا۟ they weakened وَمَا and not ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ they gave in. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ the patient ones.
English - And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast. .
हिंदी - 146 और कितने ही नबी हैं जिन के साथ बहुत से अल्लाह वालों ने जंग की तो वह न ही हिम्मत हारे उस पर जो उन को अल्लाह के रास्ते में (मुसीबत) पहुंची और न कमज़्ाोर हुए और न ही दबे और अल्लाह सब्र करने वालों को पसंद करता है।.
Ayah 147
وَمَا And not كَانَ were قَوْلَهُمْ their words إِلَّآ except أَن that قَالُوا۟ they said, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord ٱغْفِرْ forgive لَنَا for us ذُنُوبَنَا our sins وَإِسْرَافَنَا and our excesses فِىٓ in أَمْرِنَا our affairs وَثَبِّتْ and make firm أَقْدَامَنَا our feet وَٱنصُرْنَا and give us victory عَلَى over ٱلْقَوْمِ [the people] ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers."
English - And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people." .
हिंदी - 147 और उन की बात नहीं थी मगर यह कि ऐ हमारे रब हमारे गुनाहों को और हमारे कामों में हमारी ज़्यादती को माफ़ कर दे और हमारे पैरों को जमा दे और काफ़िर क़ौमों पर हमारी मदद कर।.
Ayah 148
فَـَٔاتَىٰهُمُ So gave them ٱللَّهُ Allah ثَوَابَ reward ٱلدُّنْيَا (in) the world وَحُسْنَ and good ثَوَابِ reward ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (in) the Hereafter. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers.
English - So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good. .
हिंदी - 148 तो अल्लाह ने उन्हें दुनिया का बदला और आख़िरत का अच्छा बदला दिया और अल्लाह नेकी करने वालों को पसंद करता है।.
Ayah 149
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe! إِن If تُطِيعُوا۟ you obey ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, يَرُدُّوكُمْ they will turn you back عَلَىٰٓ on أَعْقَٰبِكُمْ your heels, فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟ then you will turn back خَٰسِرِينَ (as) losers.
English - O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers. .
हिंदी - 149 ऐ ईमान वालो अगर तुम काफ़िरों की बात मानोगे, यह तुम्हें तुम्हारी एढ़ियों के बल लौटा देंगे तो तुम नाकाम लौटोगे।.
Ayah 150
بَلِ Nay, ٱللَّهُ Allah مَوْلَىٰكُمْ (is) your Protector وَهُوَ and He خَيْرُ (is the) best ٱلنَّٰصِرِينَ (of) the Helpers.
English - But Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers. .
हिंदी - 150 बलकि अल्लाह तुम्हारा मददगार है और वह अच्छा मददगार है।.
Ayah 151
سَنُلْقِى We will cast فِى in قُلُوبِ (the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve ٱلرُّعْبَ [the] terror بِمَآ because أَشْرَكُوا۟ they associated partners بِٱللَّهِ with Allah, مَا what لَمْ not يُنَزِّلْ He sent down بِهِۦ about it سُلْطَٰنًا any authority, وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ and their refuge ٱلنَّارُ (will be) the Fire وَبِئْسَ and wretched مَثْوَى (is the) abode ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ [of] the wrongdoers.
English - We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down [any] authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - 151 हम जलद काफ़िरों के दिलों में धाक बैठा देंगे, इस बात पर कि उन्होंने अल्लाह के साथ साझी ठहराया जिस की उस ने कोई दलील नहीं उतारी और उन का ठिकाना आग है और ज़्ाालिमों का बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 152
وَلَقَدْ And certainly صَدَقَكُمُ fulfilled to you ٱللَّهُ Allah وَعْدَهُۥٓ His promise, إِذْ when تَحُسُّونَهُم you were killing them بِإِذْنِهِۦ by His permission, حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when فَشِلْتُمْ you lost courage وَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ and you fell into dispute فِى concerning ٱلْأَمْرِ the order وَعَصَيْتُم and you disobeyed مِّنۢ from بَعْدِ after مَآ [what] أَرَىٰكُم He (had) shown you مَّا what تُحِبُّونَ you love. مِنكُم Among you مَّن (are some) who يُرِيدُ desire ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَمِنكُم and among you مَّن (are some) who يُرِيدُ desire ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ the Hereafter. ثُمَّ Then صَرَفَكُمْ He diverted you عَنْهُمْ from them لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ so that He may test you. وَلَقَدْ And surely عَفَا He forgave عَنكُمْ you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is the) Possessor فَضْلٍ (of) Bounty عَلَى for ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - And Allah had certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing the enemy by His permission until [the time] when you lost courage and fell to disputing about the order [given by the Prophet] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love. Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then he turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allah is the possessor of bounty for the believers. .
हिंदी - 152 और अल्लाह ने तुम से अपना वादा पूरा किया जब तुम उन को उस की इजाज़त से काट (क़त्ल) रहे थे, यहाँ तक कि जब तुम हिम्मत हार गए और मामले में झगड़ने लगे और तुम ने नाफ़रमानी की इस के बाद की तुम्हेें दिखा दिया जो तुम पसंद करते थे। तुम में से कुछ दुनिया को चाहते हैं और तुम में से कुछ आख़िरत को चाहते हैं फिर तुम्हें उन से फेर दिया ताकि तुम को आज़माए और बेशक उस ने तुम्हें माफ़ किया और अल्लाह ईमान वालों पर मेहरबानी करने वाला है।.
Ayah 153
إِذْ When تُصْعِدُونَ you were running uphill وَلَا and not تَلْوُۥنَ casting a glance عَلَىٰٓ on أَحَدٍ anyone وَٱلرَّسُولُ while the Messenger يَدْعُوكُمْ was calling you فِىٓ [in] أُخْرَىٰكُمْ (from) behind you. فَأَثَٰبَكُمْ So (He) repaid you غَمًّۢا (with) distress بِغَمٍّ on distress لِّكَيْلَا so that not تَحْزَنُوا۟ you grieve عَلَىٰ over مَا what فَاتَكُمْ escaped you وَلَا and not مَآ what أَصَٰبَكُمْ (had) befallen you. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do.
English - [Remember] when you [fled and] climbed [the mountain] without looking aside at anyone while the Messenger was calling you from behind. So Allah repaid you with distress upon distress so you would not grieve for that which had escaped you [of victory and spoils of war] or [for] that which had befallen you [of injury and death]. And Allah is [fully] Acquainted with what you do. .
हिंदी - 153 जब तुम चढ़े जाते थे और किसी की तरफ़ मुड़ते नहीं थे और रसूल तुम्हारे पीछे से पुकार रहे थे तो तुम पर ग़म पे ग़म डाला ताकि तुम उस चीज़ पर ग़म न करो जो तुम से छूट गया और न उस पर जो तुम को (मुसीबत) मिली और अल्लाह उस की ख़बर रखने वाला है जो तुम करते हो।.
Ayah 154
ثُمَّ Then أَنزَلَ He sent down عَلَيْكُم upon you مِّنۢ from بَعْدِ after ٱلْغَمِّ the distress أَمَنَةً security - نُّعَاسًا slumber يَغْشَىٰ overcoming طَآئِفَةً a group مِّنكُمْ of you, وَطَآئِفَةٌ while a group قَدْ certainly أَهَمَّتْهُمْ worried [them] أَنفُسُهُمْ (about) themselves يَظُنُّونَ thinking بِٱللَّهِ about Allah غَيْرَ other than ٱلْحَقِّ the truth - ظَنَّ (the) thought ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ (of) [the] ignorance. يَقُولُونَ saying, هَل "Is (there) لَّنَا for us مِنَ from ٱلْأَمْرِ the matter مِن any شَىْءٍ thing?" قُلْ Say, إِنَّ "Indeed ٱلْأَمْرَ the matter كُلَّهُۥ all (of) it لِلَّهِ (is) for Allah." يُخْفُونَ They hide فِىٓ in أَنفُسِهِم themselves مَّا what لَا not يُبْدُونَ they reveal لَكَ to you, يَقُولُونَ They say, لَوْ "If كَانَ was لَنَا for us مِنَ from ٱلْأَمْرِ the matter شَىْءٌ anything مَّا not قُتِلْنَا we would have been killed هَٰهُنَا here." قُل Say, لَّوْ "If كُنتُمْ you were فِى in بُيُوتِكُمْ your houses, لَبَرَزَ surely (would have) come out ٱلَّذِينَ those who - كُتِبَ was decreed عَلَيْهِمُ upon them ٱلْقَتْلُ [the] death إِلَىٰ towards مَضَاجِعِهِمْ their places of death. وَلِيَبْتَلِىَ And that might test ٱللَّهُ Allah مَا what فِى (is) in صُدُورِكُمْ your breasts وَلِيُمَحِّصَ and that He may purge مَا what فِى (is) in قُلُوبِكُمْ your hearts. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Aware بِذَاتِ of what ٱلصُّدُورِ (is in) the breasts.
English - Then after distress, He sent down upon you security [in the form of] drowsiness, overcoming a faction of you, while another faction worried about themselves, thinking of Allah other than the truth – the thought of ignorance, saying, "Is there anything for us [to have done] in this matter?" Say, "Indeed, the matter belongs completely to Allah." They conceal within themselves what they will not reveal to you. They say, "If there was anything we could have done in the matter, some of us would not have been killed right here." Say, “Even if you had been inside your houses, those decreed to be killed would have come out to their death beds." [It was] so that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purify what is in your hearts. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts. .
हिंदी - 154 फिर तुम पर ग़म के बाद अमन को उतारा, ऊँघ जो तुम में से एक गिरोह पर छा गई और एक गिरोह जिन को अपनी जान की फ़िक्र हुई जो अल्लाह पर जाहिलों की तरह झूटे ख़्याल कर रहे थे, कह रहे थे, “क्या हमारे लिए कोई काम है”, कहो कि बेशक सब मामला अल्लाह पर है, वह अपने दिलों में छिपाते हैं जो वह तुम्हारे लिए ज़्ााहिर नहीं करते, वह कहते हैं अगर हमारे लिए कोई काम होता तो हम यहाँ मारे नहीं जाते, कहो अगर तुम अपने घरों में होते तो जिन के हक़ में मारा जाना लिखा था ज़्ारूर मारे जाने की जगहों पर निकल आते और ताकि अल्लाह जाँचे जो तुम्हारे सीनों में है और ताकि दूर कर दे जो तुम्हारे दिलों में है और अल्लाह दिलांे के राज़ को जानने वाला है।.
Ayah 155
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who تَوَلَّوْا۟ turned back مِنكُمْ among you يَوْمَ (on the) day ٱلْتَقَى met ٱلْجَمْعَانِ the two hosts - إِنَّمَا only ٱسْتَزَلَّهُمُ made them slip ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan بِبَعْضِ for some مَا (of) what كَسَبُوا۟ they (had) earned. وَلَقَدْ And surely عَفَا forgave ٱللَّهُ Allah عَنْهُمْ [on] them, إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, حَلِيمٌ All-Forbearing.
English - Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing. .
हिंदी - बेशक जो लोग तुम में से भाग गए जिस दिन दो गिरोह भिड़े तो शैतान ने उन्हें फिसला दिया] उस के सबब जो उन्होंने कमाया और अल्लाह ने उन्हें माफ़ किया] बेशक अल्लाह माफ़ करने वाला] बर्दाश्त वाला है।.
Ayah 156
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d]! لَا (Do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَقَالُوا۟ and they said لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ about their brothers إِذَا when ضَرَبُوا۟ they traveled فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth أَوْ or كَانُوا۟ they were غُزًّى fighting, لَّوْ "If كَانُوا۟ they had been عِندَنَا with us, مَا not مَاتُوا۟ they (would have) died وَمَا and not قُتِلُوا۟ they (would have) been killed." لِيَجْعَلَ So makes ٱللَّهُ Allah ذَٰلِكَ that حَسْرَةً a regret فِى in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يُحْىِۦ gives life وَيُمِيتُ and causes death, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do بَصِيرٌ (is) All-Seer.
English - O you who have believed, do not be like those who disbelieved and said about their brothers when they traveled through the land or went out to fight, "If they had been with us, they would not have died or have been killed," so Allah makes that [misconception] a regret within their hearts. And it is Allah who gives life and causes death, and Allah is Seeing of what you do. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमान वालो तुम उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाओ जिन्होंने कुफ्ऱ किया और अपने भाइयों से कहा जब वह ज़मीन पर सफ़र पर निकले या वह जिहाद को निकलें, अगर वह हमारे पास रहते तो वह न मरते और न मारे जाते, ताकि अल्लाह उस को उन के दिलों में अफ़सोस बना डाले और अल्लाह ज़िन्दा करता और मारता है और अल्लाह उसे देख रहा है जो तुम करते हो।.
Ayah 157
وَلَئِن And if قُتِلْتُمْ you are killed فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah أَوْ or مُتُّمْ die[d] - لَمَغْفِرَةٌ certainly forgiveness مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَرَحْمَةٌ and Mercy خَيْرٌ (are) better مِّمَّا than what يَجْمَعُونَ they accumulate.
English - And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die – then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world]. .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम अल्लाह के रास्ते में मार दिए जाओ या मर जाओ तो अल्लाह की बख़शिश और उस की मेहरबानी उस से अच्छी है जो तुम जमा करते हो।.
Ayah 158
وَلَئِن And if مُّتُّمْ you die أَوْ or قُتِلْتُمْ are killed, لَإِلَى surely to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُحْشَرُونَ you will be gathered.
English - And whether you die or are killed, unto Allah you will be gathered. .
हिंदी - और अगर तुम मर गए या मारे गए तो अल्लाह की तरफ़ तुम्हें जमा किया जाएगा।.
Ayah 159
فَبِمَا So because رَحْمَةٍ (of) Mercy مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah لِنتَ you dealt gently لَهُمْ with them. وَلَوْ And if كُنتَ you had been فَظًّا rude غَلِيظَ (and) harsh ٱلْقَلْبِ (at) [the] heart, لَٱنفَضُّوا۟ surely they (would have) dispersed مِنْ from حَوْلِكَ around you. فَٱعْفُ Then pardon عَنْهُمْ [from] them وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ and ask forgiveness لَهُمْ for them وَشَاوِرْهُمْ and consult them فِى in ٱلْأَمْرِ the matter. فَإِذَا Then when عَزَمْتَ you have decided, فَتَوَكَّلْ then put trust عَلَى on ٱللَّهِ Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُحِبُّ loves ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ the ones who put trust (in Him).
English - So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him]. .
हिंदी - फिर अल्लाह की मेहरबानी से ही तुम उन के लिए नरम हो गए और अगर तुम अक्खड़ और सख़्त दिल होते तो वह वह तुम्हारे पास से अलग हो जाते तो तुम उस को माफ़ करो और उन के लिए माफ़ी माँगो और उन से मामले में मशवरा करो, फिर जब तुम इरादा करो तो अल्लाह पर भरोसा करो, बेशक अल्लाह भरोसा करने वालों को पसंद करता है।.
Ayah 160
إِن If يَنصُرْكُمُ helps you ٱللَّهُ Allah, فَلَا then not غَالِبَ (can) overcome لَكُمْ [for] you, وَإِن and if يَخْذُلْكُمْ He forsakes you, فَمَن then who ذَا (is) ٱلَّذِى the one who يَنصُرُكُم can help you مِّنۢ from بَعْدِهِۦ after Him? وَعَلَى And on ٱللَّهِ Allah - فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ let put (their) trust. ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers.
English - If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely. .
हिंदी - अगर अल्लाह तुम्हारी मदद करेगा तो कोई तुम पर हावी न हो सकेगा और अगर वह तुम्हें छोड़ दे तो उस के बाद कौन तुम्हारी मदद करेगा और ईमान वालों को चाहिए कि वह अल्लाह पर भरोसा रखे।.
Ayah 161
وَمَا And not كَانَ is لِنَبِىٍّ for a Prophet أَن that يَغُلَّ he defrauds. وَمَن And whoever يَغْلُلْ defrauds يَأْتِ will bring بِمَا what غَلَّ he had defrauded يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) Resurrection. ثُمَّ Then تُوَفَّىٰ is repaid in full كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّا what كَسَبَتْ it earned وَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged.
English - It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty]. And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - और किसी नबी का काम नहीं है कि वह ख़ियानत करे और जो ख़ियानत करेगा वह क़यामत के दिन लाएगा जो उस ने ख़ियानत की, फिर हर जान को वह पूरा पूरा दिया जाएगा जो उस ने कमाया और उन पर ज़्ाुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा।.
Ayah 162
أَفَمَنِ So is (the one) who ٱتَّبَعَ pursues رِضْوَٰنَ (the) pleasure ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah كَمَنۢ like (the one) who بَآءَ draws بِسَخَطٍ on (himself) wrath مِّنَ of ٱللَّهِ Allah وَمَأْوَىٰهُ and his abode جَهَنَّمُ (is) hell, وَبِئْسَ and wretched ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination?
English - So is one who pursues the pleasure of Allah like one who brings upon himself the anger of Allah and whose refuge is Hell? And wretched is the destination. .
हिंदी - तो क्या जो अल्लाह की ख़ुशी में लगा हो उस की तरह है जिसने अल्लाह के गुस्से को कमाया और उस का ठिकाना जहन्नम है और बहुत ही बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 163
هُمْ They دَرَجَٰتٌ (are in varying) degrees عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah بَصِيرٌۢ (is) All-Seer بِمَا of what يَعْمَلُونَ they do.
English - They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allah, and Allah is Seeing of whatever they do. .
हिंदी - उन लोगों के अल्लाह के पास मुख़तलिफ़ दर्जें हैं और अल्लाह देख रहा है जो वह लोग करते हैं।.
Ayah 164
لَقَدْ Certainly مَنَّ bestowed a Favor ٱللَّهُ Allah عَلَى upon ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers إِذْ as بَعَثَ He raised فِيهِمْ among them رَسُولًا a Messenger مِّنْ from أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves يَتْلُوا۟ reciting عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Verses وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ and purifying them, وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ and teaching them ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ and the wisdom, وَإِن although كَانُوا۟ they were مِن from قَبْلُ before (that) لَفِى certainly in ضَلَٰلٍ (the) error مُّبِينٍ clear.
English - Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह ने ईमान वालों पर एहसान किया जब उन में उन्हीं में से एक रसूल भेजा जो उन्हें उस की आयतें पढ़ कर सुनाता है और उन को पाक करता है और उन्हें किताब और सूझ बूझ सिखाता है जबकि यह लोग पहले खुली गुमराही में थे।.
Ayah 165
أَوَلَمَّآ Or when أَصَٰبَتْكُم struck you مُّصِيبَةٌ disaster, قَدْ surely أَصَبْتُم you (had) struck (them) مِّثْلَيْهَا twice of it, قُلْتُمْ you said, أَنَّىٰ "From where هَٰذَا (is) this?" قُلْ Say, هُوَ "It مِنْ (is) عِندِ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves." إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - Why [is it that] when a [single] disaster struck you [on the day of Uhud], although you had struck [the enemy in the battle of Badr] with one twice as great, you said, "From where is this?" Say, “It is from yourselves." Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - क्या जब तुम्हें एक तकलीफ़ पहुंची जबकी तुम इस की दो गुना (तकलीफ़) पहुंचा चुके थे, तुमने कहा, “यह कैसे हुआ?” कहो, “यह (तकलीफ़) तुमहारी तरफ़ से है” बेशक अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर ताक़त रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 166
وَمَآ And what أَصَٰبَكُمْ struck you يَوْمَ (on the) day ٱلْتَقَى (when) met ٱلْجَمْعَانِ the two hosts فَبِإِذْنِ (was) by (the) permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَلِيَعْلَمَ and that He (might) make evident ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers. .
हिंदी - और जो कुछ तुम्हें पहुंचा जिस दिन दो गिरोह मिले तो वह अल्लाह के हुक्म से हुआ, ताकि ईमान वालों को जान ले।.
Ayah 167
وَلِيَعْلَمَ And that He (might) make evident ٱلَّذِينَ those who نَافَقُوا۟ (are) hypocrites. وَقِيلَ And it was said لَهُمْ to them, تَعَالَوْا۟ "Come, قَٰتِلُوا۟ fight فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah أَوِ or ٱدْفَعُوا۟ defend." قَالُوا۟ They said, لَوْ "If نَعْلَمُ we knew قِتَالًا fighting لَّٱتَّبَعْنَٰكُمْ certainly we (would have) followed you." هُمْ They - لِلْكُفْرِ to disbelief يَوْمَئِذٍ that day أَقْرَبُ (were) nearer مِنْهُمْ than [them] لِلْإِيمَٰنِ to the faith, يَقُولُونَ saying بِأَفْوَٰهِهِم with their mouths مَّا what لَيْسَ was not فِى in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah أَعْلَمُ (is) Most Knowing بِمَا of what يَكْتُمُونَ they conceal.
English - And that He might make evident those who are hypocrites. For it was said to them, "Come, fight in the way of Allah or [at least] defend." They said, “If we had known [there would be] fighting, we would have followed you." They were nearer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah is most Knowing of what they conceal – .
हिंदी - और ताकि मुनाफ़िक़ों को जान ले और उन से कहा गया कि आओ अल्लाह के रास्ते में लड़ो या रक्षा करो, उन लोगों ने कहा, “अगर हमें जंग करना आता तो हम ज़रूर तुम्हारे साथ चलते, वह उस दिन ईमान से ज़्यादा कुफ्ऱ के क़रीब थे, वह लोग अपने मुंह से कह रहे हैं जो उन के दिलों में नहीं हैं, और अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ यह छिपाते हैं।.
Ayah 168
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who قَالُوا۟ said لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ about their brothers وَقَعَدُوا۟ while they sat, لَوْ "If أَطَاعُونَا they (had) obeyed us مَا not قُتِلُوا۟ they would have been killed." قُلْ Say, فَٱدْرَءُوا۟ "Then avert عَنْ from أَنفُسِكُمُ yourselves ٱلْمَوْتَ [the] death إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful.
English - Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful." .
हिंदी - जिन लोगों ने अपने भाइयों से कहा जबकि वह बैठे थें, अगर वह हमारी बात मान लेते तो क़त्ल नहीं किये जाते, कहो अगत तुम सच्चे हो तो अपनी जानों से मौत को हटा दो।.
Ayah 169
وَلَا And (do) not تَحْسَبَنَّ think ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who قُتِلُوا۟ are killed فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah أَمْوَٰتًۢا (as) dead. بَلْ Nay! أَحْيَآءٌ They are alive, عِندَ near رَبِّهِمْ their Lord; يُرْزَقُونَ they are given provision.
English - And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, .
हिंदी - और जो लोग अल्लाह के रास्ते में मारे गए हैं उन्हें मुर्दा न समझो बल्कि वह अपने रब के पास जिंदा हैं, रोज़ी दिये जाते हैं।.
Ayah 170
فَرِحِينَ Rejoicing بِمَآ in what ءَاتَىٰهُمُ bestowed them ٱللَّهُ Allah مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty, وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ and they receive good tidings بِٱلَّذِينَ about those who لَمْ (have) not يَلْحَقُوا۟ yet joined بِهِم [with] them مِّنْ [from] خَلْفِهِمْ (but are) left behind - أَلَّا that (there will be) no خَوْفٌ fear عَلَيْهِمْ on them وَلَا and not هُمْ they يَحْزَنُونَ will grieve.
English - Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them – that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. .
हिंदी - ख़ुश हैं जो कुछ अल्लाह ने उन्हें अपने उदार में से दिया है और ख़ुश हो रहे हैं उन लोगों से जो उन के पीछे रह गए हैं, उन से अभी तक नहीं मिले हैं कि उन्हें न कोई डर होगा और न वह दुखी होंगे।.
Ayah 171
يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ They receive good tidings بِنِعْمَةٍ of Favor مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah وَفَضْلٍ and Bounty وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُضِيعُ let go waste أَجْرَ (the) reward ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (of) the believers.
English - They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost – .
हिंदी - अल्लाह के बदले और उदार से ख़ुश हो रहे हैं और बेशक अल्लाह ईमान वालों का बदला बर्बाद नहीं करता।.
Ayah 172
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ responded لِلَّهِ to Allah وَٱلرَّسُولِ and the Messenger مِنۢ from بَعْدِ after مَآ what أَصَابَهُمُ befell them - ٱلْقَرْحُ the injury - لِلَّذِينَ for those who أَحْسَنُوا۟ did good مِنْهُمْ among them وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ and feared Allah, أَجْرٌ (is) a reward - عَظِيمٌ great.
English - Those [believers] who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had struck them. For those who did good among them and feared Allah is a great reward – .
हिंदी - जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह और रसूल के हुक्म को माना इसके बावजूद कि उन्हें ज़ख़्म पहुंचा, जो उन में से नेक हैं और परहेज़गार, (उन के लिए) बड़ा बदला है।.
Ayah 173
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who قَالَ said لَهُمُ to them ٱلنَّاسُ [the people], إِنَّ "Indeed ٱلنَّاسَ the people قَدْ (have) certainly جَمَعُوا۟ gathered لَكُمْ against you, فَٱخْشَوْهُمْ so fear them." فَزَادَهُمْ But it increased them إِيمَٰنًا (in) faith وَقَالُوا۟ and they said, حَسْبُنَا "Sufficient for us ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah وَنِعْمَ and (He is the) best ٱلْوَكِيلُ [the] Disposer of affairs."
English - Those to whom hypocrites said, "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs." .
हिंदी - यह वह लोग हैं जिन्हें लोगों ने कहा, बेशक लोग तुम्हारे ख़िलाफ़ जमा हुए हैं, तो उनसे डरो, तो इस (ख़बर) ने उनके ईमान को और बढ़ा दिया और उन्होंने कहा कि हमें अल्लाह काफ़ी है और अच्छा काम बनाने वाला है।.
Ayah 174
فَٱنقَلَبُوا۟ So they returned بِنِعْمَةٍ with (the) Favor مِّنَ of ٱللَّهِ Allah وَفَضْلٍ and Bounty, لَّمْ not يَمْسَسْهُمْ touched them سُوٓءٌ any harm. وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ And they followed رِضْوَٰنَ (the) pleasure ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah ذُو (is) Possessor فَضْلٍ (of) Bounty عَظِيمٍ great.
English - So they returned with favor from Allah and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. .
हिंदी - तो वह अल्लाह की मेहरबानी और उदार के साथ वापस आए, उन्हें कोई तकलीफ़ नहीं चहुंची और अल्लाह की ख़ुशी पर चले और अल्लाह बहुत उदार वाला है।.
Ayah 175
إِنَّمَا (It is) only ذَٰلِكُمُ that ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan يُخَوِّفُ frightens (you) أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥ (of) his allies. فَلَا So (do) not تَخَافُوهُمْ fear them, وَخَافُونِ but fear Me, إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers.
English - That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers. .
हिंदी - वह शैतान है अपने दोस्तों से डराता है तो तुम उन से न डरो और मुझ से डरो, अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो।.
Ayah 176
وَلَا And (let) not يَحْزُنكَ grieve you ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُسَٰرِعُونَ hasten فِى in(to) ٱلْكُفْرِ [the] disbelief. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they لَن never يَضُرُّوا۟ will harm ٱللَّهَ Allah شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. يُرِيدُ intends ٱللَّهُ Allah أَلَّا that not يَجْعَلَ He will set لَهُمْ for them حَظًّا any portion فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter. وَلَهُمْ And for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ great.
English - And do not be grieved, [O Muhammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allah at all. Allah intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment. .
हिंदी - और तुम ग़म न करो उन पर जो कुफ्ऱ में जलदी करते हैं, यह लोग अल्लाह का कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकते, अल्लाह चाहता है कि आख़िरत में इन को कुछ हिस्सा न दे और उन के लिए बड़ा अज़्ााब है।.
Ayah 177
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ (have) purchased ٱلْكُفْرَ [the] disbelief بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ with the faith لَن never يَضُرُّوا۟ will they harm ٱللَّهَ Allah شَيْـًٔا (in) anything, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith – never will they harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - बेशक जिन्होंने ईमान के बदले कुफ्ऱ को ख़रीदा, वह अल्लाह का कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकते और उन के लिए दर्दनाक अज़्ााब है।.
Ayah 178
وَلَا And (let) not يَحْسَبَنَّ think ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieved أَنَّمَا that نُمْلِى We give respite لَهُمْ to them خَيْرٌ (is) good لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ for themselves. إِنَّمَا Only نُمْلِى We give respite لَهُمْ to them لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ so that they may increase إِثْمًا (in) sins, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment مُّهِينٌ humiliating.
English - And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment. .
हिंदी - और जिन्होंने इंकार किया है यह ख़्याल न करें कि हम उन्हें जो ढ़ील देते हैं उन के लिए अच्छा है, बल्कि हम उन्हें ढ़ील देते हैं ताकि वह और गुनाह करें और उन के लिए ज़िल्लत वाला अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 179
مَّا Not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ Allah لِيَذَرَ to leave ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers عَلَىٰ on مَآ what أَنتُمْ you (are) عَلَيْهِ in [it] حَتَّىٰ until يَمِيزَ He separates ٱلْخَبِيثَ the evil مِنَ from ٱلطَّيِّبِ the good. وَمَا And not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ Allah لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ to inform you عَلَى about ٱلْغَيْبِ the unseen, وَلَٰكِنَّ [and] but ٱللَّهَ Allah يَجْتَبِى chooses مِن from رُّسُلِهِۦ His Messengers مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills, فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ so believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرُسُلِهِۦ and His Messengers, وَإِن and if تُؤْمِنُوا۟ you believe وَتَتَّقُوا۟ and fear (Allah) فَلَكُمْ then for you أَجْرٌ (is a) reward عَظِيمٌ great.
English - Allah would not leave the believers in that [state] you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good. Nor would Allah reveal to you the unseen. But [instead], Allah chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allah and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह वह नहीं कि ईमान वालों को उस पर छोड़ देगा जिस पर तुम हो, जब तक कि वह अलग न कर दे नापाक को पाक से, और अल्लाह वह नहीं कि तुम को ख़बर दे ग़ैब की लेकिन अल्लाह अपने रसूलों में से चुनता है जिसे चाहता है, तो अल्लाह और उस के रसूलों पर ईमान लाओ, और अगर तुम ईमान ले आए और डरते रहे तो तुम्हारे लिए बहुत बड़ा बदला है।.
Ayah 180
وَلَا And (let) not يَحْسَبَنَّ think ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَبْخَلُونَ withhold بِمَآ of what ءَاتَىٰهُمُ (has) given them ٱللَّهُ Allah مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty هُوَ (that) it خَيْرًا (is) good لَّهُم for them. بَلْ Nay, هُوَ it شَرٌّ (is) bad لَّهُمْ for them. سَيُطَوَّقُونَ Their necks will be encircled مَا (with) what بَخِلُوا۟ they withheld بِهِۦ [with it] يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) [the] Resurrection. وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah مِيرَٰثُ (is the) heritage ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah, بِمَا with what تَعْمَلُونَ you do, خَبِيرٌ (is) All-Aware.
English - And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted. .
हिंदी - और जो कंजूसी करते हैं वह ख़्याल न करें कि जो अल्लाह ने उन्हें अपने फ़ज़्ल में से दिया है वह उन के लिए अच्छा है बल्कि वह उन के लिए बुरा है, जिस में उन्होंने कंजूसी की, क़यामत के दिन उसे उनके गले का हार बना दिया जाएगा और अल्लाह ही के लिए है आसमानों और ज़मीन की विरासत और जो तुम करते हो अल्लाह उसे ख़ूब जानता है।.
Ayah 181
لَّقَدْ Certainly, سَمِعَ heard ٱللَّهُ Allah قَوْلَ (the) saying ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who قَالُوٓا۟ said, إِنَّ "Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah فَقِيرٌ (is) poor وَنَحْنُ while we أَغْنِيَآءُ (are) rich." سَنَكْتُبُ We will record مَا what قَالُوا۟ they said وَقَتْلَهُمُ and their killing ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ the Prophets بِغَيْرِ without حَقٍّ (any) right, وَنَقُولُ and We will say, ذُوقُوا۟ "Taste عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْحَرِيقِ (of) the Burning Fire."
English - Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire. .
हिंदी - बेशक अल्लाह ने उन की बात सुनी जिन्होंने कहा कि बेशक अल्लाह फ़क़ीर है और हम मालदार, हम लिख लेंगे जो उन्होंने कहा और ग़्ालत तरीक़े से उनका नबियों के क़त्ल करने को, और हम कहेंगे कि जलने का अज़ाब चखो।.
Ayah 182
ذَٰلِكَ That بِمَا (is) because قَدَّمَتْ (of what) sent forth أَيْدِيكُمْ your hands وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah لَيْسَ is not بِظَلَّامٍ unjust لِّلْعَبِيدِ to (His) slaves.
English - That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants." .
हिंदी - यह उस वजह से है जो तुम्हारे हाथों ने किया और बेशक अल्लाह कभी बंदों पर ज़्ाुल्म नहीं करता।.
Ayah 183
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who قَالُوٓا۟ said, إِنَّ "Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَهِدَ (has) taken promise إِلَيْنَآ from us أَلَّا that not نُؤْمِنَ we (should) believe لِرَسُولٍ in a Messenger حَتَّىٰ until يَأْتِيَنَا he brings to us بِقُرْبَانٍ a sacrifice - تَأْكُلُهُ consumes it ٱلنَّارُ the fire." قُلْ Say, قَدْ "Surely جَآءَكُمْ came to you رُسُلٌ Messengers مِّن from قَبْلِى before me بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with the clear Signs وَبِٱلَّذِى and with what قُلْتُمْ you speak. فَلِمَ So why قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ you killed them, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful.
English - [They are] those who said, "Indeed, Allah has taken our promise not to believe any messenger until he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume." Say, "There have already come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and [even] that of which you speak. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?" .
हिंदी - जिन्होंने कहा कि बेशक अल्लाह ने हमसे वादा लिया है कि किसी रसूल पर ईमान न लाएं यहाँ तक कि वह हमारे पास कोई क़ुर्बानी ले आए कि उसे आग खा जाए, कहो कि मुझ से पहले बहुत से रसूल तुम्हारे पास खुली निशानी लेकर आए और उस के साथ जो तुम ने कहा, फिर क्यों तुम उन्हें क़त्ल किए अगर तुम सच्चे थे।.
Ayah 184
فَإِن Then if كَذَّبُوكَ they reject you, فَقَدْ then certainly كُذِّبَ were rejected رُسُلٌ Messengers مِّن from قَبْلِكَ before you جَآءُو (who) came بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with the clear Signs وَٱلزُّبُرِ and the Scriptures وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ and the Book - ٱلْمُنِيرِ [the] Enlightening.
English - Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture. .
हिंदी - फिर अगर यह तुझे झूठलाएं तो तुझ से पहले बहुत से रसूल झुठलाए गए जो निशनियाँ और सहीफ़े (ग्रंथ) और रोशन किताब लाए।.
Ayah 185
كُلُّ Every نَفْسٍ soul ذَآئِقَةُ (will) taste ٱلْمَوْتِ [the] death, وَإِنَّمَا and only تُوَفَّوْنَ you will be paid in full أُجُورَكُمْ your reward يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) [the] Resurrection. فَمَن Then whoever زُحْزِحَ is drawn away عَنِ from ٱلنَّارِ the Fire وَأُدْخِلَ and admitted ٱلْجَنَّةَ (to) Paradise فَقَدْ then surely فَازَ he is successful. وَمَا And not ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ (is) the life ٱلدُّنْيَآ (of) the world إِلَّا except مَتَٰعُ enjoyment ٱلْغُرُورِ (of) delusion.
English - Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion. .
हिंदी - हर जान को मौत का मज़ा चखना है और क़यामत के दिन तुम्हें बदला दिया जाएगा, तो जो कोई आग से दूर रखा गया और जन्नत में दाखिल किया गया तो वह कामयाब हुआ। और दुनिया की जिंदगी नहीं है मगर धोके का सामान।.
Ayah 186
لَتُبْلَوُنَّ You will certainly be tested فِىٓ in أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ your wealth وَأَنفُسِكُمْ and yourselves. وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ And you will certainly hear مِنَ from ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book مِن from قَبْلِكُمْ before you وَمِنَ and from ٱلَّذِينَ those who أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ associate partners with Allah - أَذًى hurtful things كَثِيرًا many, وَإِن and if تَصْبِرُوا۟ you are patient وَتَتَّقُوا۟ and fear (Allah) فَإِنَّ then indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that مِنْ (is) of عَزْمِ the matters ٱلْأُمُورِ (of) determination.
English - You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah – indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination. .
हिंदी - ज़रूर तुम अपने मालों और जानों में आज़माए जाओगे और ज़रूर उन लोगों से जिन्हें तुम से पहले किताब दी गई और उन लोगों से जिन्होंने साझी ठहराया बहुत बुरी बात सुनोगे और अगर तुम सब्र करोगे और डरोगे तो बेशक यह बड़ी हिम्मत के काम हैं।.
Ayah 187
وَإِذْ And when أَخَذَ took ٱللَّهُ Allah مِيثَٰقَ a Covenant ٱلَّذِينَ (from) those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book, لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ "You certainly make it clear لِلنَّاسِ to the mankind وَلَا and (do) not تَكْتُمُونَهُۥ conceal it. فَنَبَذُوهُ Then they threw it وَرَآءَ behind ظُهُورِهِمْ their backs وَٱشْتَرَوْا۟ and they exchanged بِهِۦ [with] it ثَمَنًا (for) a price قَلِيلًا little. فَبِئْسَ And wretched مَا (is) what يَشْتَرُونَ they purchase.
English - And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased. .
हिंदी - और जब अल्लाह ने उन लोगों से वादा लिया जिन्हें किताब दी गई कि उसे लोगों में बयान करोगे और उस को न छुपाना, तो उन्होंने उसे अपनी पीठ के पीछे फेंक दिया और उसे थोड़ी सी क़ीमत पर बेच दिया, तो कितनी बुरी ख़रीदारी है।.
Ayah 188
لَا (Do) not تَحْسَبَنَّ think ٱلَّذِينَ (that) those who يَفْرَحُونَ rejoice بِمَآ in what أَتَوا۟ (they have) brought وَّيُحِبُّونَ and they love أَن that يُحْمَدُوا۟ they be praised بِمَا for what لَمْ not يَفْعَلُوا۟ they do - فَلَا so (do) not تَحْسَبَنَّهُم think (that) they بِمَفَازَةٍ (will) escape مِّنَ from ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment; وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is a) punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - And never think that those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do – never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment, and for them is a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - उन्हें न समझो जो अपने किये पर ख़ुश होते हैं और पसंद करते हैं कि उन की तारीफ़ की जाए उस पर जो वह नहीं करते हैं तो तुम उन्हें अज़ाब से छुटकारा पाने वाला हरगिज़ मत समझो और उन के लिए तकलीफ़ वाला अज़ाब है।.
Ayah 189
وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah مُلْكُ (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह के लिए आसमानों और ज़मीन की बादशाहत है और अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर ताक़त रखने वाला है।.
Ayah 190
إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in خَلْقِ (the) creation ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ and (in the) alternation ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day لَءَايَٰتٍ (are) surely Signs لِّأُو۟لِى for men ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ (of) understanding.
English - Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. .
हिंदी - बेशक आसमानों और ज़मीन के पैदा करने में और रात और दिन के बदलने में निशानियाँ हैं समझ रखने वालों के लिए।.
Ayah 191
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَذْكُرُونَ remember ٱللَّهَ Allah قِيَٰمًا standing, وَقُعُودًا and sitting وَعَلَىٰ and on جُنُوبِهِمْ their sides وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ and they reflect فِى on خَلْقِ (the) creation ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord, مَا not خَلَقْتَ You have created هَٰذَا this بَٰطِلًا (in) vain. سُبْحَٰنَكَ Glory be to You, فَقِنَا so save us عَذَابَ (from the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire.
English - Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire. .
हिंदी - और जो अल्लाह को खड़े और बेठक और करवट की हालत में याद करते हैं और आसमानों और ज़मीन के निर्माण में सोचते हैं, “ऐ हमारे रब तू ने यह बेकार पैदा नहीं किया तू पाक है, तो तू हमें आग के आज़ाब से बचा ले”।.
Ayah 192
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord, إِنَّكَ indeed [You] مَن whom تُدْخِلِ You admit ٱلنَّارَ (to) the Fire فَقَدْ then surely أَخْزَيْتَهُۥ You (have) disgraced him, وَمَا and not لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ for the wrongdoers مِنْ (are) any أَنصَارٍ helpers.
English - Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire – You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers. .
हिंदी - “ऐ हमरे रब जिसे तू आग में दाख़िल कर दे तो तू ने उसे ज़लील और कर दिया और ज़ुल्म करने वालों का कोई मददगार नहीं”।.
Ayah 193
رَّبَّنَآ Our Lord, إِنَّنَا indeed we سَمِعْنَا [we] heard مُنَادِيًا a caller يُنَادِى calling لِلْإِيمَٰنِ to the faith أَنْ that ءَامِنُوا۟ "Believe بِرَبِّكُمْ in your Lord," فَـَٔامَنَّا so we have believed. رَبَّنَا Our Lord فَٱغْفِرْ so forgive لَنَا for us ذُنُوبَنَا our sins وَكَفِّرْ and remove عَنَّا from us سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا our evil deeds, وَتَوَفَّنَا and cause us to die مَعَ with ٱلْأَبْرَارِ the righteous.
English - Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous. .
हिंदी - “ऐ हमारे रब बेशक हमने एक पुकारने वाले को सुना जो ईमान के लिए पुकार रहा था कि अपने रब पर ईमान लेते आओ तो हम ईमान लाए, ऐ हमारे रब तो हमारे गुनाहों को माफ़ कर दे और हमारी बुराइयों को मिटा दे और हमें नेक लोगें के साथ मौत दे”।.
Ayah 194
رَبَّنَا Our Lord, وَءَاتِنَا grant us مَا what وَعَدتَّنَا You promised us عَلَىٰ through رُسُلِكَ Your Messengers وَلَا and (do) not تُخْزِنَا disgrace us يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) [the] Resurrection. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You لَا (do) not تُخْلِفُ break ٱلْمِيعَادَ the promise."
English - Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise." .
हिंदी - “ऐ हमारे रब हमें दे जो तू ने हमसे वाद किया अपने रसूलों के ज़रिए और हमें क़यामत के दिन रुसवा ना करना, बेशक तू वादा ख़िलाफी़ नहीं करता”।.
Ayah 195
فَٱسْتَجَابَ Then responded لَهُمْ to them رَبُّهُمْ their Lord, أَنِّى "Indeed, I لَآ (will) not أُضِيعُ (let go) waste عَمَلَ deeds عَٰمِلٍ (of the) doer مِّنكُم among you مِّن [from] ذَكَرٍ (whether) male أَوْ or أُنثَىٰ female بَعْضُكُم each of you مِّنۢ from بَعْضٍ (the) other. فَٱلَّذِينَ So those who هَاجَرُوا۟ emigrated وَأُخْرِجُوا۟ and were driven out مِن from دِيَٰرِهِمْ their homes, وَأُوذُوا۟ and were harmed فِى in سَبِيلِى My way وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ and fought وَقُتِلُوا۟ and were killed - لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ surely I (will) remove عَنْهُمْ from them سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ their evil deeds وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ and surely I will admit them جَنَّٰتٍ (to) Gardens تَجْرِى flowing مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers - ثَوَابًا a reward مِّنْ from عِندِ [near] ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah - عِندَهُۥ with Him حُسْنُ (is the) best ٱلثَّوَابِ reward."
English - And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed – I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah, and Allah has with Him the best reward." .
हिंदी - तो उनके रब ने उन की दुआ क़ुबूल की, “बेशक मैं तुम में से किसी काम करने वाले के काम को मर्द हो या औरत बर्बाद नहीं करूंगा, तुम आपस में एक हो, तो जो लोग घर छोड़े (हिजरत की) और अपने घरों से निकाले गए और मेरे रास्ते में सताए गए और लड़े और मारे गए, ज़रूर मैं उन की बुराइयों को मिटा दूंगा और उन्हें बाग़ों में दाख़िल करूंगा जिन के नीचे से नहरें बहती होंगी, बदला है अल्लाह के पास और अल्लाह के पास अच्छा बदला है।.
Ayah 196
لَا (Let) not يَغُرَّنَّكَ deceive you تَقَلُّبُ (the) movement ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved فِى in ٱلْبِلَٰدِ the land.
English - Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land. .
हिंदी - और तुम्हें काफ़िरों का शहरों में चलना फिरना धोके में ना डाले।.
Ayah 197
مَتَٰعٌ An enjoyment قَلِيلٌ little, ثُمَّ then مَأْوَىٰهُمْ their abode جَهَنَّمُ (is) hell - وَبِئْسَ [and] a wretched ٱلْمِهَادُ [the] resting place.
English - [It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place. .
हिंदी - थोड़ा सा फ़ायदा है फिर उन का ठिकाना जहन्नम है और बहुत बुरा ठिकाना है।.
Ayah 198
لَٰكِنِ But ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ fear رَبَّهُمْ their Lord, لَهُمْ for them جَنَّٰتٌ (will be) Gardens تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, خَٰلِدِينَ will abide forever فِيهَا in it - نُزُلًا a hospitality مِّنْ from عِندِ [near] ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَمَا And what عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah خَيْرٌ (is) best لِّلْأَبْرَارِ for the righteous.
English - But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allah. And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous. .
हिंदी - लेकिन जो लोग अपने रब से डरते रहे उन के लिए बाग़ हैं जिन के नीचे से नहरें बहती हैं उन मे हमेशा रहेंगे, अल्लाह के यहाँ मेहमानी है और जो अल्लाह के यहाँ है वह नेक लोगों के लिए बहुत अच्छा है।.
Ayah 199
وَإِنَّ And indeed, مِنْ among أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book لَمَن (are those) who يُؤْمِنُ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَمَآ and what أُنزِلَ was revealed إِلَيْكُمْ to you وَمَآ and what أُنزِلَ was revealed إِلَيْهِمْ to them - خَٰشِعِينَ humbly submissive لِلَّهِ to Allah. لَا Not يَشْتَرُونَ (do) they exchange بِـَٔايَٰتِ [with] (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ثَمَنًا (for) a price قَلِيلًا little. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those, لَهُمْ for them, أَجْرُهُمْ their reward عِندَ (is) with رَبِّهِمْ their Lord. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَرِيعُ (is) swift ٱلْحِسَابِ (in taking) the account.
English - And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allah. They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in account. .
हिंदी - और किताब वालों में से कुछ ऐसे हैं जो अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हैं और जो चीज़ तुम पर उतारी गई और जो उन की तरफ़ उतारी गई, अल्लाह के सामने झुकने वाले हैं, अल्लाह की आयतों को थोड़ी सी की़मत में नही बेचते हैं, यही लोग हैं जिन के लिए उन का बदला है उन के रब के पास, बेशक अल्लाह जल्द हिसाब लेने वाला है।.
Ayah 200
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d]! ٱصْبِرُوا۟ Be steadfast وَصَابِرُوا۟ and [be] patient وَرَابِطُوا۟ and [be] constant وَٱتَّقُوا۟ and fear ٱللَّهَ Allah لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُفْلِحُونَ (be) successful.
English - O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful. .
हिंदी - ऐ ईमान वालो, सब्र करो और एक दुसरे को थामे रखो और जमे रहो और अल्लाह से डरते रहो ताकि तुम कामयाब हो।.
