Ayah 1
ٱقْتَرَبَ (Has) approached لِلنَّاسِ for [the] mankind حِسَابُهُمْ their account, وَهُمْ while they فِى (are) in غَفْلَةٍ heedlessness مُّعْرِضُونَ turning away.
English - [The time of] their account has approached for the people, while they are in heedlessness turning away. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 2
مَا Not يَأْتِيهِم comes to them مِّن of ذِكْرٍ a Reminder مِّن from رَّبِّهِم their Lord, مُّحْدَثٍ anew إِلَّا except ٱسْتَمَعُوهُ they listen to it وَهُمْ while they يَلْعَبُونَ (are at) play
English - No mention comes to them anew from their Lord except that they listen to it while they are at play .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 3
لَاهِيَةً Distracted قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts. وَأَسَرُّوا۟ And they conceal ٱلنَّجْوَى the private conversation, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ [they] wronged, هَلْ "Is هَٰذَآ this إِلَّا except بَشَرٌ a human being مِّثْلُكُمْ like you? أَفَتَأْتُونَ So would you approach ٱلسِّحْرَ the magic وَأَنتُمْ while you تُبْصِرُونَ see (it)?"
English - With their hearts distracted. And those who do wrong conceal their private conversation, [saying], “Is this [Prophet] except a human being like you? So would you approach magic while you are aware [of it]?” .

Ayah 4
قَالَ He said, رَبِّى "My Lord يَعْلَمُ knows ٱلْقَوْلَ the word فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَهُوَ And He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower."
English - The Prophet said, “My Lord knows whatever is said throughout the heaven and earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 5
بَلْ Nay, قَالُوٓا۟ they say, أَضْغَٰثُ "Muddled أَحْلَٰمٍۭ dreams; بَلِ nay, ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ he (has) invented it; بَلْ nay, هُوَ he شَاعِرٌ (is) a poet. فَلْيَأْتِنَا So let him bring us بِـَٔايَةٍ a sign كَمَآ like what أُرْسِلَ was sent ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ (to) the former."
English - But they say, “[The revelation is but] a mixture of false dreams; rather, he has invented it; rather, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign just as the previous [messengers] were sent [with miracles].” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 6
مَآ Not ءَامَنَتْ believed قَبْلَهُم before them مِّن any قَرْيَةٍ town أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ which We destroyed, أَفَهُمْ so will they يُؤْمِنُونَ believe?
English - Not a [single] city which We destroyed believed before them, so will they believe? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 7
وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent قَبْلَكَ before you إِلَّا except رِجَالًا men, نُّوحِىٓ We revealed إِلَيْهِمْ to them. فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ So ask أَهْلَ (the) people ٱلذِّكْرِ (of) the Reminder, إِن if كُنتُمْ you لَا (do) not تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And We sent not before you, [O Muhammad], except men to whom We revealed [the message], so ask the people of the message if you do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 8
وَمَا And not جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ We made them جَسَدًا bodies لَّا not يَأْكُلُونَ eating ٱلطَّعَامَ the food, وَمَا and not كَانُوا۟ they were خَٰلِدِينَ immortals.
English - And We did not make the prophets forms not eating food, nor were they immortal [on earth]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 9
ثُمَّ Then صَدَقْنَٰهُمُ We fulfilled (for) them ٱلْوَعْدَ the promise, فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُمْ and We saved them وَمَن and whom نَّشَآءُ We willed, وَأَهْلَكْنَا and We destroyed ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ the transgressors.
English - Then We fulfilled for them the promise, and We saved them and whom We willed and destroyed the transgressors. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 10
لَقَدْ Indeed, أَنزَلْنَآ We (have) sent down إِلَيْكُمْ to you كِتَٰبًا a Book فِيهِ in it ذِكْرُكُمْ (is) your mention. أَفَلَا Then will not تَعْقِلُونَ you use reason?
English - We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 11
وَكَمْ And how many قَصَمْنَا We (have) shattered مِن of قَرْيَةٍ a town كَانَتْ (that) was ظَالِمَةً unjust, وَأَنشَأْنَا and We produced بَعْدَهَا after them قَوْمًا another people. ءَاخَرِينَ another people.
English - And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 12
فَلَمَّآ Then when أَحَسُّوا۟ they perceived بَأْسَنَآ Our torment, إِذَا behold, هُم they مِّنْهَا from it يَرْكُضُونَ were fleeing.
English - And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 13
لَا Flee not, تَرْكُضُوا۟ Flee not, وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ but return إِلَىٰ to مَآ what أُتْرِفْتُمْ you were given luxury فِيهِ in it وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمْ and to your homes, لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُسْـَٔلُونَ be questioned.
English - [Some angels said], “Do not flee but return to where you were given luxury and to your homes — perhaps you will be questioned.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 14
قَالُوا۟ They said, يَٰوَيْلَنَآ "O woe to us! إِنَّا Indeed, [we] كُنَّا we were ظَٰلِمِينَ wrongdoers."
English - They said, “O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 15
فَمَا Then not زَالَت ceased تِّلْكَ [this] دَعْوَىٰهُمْ their cry حَتَّىٰ until جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ We made them حَصِيدًا reaped خَٰمِدِينَ extinct.
English - And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 16
وَمَا And not خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلسَّمَآءَ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth وَمَا and what بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them لَٰعِبِينَ (for) playing.
English - And We did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 17
لَوْ If أَرَدْنَآ We intended أَن that نَّتَّخِذَ We take لَهْوًا a pastime, لَّٱتَّخَذْنَٰهُ surely We (could have) taken it مِن from لَّدُنَّآ Us, إِن if كُنَّا We were فَٰعِلِينَ doers.
English - Had We intended to take a diversion, We could have taken it from [what is] with Us — if [indeed] We were to do so. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 18
بَلْ Nay, نَقْذِفُ We hurl بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth عَلَى against ٱلْبَٰطِلِ [the] falsehood, فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ and it breaks its head, فَإِذَا behold, هُوَ it (is) زَاهِقٌ vanishing. وَلَكُمُ And for you ٱلْوَيْلُ (is) destruction مِمَّا for what تَصِفُونَ you ascribe.
English - Rather, We dash the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and thereupon it departs. And for you is destruction from that which you describe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 19
وَلَهُۥ And to Him (belongs) مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَمَنْ And (those) who عِندَهُۥ (are) near Him لَا not يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ they are arrogant عَنْ to عِبَادَتِهِۦ worship Him وَلَا and not يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ they tire.
English - To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 20
يُسَبِّحُونَ They glorify (Him) ٱلَّيْلَ [the] night وَٱلنَّهَارَ and [the] day, لَا not يَفْتُرُونَ they slacken.
English - They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 21
أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ (have) they taken ءَالِهَةً gods مِّنَ from ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, هُمْ they يُنشِرُونَ raise (the dead)?
English - Or have men taken for themselves gods from the earth who resurrect [the dead]? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 22
لَوْ If كَانَ (there) were فِيهِمَآ in both of them ءَالِهَةٌ gods إِلَّا besides ٱللَّهُ Allah, لَفَسَدَتَا surely they (would) have been ruined. فَسُبْحَٰنَ So glorified ٱللَّهِ (is) Allah, رَبِّ Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne عَمَّا (above) what يَصِفُونَ they attribute.
English - Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 23
لَا Not يُسْـَٔلُ He (can) be questioned عَمَّا about what يَفْعَلُ He does, وَهُمْ but they يُسْـَٔلُونَ will be questioned.
English - He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 24
أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ (have) they taken مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him ءَالِهَةً gods? قُلْ Say, هَاتُوا۟ "Bring بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ your proof. هَٰذَا This ذِكْرُ (is) a Reminder مَن (for those) who مَّعِىَ (are) with me, وَذِكْرُ and a Reminder مَن (for those) who قَبْلِى (were) before me." بَلْ But أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know ٱلْحَقَّ the truth فَهُم so they مُّعْرِضُونَ (are) averse.
English - Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], “Produce your proof. This [Qur’an] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me.” But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 25
وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you مِن any رَّسُولٍ Messenger إِلَّا but نُوحِىٓ We reveal(ed) إِلَيْهِ to him أَنَّهُۥ that [He], لَآ "(There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّآ except أَنَا۠ Me فَٱعْبُدُونِ so worship Me."
English - And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, “There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 26
وَقَالُوا۟ And they say, ٱتَّخَذَ "Has taken ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ the Most Gracious وَلَدًا a son." سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glorified is He! بَلْ Nay, عِبَادٌ (they are) slaves مُّكْرَمُونَ honored.
English - And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken a son.” Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 27
لَا Not يَسْبِقُونَهُۥ they (can) precede Him بِٱلْقَوْلِ in word, وَهُم and they بِأَمْرِهِۦ by His command يَعْمَلُونَ act.
English - They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 28
يَعْلَمُ He knows مَا what بَيْنَ (is) before them, أَيْدِيهِمْ (is) before them, وَمَا and what خَلْفَهُمْ (is) behind them, وَلَا and not يَشْفَعُونَ they (can) intercede إِلَّا except لِمَنِ for whom ٱرْتَضَىٰ He approves. وَهُم And they, مِّنْ from خَشْيَتِهِۦ fear of Him, مُشْفِقُونَ stand in awe.
English - He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they cannot intercede except on behalf of one whom He approves. And they, from fear of Him, are apprehensive. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 29
وَمَن And whoever يَقُلْ says مِنْهُمْ of them, إِنِّىٓ "Indeed, I am إِلَٰهٌ a god مِّن besides Him." دُونِهِۦ besides Him." فَذَٰلِكَ Then that نَجْزِيهِ We will recompense جَهَنَّمَ (with) Hell. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَجْزِى We recompense ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - And whoever of them should say, “Indeed, I am a god besides Him”— that one We would recompense with Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 30
أَوَلَمْ Do not يَرَ see ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieved أَنَّ that ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth كَانَتَا were رَتْقًا a joined entity, فَفَتَقْنَٰهُمَا then We parted them وَجَعَلْنَا and We made مِنَ from ٱلْمَآءِ [the] water كُلَّ every شَىْءٍ living thing? حَىٍّ living thing? أَفَلَا Then will not يُؤْمِنُونَ they believe?
English - Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 31
وَجَعَلْنَا And We (have) placed فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth رَوَٰسِىَ firmly set mountains, أَن lest تَمِيدَ it (should) shake بِهِمْ with them, وَجَعَلْنَا and We made فِيهَا therein فِجَاجًا broad passes سُبُلًا (as) ways, لَّعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَهْتَدُونَ (be) guided.
English - And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads that they might be guided. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 32
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made ٱلسَّمَآءَ the sky سَقْفًا a roof مَّحْفُوظًا protected. وَهُمْ But they, عَنْ from ءَايَٰتِهَا its Signs, مُعْرِضُونَ turn away.
English - And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 33
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who خَلَقَ created ٱلَّيْلَ the night وَٱلنَّهَارَ and the day, وَٱلشَّمْسَ and the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon; كُلٌّ each فِى in فَلَكٍ an orbit يَسْبَحُونَ floating.
English - And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 34
وَمَا And not جَعَلْنَا We made لِبَشَرٍ for any man مِّن before you قَبْلِكَ before you ٱلْخُلْدَ [the] immortality; أَفَإِي۟ن so if مِّتَّ you die, فَهُمُ then (would) they ٱلْخَٰلِدُونَ live forever?
English - And We did not grant to any man before you eternity [on earth]; so if you die — would they be eternal? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 35
كُلُّ Every نَفْسٍ soul ذَآئِقَةُ (will) taste ٱلْمَوْتِ [the] death. وَنَبْلُوكُم And We test you بِٱلشَّرِّ with [the] bad وَٱلْخَيْرِ and [the] good فِتْنَةً (as) a trial; وَإِلَيْنَا and to Us تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned.
English - Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 36
وَإِذَا And when رَءَاكَ they see you, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve إِن not يَتَّخِذُونَكَ they take you إِلَّا except هُزُوًا (in) ridicule, أَهَٰذَا "Is this ٱلَّذِى the one who يَذْكُرُ mentions ءَالِهَتَكُمْ your gods?" وَهُم And they بِذِكْرِ at (the) mention ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ (of) the Most Gracious هُمْ [they] كَٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers.
English - And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], “Is this the one who insults your gods?” And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 37
خُلِقَ Is created ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ the man مِنْ of عَجَلٍ haste. سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ I will show you ءَايَٰتِى My Signs فَلَا so (do) not تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ ask Me to hasten.
English - Man was created of haste. I will show you My signs, so do not impatiently urge Me. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 38
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, مَتَىٰ "When (will be fulfilled) هَٰذَا this ٱلْوَعْدُ promise, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful?"
English - And they say, “When is this promise, if you should be truthful?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 39
لَوْ If يَعْلَمُ knew ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved حِينَ (the) time لَا (when) not يَكُفُّونَ they will avert عَن from وُجُوهِهِمُ their faces ٱلنَّارَ the Fire وَلَا and not عَن from ظُهُورِهِمْ their backs وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُنصَرُونَ will be helped!
English - If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces or from their backs and they will not be aided... .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 40
بَلْ Nay, تَأْتِيهِم it will come to them بَغْتَةً unexpectedly فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ and bewilder them, فَلَا then not يَسْتَطِيعُونَ they will be able رَدَّهَا to repel it, وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُنظَرُونَ will be given respite.
English - Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 41
وَلَقَدِ And verily, ٱسْتُهْزِئَ were mocked بِرُسُلٍ Messengers مِّن before you قَبْلِكَ before you فَحَاقَ then surrounded بِٱلَّذِينَ those who سَخِرُوا۟ mocked مِنْهُم from them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used بِهِۦ at it يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ (to) mock.
English - And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by what they used to ridicule. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 42
قُلْ Say, مَن "Who يَكْلَؤُكُم (can) protect you بِٱلَّيْلِ in the night وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day مِنَ from ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious?" بَلْ Yet, هُمْ they عَن from ذِكْرِ (the) remembrance رَبِّهِم (of) their Lord مُّعْرِضُونَ turn away.
English - Say, “Who can protect you at night or by day from the Most Merciful?” But they are, from the remembrance of their Lord, turning away. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 43
أَمْ Or لَهُمْ have they ءَالِهَةٌ gods تَمْنَعُهُم (to) defend them مِّن from دُونِنَا Us? لَا Not يَسْتَطِيعُونَ they are able نَصْرَ (to) help أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves وَلَا and not هُم they مِّنَّا from Us يُصْحَبُونَ can be protected.
English - Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 44
بَلْ Nay, مَتَّعْنَا We gave provision هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ (to) these وَءَابَآءَهُمْ and their fathers حَتَّىٰ until طَالَ grew long عَلَيْهِمُ for them, ٱلْعُمُرُ the life. أَفَلَا Then do not يَرَوْنَ they see أَنَّا that We نَأْتِى We come ٱلْأَرْضَ (to) the land, نَنقُصُهَا We reduce it مِنْ from أَطْرَافِهَآ its borders? أَفَهُمُ So is (it) they ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ (who will be) overcoming?
English - But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? So it is they who will overcome? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 45
قُلْ Say, إِنَّمَآ "Only أُنذِرُكُم I warn you بِٱلْوَحْىِ by the revelation." وَلَا But not يَسْمَعُ hear ٱلصُّمُّ the deaf ٱلدُّعَآءَ the call إِذَا when مَا when يُنذَرُونَ they are warned.
English - Say, “I only warn you by revelation.” But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 46
وَلَئِن And if مَّسَّتْهُمْ touches them نَفْحَةٌ a whiff مِّنْ of عَذَابِ (the) punishment رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord, لَيَقُولُنَّ surely they will say, يَٰوَيْلَنَآ "O woe to us! إِنَّا Indeed, we كُنَّا [we] were ظَٰلِمِينَ wrongdoers."
English - And if [as much as] a whiff of the punishment of your Lord should touch them, they would surely say, “O woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 47
وَنَضَعُ And We set ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ the scales ٱلْقِسْطَ (of) the justice لِيَوْمِ for (the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, فَلَا so not تُظْلَمُ will be wronged نَفْسٌ any soul شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. وَإِن And if كَانَ (there) be مِثْقَالَ weight حَبَّةٍ (of) a seed مِّنْ of خَرْدَلٍ a mustard أَتَيْنَا We will bring بِهَا [with] it. وَكَفَىٰ And sufficient بِنَا (are) We حَٰسِبِينَ (as) Reckoners.
English - And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 48
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ءَاتَيْنَا We gave مُوسَىٰ Musa وَهَٰرُونَ and Harun ٱلْفُرْقَانَ the Criterion وَضِيَآءً and a light وَذِكْرًا and a Reminder لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ for the righteous.
English - And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 49
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَخْشَوْنَ fear رَبَّهُم their Lord بِٱلْغَيْبِ in the unseen, وَهُم and they مِّنَ of ٱلسَّاعَةِ the Hour مُشْفِقُونَ (are) afraid.
English - Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 50
وَهَٰذَا And this ذِكْرٌ (is) a Reminder مُّبَارَكٌ blessed, أَنزَلْنَٰهُ which We (have) revealed. أَفَأَنتُمْ Then are you لَهُۥ of it مُنكِرُونَ rejecters?
English - And this [Qur’an] is a blessed message which We have sent down. Then are you with it unacquainted? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 51
وَلَقَدْ And verily, ءَاتَيْنَآ We gave إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim رُشْدَهُۥ his guidance مِن before, قَبْلُ before, وَكُنَّا and We were بِهِۦ about him عَٰلِمِينَ Well-Knowing.
English - And We had certainly given Abraham his sound judgment before, and We were of him well-Knowing .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 52
إِذْ When قَالَ he said لِأَبِيهِ to his father وَقَوْمِهِۦ and his people, مَا "What هَٰذِهِ (are) these ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ [the] statues ٱلَّتِىٓ which أَنتُمْ you لَهَا to it عَٰكِفُونَ (are) devoted?"
English - When he said to his father and his people, “What are these statues to which you are devoted?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 53
قَالُوا۟ They said, وَجَدْنَآ "We found ءَابَآءَنَا our forefathers لَهَا of them عَٰبِدِينَ worshippers."
English - They said, “We found our fathers worshippers of them.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 54
قَالَ He said, لَقَدْ "Verily, كُنتُمْ you are أَنتُمْ [you] وَءَابَآؤُكُمْ and your forefathers فِى (were) in ضَلَٰلٍ an error مُّبِينٍ manifest."
English - He said, “You were certainly, you and your fathers, in manifest error.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 55
قَالُوٓا۟ They said, أَجِئْتَنَا "Have you come to us بِٱلْحَقِّ with the truth, أَمْ or أَنتَ you مِنَ (are) of ٱللَّٰعِبِينَ those who play?"
English - They said, “Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 56
قَالَ He said, بَل "Nay, رَّبُّكُمْ your Lord رَبُّ (is the) Lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, ٱلَّذِى the One Who فَطَرَهُنَّ created them وَأَنَا۠ and I am عَلَىٰ to ذَٰلِكُم that مِّنَ of ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ the witnesses.
English - He said, “[No], rather, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and I, to that, am of those who testify. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 57
وَتَٱللَّهِ And by Allah لَأَكِيدَنَّ surely, I will plan أَصْنَٰمَكُم (against) your idols بَعْدَ after أَن [that] تُوَلُّوا۟ you go away مُدْبِرِينَ turning (your) backs."
English - And [I swear] by Allah, I will surely plan against your idols after you have turned and gone away.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 58
فَجَعَلَهُمْ So he made them جُذَٰذًا (into) pieces إِلَّا except كَبِيرًا a large (one) لَّهُمْ of them, لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may إِلَيْهِ to it يَرْجِعُونَ return.
English - So he made them into fragments, except a large one among them, that they might return to it [and question]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 59
قَالُوا۟ They said, مَن "Who فَعَلَ (has) done هَٰذَا this بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ to our gods? إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he لَمِنَ (is) of ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers."
English - They said, “Who has done this to our gods? Indeed, he is of the wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 60
قَالُوا۟ They said, سَمِعْنَا "We heard فَتًى a youth يَذْكُرُهُمْ mention them يُقَالُ he is called لَهُۥٓ he is called إِبْرَٰهِيمُ Ibrahim."
English - . They said, “We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 61
قَالُوا۟ They said, فَأْتُوا۟ "Then bring بِهِۦ him عَلَىٰٓ before أَعْيُنِ (the) eyes ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَشْهَدُونَ bear witness."
English - They said, “Then bring him before the eyes of the people that they may testify.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 62
قَالُوٓا۟ They said, ءَأَنتَ "Have you فَعَلْتَ done هَٰذَا this بِـَٔالِهَتِنَا to our gods يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ O Ibrahim?"
English - They said, “Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 63
قَالَ He said, بَلْ "Nay, فَعَلَهُۥ (some doer) did it. كَبِيرُهُمْ Their chief هَٰذَا (is) this. فَسْـَٔلُوهُمْ So ask them إِن if كَانُوا۟ they (can) يَنطِقُونَ speak."
English - He said, “Rather, this — the largest of them — did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 64
فَرَجَعُوٓا۟ So they returned إِلَىٰٓ to أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves فَقَالُوٓا۟ and said, إِنَّكُمْ "Indeed, you أَنتُمُ [you] ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ (are) the wrongdoers."
English - So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], “Indeed, you are the wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 65
ثُمَّ Then نُكِسُوا۟ they were turned عَلَىٰ on رُءُوسِهِمْ their heads, لَقَدْ "Verily, عَلِمْتَ you know مَا not هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these يَنطِقُونَ (can) speak!"
English - Then they reversed themselves, [saying], “You have already known that these do not speak!” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 66
قَالَ He said, أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ "Then do you worship مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا what لَا (does) not يَنفَعُكُمْ benefit you شَيْـًٔا (in) anything وَلَا and not يَضُرُّكُمْ harms you?
English - He said, “Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 67
أُفٍّ Uff لَّكُمْ to you وَلِمَا and to what تَعْبُدُونَ you worship مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah. أَفَلَا Then will not تَعْقِلُونَ you use reason?"
English - Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allah. Then will you not use reason?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 68
قَالُوا۟ They said, حَرِّقُوهُ "Burn him وَٱنصُرُوٓا۟ and support ءَالِهَتَكُمْ your gods, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are فَٰعِلِينَ doers."
English - They said, “Burn him and support your gods — if you are to act.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 69
قُلْنَا We said, يَٰنَارُ "O fire! كُونِى Be بَرْدًا cool[ness] وَسَلَٰمًا and safe[ty] عَلَىٰٓ for إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim."
English - Allah said, “O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 70
وَأَرَادُوا۟ And they intended بِهِۦ for him, كَيْدًا a plan فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ but We made them ٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ the greatest losers.
English - And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 71
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ And We delivered him وَلُوطًا and Lut إِلَى to ٱلْأَرْضِ the land ٱلَّتِى which بَٰرَكْنَا We (had) blessed فِيهَا [in it] لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ for the worlds.
English - And We delivered him and Lot to the land which We had blessed for the worlds. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 72
وَوَهَبْنَا And We bestowed لَهُۥٓ on him إِسْحَٰقَ Isaac وَيَعْقُوبَ and Yaqub نَافِلَةً (in) addition, وَكُلًّا and all جَعَلْنَا We made صَٰلِحِينَ righteous.
English - And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 73
وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ And We made them أَئِمَّةً leaders, يَهْدُونَ they guide بِأَمْرِنَا by Our Command. وَأَوْحَيْنَآ And We inspired إِلَيْهِمْ to them فِعْلَ (the) doing ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ (of) good deeds, وَإِقَامَ and establishment ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ (of) the prayer وَإِيتَآءَ and giving ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ (of) zakah; وَكَانُوا۟ and they were لَنَا of Us عَٰبِدِينَ worshippers.
English - And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshippers of Us. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 74
وَلُوطًا And (to) Lut ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ We gave him حُكْمًا judgment وَعِلْمًا and knowledge, وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ and We saved him مِنَ from ٱلْقَرْيَةِ the town ٱلَّتِى which كَانَت was تَّعْمَلُ doing ٱلْخَبَٰٓئِثَ wicked deeds. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ were قَوْمَ a people سَوْءٍ evil, فَٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient.
English - And to Lot We gave judgment and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 75
وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُ And We admitted him فِى into رَحْمَتِنَآ Our Mercy. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he مِنَ (was) of ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
English - And We admitted him into Our mercy. Indeed, he was of the righteous. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 76
وَنُوحًا And Nuh, إِذْ when نَادَىٰ he called مِن before, قَبْلُ before, فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا so We responded لَهُۥ to him فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ and We saved him وَأَهْلَهُۥ and his family مِنَ from ٱلْكَرْبِ the affliction, ٱلْعَظِيمِ [the] great.
English - And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 77
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُ And We helped him مِنَ from ٱلْقَوْمِ the people ٱلَّذِينَ who كَذَّبُوا۟ denied بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ Our Signs. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ were قَوْمَ a people سَوْءٍ evil, فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ so We drowned them أَجْمَعِينَ all.
English - And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 78
وَدَاوُۥدَ And Dawud وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ and Sulaiman, إِذْ when يَحْكُمَانِ they judged فِى concerning ٱلْحَرْثِ the field, إِذْ when نَفَشَتْ pastured فِيهِ in it غَنَمُ sheep ٱلْقَوْمِ (of) a people, وَكُنَّا and We were لِحُكْمِهِمْ to their judgment شَٰهِدِينَ witness.
English - And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field —when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 79
فَفَهَّمْنَٰهَا And We gave understanding of it سُلَيْمَٰنَ (to) Sulaiman, وَكُلًّا and (to) each ءَاتَيْنَا We gave حُكْمًا judgment وَعِلْمًا and knowledge. وَسَخَّرْنَا And We subjected مَعَ with دَاوُۥدَ Dawud ٱلْجِبَالَ the mountains يُسَبِّحْنَ (to) glorify Our praises وَٱلطَّيْرَ and the birds. وَكُنَّا And We were فَٰعِلِينَ the Doers.
English - And We gave understanding of the case to Solomon, and to each [of them] We gave judgment and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains to exalt [Us], along with David and [also] the birds. And We were doing [that]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 80
وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُ And We taught him صَنْعَةَ (the) making لَبُوسٍ (of) coats of armor لَّكُمْ for you لِتُحْصِنَكُم to protect you مِّنۢ from بَأْسِكُمْ your battle. فَهَلْ Then will أَنتُمْ you شَٰكِرُونَ (be) grateful?
English - And We taught him the fashioning of coats of armor to protect you from your [enemy in] battle. So will you then be grateful? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 81
وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ And to Sulaiman, ٱلرِّيحَ the wind عَاصِفَةً forcefully تَجْرِى blowing بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ by his command إِلَى to ٱلْأَرْضِ the land ٱلَّتِى which بَٰرَكْنَا We blessed فِيهَا [in it]. وَكُنَّا And We are بِكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing عَٰلِمِينَ Knowers.
English - And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing forcefully, proceeding by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And We are ever, of all things, Knowing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 82
وَمِنَ And of ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ the devils مَن (were some) who يَغُوصُونَ would dive لَهُۥ for him وَيَعْمَلُونَ and would do عَمَلًا work دُونَ other than ذَٰلِكَ that. وَكُنَّا And We were لَهُمْ of them حَٰفِظِينَ Guardians.
English - And of the devils were those who dived for him and did work other than that. And We were of them a guardian. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 83
وَأَيُّوبَ And Ayub, إِذْ when نَادَىٰ he called رَبَّهُۥٓ (to) his Lord, أَنِّى "Indeed, [I] مَسَّنِىَ has touched me ٱلضُّرُّ the adversity, وَأَنتَ and You أَرْحَمُ (are) Most Merciful ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ (of) the Merciful."
English - And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, “Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 84
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا So We responded لَهُۥ to him فَكَشَفْنَا and We removed مَا what بِهِۦ (was) on him مِن of ضُرٍّ (the) adversity. وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ And We gave him أَهْلَهُۥ his family وَمِثْلَهُم and (the) like thereof مَّعَهُمْ with them رَحْمَةً (as) Mercy مِّنْ from Ourselves, عِندِنَا from Ourselves, وَذِكْرَىٰ and a reminder لِلْعَٰبِدِينَ for the worshippers.
English - So We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity. And We gave him [back] his family and the like thereof with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers [of Allah]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 85
وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ And Ishmael وَإِدْرِيسَ and Idris وَذَا and Dhul-Kifl; ٱلْكِفْلِ and Dhul-Kifl; كُلٌّ all مِّنَ (were) of ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ the patient ones.
English - And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 86
وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ And We admitted them فِى in رَحْمَتِنَآ Our Mercy. إِنَّهُم Indeed, they مِّنَ (were) of ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
English - And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 87
وَذَا And Dhun-Nun ٱلنُّونِ And Dhun-Nun إِذ when ذَّهَبَ he went مُغَٰضِبًا (while) angry فَظَنَّ and thought أَن that لَّن never نَّقْدِرَ We would decree عَلَيْهِ upon him. فَنَادَىٰ Then he called فِى in ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ the darkness(es) أَن that, لَّآ "(There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّآ except أَنتَ You, سُبْحَٰنَكَ Glory be to You! إِنِّى Indeed, [I] كُنتُ I am مِنَ of ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers."
English - And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, “There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 88
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا So We responded لَهُۥ to him, وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ and We saved him مِنَ from ٱلْغَمِّ the distress. وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus نُۨجِى We save ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 89
وَزَكَرِيَّآ And Zakariya, إِذْ when نَادَىٰ he called رَبَّهُۥ (to) his Lord, رَبِّ "My Lord! لَا (Do) not تَذَرْنِى leave me فَرْدًا alone, وَأَنتَ while You خَيْرُ (are) [the] Best ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ (of) the inheritors."
English - And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, “My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 90
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا So We responded لَهُۥ to him, وَوَهَبْنَا and We bestowed لَهُۥ on him يَحْيَىٰ Yahya, وَأَصْلَحْنَا and We cured لَهُۥ for him زَوْجَهُۥٓ his wife. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ used (to) يُسَٰرِعُونَ hasten فِى in ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ good deeds, وَيَدْعُونَنَا and they supplicate to Us رَغَبًا (in) hope وَرَهَبًا and fear, وَكَانُوا۟ and they were لَنَا to Us خَٰشِعِينَ humbly submissive.
English - So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 91
وَٱلَّتِىٓ And she who أَحْصَنَتْ guarded فَرْجَهَا her chastity, فَنَفَخْنَا so We breathed فِيهَا into her مِن of رُّوحِنَا Our Spirit, وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا and We made her وَٱبْنَهَآ and her son ءَايَةً a sign لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ for the worlds.
English - And [mention] the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 92
إِنَّ Indeed, هَٰذِهِۦٓ this أُمَّتُكُمْ (is) your religion - أُمَّةً religion وَٰحِدَةً one, وَأَنَا۠ and I Am رَبُّكُمْ your Lord, فَٱعْبُدُونِ so worship Me.
English - Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 93
وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ But they cut off أَمْرَهُم their affair بَيْنَهُمْ among themselves, كُلٌّ all إِلَيْنَا to Us رَٰجِعُونَ (will) return.
English - And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 94
فَمَن Then whoever يَعْمَلْ does مِنَ [of] ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ [the] righteous deeds وَهُوَ while he مُؤْمِنٌ (is) a believer فَلَا then not كُفْرَانَ (will be) rejected لِسَعْيِهِۦ [of] his effort. وَإِنَّا And indeed, We لَهُۥ of it كَٰتِبُونَ (are) Recorders.
English - So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer — no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 95
وَحَرَٰمٌ And (there is) prohibition عَلَىٰ upon قَرْيَةٍ a city أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ which We have destroyed, أَنَّهُمْ that they لَا not يَرْجِعُونَ will return.
English - And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 96
حَتَّىٰٓ Until إِذَا when فُتِحَتْ has been opened يَأْجُوجُ (for) the Yajuj وَمَأْجُوجُ and Majuj, وَهُم and they مِّن from كُلِّ every حَدَبٍ elevation يَنسِلُونَ descend.
English - Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 97
وَٱقْتَرَبَ And has approached ٱلْوَعْدُ the promise ٱلْحَقُّ [the] true فَإِذَا then behold, هِىَ [it] شَٰخِصَةٌ (are) staring أَبْصَٰرُ (the) eyes ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved, يَٰوَيْلَنَا "O woe to us! قَدْ Verily, كُنَّا we had been فِى in غَفْلَةٍ heedlessness مِّنْ of هَٰذَا this; بَلْ nay, كُنَّا we were ظَٰلِمِينَ wrongdoers."
English - And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], “O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 98
إِنَّكُمْ Indeed, you وَمَا and what تَعْبُدُونَ you worship مِن besides Allah دُونِ besides Allah ٱللَّهِ besides Allah حَصَبُ (are) firewood جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell. أَنتُمْ You لَهَا to it وَٰرِدُونَ will come.
English - Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 99
لَوْ If كَانَ were هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these ءَالِهَةً gods, مَّا not وَرَدُوهَا they (would) have come to it. وَكُلٌّ And all فِيهَا therein خَٰلِدُونَ will abide forever.
English - Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 100
لَهُمْ For them فِيهَا therein زَفِيرٌ (is) sighing, وَهُمْ and they فِيهَا therein لَا not يَسْمَعُونَ will hear.
English - For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 101
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those سَبَقَتْ has gone forth لَهُم for them مِّنَّا from Us ٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓ the good, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those عَنْهَا from it مُبْعَدُونَ (will be) removed far.
English - Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us — they are from it far removed. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 102
لَا Not يَسْمَعُونَ they will hear حَسِيسَهَا (the) slightest sound of it وَهُمْ and they فِى in مَا what ٱشْتَهَتْ desire أَنفُسُهُمْ their souls خَٰلِدُونَ will abide forever.
English - They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 103
لَا Not يَحْزُنُهُمُ will grieve them ٱلْفَزَعُ the terror ٱلْأَكْبَرُ [the] greatest, وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ and will meet them ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels, هَٰذَا "This يَوْمُكُمُ (is) your Day ٱلَّذِى which كُنتُمْ you were تُوعَدُونَ promised."
English - They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], “This is your Day which you have been promised” — .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 104
يَوْمَ (The) Day نَطْوِى We will fold ٱلسَّمَآءَ the heaven كَطَىِّ like (the) folding ٱلسِّجِلِّ (of) a scroll لِلْكُتُبِ for records. كَمَا As بَدَأْنَآ We began أَوَّلَ (the) first خَلْقٍ creation نُّعِيدُهُۥ We will repeat it, وَعْدًا a promise عَلَيْنَآ upon Us. إِنَّا Indeed, We - كُنَّا We are فَٰعِلِينَ (the) Doers.
English - The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it. .

Ayah 105
وَلَقَدْ And verily, كَتَبْنَا We have written فِى in ٱلزَّبُورِ the Scripture مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after ٱلذِّكْرِ the mention, أَنَّ that ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth - يَرِثُهَا will inherit it عِبَادِىَ My slaves, ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ the righteous.
English - And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 106
إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in هَٰذَا this لَبَلَٰغًا surely is a Message لِّقَوْمٍ for a people, عَٰبِدِينَ worshippers.
English - Indeed, in this [Qur’an] is notification for a worshipping people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 107
وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ We have sent you إِلَّا but رَحْمَةً (as) a mercy لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ for the worlds.
English - And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 108
قُلْ Say, إِنَّمَا "Only يُوحَىٰٓ it is revealed إِلَىَّ to me أَنَّمَآ that إِلَٰهُكُمْ your god إِلَٰهٌ (is) God وَٰحِدٌ One; فَهَلْ so will أَنتُم you مُّسْلِمُونَ submit (to Him)?"
English - Say, “It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 109
فَإِن But if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away فَقُلْ then say, ءَاذَنتُكُمْ "I (have) announced to you عَلَىٰ equally سَوَآءٍ equally وَإِنْ And not أَدْرِىٓ I know أَقَرِيبٌ whether is near أَم or بَعِيدٌ far مَّا what تُوعَدُونَ you are promised.
English - But if they turn away, then say, “I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 110
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He يَعْلَمُ knows ٱلْجَهْرَ the declared مِنَ [of] ٱلْقَوْلِ [the] speech وَيَعْلَمُ and He knows مَا what تَكْتُمُونَ you conceal.
English - Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 111
وَإِنْ And not أَدْرِى I know, لَعَلَّهُۥ perhaps it may be فِتْنَةٌ a trial لَّكُمْ for you, وَمَتَٰعٌ and an enjoyment إِلَىٰ for حِينٍ a time."
English - And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time.” .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 112
قَٰلَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord! ٱحْكُم judge بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth. وَرَبُّنَا And our Lord ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ (is) the Most Gracious, ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ the One Whose help is sought عَلَىٰ against مَا what تَصِفُونَ you attribute."
English - [The Prophet] has said, “My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe.” .
