Ayah 1
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ O mankind! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear رَبَّكُمْ your Lord. إِنَّ Indeed, زَلْزَلَةَ (the) convulsion ٱلسَّاعَةِ (of) the Hour شَىْءٌ (is) a thing عَظِيمٌ great.
English - O mankind, fear your Lord. Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible thing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 2
يَوْمَ (The) Day تَرَوْنَهَا you will see it, تَذْهَلُ will forget كُلُّ every مُرْضِعَةٍ nursing mother عَمَّآ that which أَرْضَعَتْ she was nursing, وَتَضَعُ and will deliver كُلُّ every ذَاتِ pregnant woman حَمْلٍ pregnant woman حَمْلَهَا her load, وَتَرَى and you will see ٱلنَّاسَ [the] mankind سُكَٰرَىٰ intoxicated, وَمَا while not هُم they بِسُكَٰرَىٰ (are) intoxicated; وَلَٰكِنَّ but عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah شَدِيدٌ (will be) severe.
English - On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 3
وَمِنَ And among ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind مَن (is he) who يُجَٰدِلُ disputes فِى concerning ٱللَّهِ Allah بِغَيْرِ without عِلْمٍ knowledge وَيَتَّبِعُ and follows كُلَّ every شَيْطَٰنٍ devil مَّرِيدٍ rebellious.
English - And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge and follows every rebellious devil. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 4
كُتِبَ It has been decreed عَلَيْهِ for him أَنَّهُۥ that he مَن who تَوَلَّاهُ befriends him, فَأَنَّهُۥ then indeed, he يُضِلُّهُۥ will misguide him وَيَهْدِيهِ and will guide him إِلَىٰ to عَذَابِ (the) punishment ٱلسَّعِيرِ (of) the Blaze.
English - It has been decreed for every devil that whoever turns to him – he will misguide him and will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 5
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ O mankind! إِن If كُنتُمْ you are فِى in رَيْبٍ doubt مِّنَ about ٱلْبَعْثِ the Resurrection, فَإِنَّا then indeed, We خَلَقْنَٰكُم We created you مِّن from تُرَابٍ dust, ثُمَّ then مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a semen-drop ثُمَّ then مِنْ from عَلَقَةٍ a clinging substance ثُمَّ then مِن from مُّضْغَةٍ an embryonic lump, مُّخَلَّقَةٍ formed وَغَيْرِ and unformed, مُخَلَّقَةٍ and unformed, لِّنُبَيِّنَ that We may make clear لَكُمْ to you. وَنُقِرُّ And We cause to remain فِى in ٱلْأَرْحَامِ the wombs مَا what نَشَآءُ We will إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed, ثُمَّ then نُخْرِجُكُمْ We bring you out طِفْلًا (as) a child, ثُمَّ [then] لِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ that you may reach أَشُدَّكُمْ [your] maturity. وَمِنكُم And among you مَّن (is he) who يُتَوَفَّىٰ dies, وَمِنكُم and among you مَّن (is he) who يُرَدُّ is returned إِلَىٰٓ to أَرْذَلِ the most abject ٱلْعُمُرِ age, لِكَيْلَا so that not يَعْلَمَ he knows, مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after عِلْمٍ having known, شَيْـًٔا anything. وَتَرَى And you see ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth هَامِدَةً barren فَإِذَآ then when أَنزَلْنَا We send down عَلَيْهَا on it ٱلْمَآءَ water, ٱهْتَزَّتْ it gets stirred وَرَبَتْ and it swells وَأَنۢبَتَتْ and grows مِن of كُلِّ every زَوْجٍۭ kind بَهِيجٍ beautiful.
English - O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed – that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 6
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّ (is) because, ٱللَّهَ Allah - هُوَ He ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the Truth. وَأَنَّهُۥ And that He يُحْىِ [He] gives life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead, وَأَنَّهُۥ and that He عَلَىٰ (is) over كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - That is because Allah is the Truth and because He gives life to the dead and because He is over all things competent .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 7
وَأَنَّ And that ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour ءَاتِيَةٌ will come, لَّا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهَا about it, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَبْعَثُ will resurrect مَن (those) who فِى (are) in ٱلْقُبُورِ the graves.
English - And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming – no doubt about it – and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 8
وَمِنَ And among ٱلنَّاسِ mankind مَن (is he) who يُجَٰدِلُ disputes فِى concerning ٱللَّهِ Allah بِغَيْرِ without عِلْمٍ any knowledge وَلَا and not هُدًى any guidance وَلَا and not كِتَٰبٍ a Book مُّنِيرٍ enlightening,
English - And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening book [from Him], .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 9
ثَانِىَ Twisting عِطْفِهِۦ his neck لِيُضِلَّ to mislead عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. لَهُۥ For him فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world خِزْىٌ (is) disgrace, وَنُذِيقُهُۥ and We will make him taste يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) Resurrection عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْحَرِيقِ (of) the Burning Fire.
English - Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allah. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said], .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 10
ذَٰلِكَ That بِمَا (is) for what قَدَّمَتْ have sent forth يَدَاكَ your hands, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah لَيْسَ is not بِظَلَّٰمٍ unjust لِّلْعَبِيدِ to His slaves.
English - “That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 11
وَمِنَ And among ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind مَن (is he) who يَعْبُدُ worships ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ on حَرْفٍ an edge. فَإِنْ And if أَصَابَهُۥ befalls him خَيْرٌ good, ٱطْمَأَنَّ he is content بِهِۦ with it, وَإِنْ and if أَصَابَتْهُ befalls him فِتْنَةٌ a trial ٱنقَلَبَ he turns عَلَىٰ on وَجْهِهِۦ his face. خَسِرَ He has lost ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةَ and the Hereafter. ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ [it] ٱلْخُسْرَانُ (is) the loss ٱلْمُبِينُ clear.
English - And of the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 12
يَدْعُوا۟ He calls مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا what لَا not يَضُرُّهُۥ harms him وَمَا and what لَا not يَنفَعُهُۥ benefits him. ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ [it] ٱلضَّلَٰلُ (is) the straying ٱلْبَعِيدُ far away.
English - He invokes instead of Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 13
يَدْعُوا۟ He calls لَمَن (one) who - ضَرُّهُۥٓ his harm أَقْرَبُ (is) closer مِن than نَّفْعِهِۦ his benefit. لَبِئْسَ Surely, an evil ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ protector وَلَبِئْسَ and surely an evil ٱلْعَشِيرُ friend!
English - He invokes one whose harm is closer than his benefit – how wretched the protector and how wretched the associate. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 14
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُدْخِلُ will admit ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ the righteous deeds جَنَّٰتٍ (to) Gardens تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَفْعَلُ does مَا what يُرِيدُ He intends.
English - Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allah does what He intends. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 15
مَن Whoever كَانَ [is] يَظُنُّ thinks أَن that لَّن not يَنصُرَهُ Allah will help him ٱللَّهُ Allah will help him فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ and the Hereafter, فَلْيَمْدُدْ then let him extend بِسَبَبٍ a rope إِلَى to ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky, ثُمَّ then لْيَقْطَعْ let him cut off, فَلْيَنظُرْ then let him see هَلْ whether يُذْهِبَنَّ will remove كَيْدُهُۥ his plan مَا what يَغِيظُ enrages.
English - Whoever should think that Allah will not support [Prophet Muhammad] in this world and the Hereafter – let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 16
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَنزَلْنَٰهُ We sent it down ءَايَٰتٍۭ (as) clear Verses, بَيِّنَٰتٍ (as) clear Verses, وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَهْدِى guides مَن whom يُرِيدُ He intends.
English - And thus have We sent the Qur’an down as verses of clear evidence and because Allah guides whom He intends. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 17
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ have believed, وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who هَادُوا۟ were Jews وَٱلصَّٰبِـِٔينَ and the Sabians وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ and the Christians وَٱلْمَجُوسَ and the Magians, وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ (are) polytheists إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَفْصِلُ will judge بَيْنَهُمْ between them يَوْمَ (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ over كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing شَهِيدٌ (is) a Witness.
English - Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews and the Sabeans and the Christians and the Magians and those who associated with Allah – Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, over all things, Witness. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 18
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah يَسْجُدُ prostrates لَهُۥ to Him مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَن and whoever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, وَٱلشَّمْسُ and the sun وَٱلْقَمَرُ and the moon وَٱلنُّجُومُ and the stars وَٱلْجِبَالُ and the mountains, وَٱلشَّجَرُ and the trees وَٱلدَّوَآبُّ and the moving creatures وَكَثِيرٌ and many مِّنَ of ٱلنَّاسِ the people? وَكَثِيرٌ But many - حَقَّ (is) justly due عَلَيْهِ on him ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment. وَمَن And whoever يُهِنِ Allah humiliates ٱللَّهُ Allah humiliates فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any مُّكْرِمٍ bestower of honor. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَفْعَلُ does مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills
English - Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates – for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 19
هَٰذَانِ These two خَصْمَانِ opponents ٱخْتَصَمُوا۟ dispute فِى concerning رَبِّهِمْ their Lord. فَٱلَّذِينَ But those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved قُطِّعَتْ will be cut out لَهُمْ for them ثِيَابٌ garments مِّن of نَّارٍ fire. يُصَبُّ Will be poured مِن over فَوْقِ over رُءُوسِهِمُ their heads ٱلْحَمِيمُ [the] scalding water.
English - These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 20
يُصْهَرُ Will be melted بِهِۦ with it مَا what فِى (is) in بُطُونِهِمْ their bellies وَٱلْجُلُودُ and the skins.
English - By which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 21
وَلَهُم And for them مَّقَٰمِعُ (are) hooked rods مِنْ of حَدِيدٍ iron.
English - And for [striking] them are maces of iron. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 22
كُلَّمَآ Every time أَرَادُوٓا۟ they want أَن to يَخْرُجُوا۟ come out مِنْهَا from it مِنْ from غَمٍّ anguish, أُعِيدُوا۟ they will be returned فِيهَا therein, وَذُوقُوا۟ "Taste عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْحَرِيقِ (of) the Burning Fire!"
English - Every time they want to get out of Hellfire from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], “Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 23
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُدْخِلُ will admit ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ the righteous deeds, جَنَّٰتٍ (to) Gardens تَجْرِى flow مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers. يُحَلَّوْنَ They will be adorned فِيهَا therein مِنْ with أَسَاوِرَ bracelets مِن of ذَهَبٍ gold وَلُؤْلُؤًا and pearl, وَلِبَاسُهُمْ and their garments فِيهَا therein حَرِيرٌ (will be of) silk.
English - Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 24
وَهُدُوٓا۟ And they were guided إِلَى to ٱلطَّيِّبِ the good مِنَ of ٱلْقَوْلِ the speech, وَهُدُوٓا۟ and they were guided إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطِ (the) path ٱلْحَمِيدِ (of) the Praiseworthy.
English - And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 25
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَيَصُدُّونَ and hinder عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٱلْمَسْجِدِ and Al-Masjid Al-Haraam, ٱلْحَرَامِ and Al-Masjid Al-Haraam, ٱلَّذِى which جَعَلْنَٰهُ We made it لِلنَّاسِ for the mankind, سَوَآءً equal, ٱلْعَٰكِفُ (are) the resident فِيهِ therein وَٱلْبَادِ and the visitor; وَمَن and whoever يُرِدْ intends فِيهِ therein بِإِلْحَادٍۭ of deviation بِظُلْمٍ (or) wrongdoing, نُّذِقْهُ We will make him taste مِنْ of عَذَابٍ a punishment أَلِيمٍ painful.
English - Indeed, those who have disbelieved and avert [people] from the way of Allah and [from] al-Masjid al-îaram, which We made for the people – equal are the resident therein and one from outside; and [also] whoever intends [a deed] therein of deviation [in religion] or wrongdoing – We will make him taste of a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 26
وَإِذْ And when بَوَّأْنَا We assigned لِإِبْرَٰهِيمَ to Ibrahim مَكَانَ (the) site ٱلْبَيْتِ (of) the House, أَن "That لَّا (do) not تُشْرِكْ associate بِى with Me شَيْـًٔا anything وَطَهِّرْ and purify بَيْتِىَ My House لِلطَّآئِفِينَ for those who circumambulate وَٱلْقَآئِمِينَ and those who stand وَٱلرُّكَّعِ and those who bow, ٱلسُّجُودِ (and) those who prostrate.
English - And [mention, O Muhammad], when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], “Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform tawaf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 27
وَأَذِّن And proclaim فِى to ٱلنَّاسِ [the] mankind بِٱلْحَجِّ [of] the Pilgrimage; يَأْتُوكَ they will come to you رِجَالًا (on) foot وَعَلَىٰ and on كُلِّ every ضَامِرٍ lean camel; يَأْتِينَ they will come مِن from كُلِّ every فَجٍّ mountain highway عَمِيقٍ distant.
English - And proclaim to the people the hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 28
لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟ That they may witness مَنَٰفِعَ benefits لَهُمْ for them, وَيَذْكُرُوا۟ and mention ٱسْمَ (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah فِىٓ on أَيَّامٍ days مَّعْلُومَٰتٍ known عَلَىٰ over مَا what رَزَقَهُم He has provided them مِّنۢ of بَهِيمَةِ (the) beast ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ (of) cattle. فَكُلُوا۟ So eat مِنْهَا of them وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ and feed ٱلْبَآئِسَ the miserable, ٱلْفَقِيرَ the poor.
English - That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 29
ثُمَّ Then لْيَقْضُوا۟ let them end تَفَثَهُمْ their prescribed duties وَلْيُوفُوا۟ and fulfil نُذُورَهُمْ their vows, وَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا۟ and circumambulate بِٱلْبَيْتِ the House ٱلْعَتِيقِ [the] Ancient."
English - Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform tawaf around the ancient House.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 30
ذَٰلِكَ That وَمَن and whoever يُعَظِّمْ honors حُرُمَٰتِ (the) sacred rites ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, فَهُوَ then it خَيْرٌ (is) best لَّهُۥ for him عِندَ near رَبِّهِۦ his Lord. وَأُحِلَّتْ And are made lawful لَكُمُ to you ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ the cattle إِلَّا except مَا what يُتْلَىٰ is recited عَلَيْكُمْ to you. فَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ So avoid ٱلرِّجْسَ the abomination مِنَ of ٱلْأَوْثَٰنِ the idols وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ and avoid قَوْلَ (the) word ٱلزُّورِ false.
English - That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah – it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement, .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 31
حُنَفَآءَ Being upright لِلَّهِ to Allah, غَيْرَ not مُشْرِكِينَ associating partners بِهِۦ with Him. وَمَن And whoever يُشْرِكْ associates partners بِٱللَّهِ with Allah فَكَأَنَّمَا then (it is) as though خَرَّ he had fallen مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky فَتَخْطَفُهُ and (had) snatched him ٱلطَّيْرُ the birds, أَوْ or تَهْوِى had blown بِهِ him ٱلرِّيحُ the wind فِى to مَكَانٍ a place سَحِيقٍ far off.
English - Inclining [only] to Allah, not associating [anything] with Him. And he who associates with Allah – it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 32
ذَٰلِكَ That, وَمَن and whoever يُعَظِّمْ honors شَعَٰٓئِرَ (the) Symbols ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah فَإِنَّهَا then indeed, it مِن (is) from تَقْوَى (the) piety ٱلْقُلُوبِ (of) the hearts.
English - That [is so]. And whoever honors the symbols of Allah – indeed, it is from the piety of hearts. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 33
لَكُمْ For you فِيهَا therein مَنَٰفِعُ (are) benefits إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed; ثُمَّ then مَحِلُّهَآ their place of sacrifice إِلَى (is) at ٱلْبَيْتِ the House ٱلْعَتِيقِ the Ancient.
English - For you the animals marked for sacrifice are benefits for a specified term; then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 34
وَلِكُلِّ And for every أُمَّةٍ nation جَعَلْنَا We have appointed مَنسَكًا a rite, لِّيَذْكُرُوا۟ that they may mention ٱسْمَ (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَىٰ over مَا what رَزَقَهُم He (has) provided them مِّنۢ of بَهِيمَةِ (the) beast ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ (of) cattle. فَإِلَٰهُكُمْ And your God إِلَٰهٌ (is) God وَٰحِدٌ One, فَلَهُۥٓ so to Him أَسْلِمُوا۟ submit. وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings ٱلْمُخْبِتِينَ (to) the humble ones.
English - And for all religion We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your god is one God, so to Him submit. And, [O Muhammad], give good tidings to the humble [before their Lord] .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 35
ٱلَّذِينَ Those إِذَا when ذُكِرَ is mentioned ٱللَّهُ Allah - وَجِلَتْ fear قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts, وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ and those who are patient عَلَىٰ over مَآ whatever أَصَابَهُمْ has afflicted them, وَٱلْمُقِيمِى and those who establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ the prayer, وَمِمَّا and out of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ We have provided them يُنفِقُونَ they spend.
English - Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 36
وَٱلْبُدْنَ And the camels and cattle - جَعَلْنَٰهَا We have made them لَكُم for you مِّن among شَعَٰٓئِرِ (the) Symbols ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, لَكُمْ for you فِيهَا therein خَيْرٌ (is) good. فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ So mention ٱسْمَ (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَيْهَا over them صَوَآفَّ (when) lined up; فَإِذَا and when وَجَبَتْ are down جُنُوبُهَا their sides, فَكُلُوا۟ then eat مِنْهَا from them وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ and feed ٱلْقَانِعَ the needy who do not ask وَٱلْمُعْتَرَّ and the needy who ask. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus سَخَّرْنَٰهَا We have subjected them لَكُمْ to you لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَشْكُرُونَ be grateful.
English - And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful. .

Ayah 37
لَن Will not يَنَالَ reach ٱللَّهَ Allah لُحُومُهَا their meat وَلَا and not دِمَآؤُهَا their blood وَلَٰكِن but يَنَالُهُ reaches Him ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ the piety مِنكُمْ from you. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus سَخَّرَهَا He subjected them لَكُمْ to you لِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ so that you may magnify ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ for مَا what هَدَىٰكُمْ He has guided you. وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (to) the good-doers.
English - Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 38
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يُدَٰفِعُ defends عَنِ defends ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ like كُلَّ every خَوَّانٍ treacherous كَفُورٍ ungrateful.
English - Indeed, Allah defends those who have believed. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone treacherous and ungrateful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 39
أُذِنَ Permission is given لِلَّذِينَ to those who يُقَٰتَلُونَ are being fought بِأَنَّهُمْ because they ظُلِمُوا۟ were wronged. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ for نَصْرِهِمْ their victory لَقَدِيرٌ (is) surely Able.
English - Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 40
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who أُخْرِجُوا۟ have been evicted مِن from دِيَٰرِهِم their homes بِغَيْرِ without حَقٍّ right إِلَّآ except أَن that يَقُولُوا۟ they said, رَبُّنَا "Our Lord ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah." وَلَوْلَا And if not دَفْعُ Allah checks ٱللَّهِ Allah checks ٱلنَّاسَ the people, بَعْضَهُم some of them بِبَعْضٍ by others لَّهُدِّمَتْ surely (would) have been demolished صَوَٰمِعُ monasteries وَبِيَعٌ and churches وَصَلَوَٰتٌ and synagogues وَمَسَٰجِدُ and masajid - يُذْكَرُ is mentioned فِيهَا in it ٱسْمُ (the) name of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) name of Allah كَثِيرًا much. وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ And surely Allah will help ٱللَّهُ And surely Allah will help مَن (those) who يَنصُرُهُۥٓ help Him. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَقَوِىٌّ (is) surely All-Strong, عَزِيزٌ All-Mighty.
English - [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right – only because they say, “Our Lord is Allah.” And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. .

Ayah 41
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who, إِن if مَّكَّنَّٰهُمْ We establish them فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land أَقَامُوا۟ they establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتَوُا۟ and they give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَأَمَرُوا۟ and they enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right وَنَهَوْا۟ and forbid عَنِ from ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong. وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah عَٰقِبَةُ (is the) end ٱلْأُمُورِ (of) the matters.
English - [And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters. .

Ayah 42
وَإِن And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ they deny you, فَقَدْ so verily كَذَّبَتْ denied قَبْلَهُمْ before them قَوْمُ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَعَادٌ and Aad وَثَمُودُ and Thamud,
English - And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – so, before them, did the people of Noah and ‘Aad and Thamūd deny [their prophets], .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 43
وَقَوْمُ And (the) people إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim, وَقَوْمُ and (the) people لُوطٍ (of) Lut
English - And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 44
وَأَصْحَٰبُ And the inhabitants مَدْيَنَ (of) Madyan. وَكُذِّبَ And Musa was denied, مُوسَىٰ And Musa was denied, فَأَمْلَيْتُ so I granted respite لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ to the disbelievers, ثُمَّ then أَخَذْتُهُمْ I seized them, فَكَيْفَ and how كَانَ was نَكِيرِ My punishment.
English - And the inhabitants of Madyan. And Moses was denied, so I prolonged enjoyment for the disbelievers; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My reproach. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 45
فَكَأَيِّن And how many مِّن of قَرْيَةٍ a township أَهْلَكْنَٰهَا We have destroyed it, وَهِىَ while it ظَالِمَةٌ was doing wrong, فَهِىَ so it خَاوِيَةٌ fell عَلَىٰ on عُرُوشِهَا its roofs, وَبِئْرٍ and well مُّعَطَّلَةٍ abandoned, وَقَصْرٍ and castle مَّشِيدٍ lofty.
English - And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong – so it is [now] fallen into ruin – and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 46
أَفَلَمْ So have not يَسِيرُوا۟ they traveled فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَتَكُونَ and is لَهُمْ for them قُلُوبٌ hearts يَعْقِلُونَ (to) reason بِهَآ with it أَوْ or ءَاذَانٌ ears يَسْمَعُونَ (to) hear بِهَا with it? فَإِنَّهَا For indeed, [it] لَا not تَعْمَى (are) blinded ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ the eyes وَلَٰكِن but تَعْمَى (are) blinded ٱلْقُلُوبُ the hearts ٱلَّتِى which فِى (are) in ٱلصُّدُورِ the breasts.
English - So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 47
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ And they ask you to hasten بِٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment. وَلَن But never will يُخْلِفَ Allah fail ٱللَّهُ Allah fail وَعْدَهُۥ (in) His Promise. وَإِنَّ And indeed, يَوْمًا a day عِندَ with رَبِّكَ your Lord كَأَلْفِ (is) like a thousand سَنَةٍ year(s) مِّمَّا of what تَعُدُّونَ you count.
English - And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 48
وَكَأَيِّن And how many مِّن of قَرْيَةٍ a township أَمْلَيْتُ I gave respite لَهَا to it, وَهِىَ while it ظَالِمَةٌ (was) doing wrong. ثُمَّ Then أَخَذْتُهَا I seized it وَإِلَىَّ and to Me ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination.
English - And for how many a city did I prolong enjoyment while it was committing wrong. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destination. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 49
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ "O mankind! إِنَّمَآ Only أَنَا۠ I am لَكُمْ to you نَذِيرٌ a warner مُّبِينٌ clear."
English - Say, “O people, I am only to you a clear warner.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 50
فَٱلَّذِينَ So those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds - لَهُم for them مَّغْفِرَةٌ (is) forgiveness وَرِزْقٌ and a provision كَرِيمٌ noble.
English - And those who have believed and done righteous deeds – for them is forgiveness and noble provision. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 51
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who سَعَوْا۟ strove فِىٓ against ءَايَٰتِنَا Our Verses, مُعَٰجِزِينَ (to) cause failure, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire.
English - But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure – those are the companions of Hellfire. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 52
وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you مِن any رَّسُولٍ Messenger وَلَا and not نَبِىٍّ a Prophet إِلَّآ but إِذَا when تَمَنَّىٰٓ he recited, أَلْقَى threw ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan فِىٓ in أُمْنِيَّتِهِۦ his recitation. فَيَنسَخُ But Allah abolishes ٱللَّهُ But Allah abolishes مَا what يُلْقِى throws ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan, ثُمَّ then يُحْكِمُ Allah will establish ٱللَّهُ Allah will establish ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Verses. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
English - And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 53
لِّيَجْعَلَ That He may make مَا what يُلْقِى the Shaitaan throws ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan throws فِتْنَةً a trial لِّلَّذِينَ for those فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease, وَٱلْقَاسِيَةِ and (are) hardened قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers لَفِى (are) surely, in شِقَاقٍۭ schism بَعِيدٍ far.
English - [That is] so He may make what Satan throws in a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 54
وَلِيَعْلَمَ And that may know ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ have been given ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge أَنَّهُ that it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord, فَيُؤْمِنُوا۟ and they believe بِهِۦ in it, فَتُخْبِتَ and may humbly submit لَهُۥ to it قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَهَادِ (is) surely (the) Guide ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe, إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ a Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight.
English - And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is Allah the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 55
وَلَا And not يَزَالُ will cease ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve فِى (to be) in مِرْيَةٍ doubt مِّنْهُ of it حَتَّىٰ until تَأْتِيَهُمُ comes to them ٱلسَّاعَةُ the Hour بَغْتَةً suddenly أَوْ or يَأْتِيَهُمْ comes to them عَذَابُ (the) punishment يَوْمٍ (of) a Day عَقِيمٍ barren.
English - But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 56
ٱلْمُلْكُ The Sovereignty يَوْمَئِذٍ (on) that Day لِّلَّهِ (will be) for Allah, يَحْكُمُ He will judge بَيْنَهُمْ between them. فَٱلَّذِينَ So those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds فِى (will be) in جَنَّٰتِ Gardens ٱلنَّعِيمِ (of) Delight.
English - [All] sovereignty that Day is for Allah; He will judge between them. So they who believed and did righteous deeds will be in the Gardens of Pleasure. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 57
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَكَذَّبُوا۟ and denied بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا Our Verses, فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (will be) a punishment مُّهِينٌ humiliating.
English - And they who disbelieved and denied Our signs – for those there will be a humiliating punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 58
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هَاجَرُوا۟ emigrated فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ثُمَّ then قُتِلُوٓا۟ were killed أَوْ or مَاتُوا۟ died, لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ surely, Allah will provide them ٱللَّهُ surely, Allah will provide them رِزْقًا a provision حَسَنًا good. وَإِنَّ And indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah, لَهُوَ surely, He خَيْرُ (is the) Best ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ (of) the Providers.
English - And those who emigrated for the cause of Allah and then were killed or died – Allah will surely provide for them a good provision. And indeed, it is Allah who is the best of providers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 59
لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُم Surely, He will admit them مُّدْخَلًا (to) an entrance يَرْضَوْنَهُۥ they will be pleased (with) it. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَعَلِيمٌ surely, (is) All-Knowing, حَلِيمٌ Most Forbearing.
English - He will surely cause them to enter an entrance with which they will be pleased, and indeed, Allah is Knowing and Forbearing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 60
ذَٰلِكَ That, وَمَنْ and whoever عَاقَبَ has retaliated, بِمِثْلِ with the like مَا (of) that عُوقِبَ he was made to suffer بِهِۦ by it, ثُمَّ then بُغِىَ he was oppressed عَلَيْهِ [on him], لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ Allah will surely help him. ٱللَّهُ Allah will surely help him. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَعَفُوٌّ (is) surely Oft-Pardoning, غَفُورٌ Oft-Forgiving.
English - That [is so]. And whoever responds [to injustice] with the equivalent of that with which he was harmed and then is tyrannized – Allah will surely aid him. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 61
ذَٰلِكَ That, بِأَنَّ (is) because ٱللَّهَ Allah يُولِجُ causes to enter ٱلَّيْلَ the night فِى in (to) ٱلنَّهَارِ the day, وَيُولِجُ and causes to enter ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى in (to) ٱلَّيْلِ the night. وَأَنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَمِيعٌۢ (is) All-Hearer, بَصِيرٌ All-Seer.
English - That is because Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and because Allah is Hearing and Seeing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 62
ذَٰلِكَ That (is), بِأَنَّ because ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the Truth, وَأَنَّ and that مَا what يَدْعُونَ they invoke مِن besides Him, دُونِهِۦ besides Him, هُوَ it ٱلْبَٰطِلُ (is) the falsehood. وَأَنَّ And that ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High, ٱلْكَبِيرُ the Most Great.
English - That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 63
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see, أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah أَنزَلَ sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water فَتُصْبِحُ then becomes ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth مُخْضَرَّةً green? إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَطِيفٌ (is) surely Subtle, خَبِيرٌ All-Aware.
English - Do you not see that Allah has sent down rain from the sky and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 64
لَّهُۥ For Him مَا (is) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَهُوَ surely, He ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need, ٱلْحَمِيدُ the Praiseworthy.
English - To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 65
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah سَخَّرَ (has) subjected لَكُم to you مَّا what فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, وَٱلْفُلْكَ and the ships تَجْرِى that sail فِى through ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea بِأَمْرِهِۦ by His Command? وَيُمْسِكُ And He withholds ٱلسَّمَآءَ the sky أَن lest تَقَعَ it falls عَلَى on ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth إِلَّا except بِإِذْنِهِۦٓ by His permission. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِٱلنَّاسِ to mankind لَرَءُوفٌ (is) Full of Kindness, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you whatever is on the earth and the ships which run through the sea by His command? And He restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission. Indeed Allah, to the people, is Kind and Merciful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 66
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَحْيَاكُمْ gave you life ثُمَّ then يُمِيتُكُمْ He will cause you to die ثُمَّ then يُحْيِيكُمْ He will give you life (again). إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ man لَكَفُورٌ (is) surely ungrateful.
English - And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 67
لِّكُلِّ For every أُمَّةٍ nation جَعَلْنَا We have made مَنسَكًا rite(s), هُمْ they نَاسِكُوهُ perform it. فَلَا So let them not dispute with you يُنَٰزِعُنَّكَ So let them not dispute with you فِى in ٱلْأَمْرِ the matter, وَٱدْعُ but invite (them) إِلَىٰ to رَبِّكَ your Lord. إِنَّكَ Indeed, you لَعَلَىٰ (are) surely on هُدًى guidance مُّسْتَقِيمٍ straight.
English - For every religion We have appointed rites which they perform. So, [O Muhammad], let the disbelievers not contend with you over the matter but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 68
وَإِن And if جَٰدَلُوكَ they argue (with) you فَقُلِ then say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do.
English - And if they dispute with you, then say, “Allah is most knowing of what you do. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 69
ٱللَّهُ Allah يَحْكُمُ will judge بَيْنَكُمْ between you يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, فِيمَا concerning what كُنتُمْ you used (to) فِيهِ in it تَخْتَلِفُونَ differ."
English - Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which you used to differ.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 70
أَلَمْ Do not تَعْلَمْ you know أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَعْلَمُ knows مَا what فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth? إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that فِى (is) in كِتَٰبٍ a Record, إِنَّ indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى (is) for ٱللَّهِ Allah يَسِيرٌ easy.
English - Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and earth? Indeed, that is in a Record. Indeed that, for Allah, is easy. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 71
وَيَعْبُدُونَ And they worship مِن besides Allah دُونِ besides Allah ٱللَّهِ besides Allah مَا what لَمْ not يُنَزِّلْ He (has) sent down بِهِۦ for it سُلْطَٰنًا any authority, وَمَا and what لَيْسَ not لَهُم they have بِهِۦ of it عِلْمٌ any knowledge. وَمَا And not لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ (will be) for the wrongdoers مِن any نَّصِيرٍ helper.
English - And they worship besides Allah that for which He has not sent down authority and that of which they have no knowledge. And there will not be for the wrongdoers any helper. .

Ayah 72
وَإِذَا And when تُتْلَىٰ are recited عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتُنَا Our Verses بَيِّنَٰتٍ clear, تَعْرِفُ you will recognize فِى on وُجُوهِ (the) faces ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve ٱلْمُنكَرَ the denial. يَكَادُونَ They almost يَسْطُونَ attack بِٱلَّذِينَ those who يَتْلُونَ recite عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتِنَا Our Verses. قُلْ Say, أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم "Then shall I inform you بِشَرٍّ of worse مِّن than ذَٰلِكُمُ that? ٱلنَّارُ The Fire, وَعَدَهَا Allah (has) promised it ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) promised it ٱلَّذِينَ (for) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve, وَبِئْسَ and wretched ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination."
English - And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval. They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, “Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allah has promised those who disbelieve, and wretched is the destination.” .

Ayah 73
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ O mankind! ضُرِبَ Is set forth مَثَلٌ an example, فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ so listen لَهُۥٓ to it. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those whom تَدْعُونَ you invoke مِن besides Allah دُونِ besides Allah ٱللَّهِ besides Allah لَن will never يَخْلُقُوا۟ create ذُبَابًا a fly وَلَوِ even if ٱجْتَمَعُوا۟ they gathered together لَهُۥ for it. وَإِن And if يَسْلُبْهُمُ snatched away from them ٱلذُّبَابُ the fly شَيْـًٔا a thing لَّا not يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ they (could) take it back مِنْهُ from it. ضَعُفَ So weak ٱلطَّالِبُ (are) the seeker وَٱلْمَطْلُوبُ and the one who is sought.
English - O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued. .

Ayah 74
مَا Not قَدَرُوا۟ they (have) estimated ٱللَّهَ Allah حَقَّ (with) due قَدْرِهِۦٓ [His] estimation. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَقَوِىٌّ (is) surely All-Strong, عَزِيزٌ All-Mighty.
English - They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. .

Ayah 75
ٱللَّهُ Allah يَصْطَفِى chooses مِنَ from ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ the Angels رُسُلًا Messengers, وَمِنَ and from ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَمِيعٌۢ (is) All-Hearer, بَصِيرٌ All-Seer.
English - Allah chooses from the angels messengers and from the people. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 76
يَعْلَمُ He knows مَا what بَيْنَ (is) before them أَيْدِيهِمْ (is) before them وَمَا and what خَلْفَهُمْ (is) after them. وَإِلَى And to ٱللَّهِ Allah تُرْجَعُ return ٱلْأُمُورُ all the matters.
English - He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them. And to Allah will be returned [all] matters. .

Ayah 77
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe! ٱرْكَعُوا۟ Bow وَٱسْجُدُوا۟ and prostrate وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ and worship رَبَّكُمْ your Lord وَٱفْعَلُوا۟ and do ٱلْخَيْرَ [the] good لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُفْلِحُونَ be successful.
English - O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good – that you may succeed. .

Ayah 78
وَجَٰهِدُوا۟ And strive فِى for ٱللَّهِ Allah حَقَّ (with the) striving due (to) Him. جِهَادِهِۦ (with the) striving due (to) Him. هُوَ He ٱجْتَبَىٰكُمْ (has) chosen you وَمَا and not جَعَلَ placed عَلَيْكُمْ upon you فِى in ٱلدِّينِ the religion مِنْ any حَرَجٍ difficulty. مِّلَّةَ (The) religion أَبِيكُمْ (of) your father إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim. هُوَ He سَمَّىٰكُمُ named you ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ Muslims مِن before قَبْلُ before وَفِى and in هَٰذَا this, لِيَكُونَ that may be ٱلرَّسُولُ the Messenger شَهِيدًا a witness عَلَيْكُمْ over you وَتَكُونُوا۟ and you may be شُهَدَآءَ witnesses عَلَى on ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind. فَأَقِيمُوا۟ So establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتُوا۟ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ and hold fast بِٱللَّهِ to Allah. هُوَ He مَوْلَىٰكُمْ (is) your Protector - فَنِعْمَ so an Excellent ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ [the] Protector وَنِعْمَ and an Excellent ٱلنَّصِيرُ [the] Helper.
English - And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper. .
