Ayah 1
طسٓ Ta Seen. تِلْكَ These ءَايَٰتُ (are the) Verses ٱلْقُرْءَانِ (of) the Quran وَكِتَابٍ and a Book مُّبِينٍ clear
English - Ta, Seen. These are the verses of the Qur’an and a clear Book .
हिंदी - ता सीन, यह क़ुरआन और खुली किताब की आयतें हैं।.
Ayah 2
هُدًى A guidance وَبُشْرَىٰ and glad tidings لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers,
English - As guidance and good tidings for the believers .
हिंदी - रहनुमाई और ख़ुशख़बरी है ईमान वालों के लिए।.
Ayah 3
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يُقِيمُونَ establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَيُؤْتُونَ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَهُم and they بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter هُمْ [they] يُوقِنُونَ believe with certainty.
English - Who establish prayer and give zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. .
हिंदी - जो नमाज़्ा क़ायम करते हैं और ज़कात देते हैं और वह आख़िरत पर यक़ीन रखते हैं।.
Ayah 4
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, زَيَّنَّا We have made fair-seeming لَهُمْ to them أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds, فَهُمْ so they يَعْمَهُونَ wander blindly.
English - Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly. .
हिंदी - बेशक जो आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते, हम ने उनके लिए उनके काम को सजा दिया तो वह भटकते फिरते हैं।.
Ayah 5
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones, لَهُمْ for them سُوٓءُ (is) an evil ٱلْعَذَابِ [the] punishment وَهُمْ and they فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter هُمُ [they] ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ (will be) the greatest losers.
English - Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers. .
हिंदी - यही लोग हैं जिनके लिए बुरा अज़्ााब है और वही आख़िरत में सबसे ज़्यादा घाटा उठाने वाले हैं।.
Ayah 6
وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you لَتُلَقَّى surely, receive ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran مِن from [near] لَّدُنْ from [near] حَكِيمٍ the All-Wise, عَلِيمٍ the All-Knower.
English - And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur’an from one Wise and Knowing. .
हिंदी - और बेशक तुम्हें क़ुरआन दिया जा रहा है एक ख़ूब सूझ बूझ वाले और बहुत इल्म वाले की तरफ़ से।.
Ayah 7
إِذْ When قَالَ said مُوسَىٰ Musa لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ to his family, إِنِّىٓ "Indeed, I ءَانَسْتُ perceive نَارًا a fire. سَـَٔاتِيكُم I will bring you مِّنْهَا from it بِخَبَرٍ some information أَوْ or ءَاتِيكُم I will bring you بِشِهَابٍ a torch قَبَسٍ burning لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَصْطَلُونَ warm yourselves."
English - [Mention] when Moses said to his family, “Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves.” .
हिंदी - जब मूसा ने अपने घर वालों से कहा कि मैंने आग देखी है, मैं जल्द तुम्हारे पास उस में से कुछ ख़बर लाऊँगा या तुम्हारे पास एक सुलगता अंगारा ले आऊँगा, ताकि तुम ताप सको।.
Ayah 8
فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَهَا he came to it, نُودِىَ he was called أَنۢ [that] بُورِكَ "Blessed is مَن who فِى (is) at ٱلنَّارِ the fire وَمَنْ and whoever حَوْلَهَا (is) around it. وَسُبْحَٰنَ And glory be ٱللَّهِ (to) Allah رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds.
English - But when he came to it, he was called, “Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds. .
हिंदी - फिर जब वह उस के पास आया तो पुकारा गया कि बरकत दे दी गई जो आग में है और जो उसके आस पास है और अल्लाह पाक है जो सारे जहानों का पालनहार है।.
Ayah 9
يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ O Musa! إِنَّهُۥٓ Indeed, أَنَا I Am ٱللَّهُ Allah, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise."
English - O Moses, indeed it is I – Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” .
हिंदी - ऐ मूसा बेशक मैं अल्लाह हूँ, बहुत ज़बरदस्त, ख़ूब सूझ बूझ वाला।.
Ayah 10
وَأَلْقِ And, "Throw عَصَاكَ your staff." فَلَمَّا But when رَءَاهَا he saw it تَهْتَزُّ moving كَأَنَّهَا as if it جَآنٌّ (were) a snake وَلَّىٰ he turned back مُدْبِرًا (in) flight وَلَمْ and (did) not يُعَقِّبْ look back. يَٰمُوسَىٰ "O Musa! لَا (Do) not تَخَفْ fear. إِنِّى Indeed, [I] لَا (do) not يَخَافُ fear لَدَىَّ (in) My presence ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ the Messengers.
English - And [he was told], “Throw down your staff.” But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], “O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear. .
हिंदी - और तुम अपनी लाठी डाल दो फिर जब उस ने उसे देखा कि वह लहरा रही है, जैसे कि वह सांप है तो उस ने पीठ फेरते हुए मुंह मोड़ लिया और उसने पीछे नहीं देखा, ऐ मूसा मत डरो, बेशक मेरे पास रसूल डरा नहीं करते।.
Ayah 11
إِلَّا Except مَن who ظَلَمَ wrongs ثُمَّ then بَدَّلَ substitutes حُسْنًۢا good بَعْدَ after سُوٓءٍ evil, فَإِنِّى then indeed, I Am غَفُورٌ Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil – indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - मगर जिस ने जु़ल्म किया फिर बुराई के बाद अच्छाई में बदल दिया तो बेशक मैं बड़ा माफ़ करने वाला, बहुत मेहरबानी करने वाला हूँ।.
Ayah 12
وَأَدْخِلْ And enter يَدَكَ your hand فِى into جَيْبِكَ your bosom تَخْرُجْ it will come forth بَيْضَآءَ white مِنْ without غَيْرِ without سُوٓءٍ harm. فِى (These are) among تِسْعِ nine ءَايَٰتٍ signs إِلَىٰ to فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ and his people. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ are قَوْمًا a people فَٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient."
English - And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient.” .
हिंदी - और तुम अपना हाथ अपनी जेब में डालो, वह सफ़ेद होकर निकलेगा बगैर किसी ऐब के, नौ निशानियों में से है, फ़िरऔन और उसकी क़ौम की तरफ़, बेशक वह नाफ़रमान लोग हैं।.
Ayah 13
فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَتْهُمْ came to them ءَايَٰتُنَا Our Signs مُبْصِرَةً visible, قَالُوا۟ they said, هَٰذَا "This سِحْرٌ (is) a magic مُّبِينٌ manifest."
English - But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, “This is obvious magic.” .
हिंदी - फिर जब उनके पास हमारी आँखें खोल देने वाली निशानियाँ आईं तो उन्होंने कहा यह एक खुला हुआ जादू है।.
Ayah 14
وَجَحَدُوا۟ And they rejected بِهَا them, وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ though were convinced with them (signs) أَنفُسُهُمْ themselves, ظُلْمًا (out of) injustice وَعُلُوًّا and haughtiness. فَٱنظُرْ So see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ (of) the corrupters.
English - And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters. .
हिंदी - और उन्होंने ज़ुल्म और घमंड की वजह से उन का इंकार किया जबकि उनके जी को उनका यक़ीन था तो देखो बिगाड़ करने वालों का कैसा अंजाम हुआ।.
Ayah 15
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ءَاتَيْنَا We gave دَاوُۥدَ Dawood وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ and Sulaiman عِلْمًا knowledge, وَقَالَا and they said, ٱلْحَمْدُ "Praise be لِلَّهِ to Allah ٱلَّذِى the One Who فَضَّلَنَا has favored us عَلَىٰ over كَثِيرٍ many مِّنْ of عِبَادِهِ His servants ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers."
English - And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, “Praise [is due] to Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants.” .
हिंदी - और यक़ीनन हम ने दाऊद और सुलैमान को इल्म अता किया और उन दोनों ने कहा सारी तारीफ़ अल्लाह के लिए है जिसने हमें अपने बहुत से ईमान वाले बंदों पर तरजीह दी।.
Ayah 16
وَوَرِثَ And inherited سُلَيْمَٰنُ Sulaiman دَاوُۥدَ Dawood. وَقَالَ And he said, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلنَّاسُ people! عُلِّمْنَا We have been taught مَنطِقَ (the) language ٱلطَّيْرِ (of) the birds, وَأُوتِينَا and we have been given مِن from كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing. إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَا this لَهُوَ surely, it ٱلْفَضْلُ (is) the favor ٱلْمُبِينُ evident."
English - And Solomon inherited David. He said, “O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty.” .
हिंदी - और सुलैमान दाऊद का वारिस हुआ और कहा कि ऐ लोगो हमें परिंदों की बोली सिखाई गई और हमें हर चीज़ दी गई, बेशक यह खुला एहसान है।.
Ayah 17
وَحُشِرَ And were gathered لِسُلَيْمَٰنَ for Sulaiman جُنُودُهُۥ his hosts مِنَ of ٱلْجِنِّ jinn وَٱلْإِنسِ and the men وَٱلطَّيْرِ and the birds, فَهُمْ and they يُوزَعُونَ (were) set in rows.
English - And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows. .
हिंदी - और सुलैमान के लिए उसकी फ़ौज, जिन्नों और इंसानों और परिंदे सब जमा किए जाते थे तो वह तक़सीम क़िए जाते थे।.
Ayah 18
حَتَّىٰٓ Until, إِذَآ when أَتَوْا۟ they came عَلَىٰ to وَادِ (the) valley ٱلنَّمْلِ (of) the ants, قَالَتْ said نَمْلَةٌ an ant, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلنَّمْلُ ants! ٱدْخُلُوا۟ Enter مَسَٰكِنَكُمْ your dwellings لَا lest not crush you يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ lest not crush you سُلَيْمَٰنُ Sulaiman وَجُنُودُهُۥ and his hosts وَهُمْ while they لَا (do) not perceive." يَشْعُرُونَ (do) not perceive."
English - Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not.” .
हिंदी - यहाँ तक कि जब वह चींटियों के मैदान में आ गए तो एक चींटी बोली कि ऐ चींटियों अपने अपने बिलों में घुस जाओ, सुलैमान और उसकी फ़ौज तुम्हें कुचल कर न रख दे और उन्हें ख़बर भी न हो।.
Ayah 19
فَتَبَسَّمَ So he smiled - ضَاحِكًا laughing مِّن at قَوْلِهَا her speech وَقَالَ and said, رَبِّ "My Lord! أَوْزِعْنِىٓ Grant me (the) power أَنْ that أَشْكُرَ I may thank You نِعْمَتَكَ (for) Your Favor ٱلَّتِىٓ which أَنْعَمْتَ You have bestowed عَلَىَّ on me وَعَلَىٰ and on وَٰلِدَىَّ my parents وَأَنْ and that أَعْمَلَ I may do صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds), تَرْضَىٰهُ that will please You. وَأَدْخِلْنِى And admit me بِرَحْمَتِكَ by Your Mercy فِى among عِبَادِكَ Your slaves ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ righteous."
English - So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.” .
हिंदी - तो वह उसकी बात पर मुस्कुरा के हँस पड़ा और कहा कि ऐ मेरे रब मुझे तौफ़ीक़ दे कि मैं तेरी उस नेमत का शुक्रिया अदा करुँ जो तू ने मुझ पर और मेरे माँ बाप पर की और यह कि मैं ऐसा नेक अमल करुँ जिस से तू राज़्ाी हो जाए और मुझे अपनी मेहरबानी से अपने नेक बंदों में दाख़िल कर।.
Ayah 20
وَتَفَقَّدَ And he inspected ٱلطَّيْرَ the birds فَقَالَ and said, مَا "Why لِىَ "Why لَآ not أَرَى I see ٱلْهُدْهُدَ the hoopoe أَمْ or كَانَ is he مِنَ from ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ the absent?
English - And he took attendance of the birds and said, “Why do I not see the hoopoe – or is he among the absent? .
हिंदी - और उस ने परिंदों का जायज़्ाा लिया फिर कहा, मुझे क्या हुआ कि मैं हुदहुद को नहीं देख रहा या वह ग़ैर हाज़िर है?.
Ayah 21
لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ I will surely punish him عَذَابًا (with) a punishment شَدِيدًا severe أَوْ or لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ I will surely slaughter him أَوْ unless لَيَأْتِيَنِّى he brings me بِسُلْطَٰنٍ a reason مُّبِينٍ clear."
English - I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or slaughter him unless he brings me clear authorization.” .
हिंदी - मैं उसे ज़रूर सख़्त सज़ा दूँगा या उसे ज़िबह कर डालूँगा या वह कोई साफ़ दलील मेरे पास ले आए।.
Ayah 22
فَمَكَثَ So he stayed غَيْرَ not بَعِيدٍ long, فَقَالَ and he said, أَحَطتُ "I have encompassed بِمَا that which لَمْ not تُحِطْ you have encompassed بِهِۦ it, وَجِئْتُكَ and I have come to you مِن from سَبَإٍۭ Saba بِنَبَإٍ with news يَقِينٍ certain.
English - But the hoopoe stayed not long and said, “I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news. .
हिंदी - तो वह थोड़ी ही देर ठहरा फिर कहा कि मुझे वह बात मालूम हुई जो आप को भी मालूम नहीं और मैं आप के पास सबा (शहर) से एक पक्की ख़बर लेकर आया हूँ।.
Ayah 23
إِنِّى Indeed, I وَجَدتُّ found ٱمْرَأَةً a woman تَمْلِكُهُمْ ruling them وَأُوتِيَتْ and she has been given مِن of كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing وَلَهَا and for her عَرْشٌ (is) a throne عَظِيمٌ great.
English - Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne. .
हिंदी - बेशक मैं ने एक औरत को देखा जो उन पर बादशाहत करती है और उसे हर चीज़ से नवाज़्ाा गया है और उसका एक बड़ा तख़्त है।.
Ayah 24
وَجَدتُّهَا And I found her وَقَوْمَهَا and her people يَسْجُدُونَ prostrating لِلشَّمْسِ to the sun مِن instead of Allah, دُونِ instead of Allah, ٱللَّهِ instead of Allah, وَزَيَّنَ and has made fair-seeming لَهُمُ to them ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds, فَصَدَّهُمْ and averted them عَنِ from ٱلسَّبِيلِ the Way, فَهُمْ so they لَا (are) not يَهْتَدُونَ guided,
English - I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided, .
हिंदी - मैंने उसे और उसकी क़ौम को पाया कि वह लोग अल्लाह को छोड़कर सूरज को सजदा करते हैं और शैतान ने उनके लिए उनके कामों को अच्छा बना दिया फिर उन्हें (सीधे) रास्ते से रोक दिया तो वह हिदायत नहीं पाते।.
Ayah 25
أَلَّا That not يَسْجُدُوا۟ they prostrate لِلَّهِ to Allah, ٱلَّذِى the One Who يُخْرِجُ brings forth ٱلْخَبْءَ the hidden فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَيَعْلَمُ and knows مَا what تُخْفُونَ you conceal وَمَا and what تُعْلِنُونَ you declare,
English - [And] so they do not prostrate to Allah, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare – .
हिंदी - कि वह उस अल्लाह को सजदा न करें, जो आसमानों और ज़मीन में छुपी चीज़्ा को निकालता है और वह जानता है जो तुम छुपाते हो और जो ज़ाहिर करते हो।.
Ayah 26
ٱللَّهُ Allah لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ He, رَبُّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great."
English - Allah – there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Great Throne.” .
हिंदी - अल्लाह, नहीं है पूज्य मगर वह, मालिक है बड़े तख़्त का।.
Ayah 27
قَالَ He said, سَنَنظُرُ "We will see أَصَدَقْتَ whether you speak (the) truth أَمْ or كُنتَ you are مِنَ of ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ the liars.
English - [Solomon] said, “We will see whether you were truthful or were of the liars. .
हिंदी - उस ने कहा हम देखेंगे कि क्या तूने सच कहा या तू झूठा है?.
Ayah 28
ٱذْهَب Go بِّكِتَٰبِى with my letter, هَٰذَا this, فَأَلْقِهْ and deliver it إِلَيْهِمْ to them. ثُمَّ Then تَوَلَّ turn away عَنْهُمْ from them فَٱنظُرْ and see مَاذَا what يَرْجِعُونَ they return."
English - Take this letter of mine and deliver it to them. Then leave them and see what [answer] they will return.” .
हिंदी - मेरा यह ख़त लेकर जा फिर उसे उनकी तरफ़ डाल दे फिर उन के पास से हट जा फिर देख कि वह क्या जवाब देेते हैं?.
Ayah 29
قَالَتْ She said, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ chiefs! إِنِّىٓ Indeed [I], أُلْقِىَ is delivered إِلَىَّ to me كِتَٰبٌ a letter كَرِيمٌ noble.
English - She said, “O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter. .
हिंदी - वह बोली, ऐ दरबारियो बेशक मेरे पास एक इज़्ज़्ात वाला ख़त डाला गया है।.
Ayah 30
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it مِن (is) from سُلَيْمَٰنَ Sulaiman وَإِنَّهُۥ and indeed it (is), بِسْمِ "In the name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious, ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful,
English - Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it reads: ‘In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, .
हिंदी - बेशक वह सुलैमान की तरफ़ से है और बेशक वह अल्लाह के नाम के साथ है जो बड़ा मेहरबान बहुत रहम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 31
أَلَّا That not تَعْلُوا۟ exalt yourselves عَلَىَّ against me, وَأْتُونِى but come to me مُسْلِمِينَ (in) submission."
English - Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].’ ” .
हिंदी - कि मुझ पर बुलंदी न करो और मेरे पास फ़रमाबरदार बन कर आ जाओ।.
Ayah 32
قَالَتْ She said, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ chiefs! أَفْتُونِى Advise me فِىٓ in أَمْرِى my affair. مَا Not كُنتُ I would be قَاطِعَةً the one to decide أَمْرًا any matter حَتَّىٰ until تَشْهَدُونِ you are present with me."
English - She said, “O eminent ones, advise me in my affair. I would not decide a matter until you witness [for] me.” .
हिंदी - उस ने कहा, ऐ मेरे दरबारियो, तुम मेरे मामले में मुझे राय दो, मैं किसी मामले का फ़ैसला करने वाली नहीं हूं, यहां तक कि तुम सब मेरे पास हाज़िर हो जाओ।.
Ayah 33
قَالُوا۟ They said, نَحْنُ "We أُو۟لُوا۟ (are) possessors قُوَّةٍ (of) strength وَأُو۟لُوا۟ and possessors بَأْسٍ (of) might شَدِيدٍ great, وَٱلْأَمْرُ and the command إِلَيْكِ (is) up to you, فَٱنظُرِى so look مَاذَا what تَأْمُرِينَ you will command."
English - They said, “We are men of strength and of great military might, but the command is yours, so see what you will command.” .
हिंदी - उन लोगों ने कहा कि हम ताक़त वाले और बड़े ज़ोर वाले हैं और मामला आपके सामने है तो आप ग़ौर कर लें कि क्या हुक्म दंेगी।.
Ayah 34
قَالَتْ She said, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْمُلُوكَ the kings, إِذَا when دَخَلُوا۟ they enter قَرْيَةً a town أَفْسَدُوهَا they ruin it وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ and make أَعِزَّةَ (the) most honorable أَهْلِهَآ (of) its people أَذِلَّةً (the) lowest. وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus يَفْعَلُونَ they do.
English - She said, “Indeed kings – when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do. .
हिंदी - उसने कहा कि बादशाह जब किसी बस्ती में दाख़िल होते हैं तो उसे बर्बाद कर देते हैं और वहाँ के इज़्ज़्ात वालों को ज़लील कर देते हैं और इसी तरह यह लोग करेंगे।.
Ayah 35
وَإِنِّى But indeed, I am مُرْسِلَةٌ going to send إِلَيْهِم to them بِهَدِيَّةٍ a gift فَنَاظِرَةٌۢ and see بِمَ with what يَرْجِعُ return ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ the messengers."
English - But indeed, I will send to them a gift and see with what [reply] the messengers will return.” .
हिंदी - और बेशक मैं उनकी तरफ़ एक तोहफ़ा भेजने वाली हूँ, फिर देखने वाली हूँ कि किस के साथ भेजे हुए लोग लौटते हैं।.
Ayah 36
فَلَمَّا So when جَآءَ came سُلَيْمَٰنَ (to) Sulaiman قَالَ he said, أَتُمِدُّونَنِ "Will you provide me بِمَالٍ with wealth? فَمَآ But what ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ Allah has given me ٱللَّهُ Allah has given me خَيْرٌ (is) better مِّمَّآ than what ءَاتَىٰكُم He has given you. بَلْ Nay, أَنتُم you بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ in your gift تَفْرَحُونَ rejoice.
English - So when they came to Solomon, he said, “Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift. .
हिंदी - तो जब वह सुलैमान के पास आया, उसने कहा कि क्या तुम लोग मुझे माल की मदद देते हो तो अल्लाह ने जो मुझे अता किया है वह उस से जो तुम्हें दिया है कहीं बेहतर है, बल्कि तुम लोग अपने तोहफे़ से ख़ुश होते हो।.
Ayah 37
ٱرْجِعْ Return إِلَيْهِمْ to them, فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم surely, we will come to them بِجُنُودٍ with hosts لَّا not قِبَلَ (is) resistance لَهُم for them بِهَا of it, وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم and surely, we will drive them out مِّنْهَآ from there أَذِلَّةً (in) humiliation, وَهُمْ and they صَٰغِرُونَ (will be) abased."
English - Return to them, for we will surely come to them with soldiers that they will be powerless to encounter, and we will surely expel them therefrom in humiliation, and they will be debased.” .
हिंदी - उन्हीं लोगों के पास जाओ तो हम यक़ीनन ऐसे लश्कर से उन पर चढ़ाई करेंगे जिसका उससे मुक़ाबला न हो सकेगा और हम ज़रुर उन्हें वहाँ से ज़लील व रुसवा करके निकाल बाहर करेंगे।.
Ayah 38
قَالَ He said, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ chiefs! أَيُّكُمْ Which of you يَأْتِينِى will bring me بِعَرْشِهَا her throne قَبْلَ before أَن that يَأْتُونِى they come to me مُسْلِمِينَ (in) submission?"
English - [Solomon] said, “O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?” .
हिंदी - उसने कहा कि ऐ मेरे दरबार के सरदारो, तुम में से कौन है जो उसका तख़्त मेरे पास ले आएगा इस से पहले कि वह लोग मेरे पास फ़रमाबरदार बनकर आएं।.
Ayah 39
قَالَ Said عِفْرِيتٌ a strong one مِّنَ of ٱلْجِنِّ the jinn, أَنَا۠ "I ءَاتِيكَ will bring it to you بِهِۦ will bring it to you قَبْلَ before أَن [that] تَقُومَ you rise مِن from مَّقَامِكَ your place. وَإِنِّى And indeed, I am عَلَيْهِ for it لَقَوِىٌّ surely, strong, أَمِينٌ trustworthy."
English - A powerful one from among the jinn said, “I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy.” .
हिंदी - जिनों में से एक राक्षस बोला कि इस से पहले कि आप अपनी जगह से उठे, मैं उसे आपके पास ले आऊँगा और बेशक मैं इस पर ताक़त रखने वाला, ज़िम्मेदार हूँ।.
Ayah 40
قَالَ Said ٱلَّذِى one who, عِندَهُۥ with him عِلْمٌ (was) knowledge مِّنَ of ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Scripture, أَنَا۠ "I ءَاتِيكَ will bring it to you بِهِۦ will bring it to you قَبْلَ before أَن [that] يَرْتَدَّ returns إِلَيْكَ to you طَرْفُكَ your glance." فَلَمَّا Then when رَءَاهُ he saw it مُسْتَقِرًّا placed عِندَهُۥ before him, قَالَ he said, هَٰذَا "This مِن (is) from فَضْلِ (the) Favor رَبِّى (of) my Lord, لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ to test me ءَأَشْكُرُ whether I am grateful أَمْ or أَكْفُرُ I am ungrateful. وَمَن And whoever شَكَرَ (is) grateful فَإِنَّمَا then only يَشْكُرُ he is grateful لِنَفْسِهِۦ for his own soul. وَمَن And whoever كَفَرَ (is) ungrateful, فَإِنَّ then indeed, رَبِّى my Lord غَنِىٌّ (is) Self-sufficient, كَرِيمٌ Noble."
English - Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, “This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful – his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful – then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous.” .
हिंदी - जिसके पास किताब का इल्म था उसने कहा कि मैं उसे आप के पास आपकी पलक झपकने से पहले ले आऊँगा फिर जब उस ने उसे अपने पास मौजूद पाया तो कहने लगा यह मेरे रब का फ़ज़्ल है ताकि वह मुझे आज़्ामाए कि क्या मैं शुक्र अदा करता हूँ या नाशुक्री करता हूँ और जो शुक्र करता है वह अपने लिए ही शुक्र करता है और जो नाशुक्री करता है तो बेशक मेरा रब बेपरवाह और करम करने वाला है।.
Ayah 41
قَالَ He said, نَكِّرُوا۟ "Disguise لَهَا for her عَرْشَهَا her throne; نَنظُرْ we will see أَتَهْتَدِىٓ whether she will be guided أَمْ or تَكُونُ will be مِنَ of ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا are not guided." يَهْتَدُونَ are not guided."
English - He said, “Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided.” .
हिंदी - उसने कहा कि उसके लिए उसके तख़्त में बदलाव कर दो ताकि हम देखें कि क्या वह समझ रखती है या उन लोगों में से है जो कुछ समझ नहीं रखते।.
Ayah 42
فَلَمَّا So when جَآءَتْ she came, قِيلَ it was said, أَهَٰكَذَا "Is like this عَرْشُكِ your throne?" قَالَتْ She said, كَأَنَّهُۥ "It is like هُوَ it." وَأُوتِينَا "And we were given ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge مِن before her قَبْلِهَا before her وَكُنَّا and we have been مُسْلِمِينَ Muslims."
English - So when she arrived, it was said [to her], “Is your throne like this?” She said, “[It is] as though it was it.” [Solomon said], “And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah]. .
हिंदी - फिर जब वह आई तो कहा गया कि क्या तुम्हारा तख़्त भी इसी तरह है? वह बोली जैसे कि वह ही है और हमें तो उससे पहले ही इल्म दे दिया गया और हम आपके फ़रमाबरदार थे।.
Ayah 43
وَصَدَّهَا And has averted her مَا what كَانَت she used (to) تَّعْبُدُ worship مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah. إِنَّهَا Indeed, she كَانَتْ was مِن from قَوْمٍ a people كَٰفِرِينَ who disbelieve.
English - And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people.” .
हिंदी - और अल्लाह के सिवा जिसे वह पूजती थी उसने उससे उसे रोक दिया बेशक वह काफ़िर लोगों में से थी।.
Ayah 44
قِيلَ It was said لَهَا to her, ٱدْخُلِى "Enter ٱلصَّرْحَ the palace." فَلَمَّا Then when رَأَتْهُ she saw it, حَسِبَتْهُ she thought it لُجَّةً (was) a pool, وَكَشَفَتْ and she uncovered عَن [on] سَاقَيْهَا her shins. قَالَ He said, إِنَّهُۥ "Indeed, it صَرْحٌ (is) a palace مُّمَرَّدٌ made smooth مِّن of قَوَارِيرَ glass." قَالَتْ She said, رَبِّ "My Lord, إِنِّى indeed, I ظَلَمْتُ [I] have wronged نَفْسِى myself, وَأَسْلَمْتُ and I submit مَعَ with سُلَيْمَٰنَ Sulaiman لِلَّهِ to Allah, رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds."
English - She was told, “Enter the palace.” But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, “Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass.” She said, “My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds.” .
हिंदी - उससे कहा गया कि आप महल मे चलिए तो जब उसने उसे देखा तो उसको गहरा पानी ख़्याल किया और अपनी दोनों पिंडलियाँ खोल दीं, उसने कहा कि यह शीशों से मढ़ा हुआ महल है। उस ने कहा ऐ मेरे रब बेशक मैंने अपने ऊपर ज़्ाुल्म किया और मैं सुलैमान के साथ सारे जहाँ के पालने वाले अल्लाह के सामने इसलाम ले आई।.
Ayah 45
وَلَقَدْ And certainly, أَرْسَلْنَآ We sent إِلَىٰ to ثَمُودَ Thamud أَخَاهُمْ their brother صَٰلِحًا Salih أَنِ that, ٱعْبُدُوا۟ "Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah." فَإِذَا Then behold! هُمْ They فَرِيقَانِ (became) two parties يَخْتَصِمُونَ quarreling.
English - And We had certainly sent to Thamūd their brother Salih, [saying], “Worship Allah,” and at once they were two parties conflicting. .
हिंदी - और हम ही ने समूद के पास उनके भाई सालेह को भेजा कि तुम लोग अल्लाह की इबादत करो तो वह दो गिरोह बनकर आपस में झगड़ने लगे।.
Ayah 46
قَالَ He said, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! لِمَ Why تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ (do) you seek to hasten بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ the evil قَبْلَ before ٱلْحَسَنَةِ the good? لَوْلَا Why not تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ you ask forgiveness ٱللَّهَ (of) Allah لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُرْحَمُونَ receive mercy?"
English - He said, “O my people, why are you impatient for evil instead of good? Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allah that you may receive mercy?” .
हिंदी - उसने कहा ऐ मेरी क़ौम तुम लोग भलाई से पहल बुराई में जल्दी क्यों मचा रहे हो। तुम लोग अल्लाह से माफ़ी क्यों नहीं चाहते ताकि तुम पर रहम किया जा सके।.
Ayah 47
قَالُوا۟ They said, ٱطَّيَّرْنَا "We consider you a bad omen بِكَ "We consider you a bad omen وَبِمَن and those مَّعَكَ with you." قَالَ He said, طَٰٓئِرُكُمْ "Your bad omen عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah. بَلْ Nay, أَنتُمْ you قَوْمٌ (are) a people تُفْتَنُونَ being tested."
English - They said, “We consider you a bad omen, you and those with you.” He said, “Your omen is with Allah. Rather, you are a people being tested.” .
हिंदी - वह लोग बोले हमने तो तुम से और तुम्हारे साथियों से बुरा शगुन पाया सालेह ने कहा तुम्हारी बदकिस्मती ख़ुदा के पास है बल्कि तुम लोगों की आज़माइश की जा रही है।.
Ayah 48
وَكَانَ And were فِى in ٱلْمَدِينَةِ the city تِسْعَةُ nine رَهْطٍ family heads, يُفْسِدُونَ they were spreading corruption فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land وَلَا and not يُصْلِحُونَ reforming.
English - And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs]. .
हिंदी - और शहर में नौ आदमी थे जो मुल्क के बानीये फसाद थे और इसलाह की फिक्र न करते थे-उन लोगों ने कहा कि बाहम ख़ुदा की क़सम खाते जाओ।.
Ayah 49
قَالُوا۟ They said, تَقَاسَمُوا۟ "Swear to each other بِٱللَّهِ by Allah لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ surely, we will attack him by night, وَأَهْلَهُۥ and his family. ثُمَّ Then لَنَقُولَنَّ we will surely say لِوَلِيِّهِۦ to his heir, مَا "Not شَهِدْنَا we witnessed مَهْلِكَ (the) destruction أَهْلِهِۦ (of) his family, وَإِنَّا and indeed, we لَصَٰدِقُونَ (are) surely truthful."
English - They said, “Take a mutual oath by Allah that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor, ‘We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.’ ” .
हिंदी - कि हम लोग सालेह और उसके लड़के बालो पर शब खून करे उसके बाद उसके वाली वारिस से कह देगें कि हम लोग उनके घर वालों को हलाक़ होते वक्त मौजूद ही न थे और हम लोग तो यक़ीनन सच्चे हैं।.
Ayah 50
وَمَكَرُوا۟ So they plotted مَكْرًا a plot وَمَكَرْنَا and We planned مَكْرًا a plan, وَهُمْ while they لَا (did) not يَشْعُرُونَ perceive.
English - And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, while they perceived not. .
हिंदी - और उन लोगों ने एक तदबीर की और हमने भी एक तदबीर की और (हमारी तदबीर की) उनको ख़बर भी न हुई।.
Ayah 51
فَٱنظُرْ Then see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end مَكْرِهِمْ (of) their plot, أَنَّا that We دَمَّرْنَٰهُمْ destroyed them وَقَوْمَهُمْ and their people أَجْمَعِينَ all.
English - Then look how was the outcome of their plan – that We destroyed them and their people, all. .
हिंदी - तो तुम देखो उनकी तदबीर का क्या (बुरा) अन्जाम हुआ कि हमने उनको और सारी क़ौम को हलाक कर डाला।.
Ayah 52
فَتِلْكَ So, these بُيُوتُهُمْ (are) their houses, خَاوِيَةًۢ ruined بِمَا because ظَلَمُوٓا۟ they wronged. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً surely, is a sign لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْلَمُونَ who know.
English - So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know. .
हिंदी - ये बस उनके घर हैं कि उनकी नाफरमानियों की वज़ह से ख़ाली वीरान पड़े हैं इसमे शक नही कि उस वाक़िये में वाक़िफ कार लोगों के लिए बड़ी इबरत है।.
Ayah 53
وَأَنجَيْنَا And We saved ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَكَانُوا۟ and used (to) يَتَّقُونَ fear (Allah).
English - And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allah. .
हिंदी - और हमने उन लोगों को जो ईमान लाए थे और परहेज़गार थे बचा लिया।.
Ayah 54
وَلُوطًا And Lut, إِذْ when قَالَ he said لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ to his people, أَتَأْتُونَ "Do you commit ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ [the] immorality وَأَنتُمْ while you تُبْصِرُونَ see?
English - And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit immorality while you are seeing? .
हिंदी - और लूत को, जब उन्होंने अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि क्या तुम देखभाल कर ऐसी बेहयाई करते हो।.
Ayah 55
أَئِنَّكُمْ Why do you لَتَأْتُونَ approach ٱلرِّجَالَ the men شَهْوَةً (with) lust مِّن instead of دُونِ instead of ٱلنِّسَآءِ the women? بَلْ Nay, أَنتُمْ you قَوْمٌ (are) a people تَجْهَلُونَ ignorant."
English - Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly.” .
हिंदी - क्या तुम औरतों को छोड़कर शहवत से मर्दों के आते हो बल्कि तुम लोग बड़ी जाहिल क़ौम हो तो लूत की क़ौम का इसके सिवा कुछ जवाब न था।.
Ayah 56
فَمَا But not كَانَ was جَوَابَ (the) answer قَوْمِهِۦٓ (of) his people إِلَّآ except أَن that قَالُوٓا۟ they said, أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ "Drive out ءَالَ (the) family لُوطٍ (of) Lut مِّن from قَرْيَتِكُمْ your town. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they أُنَاسٌ (are) people يَتَطَهَّرُونَ who keep clean and pure."
English - But the answer of his people was not except that they said, “Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure.” .
हिंदी - कि वह लोग बोल उठे कि लूत के खानदान को अपनी बस्ती से निकाल बाहर करो ये लोग बड़े पाक साफ बनना चाहते हैं।.
Ayah 57
فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ So We saved him وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ and his family, إِلَّا except ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ his wife; قَدَّرْنَٰهَا We destined her مِنَ (to be) of ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ those who remained behind.
English - So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be of those who remained behind. .
हिंदी - ग़रज हमने लूत को और उनके ख़ानदान को बचा लिया मगर उनकी बीवी कि हमने उसकी तक़दीर में पीछे रह जाने वालों में लिख दिया था।.
Ayah 58
وَأَمْطَرْنَا And We rained عَلَيْهِم upon them مَّطَرًا a rain, فَسَآءَ and was evil مَطَرُ (the) rain ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ (on) those who were warned.
English - And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. .
हिंदी - और हमने उन लोगों पर मेंह बरसाया तो जो लोग डराए जा चुके थे उन पर क्या बुरा मेंह बरसा।.
Ayah 59
قُلِ Say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praise (be) لِلَّهِ to Allah, وَسَلَٰمٌ and peace (be) عَلَىٰ upon عِبَادِهِ His slaves ٱلَّذِينَ those whom ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ He has chosen. ءَآللَّهُ Is Allah خَيْرٌ better أَمَّا or what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him)?"
English - Say, [O Muhammad], “Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?” .
हिंदी - तुम कह दो खुदा का शुक्र और उसके बरगुज़ीदा बन्दों पर सलाम भला ख़ुदा बेहतर है या वह चीज़ जिसे ये लोग शरीके ख़ुदा कहते हैं।.
Ayah 60
أَمَّنْ Or Who خَلَقَ has created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth وَأَنزَلَ and sent down لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water? فَأَنۢبَتْنَا And We caused to grow بِهِۦ thereby حَدَآئِقَ gardens ذَاتَ of beauty (and delight), بَهْجَةٍ of beauty (and delight), مَّا not كَانَ it is لَكُمْ for you أَن that تُنۢبِتُوا۟ you cause to grow شَجَرَهَآ their trees. أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? بَلْ Nay, هُمْ they قَوْمٌ (are) a people يَعْدِلُونَ who ascribe equals.
English - [More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him]. .
हिंदी - भला वह कौन है जिसने आसमान और ज़मीन को पैदा किया और तुम्हारे वास्ते आसमान से पानी बरसाया फिर हम ही ने पानी से दिल चस्प बाग़ उठाए तुम्हारे तो ये बस की बात न थी कि तुम उनके दरख्तों को उगा सकते तो क्या ख़ुदा के साथ कोई और माबूद भी है बल्कि ये लोग खुद अपने जी से गढ़ के बुतो को उसके बराबर बनाते हैं।.
Ayah 61
أَمَّن Or Who جَعَلَ made ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth قَرَارًا a firm abode وَجَعَلَ and made خِلَٰلَهَآ (in) its midst أَنْهَٰرًا rivers وَجَعَلَ and made لَهَا for it رَوَٰسِىَ firm mountains وَجَعَلَ and made بَيْنَ between ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ the two seas حَاجِزًا a barrier? أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? بَلْ Nay, أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - भला वह कौन है जिसने ज़मीन को ठहरने की जगह बनाया और उसके दरमियान जा बजा नहरें दौड़ायी और उसकी मज़बूती के वास्ते पहाड़ बनाए और दरियाओं के दरमियान हदे फासिल बनाया तो क्या ख़ुदा के साथ कोई और माबूद भी है बल्कि उनमें के अकसर कुछ जानते ही नहीं।.
Ayah 62
أَمَّن Or Who يُجِيبُ responds ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ (to) the distressed one إِذَا when دَعَاهُ he calls Him وَيَكْشِفُ and He removes ٱلسُّوٓءَ the evil وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ and makes you خُلَفَآءَ inheritors ٱلْأَرْضِ (of) the earth? أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? قَلِيلًا Little مَّا (is) what تَذَكَّرُونَ you remember.
English - Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember. .
हिंदी - भला वह कौन है कि जब मुज़तर उसे पुकारे तो दुआ क़ुबूल करता है और मुसीबत को दूर करता है और तुम लोगों को ज़मीन में नायब बनाता है तो क्या ख़ुदा के साथ कोई और माबूद है उस पर भी तुम लोग बहुत कम नसीहत व इबरत हासिल करते हो।.
Ayah 63
أَمَّن Or Who, يَهْدِيكُمْ guides you فِى in ظُلُمَٰتِ (the) darkness[es] ٱلْبَرِّ (of) the land وَٱلْبَحْرِ and the sea وَمَن and Who يُرْسِلُ sends ٱلرِّيَٰحَ the winds بُشْرًۢا (as) glad tidings بَيْنَ before يَدَىْ before رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ His Mercy? أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? تَعَٰلَى High is ٱللَّهُ Allah عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him).
English - Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allah? High is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - भला वह कौन है जो तुम लोगों की ख़़ुश्की और तरी की तारिक़ियों में राह दिखाता है और कौन उसकी बाराने रहमत के आगे आगे ख़ुशखबरी लेकर हवाओं को भेजता है-क्या ख़ुदा के साथ कोई और माबूद भी है ये लोग जिन चीज़ों को ख़ुदा का शरीक ठहराते हैं ख़ुदा उससे बालातर है।.
Ayah 64
أَمَّن Or Who يَبْدَؤُا۟ originates ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation ثُمَّ then يُعِيدُهُۥ repeats it وَمَن and Who يَرْزُقُكُم provides you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth? أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? قُلْ Say, هَاتُوا۟ "Bring forth بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ your proof إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful."
English - Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Say, “Produce your proof, if you should be truthful.” .
हिंदी - भला वह कौन हैं जो खि़लकत को नए सिरे से पैदा करता है फिर उसे दोबारा पैदा करेगा और कौन है जो तुम लोगों को आसमान व ज़मीन से रिज़क़ देता है- तो क्या ख़ुदा के साथ कोई और माबूद भी है तुम कहा दो कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो अपनी दलील पेश करो।.
Ayah 65
قُل Say, لَّا "No (one) يَعْلَمُ knows مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth ٱلْغَيْبَ (of) the unseen إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah, وَمَا and not يَشْعُرُونَ they perceive أَيَّانَ when يُبْعَثُونَ they will be resurrected."
English - Say, “None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.” .
हिंदी - तुम कह दो कि जितने लोग आसमान व ज़मीन में हैं उनमे से कोई भी गैब की बात के सिवा नहीं जानता और वह भी तो नहीं समझते कि क़ब्र से दोबारा कब ज़िन्दा उठ खडे क़िए जाएँगें।.
Ayah 66
بَلِ Nay, ٱدَّٰرَكَ is arrested عِلْمُهُمْ their knowledge فِى of ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter? بَلْ Nay هُمْ they فِى (are) in شَكٍّ doubt مِّنْهَا about it. بَلْ Nay, هُم they مِّنْهَا about it عَمُونَ (are) blind.
English - Rather, their knowledge is arrested concerning the Hereafter. Rather, they are in doubt about it. Rather, they are, concerning it, blind. .
हिंदी - बल्कि आखि़रत के बारे में उनके इल्म का ख़ात्मा हो गया है बल्कि उसकी तरफ से शक में पड़ें हैं बल्कि इससे ये लोग अंधे बने हुए हैं।.
Ayah 67
وَقَالَ And say ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve, أَءِذَا "What, when كُنَّا we have become تُرَٰبًا dust وَءَابَآؤُنَآ and our forefathers, أَئِنَّا will we لَمُخْرَجُونَ surely be brought out?
English - And those who disbelieve say, “When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? .
हिंदी - और कुफ्फार कहने लगे कि क्या जब हम और हमारे बाप दादा मिट्टी हो जाएँगें तो क्या हम फिर निकाले जाएँगें।.
Ayah 68
لَقَدْ Certainly, وُعِدْنَا we have been promised هَٰذَا this, نَحْنُ we وَءَابَآؤُنَا and our forefathers مِن before. قَبْلُ before. إِنْ Not هَٰذَآ (is) this إِلَّآ except أَسَٰطِيرُ tales ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people)."
English - We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples.” .
हिंदी - उसका तो पहले भी हम से और हमारे बाप दादाओं से वायदा किया गया था ये तो हो न हो अगले लोगों के ढकोसले हैं।.
Ayah 69
قُلْ Say, سِيرُوا۟ "Travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land, فَٱنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ (of) the criminals."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], “Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals.” .
हिंदी - कह दो कि रुए ज़मीन पर ज़रा चल फिर कर देखो तो गुनाहगारों का अन्जाम क्या हुआ।.
Ayah 70
وَلَا And (do) not تَحْزَنْ grieve عَلَيْهِمْ over them وَلَا and not تَكُن be فِى in ضَيْقٍ distress مِّمَّا from what يَمْكُرُونَ they plot.
English - And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. .
हिंदी - और तुम उनके हाल पर कुछ अफ़सोस न करो और जो चालें ये लोग चल रहे हैं उससे तंग दिल न हो।.
Ayah 71
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, مَتَىٰ "When هَٰذَا (will) this ٱلْوَعْدُ promise (be fulfilled), إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful."
English - And they say, “When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?” .
हिंदी - और ये पूछते हैं कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो ये वादा कब पूरा होगा।.
Ayah 72
قُلْ Say, عَسَىٰٓ "Perhaps أَن that يَكُونَ is رَدِفَ close behind لَكُم you, بَعْضُ some ٱلَّذِى (of) that which تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ you seek to hasten."
English - Say, “Perhaps it is close behind you – some of that for which you are impatient. .
हिंदी - तुम कह दो कि जिस की तुम लोग जल्दी मचा रहे हो क्या अजब है इसमे से कुछ करीब आ गया हो।.
Ayah 73
وَإِنَّ And indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord لَذُو (is) full of Bounty فَضْلٍ (is) full of Bounty عَلَى for ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَهُمْ most of them لَا (are) not يَشْكُرُونَ grateful.
English - And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude.” .
हिंदी - और इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि तुम्हारा परवरदिगार लोगों पर बड़ा फज़ल व करम करने वाला है मगर बहुतेरे लोग शुक्र नहीं करते।.
Ayah 74
وَإِنَّ And indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord لَيَعْلَمُ surely knows مَا what تُكِنُّ conceals صُدُورُهُمْ their breasts وَمَا and what يُعْلِنُونَ they declare.
English - And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. .
हिंदी - और इसमें तो शक नहीं जो बातें उनके दिलों में पोशीदा हैं और जो कुछ ये एलानिया करते हैं तुम्हारा परवरदिगार यक़ीनी जानता है।.
Ayah 75
وَمَا And not (is) مِنْ any (thing) غَآئِبَةٍ hidden فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth إِلَّا but فِى (is) in كِتَٰبٍ a Record مُّبِينٍ clear.
English - And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. .
हिंदी - और आसमान व ज़मीन में कोई ऐसी बात पोशीदा नहीं जो वाज़ेए व रौशन किताब में मौजूद न हो।.
Ayah 76
إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذَا this ٱلْقُرْءَانَ [the] Quran يَقُصُّ relates عَلَىٰ to بَنِىٓ (the) Children إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (of) Israel, أَكْثَرَ most ٱلَّذِى (of) that هُمْ they فِيهِ in it يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ.
English - Indeed, this Qur’an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. .
हिंदी - इसमें भी शक नहीं कि ये क़ुरान बनी इसराइल पर उनकी अक्सर बातों को जिन में ये इख्तेलाफ़ करते हैं ज़ाहिर कर देता है।.
Ayah 77
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَهُدًى (is) surely a guidance وَرَحْمَةٌ and a mercy لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers.
English - And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. .
हिंदी - और इसमें भी शक नहीं कि ये कुरान ईमानदारों के वास्ते अज़सरतापा हिदायत व रहमत है।.
Ayah 78
إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord يَقْضِى will judge بَيْنَهُم between them بِحُكْمِهِۦ by His Judgment, وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower.
English - Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgment. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. .
हिंदी - बेशक तुम्हारा परवरदिगार अपने हुक्म से उनके आपस का फैसला कर देगा और वह ग़ालिब और वाक़िफकार है।.
Ayah 79
فَتَوَكَّلْ So put your trust عَلَى in ٱللَّهِ Allah, إِنَّكَ indeed, you عَلَى (are) on ٱلْحَقِّ the truth ٱلْمُبِينِ manifest.
English - So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. .
हिंदी - तो तुम खुदा पर भरोसा रखो बेशक तुम यक़ीनी सरीही हक़ पर हो।.
Ayah 80
إِنَّكَ Indeed, you لَا (can) not تُسْمِعُ cause to hear ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ the dead وَلَا and not تُسْمِعُ can you cause to hear ٱلصُّمَّ the deaf ٱلدُّعَآءَ the call إِذَا when وَلَّوْا۟ they turn back مُدْبِرِينَ retreating.
English - Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. .
हिंदी - बेशक न तो तुम मुर्दों को सुना सकते हो और न बहरों को अपनी आवाज़ सुना सकते हो जब वह पीठ फेर कर भाग ख़डें हो।.
Ayah 81
وَمَآ And not أَنتَ (can) you بِهَٰدِى guide ٱلْعُمْىِ the blind عَن from ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ their error. إِن Not تُسْمِعُ you can cause to hear إِلَّا except مَن (those) who يُؤْمِنُ believe بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا in Our Signs فَهُم so they مُّسْلِمُونَ (are) Muslims.
English - And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. .
हिंदी - और न तुम अंधें को उनकी गुमराही से राह पर ला सकते हो तुम तो बस उन्हीं लोगों को सुना सकते हो जो हमारी आयतों पर ईमान रखते हैं।.
Ayah 82
وَإِذَا And when وَقَعَ (is) fulfilled ٱلْقَوْلُ the word عَلَيْهِمْ against them, أَخْرَجْنَا We will bring forth لَهُمْ for them دَآبَّةً a creature مِّنَ from ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth تُكَلِّمُهُمْ speaking to them, أَنَّ that ٱلنَّاسَ the people كَانُوا۟ were, بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا of Our Signs, لَا not يُوقِنُونَ certain.
English - And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. .
हिंदी - फिर वही लोग तो मानने वाले भी हैं जब उन लोगों पर वायदा पूरा होगा तो हम उनके वास्ते ज़मीन से एक चलने वाला निकाल खड़ा करेंगे जो उनसे ये बाते करेंगा कि लोग हमारी आयतो का यक़ीन नहीं रखते थे।.
Ayah 83
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day نَحْشُرُ We will gather مِن from كُلِّ every أُمَّةٍ nation فَوْجًا a troop مِّمَّن of (those) who يُكَذِّبُ deny بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا Our Signs, فَهُمْ and they يُوزَعُونَ will be set in rows.
English - And [warn of] the Day when We will gather from every nation a company of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows .
हिंदी - और जिस दिन हम हर उम्मत से एक ऐसे गिरोह को जो हमारी आयतों को झुठलाया करते थे जमा करेंगे फिर उन की टोलियाँ अलग अलग करेंगे।.
Ayah 84
حَتَّىٰٓ Until, إِذَا when جَآءُو they come, قَالَ He will say, أَكَذَّبْتُم "Did you deny بِـَٔايَٰتِى My Signs وَلَمْ while not تُحِيطُوا۟ you encompassed بِهَا them عِلْمًا (in) knowledge, أَمَّاذَا or what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do?"
English - Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgment], He will say, “Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?” .
हिंदी - यहाँ तक कि जब वह सब आएँगें और ख़ुदा उनसे कहेगा क्या तुम ने हमारी आयतों को बगैर अच्छी तरह समझे बूझे झुठलाया-भला तुम क्या क्या करते थे और चूँकि ये लोग ज़ुल्म किया करते थे।.
Ayah 85
وَوَقَعَ And (will be) fulfilled ٱلْقَوْلُ the word عَلَيْهِم against them بِمَا because ظَلَمُوا۟ they wronged, فَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يَنطِقُونَ speak.
English - And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak. .
हिंदी - इन पर वादा पूरा हो गया फिर ये लोग कुछ बोल भी तो न सकेंगें।.
Ayah 86
أَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see أَنَّا that We جَعَلْنَا [We] have made ٱلَّيْلَ the night لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ that they may rest فِيهِ in it, وَٱلنَّهَارَ and the day مُبْصِرًا giving visibility? إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ who believe.
English - Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. .
हिंदी - क्या इन लोगों ने ये भी न देखा कि हमने रात को इसलिए बनाया कि ये लोग इसमे चौन करें और दिन को रौशन बेशक इसमें ईमान लाने वालों के लिए बहुत सी निशानियाँ हैं।.
Ayah 87
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day يُنفَخُ will be blown فِى [in] ٱلصُّورِ the trumpet فَفَزِعَ and will be terrified مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَن and whoever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth إِلَّا except مَن whom شَآءَ Allah wills. ٱللَّهُ Allah wills. وَكُلٌّ And all أَتَوْهُ (will) come to Him دَٰخِرِينَ humbled.
English - And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled. .
हिंदी - और जिस दिन सूर फूँका जाएगा तो जितने लोग आसमानों मे हैं और जितने लोग ज़मीन में हैं दहल जाएंगें मगर जिस शख्स को ख़ुदा चाहे और सब लोग उसकी बारगाह में ज़िल्लत व आजिज़ी की हालत में हाज़िर होगें।.
Ayah 88
وَتَرَى And you see ٱلْجِبَالَ the mountains, تَحْسَبُهَا thinking them جَامِدَةً firmly fixed, وَهِىَ while they تَمُرُّ will pass مَرَّ (as the) passing ٱلسَّحَابِ (of) the clouds. صُنْعَ (The) Work ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلَّذِىٓ Who أَتْقَنَ perfected كُلَّ all شَىْءٍ things. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware بِمَا of what تَفْعَلُونَ you do.
English - And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do. .
हिंदी - और तुम पहाड़ों को देखकर उन्हें मज़बूर जमे हुए समझतें हो हालाकि ये बादल की तरह उड़े उडे फ़िरेगें, ख़ुदा की कारीगरी है कि जिसने हर चीज़ को ख़ूब मज़बूत बनाया है बेशक जो कुछ तुम लोग करते हो उससे वह ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है।.
Ayah 89
مَن Whoever جَآءَ comes بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ with the good, فَلَهُۥ then for him خَيْرٌ (will be) better مِّنْهَا than it, وَهُم and they, مِّن from فَزَعٍ (the) terror يَوْمَئِذٍ (of) that Day ءَامِنُونَ (will be) safe.
English - Whoever comes [at Judgment] with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that Day, will be safe. .
हिंदी - जो शख्स नेक काम करेगा उसके लिए उसकी जज़ा उससे कहीं बेहतर है ओर ये लोग उस दिन ख़ौफ व ख़तरे से महफूज़ रहेंगे।.
Ayah 90
وَمَن And whoever جَآءَ comes بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ with the evil, فَكُبَّتْ will be cast down وُجُوهُهُمْ their faces فِى in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire. هَلْ "Are تُجْزَوْنَ you recompensed إِلَّا except مَا (for) what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do?"
English - And whoever comes with an evil deed – their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], “Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?” .
हिंदी - और जो लोग बुरा काम करेंगे वह मुँह के बल जहन्नुम में झोक दिए जाएँगे जो कुछ तुम करते थे बस उसी का जज़ा तुम्हें दी जाएगी।.
Ayah 91
إِنَّمَآ "Only أُمِرْتُ I am commanded أَنْ that أَعْبُدَ I worship رَبَّ (the) Lord هَٰذِهِ (of) this ٱلْبَلْدَةِ city, ٱلَّذِى the One Who حَرَّمَهَا made it sacred وَلَهُۥ and to Him (belongs) كُلُّ all شَىْءٍ things. وَأُمِرْتُ And I am commanded أَنْ that أَكُونَ I be مِنَ of ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ the Muslims
English - [Say, O Muhammad], “I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allah] .
हिंदी - मुझे तो बस यही हुक्म दिया गया है कि मै इस शहर के मालिक की इबादत करुँ जिसने उसे इज्ज़त व हुरमत दी है और हर चीज़ उसकी है और मुझे ये हुक्म दिया गया कि मैं फरमाबरदार बन्दों में से हूँ।.
Ayah 92
وَأَنْ And that أَتْلُوَا۟ I recite ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran." فَمَنِ And whoever ٱهْتَدَىٰ accepts guidance فَإِنَّمَا then only يَهْتَدِى he accepts guidance لِنَفْسِهِۦ for himself; وَمَن and whoever ضَلَّ goes astray فَقُلْ then say, إِنَّمَآ "Only أَنَا۠ I am مِنَ of ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ the warners."
English - And to recite the Qur’an.” And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays – say, “I am only [one] of the warners.” .
हिंदी - और ये कि मै क़ुरान पढ़ा करुँ फिर जो शख्स राह पर आया तो अपनी ज़ात के नफे क़े वास्ते राह पर आया और जो गुमराह हुआ तो तुम कह दो कि मै भी एक एक डराने वाला हूँ।.
Ayah 93
وَقُلِ And say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praise (be) لِلَّهِ to Allah, سَيُرِيكُمْ He will show you ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs, فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا and you will recognize them. وَمَا And your Lord is not رَبُّكَ And your Lord is not بِغَٰفِلٍ unaware عَمَّا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do."
English - And say, “[All] praise is [due] to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.” .
हिंदी - और तुम कह दो कि अल्हमदोलिल्लाह वह अनक़रीब तुम्हें निशानियाँ दिखा देगा तो तुम उन्हें पहचान लोगे और जो कुछ तुम करते हो तुम्हारा परवरदिगार उससे ग़ाफिल नहीं है।.
