Ayah 1
قَدْ Indeed, أَفْلَحَ successful ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ (are) the believers
English - Certainly will the believers have succeeded: .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 2
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who هُمْ [they] فِى during صَلَاتِهِمْ their prayers خَٰشِعُونَ (are) humbly submissive,
English - They who are during their prayer humbly submissive .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 3
وَٱلَّذِينَ Those who هُمْ [they] عَنِ from ٱللَّغْوِ the vain talk مُعْرِضُونَ turn away,
English - And they who turn away from ill speech .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 4
وَٱلَّذِينَ Those who هُمْ [they] لِلزَّكَوٰةِ of purification works فَٰعِلُونَ (are) doers,
English - And they who are observant of zakah .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 5
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُمْ [they] لِفُرُوجِهِمْ of their modesty حَٰفِظُونَ (are) guardians
English - And they who guard their private parts .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 6
إِلَّا Except عَلَىٰٓ from أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ their spouses أَوْ or مَا what مَلَكَتْ possess أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ their right hands فَإِنَّهُمْ then indeed, they غَيْرُ (are) not مَلُومِينَ blameworthy.
English - Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 7
فَمَنِ Then whoever ٱبْتَغَىٰ seeks وَرَآءَ beyond ذَٰلِكَ that فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those هُمُ [they] ٱلْعَادُونَ (are) the transgressors.
English - But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 8
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُمْ [they] لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمْ of their trusts وَعَهْدِهِمْ and their promise(s) رَٰعُونَ (are) observers
English - And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 9
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُمْ [they] عَلَىٰ over صَلَوَٰتِهِمْ their prayers يُحَافِظُونَ they guard
English - And they who carefully maintain their prayers – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 10
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those هُمُ [they] ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ (are) the inheritors
English - Those are the inheritors .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 11
ٱلَّذِينَ Who يَرِثُونَ will inherit ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ the Paradise. هُمْ They فِيهَا therein خَٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever.
English - Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 12
وَلَقَدْ And indeed, خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ the humankind مِن from سُلَٰلَةٍ an essence مِّن of طِينٍ clay.
English - And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 13
ثُمَّ Then جَعَلْنَٰهُ We placed him نُطْفَةً (as) a semen-drop فِى in قَرَارٍ a resting place مَّكِينٍ firm.
English - Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 14
ثُمَّ Then خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلنُّطْفَةَ the semen-drop عَلَقَةً (into) a clinging substance, فَخَلَقْنَا then We created ٱلْعَلَقَةَ the clinging substance مُضْغَةً (into) an embryonic lump, فَخَلَقْنَا then We created ٱلْمُضْغَةَ the embryonic lump, عِظَٰمًا (into) bones, فَكَسَوْنَا then We clothed ٱلْعِظَٰمَ the bones لَحْمًا (with) flesh; ثُمَّ then أَنشَأْنَٰهُ We produce it خَلْقًا (as) a creation ءَاخَرَ another. فَتَبَارَكَ So blessed is ٱللَّهُ Allah أَحْسَنُ (the) Best ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ (of) the Creators.
English - Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators. .

Ayah 15
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّكُم indeed, you بَعْدَ after ذَٰلِكَ that لَمَيِّتُونَ surely (will) die.
English - Then indeed, after that you are to die. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 16
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّكُمْ indeed, you يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, تُبْعَثُونَ will be resurrected.
English - Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 17
وَلَقَدْ And indeed, خَلَقْنَا We (have) created فَوْقَكُمْ above you سَبْعَ seven طَرَآئِقَ paths وَمَا and not كُنَّا We are عَنِ of ٱلْخَلْقِ the creation غَٰفِلِينَ unaware.
English - And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 18
وَأَنزَلْنَا And We send down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءًۢ water, بِقَدَرٍ in (due) measure فَأَسْكَنَّٰهُ then We cause it to settle فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَإِنَّا And indeed, We, عَلَىٰ on ذَهَابٍۭ taking it away, بِهِۦ taking it away, لَقَٰدِرُونَ surely (are) Able.
English - And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 19
فَأَنشَأْنَا Then We produced لَكُم for you بِهِۦ by it جَنَّٰتٍ gardens مِّن of date-palms نَّخِيلٍ of date-palms وَأَعْنَٰبٍ and grapevines, لَّكُمْ for you, فِيهَا in it فَوَٰكِهُ (are) fruits كَثِيرَةٌ abundant وَمِنْهَا and from them تَأْكُلُونَ you eat.
English - And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 20
وَشَجَرَةً And a tree تَخْرُجُ (that) springs forth مِن from طُورِ Mount Sinai سَيْنَآءَ Mount Sinai تَنۢبُتُ (which) produces بِٱلدُّهْنِ oil وَصِبْغٍ and a relish لِّلْءَاكِلِينَ for those who eat.
English - And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 21
وَإِنَّ And indeed, لَكُمْ for you فِى in ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ the cattle لَعِبْرَةً surely, (is) a lesson. نُّسْقِيكُم We give you drink مِّمَّا from what فِى (is) in بُطُونِهَا their bellies, وَلَكُمْ and for you فِيهَا in them مَنَٰفِعُ (are) benefits كَثِيرَةٌ many وَمِنْهَا and of them تَأْكُلُونَ you eat.
English - And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. .

Ayah 22
وَعَلَيْهَا And on them وَعَلَى and on ٱلْفُلْكِ [the] ships تُحْمَلُونَ you are carried.
English - And upon them and on ships you are carried. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 23
وَلَقَدْ And verily أَرْسَلْنَا We sent نُوحًا Nuh إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِۦ his people, فَقَالَ and he said, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! ٱعْبُدُوا۟ Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah; مَا not لَكُم for you مِّنْ (is) any إِلَٰهٍ god غَيْرُهُۥٓ other than Him. أَفَلَا Then will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear?"
English - And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?” .

Ayah 24
فَقَالَ But said ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ the chiefs ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved مِن among قَوْمِهِۦ his people, مَا "This is not هَٰذَآ "This is not إِلَّا but بَشَرٌ a man مِّثْلُكُمْ like you, يُرِيدُ he wishes أَن to يَتَفَضَّلَ assert (his) superiority عَلَيْكُمْ over you, وَلَوْ and if شَآءَ Allah had willed ٱللَّهُ Allah had willed لَأَنزَلَ surely He (would have) sent down مَلَٰٓئِكَةً Angels. مَّا Not سَمِعْنَا we heard بِهَٰذَا of this فِىٓ from ءَابَآئِنَا our forefathers. ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ our forefathers.
English - But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, “This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 25
إِنْ Not هُوَ he إِلَّا (is) but رَجُلٌۢ a man بِهِۦ in him جِنَّةٌ (is) madness, فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ so wait بِهِۦ concerning him حَتَّىٰ until حِينٍ a time."
English - He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 26
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord! ٱنصُرْنِى Help me بِمَا because كَذَّبُونِ they deny me."
English - [Noah] said, “My Lord, support me because they have denied me.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 27
فَأَوْحَيْنَآ So We inspired إِلَيْهِ to him, أَنِ "That ٱصْنَعِ construct ٱلْفُلْكَ the ship بِأَعْيُنِنَا under Our eyes, وَوَحْيِنَا and Our inspiration, فَإِذَا then when جَآءَ comes أَمْرُنَا Our Command وَفَارَ and gushes forth ٱلتَّنُّورُ the oven, فَٱسْلُكْ then put فِيهَا into it مِن of كُلٍّ every (kind) زَوْجَيْنِ (of) mates ٱثْنَيْنِ two وَأَهْلَكَ and your family, إِلَّا except مَن those سَبَقَ (has) preceded عَلَيْهِ against whom ٱلْقَوْلُ the Word مِنْهُمْ thereof. وَلَا And (do) not تُخَٰطِبْنِى address Me فِى concerning ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوٓا۟ wronged, إِنَّهُم indeed, they مُّغْرَقُونَ (are) the ones to be drowned.
English - So We inspired to him, “Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 28
فَإِذَا And when ٱسْتَوَيْتَ you (have) boarded أَنتَ you, وَمَن and whoever مَّعَكَ (is) with you عَلَى [on] ٱلْفُلْكِ the ship فَقُلِ then say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "Praise لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah, ٱلَّذِى Who نَجَّىٰنَا (has) saved us مِنَ from ٱلْقَوْمِ the people - ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers."
English - And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, ‘Praise to Allah who has saved us form the wrongdoing people.’ .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 29
وَقُل And say, رَّبِّ "My Lord, أَنزِلْنِى cause me to land مُنزَلًا (at) a landing place مُّبَارَكًا blessed, وَأَنتَ and You خَيْرُ (are) the Best ٱلْمُنزِلِينَ (of) those who cause to land.'"
English - And say, ‘My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].’ ” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 30
إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs, وَإِن and indeed, كُنَّا We are لَمُبْتَلِينَ surely testing.
English - Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 31
ثُمَّ Then أَنشَأْنَا We produced مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ after them قَرْنًا a generation ءَاخَرِينَ another.
English - Then We produced after them a generation of others. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 32
فَأَرْسَلْنَا And We sent فِيهِمْ among them رَسُولًا a Messenger مِّنْهُمْ from themselves أَنِ [that] ٱعْبُدُوا۟ "Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah; مَا not لَكُم for you مِّنْ (is) any إِلَٰهٍ god غَيْرُهُۥٓ other than Him. أَفَلَا Then will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear?"
English - And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], “Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 33
وَقَالَ And said ٱلْمَلَأُ the chiefs مِن of قَوْمِهِ his people ٱلَّذِينَ who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَكَذَّبُوا۟ and denied بِلِقَآءِ (the) meeting ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter, وَأَتْرَفْنَٰهُمْ while We had given them luxury فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, مَا "Not هَٰذَآ (is) this إِلَّا but بَشَرٌ a man مِّثْلُكُمْ like you. يَأْكُلُ He eats مِمَّا of what تَأْكُلُونَ you eat مِنْهُ [from it], وَيَشْرَبُ and he drinks مِمَّا of what تَشْرَبُونَ you drink.
English - And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, “This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 34
وَلَئِنْ And surely if أَطَعْتُم you obey بَشَرًا a man مِّثْلَكُمْ like you, إِنَّكُمْ indeed, you إِذًا then لَّخَٰسِرُونَ surely (will be) losers.
English - And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 35
أَيَعِدُكُمْ Does he promise you - أَنَّكُمْ that you إِذَا when مِتُّمْ you are dead وَكُنتُمْ and you become تُرَابًا dust وَعِظَٰمًا and bones أَنَّكُم that you مُّخْرَجُونَ (will be) brought forth?
English - Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 36
هَيْهَاتَ Far-(fetched), هَيْهَاتَ far-(fetched) لِمَا is what تُوعَدُونَ you are promised!
English - How far, how far, is that which you are promised. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 37
إِنْ Not هِىَ it إِلَّا (is) but حَيَاتُنَا our life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, نَمُوتُ we die وَنَحْيَا and we live, وَمَا and not نَحْنُ we بِمَبْعُوثِينَ (will be) resurrected.
English - Life is not but our worldly life – we die and live, but we will not be resurrected. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 38
إِنْ Not هُوَ (is) he إِلَّا but رَجُلٌ a man ٱفْتَرَىٰ who (has) invented عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah كَذِبًا a lie, وَمَا and not نَحْنُ we لَهُۥ (in) him بِمُؤْمِنِينَ (are) believers."
English - He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 39
قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord! ٱنصُرْنِى Help me بِمَا because كَذَّبُونِ they deny me."
English - He said, “My Lord, support me because they have denied me.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 40
قَالَ He said, عَمَّا "After a little while قَلِيلٍ "After a little while لَّيُصْبِحُنَّ surely they will become نَٰدِمِينَ regretful."
English - [Allah] said, “After a little, they will surely become regretful.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 41
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ So seized them ٱلصَّيْحَةُ the awful cry بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ and We made them غُثَآءً (as) rubbish of dead leaves. فَبُعْدًا So away لِّلْقَوْمِ with the people - ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 42
ثُمَّ Then أَنشَأْنَا We produced مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ after them قُرُونًا a generation ءَاخَرِينَ another.
English - Then We produced after them other generations. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 43
مَا Not تَسْبِقُ can precede مِنْ any أُمَّةٍ nation أَجَلَهَا its term, وَمَا and not يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ they (can) delay (it).
English - No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 44
ثُمَّ Then أَرْسَلْنَا We sent رُسُلَنَا Our Messengers تَتْرَا (in) succession. كُلَّ Every time مَا Every time جَآءَ came أُمَّةً (to) a nation رَّسُولُهَا its Messenger, كَذَّبُوهُ they denied him, فَأَتْبَعْنَا so We made (them) follow - بَعْضَهُم some of them بَعْضًا others, وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ and We made them أَحَادِيثَ narrations. فَبُعْدًا So away لِّقَوْمٍ with a people - لَّا not يُؤْمِنُونَ they believe.
English - Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 45
ثُمَّ Then أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مُوسَىٰ Musa وَأَخَاهُ and his brother هَٰرُونَ Harun بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا with Our Signs وَسُلْطَٰنٍ and an authority مُّبِينٍ clear
English - Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 46
إِلَىٰ To فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ and his chiefs, فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ but they behaved arrogantly وَكَانُوا۟ and they were قَوْمًا a people عَالِينَ haughty.
English - To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 47
فَقَالُوٓا۟ Then they said, أَنُؤْمِنُ "Shall we believe لِبَشَرَيْنِ (in) two men مِثْلِنَا like ourselves وَقَوْمُهُمَا while their people لَنَا for us عَٰبِدُونَ (are) slaves."
English - They said, “Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 48
فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا So they denied them فَكَانُوا۟ and they became مِنَ of ٱلْمُهْلَكِينَ those who were destroyed.
English - So they denied them and were of those destroyed. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 49
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ءَاتَيْنَا We gave مُوسَى Musa ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Scripture لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَهْتَدُونَ be guided.
English - And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 50
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made ٱبْنَ (the) son مَرْيَمَ (of) Maryam وَأُمَّهُۥٓ and his mother ءَايَةً a Sign, وَءَاوَيْنَٰهُمَآ and We sheltered them إِلَىٰ to رَبْوَةٍ a high ground, ذَاتِ of tranquility قَرَارٍ of tranquility وَمَعِينٍ and water springs.
English - And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 51
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O Messengers! ٱلرُّسُلُ O Messengers! كُلُوا۟ Eat مِنَ of ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ the good things وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ and do صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds). إِنِّى Indeed, I Am بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do عَلِيمٌ All-Knower.
English - [Allah said], “O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 52
وَإِنَّ And indeed هَٰذِهِۦٓ this, أُمَّتُكُمْ your religion, أُمَّةً (is) religion وَٰحِدَةً one. وَأَنَا۠ And I Am رَبُّكُمْ your Lord, فَٱتَّقُونِ so fear Me.
English - And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 53
فَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ But they cut off أَمْرَهُم their affair (of unity) بَيْنَهُمْ between them زُبُرًا (into) sects, كُلُّ each حِزْبٍۭ faction بِمَا in what لَدَيْهِمْ they have فَرِحُونَ rejoicing.
English - But the people divided their religion among them into sects – each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 54
فَذَرْهُمْ So leave them فِى in غَمْرَتِهِمْ their confusion حَتَّىٰ until حِينٍ a time.
English - So leave them in their confusion for a time. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 55
أَيَحْسَبُونَ Do they think أَنَّمَا that what نُمِدُّهُم We extend to them بِهِۦ [with it] مِن of مَّالٍ wealth وَبَنِينَ and children
English - Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 56
نُسَارِعُ We hasten لَهُمْ to them فِى in ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ the good? بَل Nay, لَّا not يَشْعُرُونَ they perceive.
English - Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 57
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who هُم [they] مِّنْ from خَشْيَةِ (the) fear رَبِّهِم (of) their Lord مُّشْفِقُونَ (are) cautious.
English - Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord .

Ayah 58
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those هُم [they] بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Signs رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord يُؤْمِنُونَ believe
English - And they who believe in the signs of their Lord .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 59
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those هُم [they] بِرَبِّهِمْ with their Lord لَا (do) not يُشْرِكُونَ associate partners.
English - And they who do not associate anything with their Lord .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 60
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يُؤْتُونَ give مَآ what ءَاتَوا۟ they give وَّقُلُوبُهُمْ while their hearts وَجِلَةٌ (are) fearful, أَنَّهُمْ because they إِلَىٰ to رَبِّهِمْ their Lord رَٰجِعُونَ (will) return
English - And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 61
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ (It is) those يُسَٰرِعُونَ who hasten فِى in ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ the good (deeds) وَهُمْ and they لَهَا in them سَٰبِقُونَ (are) foremost.
English - It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. .

Ayah 62
وَلَا And not نُكَلِّفُ We burden نَفْسًا any soul إِلَّا except وُسْعَهَا (to) its capacity, وَلَدَيْنَا and with Us كِتَٰبٌ (is) a Record يَنطِقُ (which) speaks بِٱلْحَقِّ with the truth; وَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged.
English - And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 63
بَلْ Nay, قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts فِى (are) in غَمْرَةٍ confusion مِّنْ over هَٰذَا this, وَلَهُمْ and for them أَعْمَٰلٌ (are) deeds مِّن besides دُونِ besides ذَٰلِكَ that, هُمْ they لَهَا for it عَٰمِلُونَ (are) doers
English - But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 64
حَتَّىٰٓ Until إِذَآ when أَخَذْنَا We seize مُتْرَفِيهِم their affluent ones بِٱلْعَذَابِ with the punishment, إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَجْـَٔرُونَ cry for help.
English - Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 65
لَا "(Do) not تَجْـَٔرُوا۟ cry for help ٱلْيَوْمَ today. إِنَّكُم Indeed, you مِّنَّا from Us لَا not تُنصَرُونَ will be helped.
English - Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 66
قَدْ Verily, كَانَتْ were ءَايَٰتِى My Verses تُتْلَىٰ recited عَلَيْكُمْ to you, فَكُنتُمْ but you used عَلَىٰٓ (to) on أَعْقَٰبِكُمْ your heels تَنكِصُونَ turn back
English - My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 67
مُسْتَكْبِرِينَ (Being) arrogant بِهِۦ about it, سَٰمِرًا conversing by night, تَهْجُرُونَ speaking evil."
English - In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 68
أَفَلَمْ Then, do not يَدَّبَّرُوا۟ they ponder ٱلْقَوْلَ the Word أَمْ or جَآءَهُم has come to them مَّا what لَمْ not يَأْتِ (had) come ءَابَآءَهُمُ (to) their forefathers? ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (to) their forefathers?
English - Then have they not reflected over the Qur’an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 69
أَمْ Or لَمْ (do) not يَعْرِفُوا۟ they recognize رَسُولَهُمْ their Messenger, فَهُمْ so they لَهُۥ (are) rejecting him? مُنكِرُونَ (are) rejecting him?
English - Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 70
أَمْ Or يَقُولُونَ they say, بِهِۦ "In him جِنَّةٌۢ (is) madness?" بَلْ Nay, جَآءَهُم he brought them بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth, وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ but most of them لِلْحَقِّ to the truth, كَٰرِهُونَ (are) averse.
English - Or do they say, “In him is madness?” Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 71
وَلَوِ But if ٱتَّبَعَ (had) followed ٱلْحَقُّ the truth أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires, لَفَسَدَتِ surely (would) have been corrupted ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضُ and the earth وَمَن and whoever فِيهِنَّ (is) therein. بَلْ Nay, أَتَيْنَٰهُم We have brought them بِذِكْرِهِمْ their reminder, فَهُمْ but they, عَن from ذِكْرِهِم their reminder, مُّعْرِضُونَ (are) turning away.
English - But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 72
أَمْ Or تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ you ask them خَرْجًا (for) a payment? فَخَرَاجُ But the payment رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord خَيْرٌ (is) best, وَهُوَ and He خَيْرُ (is) the Best ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ (of) the Providers.
English - Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 73
وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you لَتَدْعُوهُمْ certainly call them إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ (the) Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight.
English - And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 74
وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter عَنِ from ٱلصِّرَٰطِ the path لَنَٰكِبُونَ surely (are) deviating.
English - But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 75
وَلَوْ And if رَحِمْنَٰهُمْ We had mercy on them وَكَشَفْنَا and We removed مَا what بِهِم (was) on them مِّن of ضُرٍّ (the) hardship, لَّلَجُّوا۟ surely they would persist فِى in طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ their transgression يَعْمَهُونَ wandering blindly.
English - And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 76
وَلَقَدْ And verily أَخَذْنَٰهُم We seized them بِٱلْعَذَابِ with the punishment فَمَا but not ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ they submit لِرَبِّهِمْ to their Lord وَمَا and not يَتَضَرَّعُونَ they supplicate humbly
English - And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 77
حَتَّىٰٓ Until إِذَا when فَتَحْنَا We opened عَلَيْهِم for them بَابًا a gate ذَا of a punishment عَذَابٍ of a punishment شَدِيدٍ severe, إِذَا behold! هُمْ They فِيهِ in it مُبْلِسُونَ (will be in) despair.
English - Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 78
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَنشَأَ produced لَكُمُ for you ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ and the sight وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ and the feeling; قَلِيلًا little مَّا (is) what تَشْكُرُونَ you give thanks.
English - And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 79
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who ذَرَأَكُمْ multiplied you فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him تُحْشَرُونَ you will be gathered.
English - And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 80
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُحْىِۦ gives life وَيُمِيتُ and causes death وَلَهُ and for Him ٱخْتِلَٰفُ (is the) alternation ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day. أَفَلَا Then will not تَعْقِلُونَ you reason?
English - And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 81
بَلْ Nay, قَالُوا۟ they say مِثْلَ (the) like مَا (of) what قَالَ said ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ the former (people).
English - Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 82
قَالُوٓا۟ They said, أَءِذَا "What! When مِتْنَا we are dead وَكُنَّا and become تُرَابًا dust وَعِظَٰمًا and bones, أَءِنَّا would we لَمَبْعُوثُونَ surely be resurrected?
English - They said, “When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 83
لَقَدْ Verily, وُعِدْنَا we have been promised نَحْنُ [we] وَءَابَآؤُنَا and our forefathers هَٰذَا this مِن before; قَبْلُ before; إِنْ not هَٰذَآ (is) this إِلَّآ but أَسَٰطِيرُ (the) tales ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people)."
English - We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 84
قُل Say, لِّمَنِ "To whom (belongs) ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth وَمَن and whoever فِيهَآ (is) in it, إِن if كُنتُمْ you تَعْلَمُونَ know?"
English - Say, [O Muhammad], “To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 85
سَيَقُولُونَ They will say, لِلَّهِ "To Allah." قُلْ Say, أَفَلَا "Then will not تَذَكَّرُونَ you remember?"
English - They will say, “To Allah.” Say, “Then will you not remember?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 86
قُلْ Say, مَن "Who رَّبُّ (is the) Lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the seven heavens ٱلسَّبْعِ (of) the seven heavens وَرَبُّ and (the) Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great?"
English - Say, “Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 87
سَيَقُولُونَ They will say, لِلَّهِ "Allah." قُلْ Say, أَفَلَا "Then will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear (Him)?"
English - They will say, “[They belong] to Allah.” Say, “Then will you not fear Him?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 88
قُلْ Say, مَنۢ Who is (it) بِيَدِهِۦ in Whose Hand(s) مَلَكُوتُ (is the) dominion كُلِّ (of) all شَىْءٍ things, وَهُوَ and He يُجِيرُ protects وَلَا and no (one) يُجَارُ (can) be protected عَلَيْهِ against Him, إِن If كُنتُمْ you تَعْلَمُونَ know?"
English - Say, “In whose hand is the realm of all things – and He protects while none can protect against Him – if you should know?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 89
سَيَقُولُونَ They will say, لِلَّهِ "Allah." قُلْ Say, فَأَنَّىٰ "Then how تُسْحَرُونَ are you deluded?"
English - They will say, “[All belongs] to Allah.” Say, “Then how are you deluded?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 90
بَلْ Nay, أَتَيْنَٰهُم We (have) brought them بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth, وَإِنَّهُمْ but indeed, they لَكَٰذِبُونَ surely, (are) liars.
English - Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 91
مَا Not ٱتَّخَذَ Allah has taken ٱللَّهُ Allah has taken مِن any وَلَدٍ son, وَمَا and not كَانَ is مَعَهُۥ with Him مِنْ any إِلَٰهٍ god. إِذًا Then لَّذَهَبَ surely (would have) taken away كُلُّ each إِلَٰهٍۭ god بِمَا what خَلَقَ he created, وَلَعَلَا and surely would have overpowered, بَعْضُهُمْ some of them عَلَىٰ [on] بَعْضٍ others. سُبْحَٰنَ Glory be ٱللَّهِ (to) Allah عَمَّا above what يَصِفُونَ they attribute!
English - Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 92
عَٰلِمِ Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the witnessed, فَتَعَٰلَىٰ exalted is He عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate.
English - [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 93
قُل Say, رَّبِّ "My Lord! إِمَّا If تُرِيَنِّى You should show me مَا what يُوعَدُونَ they are promised
English - Say, [O Muhammad], “My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 94
رَبِّ My Lord, فَلَا then (do) not تَجْعَلْنِى place me فِى among ٱلْقَوْمِ the people - ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers."
English - My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 95
وَإِنَّا And indeed We عَلَىٰٓ on أَن that نُّرِيَكَ We show you مَا what نَعِدُهُمْ We have promised them لَقَٰدِرُونَ surely able.
English - And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 96
ٱدْفَعْ Repel بِٱلَّتِى by that هِىَ which أَحْسَنُ (is) best - ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ the evil. نَحْنُ We أَعْلَمُ know best بِمَا of what يَصِفُونَ they attribute.
English - Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 97
وَقُل And say, رَّبِّ "My Lord! أَعُوذُ I seek refuge بِكَ in You مِنْ from هَمَزَٰتِ (the) suggestions ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ (of) the evil ones,
English - And say, “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 98
وَأَعُوذُ And I seek refuge بِكَ in You, رَبِّ My Lord! أَن Lest يَحْضُرُونِ they be present with me."
English - And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 99
حَتَّىٰٓ Until إِذَا when جَآءَ comes أَحَدَهُمُ (to) one of them ٱلْمَوْتُ the death قَالَ he says, رَبِّ "My Lord! ٱرْجِعُونِ Send me back
English - [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, “My Lord, send me back .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 100
لَعَلِّىٓ That I may أَعْمَلُ do صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds) فِيمَا in what تَرَكْتُ I left behind." كَلَّآ No! إِنَّهَا Indeed, it كَلِمَةٌ (is) a word هُوَ he قَآئِلُهَا speaks it, وَمِن and before them وَرَآئِهِم and before them بَرْزَخٌ (is) a barrier إِلَىٰ till يَوْمِ (the) Day يُبْعَثُونَ they are resurrected.
English - That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind.” No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 101
فَإِذَا So when نُفِخَ is blown فِى in ٱلصُّورِ the trumpet فَلَآ then not أَنسَابَ (there) will be relationship بَيْنَهُمْ among them يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day, وَلَا and not يَتَسَآءَلُونَ will they ask each other.
English - So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 102
فَمَن Then (the one) whose ثَقُلَتْ (are) heavy مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ his scales, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those - هُمُ they ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ (are) the successful.
English - And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] – it is they who are the successful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 103
وَمَنْ But (the one) whose خَفَّتْ (are) light مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ his scales, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those ٱلَّذِينَ they [who] خَسِرُوٓا۟ have lost أَنفُسَهُمْ their souls, فِى in جَهَنَّمَ Hell خَٰلِدُونَ they (will) abide forever.
English - But those whose scales are light – those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 104
تَلْفَحُ Will burn وُجُوهَهُمُ their faces ٱلنَّارُ the Fire, وَهُمْ and they فِيهَا in it كَٰلِحُونَ (will) grin with displaced lips.
English - The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 105
أَلَمْ "Were not تَكُنْ "Were not ءَايَٰتِى My Verses تُتْلَىٰ recited عَلَيْكُمْ to you, فَكُنتُم and you used (to) بِهَا deny them?" تُكَذِّبُونَ deny them?"
English - [It will be said]. “Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 106
قَالُوا۟ They (will) say, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord! غَلَبَتْ Overcame عَلَيْنَا [on] us شِقْوَتُنَا our wretchedness, وَكُنَّا and we were قَوْمًا a people ضَآلِّينَ astray.
English - They will say, “Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 107
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord! أَخْرِجْنَا Bring us out مِنْهَا from it, فَإِنْ then if عُدْنَا we return فَإِنَّا then indeed, we ظَٰلِمُونَ (would be) wrongdoers."
English - Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 108
قَالَ He (will) say, ٱخْسَـُٔوا۟ "Remain despised فِيهَا in it وَلَا and (do) not تُكَلِّمُونِ speak to Me."
English - He will say, “Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 109
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, كَانَ (there) was فَرِيقٌ a party مِّنْ of عِبَادِى My slaves يَقُولُونَ (who) said, رَبَّنَآ "Our Lord! ءَامَنَّا We believe, فَٱغْفِرْ so forgive لَنَا us وَٱرْحَمْنَا and have mercy on us, وَأَنتَ and You خَيْرُ (are) best ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ (of) those who show mercy."
English - Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, ‘Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.’ .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 110
فَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ But you took them سِخْرِيًّا (in) mockery حَتَّىٰٓ until أَنسَوْكُمْ they made you forget ذِكْرِى My remembrance, وَكُنتُم and you used (to) مِّنْهُمْ at them تَضْحَكُونَ laugh.
English - But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 111
إِنِّى Indeed, I جَزَيْتُهُمُ have rewarded them ٱلْيَوْمَ this Day بِمَا because صَبَرُوٓا۟ they were patient, أَنَّهُمْ indeed, they هُمُ [they] ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ (are) the successful ones.
English - Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance – that they are the attainers [of success].” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 112
قَٰلَ He will say, كَمْ "How long لَبِثْتُمْ did you remain فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, عَدَدَ (in) number سِنِينَ (of) years?"
English - [Allah] will say, “How long did you remain on earth in number of years?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 113
قَالُوا۟ They will say, لَبِثْنَا "We remained يَوْمًا a day أَوْ or بَعْضَ a part يَوْمٍ (of) a day; فَسْـَٔلِ but ask ٱلْعَآدِّينَ those who keep count."
English - They will say, “We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 114
قَٰلَ He will say, إِن "Not لَّبِثْتُمْ you stayed إِلَّا but قَلِيلًا a little, لَّوْ if أَنَّكُمْ only you كُنتُمْ [you] تَعْلَمُونَ knew.
English - He will say, “You stayed not but a little – if only you had known. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 115
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ Then did you think أَنَّمَا that خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ We created you عَبَثًا uselessly وَأَنَّكُمْ and that you إِلَيْنَا to Us لَا not تُرْجَعُونَ will be returned?"
English - Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 116
فَتَعَٰلَى So exalted is ٱللَّهُ Allah, ٱلْمَلِكُ the King, ٱلْحَقُّ the Truth. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him, رَبُّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne ٱلْكَرِيمِ Honorable.
English - So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 117
وَمَن And whoever يَدْعُ invokes مَعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah إِلَٰهًا god ءَاخَرَ other, لَا no بُرْهَٰنَ proof لَهُۥ for him بِهِۦ in it. فَإِنَّمَا Then only حِسَابُهُۥ his account عِندَ (is) with رَبِّهِۦٓ his Lord. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, [he] لَا not يُفْلِحُ will succeed ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers.
English - And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof – then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 118
وَقُل And say, رَّبِّ "My Lord! ٱغْفِرْ Forgive وَٱرْحَمْ and have mercy, وَأَنتَ and You خَيْرُ (are the) Best ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ (of) those who show mercy."
English - And, [O Muhammad], say, “My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.” .
हिंदी - .
