Ayah 1
أَتَىٰٓ Will come أَمْرُ (the) command of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) command of Allah فَلَا so (do) not تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ (be) impatient for it. سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glorified is He وَتَعَٰلَىٰ and Exalted (is) He عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate.
English - The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - अल्लाह का हुक्म आ पहुँचा तो तुम इसकी जल्दी न मचाओ, जिस चीज़ को यह लोग साझी ठहराते हैं उस से वह बहुत पाक और ऊँचा है।.
Ayah 2
يُنَزِّلُ He sends down ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ the Angels بِٱلرُّوحِ with the inspiration مِنْ of أَمْرِهِۦ His Command, عَلَىٰ upon مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills مِنْ of عِبَادِهِۦٓ His slaves, أَنْ that أَنذِرُوٓا۟ "Warn أَنَّهُۥ that [He] لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّآ except أَنَا۠ Me, فَٱتَّقُونِ so fear Me."
English - He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." .
हिंदी - वह अपने हुक्म से, अपने बंदों में से जिस पर चाहता है वही (प्रकाशना) के साथ फ़रिश्तों को उतारता है कि तुम ख़बरदार कर दो कि कोई पूज्य नहीं सिवाए मेरे, तो मुझ से सतर्क रहो।.
Ayah 3
خَلَقَ He created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth, بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth. تَعَٰلَىٰ Exalted is He عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate.
English - He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - उस ने आसमानों और ज़मीन को हक़ के साथ पैदा किया, वह उस से बहुत ऊँचा है जिसे यह लोग साझी ठहराते हैं।.
Ayah 4
خَلَقَ He created ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ the human kind مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a minute quantity of semen فَإِذَا then behold, هُوَ he خَصِيمٌ (is) an opponent مُّبِينٌ clear.
English - He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary. .
हिंदी - उस ने इंसान को एक बूँद से पैदा किया फिर वह अचानक खुल्लम खुल्ला झगड़ालू हो गया।.
Ayah 5
وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ And the cattle, خَلَقَهَا He created them لَكُمْ for you, فِيهَا in them دِفْءٌ (is) warmth وَمَنَٰفِعُ and benefits وَمِنْهَا and from them تَأْكُلُونَ you eat.
English - And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. .
हिंदी - और जानवरों को उसी ने पैदा किया, तुम्हारे लिए उन मे गरमाहट और कई फ़ायदे हैं और उन में से तुम खाते हो।.
Ayah 6
وَلَكُمْ And for you فِيهَا in them جَمَالٌ (is) beauty حِينَ when تُرِيحُونَ you bring them in وَحِينَ and when تَسْرَحُونَ you take them out.
English - And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture]. .
हिंदी - और तुम्हारे लिए उन में ख़ूबसूरती है जिस वक़्त तुम शाम को चरा कर लाते हो और जब तुम सुबह चराने जाते हो।.
Ayah 7
وَتَحْمِلُ And they carry أَثْقَالَكُمْ your loads إِلَىٰ to بَلَدٍ a land لَّمْ not تَكُونُوا۟ you could بَٰلِغِيهِ reach it إِلَّا except بِشِقِّ with great trouble ٱلْأَنفُسِ (to) yourselves. إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكُمْ your Lord لَرَءُوفٌ surely is Most Kind, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 8
وَٱلْخَيْلَ And horses وَٱلْبِغَالَ and mules وَٱلْحَمِيرَ and donkeys لِتَرْكَبُوهَا for you to ride them وَزِينَةً and (as) adornment. وَيَخْلُقُ And He creates مَا what لَا not تَعْلَمُونَ you know.
English - And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 9
وَعَلَى And upon ٱللَّهِ Allah قَصْدُ (is) the direction ٱلسَّبِيلِ (of) the way, وَمِنْهَا and among them جَآئِرٌ (are) crooked. وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ He willed, لَهَدَىٰكُمْ surely He would have guided you أَجْمَعِينَ all.
English - And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 10
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَنزَلَ sends down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water لَّكُم for you مِّنْهُ of it شَرَابٌ (is) drink, وَمِنْهُ and from it شَجَرٌ (grows) vegetation فِيهِ in which تُسِيمُونَ you pasture your cattle.
English - It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 11
يُنۢبِتُ He causes to grow لَكُم for you بِهِ with it, ٱلزَّرْعَ the crops وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ and the olives وَٱلنَّخِيلَ and the date-palms وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبَ and the grapes وَمِن and of كُلِّ every kind ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ (of) fruits. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً surely (is) a sign لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ who reflect.
English - He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 12
وَسَخَّرَ And He has subjected لَكُمُ for you ٱلَّيْلَ the night وَٱلنَّهَارَ and the day, وَٱلشَّمْسَ and the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon, وَٱلنُّجُومُ and the stars مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ (are) subjected بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ by His command. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْقِلُونَ who use reason.
English - And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 13
وَمَا And whatever ذَرَأَ He multiplied لَكُمْ for you فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مُخْتَلِفًا (of) varying أَلْوَٰنُهُۥٓ colors. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً surely (is) a sign لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَذَّكَّرُونَ who remember.
English - And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 14
وَهُوَ And He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who سَخَّرَ subjected ٱلْبَحْرَ the sea لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ for you to eat مِنْهُ from it لَحْمًا meat طَرِيًّا fresh وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟ and that you bring forth مِنْهُ from it, حِلْيَةً ornaments تَلْبَسُونَهَا (that) you wear them. وَتَرَى And you see ٱلْفُلْكَ the ships مَوَاخِرَ ploughing فِيهِ through it, وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ and that you may seek مِن of فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty, وَلَعَلَّكُمْ and that you may تَشْكُرُونَ (be) grateful.
English - And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 15
وَأَلْقَىٰ And He has cast فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth رَوَٰسِىَ firm mountains, أَن lest تَمِيدَ it should shake بِكُمْ with you, وَأَنْهَٰرًا and rivers وَسُبُلًا and roads لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَهْتَدُونَ be guided,
English - And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided, .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 16
وَعَلَٰمَٰتٍ And landmarks. وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ And by the stars هُمْ they يَهْتَدُونَ guide themselves.
English - And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 17
أَفَمَن Then is He Who يَخْلُقُ creates كَمَن like one who لَّا (does) not يَخْلُقُ create? أَفَلَا Then will you not تَذَكَّرُونَ remember?
English - Then is He who creates like one who does not create? So will you not be reminded? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 18
وَإِن And if تَعُدُّوا۟ you should count نِعْمَةَ the Favors of Allah, ٱللَّهِ the Favors of Allah, لَا not تُحْصُوهَآ you could enumerate them. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَغَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 19
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَعْلَمُ knows مَا what تُسِرُّونَ you conceal وَمَا and what تُعْلِنُونَ you reveal.
English - And Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 20
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those whom يَدْعُونَ they invoke مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah لَا not يَخْلُقُونَ they create شَيْـًٔا anything, وَهُمْ but (are) themselves يُخْلَقُونَ created.
English - And those they invoke other than Allah create nothing, and they [themselves] are created. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 21
أَمْوَٰتٌ (They are) dead غَيْرُ not alive. أَحْيَآءٍ not alive. وَمَا And not يَشْعُرُونَ they perceive أَيَّانَ when يُبْعَثُونَ they will be resurrected.
English - They are, [in fact], dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 22
إِلَٰهُكُمْ Your god إِلَٰهٌ (is) God وَٰحِدٌ One. فَٱلَّذِينَ But those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, قُلُوبُهُم their hearts مُّنكِرَةٌ refuse, وَهُم and they مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ (are) arrogant.
English - Your god is one God. But those who do not believe in the Hereafter – their hearts are disapproving, and they are arrogant. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 23
لَا No doubt جَرَمَ No doubt أَنَّ that ٱللَّهَ Allah يَعْلَمُ knows مَا what يُسِرُّونَ they conceal وَمَا and what يُعْلِنُونَ they reveal. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He لَا (does) not يُحِبُّ love ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ the arrogant ones.
English - Assuredly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 24
وَإِذَا And when قِيلَ it is said لَهُم to them, مَّاذَآ "What أَنزَلَ has your Lord sent down? رَبُّكُمْ has your Lord sent down? قَالُوٓا۟ They say, أَسَٰطِيرُ "Tales ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the ancient."
English - And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?" They say, "Legends of the former peoples," .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 25
لِيَحْمِلُوٓا۟ That they may bear أَوْزَارَهُمْ their own burdens كَامِلَةً (in) full يَوْمَ on (the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, وَمِنْ and of أَوْزَارِ the burdens ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those whom يُضِلُّونَهُم they misled [them] بِغَيْرِ without عِلْمٍ knowledge. أَلَا Unquestionably, سَآءَ evil مَا (is) what يَزِرُونَ they will bear.
English - That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and some of the burdens of those whom they misguide without knowledge. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 26
قَدْ Verily, مَكَرَ plotted ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before them, قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them, فَأَتَى but Allah came ٱللَّهُ but Allah came بُنْيَٰنَهُم (at) their building مِّنَ from ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ the foundations, فَخَرَّ so fell عَلَيْهِمُ upon them ٱلسَّقْفُ the roof مِن from فَوْقِهِمْ above them, وَأَتَىٰهُمُ and came to them ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment مِنْ from حَيْثُ where لَا they (did) not perceive. يَشْعُرُونَ they (did) not perceive.
English - Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 27
ثُمَّ Then يَوْمَ (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, يُخْزِيهِمْ He will disgrace them وَيَقُولُ and say, أَيْنَ "Where شُرَكَآءِىَ (are) My partners ٱلَّذِينَ those (for) whom كُنتُمْ you used (to) تُشَٰٓقُّونَ oppose فِيهِمْ [in them]?" قَالَ Will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ were given ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْخِزْىَ the disgrace, ٱلْيَوْمَ this Day وَٱلسُّوٓءَ and evil عَلَى (are) upon ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers"
English - Then on the Day of Resurrection He will disgrace them and say, "Where are My 'partners' for whom you used to oppose [the believers]?" Those who were given knowledge will say, "Indeed disgrace, this Day, and evil are upon the disbelievers" – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 28
ٱلَّذِينَ Those whom - تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ take them in death ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels ظَالِمِىٓ (while) wronging أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves, فَأَلْقَوُا۟ then they would offer ٱلسَّلَمَ the submission, مَا "Not كُنَّا we were نَعْمَلُ doing مِن any سُوٓءٍۭ evil." بَلَىٰٓ Nay, إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِمَا of what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - The ones whom the angels take in death [while] wronging themselves, and [who] then offer submission, [saying], "We were not doing any evil." But, yes! Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 29
فَٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ So enter أَبْوَٰبَ (the) gates جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell خَٰلِدِينَ (to) abide forever فِيهَا in it. فَلَبِئْسَ Surely, wretched مَثْوَى (is the) abode ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ (of) the arrogant.
English - So enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and how wretched is the residence of the arrogant. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 30
وَقِيلَ And it will be said لِلَّذِينَ to those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ fear Allah, مَاذَآ "What أَنزَلَ has your Lord sent down?" رَبُّكُمْ has your Lord sent down?" قَالُوا۟ They will say, خَيْرًا "Good." لِّلَّذِينَ For those who أَحْسَنُوا۟ do good فِى in هَٰذِهِ this ٱلدُّنْيَا world حَسَنَةٌ (is) a good, وَلَدَارُ and the home ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ of the Hereafter خَيْرٌ (is) better. وَلَنِعْمَ And surely excellent دَارُ (is) the home ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ (of) the righteous.
English - And it will be said to those who feared Allah, "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "[That which is] good." For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 31
جَنَّٰتُ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eden - يَدْخُلُونَهَا which they will enter, تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers. لَهُمْ For them فِيهَا therein مَا (will be) whatever يَشَآءُونَ they wish. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يَجْزِى Allah rewards ٱللَّهُ Allah rewards ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous,
English - Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow. They will have therein whatever they wish. Thus does Allah reward the righteous – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 32
ٱلَّذِينَ Those whom تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ take them in death ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels طَيِّبِينَ (when they are) pure يَقُولُونَ saying, سَلَٰمٌ "Peace عَلَيْكُمُ (be) upon you. ٱدْخُلُوا۟ Enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ Paradise بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do."
English - The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 33
هَلْ Do يَنظُرُونَ they wait إِلَّآ except أَن that تَأْتِيَهُمُ (should) come to them ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels أَوْ or يَأْتِىَ (should) come أَمْرُ (the) Command رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord? كَذَٰلِكَ Thus فَعَلَ did ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before them. قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them. وَمَا And not ظَلَمَهُمُ wronged them ٱللَّهُ Allah وَلَٰكِن but كَانُوٓا۟ they were أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves يَظْلِمُونَ wronging.
English - Do the disbelievers await [anything] except that the angels should come to them or there comes the command of your Lord? Thus did those do before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they had been wronging themselves. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 34
فَأَصَابَهُمْ Then struck them سَيِّـَٔاتُ (the) evil (results) مَا (of) what عَمِلُوا۟ they did, وَحَاقَ and surrounded بِهِم them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) بِهِۦ [of it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock.
English - So they were struck by the evil consequences of what they did and were enveloped by what they used to ridicule. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 35
وَقَالَ And said ٱلَّذِينَ those who أَشْرَكُوا۟ associate partners (with Allah), لَوْ "If شَآءَ Allah (had) willed ٱللَّهُ Allah (had) willed مَا not عَبَدْنَا we (would) have worshipped مِن other than Him دُونِهِۦ other than Him مِن any شَىْءٍ thing, نَّحْنُ we وَلَآ and not ءَابَآؤُنَا our forefathers وَلَا and not حَرَّمْنَا we (would) have forbidden مِن other than Him دُونِهِۦ other than Him مِن anything." شَىْءٍ anything." كَذَٰلِكَ Thus فَعَلَ did ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) before them. قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them. فَهَلْ Then is (there) عَلَى on ٱلرُّسُلِ the messengers إِلَّا except ٱلْبَلَٰغُ the conveyance ٱلْمُبِينُ clear?
English - And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 36
وَلَقَدْ And certainly, بَعَثْنَا We sent فِى into كُلِّ every أُمَّةٍ nation رَّسُولًا a Messenger, أَنِ that, ٱعْبُدُوا۟ "Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah, وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ and avoid ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ the false deities." فَمِنْهُم Then among them مَّنْ (were some) whom هَدَى Allah guided, ٱللَّهُ Allah guided, وَمِنْهُم and among them مَّنْ (were) some حَقَّتْ was justified عَلَيْهِ on them ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ the straying. فَسِيرُوا۟ So travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَٱنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ the end ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ (of) the deniers.
English - And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid taghūt." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 37
إِن If تَحْرِصْ you desire عَلَىٰ [for] هُدَىٰهُمْ their guidance, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (will) not يَهْدِى guide مَن whom يُضِلُّ He lets go astray, وَمَا and not (are) لَهُم for them مِّن any نَّٰصِرِينَ helpers.
English - [Even] if you should strive for their guidance, [O Muhammad], indeed, Allah does not guide those He sends astray, and they will have no helpers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 38
وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ And they swear بِٱللَّهِ by Allah جَهْدَ strongest أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ (of) their oaths, لَا Allah will not resurrect يَبْعَثُ Allah will not resurrect ٱللَّهُ Allah will not resurrect مَن (one) who يَمُوتُ dies. بَلَىٰ Nay, وَعْدًا (it is) a promise عَلَيْهِ upon Him حَقًّا (in) truth, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَ most ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the mankind لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths [that] Allah will not resurrect one who dies. But yes – [it is] a true promise [binding] upon Him, but most of the people do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 39
لِيُبَيِّنَ That He will make clear لَهُمُ to them ٱلَّذِى that يَخْتَلِفُونَ they differ فِيهِ wherein, وَلِيَعْلَمَ and that may know ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieved أَنَّهُمْ that they كَانُوا۟ were كَٰذِبِينَ liars.
English - [It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 40
إِنَّمَا Only قَوْلُنَا Our Word لِشَىْءٍ to a thing إِذَآ when أَرَدْنَٰهُ We intend it أَن (is) that نَّقُولَ We say لَهُۥ to it, كُن "Be" فَيَكُونُ and it is.
English - Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be," and it is. .

Ayah 41
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هَاجَرُوا۟ emigrated فِى in (the way) ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا [what] ظُلِمُوا۟ they were wronged, لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ surely We will give them position فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world حَسَنَةً good, وَلَأَجْرُ but surely the reward ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter أَكْبَرُ (is) greater, لَوْ if كَانُوا۟ they يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged – We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know. .

Ayah 42
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who صَبَرُوا۟ (are) patient وَعَلَىٰ and on رَبِّهِمْ their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ they put their trust.
English - [They are] those who endured patiently and upon their Lord relied. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 43
وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you إِلَّا except رِجَالًا men, نُّوحِىٓ We revealed إِلَيْهِمْ to them, فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ so ask أَهْلَ (the) people ٱلذِّكْرِ (of) the Reminder إِن if كُنتُمْ you لَا (do) not تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 44
بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ With the clear proofs وَٱلزُّبُرِ and the Books. وَأَنزَلْنَآ And We sent down إِلَيْكَ to you ٱلذِّكْرَ the Remembrance, لِتُبَيِّنَ that you may make clear لِلنَّاسِ to the mankind, مَا what نُزِّلَ has been sent down إِلَيْهِمْ to them وَلَعَلَّهُمْ and that they may يَتَفَكَّرُونَ reflect.
English - [We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 45
أَفَأَمِنَ Do then feel secure ٱلَّذِينَ those who مَكَرُوا۟ plotted ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ the evil deeds أَن that يَخْسِفَ Allah will cave ٱللَّهُ Allah will cave بِهِمُ with them ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth أَوْ or يَأْتِيَهُمُ will come to them ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment مِنْ from حَيْثُ where لَا not يَشْعُرُونَ they perceive?
English - Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 46
أَوْ Or يَأْخُذَهُمْ that He may seize them فِى in تَقَلُّبِهِمْ their going to and fro فَمَا then not هُم they بِمُعْجِزِينَ will be able to escape?
English - Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 47
أَوْ Or يَأْخُذَهُمْ that He may seize them عَلَىٰ with تَخَوُّفٍ a gradual wasting فَإِنَّ But indeed, رَبَّكُمْ your Lord لَرَءُوفٌ (is) surely Full of Kindness, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 48
أَوَلَمْ Have not يَرَوْا۟ they seen إِلَىٰ [towards] مَا what خَلَقَ Allah has created ٱللَّهُ Allah has created مِن from شَىْءٍ a thing? يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ Incline ظِلَٰلُهُۥ their shadows عَنِ to ٱلْيَمِينِ the right وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ and to the left, سُجَّدًا prostrating لِّلَّهِ to Allah وَهُمْ while they دَٰخِرُونَ (are) humble?
English - Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they are humble. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 49
وَلِلَّهِ And to Allah يَسْجُدُ prostrate مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مِن of دَآبَّةٍ moving creatures وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ and the Angels, وَهُمْ and they لَا (are) not يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ arrogant.
English - And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 50
يَخَافُونَ They fear رَبَّهُم their Lord مِّن above them, فَوْقِهِمْ above them, وَيَفْعَلُونَ and they do مَا what يُؤْمَرُونَ they are commanded.
English - They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 51
وَقَالَ And Allah has said, ٱللَّهُ And Allah has said, لَا "(Do) not تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ take إِلَٰهَيْنِ [two] gods ٱثْنَيْنِ two, إِنَّمَا only هُوَ He إِلَٰهٌ (is) God وَٰحِدٌ One, فَإِيَّٰىَ so Me Alone فَٱرْهَبُونِ you fear [Me]."
English - And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 52
وَلَهُۥ And to Him (belongs) مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَلَهُ and to Him ٱلدِّينُ (is due) the worship وَاصِبًا constantly. أَفَغَيْرَ Then is it other (than) ٱللَّهِ Allah تَتَّقُونَ you fear?
English - And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 53
وَمَا And whatever بِكُم you have مِّن of نِّعْمَةٍ favor فَمِنَ (is) from ٱللَّهِ Allah. ثُمَّ Then إِذَا when مَسَّكُمُ touches you ٱلضُّرُّ the adversity فَإِلَيْهِ then to Him تَجْـَٔرُونَ you cry for help.
English - And whatever you have of favor – it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 54
ثُمَّ Then إِذَا when كَشَفَ He removes ٱلضُّرَّ the adversity عَنكُمْ from you, إِذَا behold! فَرِيقٌ A group مِّنكُم of you بِرَبِّهِمْ with their Lord يُشْرِكُونَ associate others,
English - Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 55
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ So as to deny بِمَآ that which ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ We have given them. فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ Then enjoy yourselves, فَسَوْفَ soon تَعْلَمُونَ you will know.
English - So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 56
وَيَجْعَلُونَ And they assign لِمَا to what لَا not يَعْلَمُونَ they know - نَصِيبًا a portion, مِّمَّا of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ We have provided them. تَٱللَّهِ By Allah لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ surely you will be asked عَمَّا about what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَفْتَرُونَ invent.
English - And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 57
وَيَجْعَلُونَ And they assign لِلَّهِ to Allah ٱلْبَنَٰتِ daughters. سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him! وَلَهُم And for them مَّا (is) what يَشْتَهُونَ they desire.
English - And they attribute to Allah daughters – exalted is He – and for them is what they desire. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 58
وَإِذَا And when بُشِّرَ is given good news أَحَدُهُم (to) one of them بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ of a female, ظَلَّ turns وَجْهُهُۥ his face مُسْوَدًّا dark وَهُوَ and he كَظِيمٌ suppresses grief.
English - And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 59
يَتَوَٰرَىٰ He hides himself مِنَ from ٱلْقَوْمِ the people مِن (because) of سُوٓءِ the evil مَا of what بُشِّرَ he has been given good news بِهِۦٓ about. أَيُمْسِكُهُۥ Should he keep it عَلَىٰ in هُونٍ humiliation أَمْ or يَدُسُّهُۥ bury it فِى in ٱلتُّرَابِ the dust? أَلَا Unquestionably, سَآءَ evil مَا (is) what يَحْكُمُونَ they decide.
English - He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 60
لِلَّذِينَ For those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, مَثَلُ (is) a similitude ٱلسَّوْءِ (of) the evil, وَلِلَّهِ and for Allah ٱلْمَثَلُ (is) the similitude ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ the Highest. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ All-Wise.
English - For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 61
وَلَوْ And if يُؤَاخِذُ Allah were to seize ٱللَّهُ Allah were to seize ٱلنَّاسَ the mankind بِظُلْمِهِم for their wrongdoing مَّا not تَرَكَ He (would) have left عَلَيْهَا upon it مِن any دَآبَّةٍ moving creature, وَلَٰكِن but يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ He defers them إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed. فَإِذَا Then when جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their terms لَا not يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ they (will) remain behind سَاعَةً an hour وَلَا and not يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ they can advance (it).
English - And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 62
وَيَجْعَلُونَ And they assign لِلَّهِ to Allah مَا what يَكْرَهُونَ they dislike وَتَصِفُ and assert أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ their tongues ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie أَنَّ that لَهُمُ for them ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ (is) the best. لَا No جَرَمَ doubt أَنَّ that لَهُمُ for them ٱلنَّارَ (is) the Fire وَأَنَّهُم and that they مُّفْرَطُونَ (will) be abandoned.
English - And they attribute to Allah that which they dislike, and their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [from Him]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire, and they will be [therein] neglected. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 63
تَٱللَّهِ By Allah, لَقَدْ certainly أَرْسَلْنَآ We have sent إِلَىٰٓ to أُمَمٍ nations مِّن before you قَبْلِكَ before you فَزَيَّنَ but made fair-seeming لَهُمُ to them ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds. فَهُوَ So he وَلِيُّهُمُ (is) their ally ٱلْيَوْمَ today, وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - By Allah, We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Satan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is the disbelievers’ ally today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 64
وَمَآ And not أَنزَلْنَا We revealed عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book إِلَّا except لِتُبَيِّنَ that you make clear لَهُمُ to them ٱلَّذِى that which ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ they differed فِيهِ in it, وَهُدًى and (as) a guidance وَرَحْمَةً and mercy لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ who believe.
English - And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 65
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah أَنزَلَ has sent down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water, فَأَحْيَا then gives life بِهِ by it ٱلْأَرْضَ (to) the earth بَعْدَ after مَوْتِهَآ its death. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً (is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَسْمَعُونَ who listen.
English - And Allah has sent down rain from the sky and given life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who listen. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 66
وَإِنَّ And indeed, لَكُمْ for you فِى in ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ the cattle لَعِبْرَةً (is) a lesson. نُّسْقِيكُم We give you to drink مِّمَّا from what فِى (is) in بُطُونِهِۦ their bellies, مِنۢ from بَيْنِ between فَرْثٍ bowels وَدَمٍ and blood, لَّبَنًا milk خَالِصًا pure, سَآئِغًا palatable لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ to the drinkers.
English - And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies – between excretion and blood – pure milk, palatable to drinkers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 67
وَمِن And from ثَمَرَٰتِ fruits ٱلنَّخِيلِ the date-palm, وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبِ and the grapes, تَتَّخِذُونَ you take مِنْهُ from it سَكَرًا intoxicant وَرِزْقًا and a provision حَسَنًا good. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً (is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْقِلُونَ who use reason.
English - And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 68
وَأَوْحَىٰ And inspired رَبُّكَ your Lord إِلَى to ٱلنَّحْلِ the bee, أَنِ [that] ٱتَّخِذِى "Take مِنَ among ٱلْجِبَالِ the mountains, بُيُوتًا houses وَمِنَ and among ٱلشَّجَرِ the trees, وَمِمَّا and in what يَعْرِشُونَ they construct.
English - And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 69
ثُمَّ Then كُلِى eat مِن from كُلِّ all ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ the fruits فَٱسْلُكِى and follow سُبُلَ (the) ways رَبِّكِ (of) your Lord ذُلُلًا made smooth." يَخْرُجُ Comes forth مِنۢ from بُطُونِهَا their bellies شَرَابٌ a drink مُّخْتَلِفٌ (of) varying أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ colors, فِيهِ in it شِفَآءٌ (is) a healing لِّلنَّاسِ for the mankind. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً (is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ who reflect.
English - Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 70
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَلَقَكُمْ created you, ثُمَّ then يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ will cause you to die. وَمِنكُم And among you مَّن (is one) who يُرَدُّ is sent back إِلَىٰٓ to أَرْذَلِ the worst ٱلْعُمُرِ (of) the age, لِكَىْ so that لَا not يَعْلَمَ he will know بَعْدَ after عِلْمٍ knowledge شَيْـًٔا a thing. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knowing, قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful.
English - And Allah created you; then He will take you in death. And among you is he who is reversed to the most decrepit [old] age so that he will not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Competent. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 71
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah فَضَّلَ has favored بَعْضَكُمْ some of you عَلَىٰ over بَعْضٍ others فِى in ٱلرِّزْقِ [the] provision. فَمَا But not ٱلَّذِينَ those who فُضِّلُوا۟ were favored بِرَآدِّى would hand over رِزْقِهِمْ their provision عَلَىٰ to مَا whom مَلَكَتْ possess أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ their right hands, فَهُمْ so (that) they فِيهِ (are) in it سَوَآءٌ equal. أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ Then is it the Favor ٱللَّهِ of Allah يَجْحَدُونَ they reject?
English - And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 72
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah جَعَلَ (has) made لَكُم for you مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves أَزْوَٰجًا spouses, وَجَعَلَ and has made لَكُم for you مِّنْ from أَزْوَٰجِكُم your spouses بَنِينَ sons وَحَفَدَةً and grandsons وَرَزَقَكُم and has provided for you مِّنَ from ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ the good things. أَفَبِٱلْبَٰطِلِ Then in falsehood do يُؤْمِنُونَ they believe, وَبِنِعْمَتِ and the Favor ٱللَّهِ of Allah هُمْ they يَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve?
English - And Allah has made for you from yourselves mates and has made for you from your mates sons and grandchildren and has provided for you from the good things. Then in falsehood do they believe and in the favor of Allah they disbelieve? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 73
وَيَعْبُدُونَ And they worship مِن other than دُونِ other than ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا which لَا not يَمْلِكُ possesses لَهُمْ for them رِزْقًا any provision مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth شَيْـًٔا [anything], وَلَا and not يَسْتَطِيعُونَ they are able.
English - And they worship besides Allah that which does not possess for them [the power of] provision from the heavens and the earth at all, and [in fact], they are unable. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 74
فَلَا So (do) not تَضْرِبُوا۟ put forth لِلَّهِ for Allah ٱلْأَمْثَالَ the similitude. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَعْلَمُ knows وَأَنتُمْ and you لَا (do) not تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - So do not assert similarities to Allah. Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 75
ضَرَبَ Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ Allah sets forth مَثَلًا the example عَبْدًا (of) a slave مَّمْلُوكًا (who is) owned, لَّا not يَقْدِرُ he has power عَلَىٰ on شَىْءٍ anything وَمَن and (one) whom رَّزَقْنَٰهُ We provided him مِنَّا from Us رِزْقًا a provision حَسَنًا good, فَهُوَ so he يُنفِقُ spends مِنْهُ from it, سِرًّا secretly وَجَهْرًا and publicly. هَلْ Can يَسْتَوُۥنَ they be equal? ٱلْحَمْدُ All praise لِلَّهِ (is) for Allah! بَلْ Nay, أَكْثَرُهُمْ but most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Allah presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allah! But most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 76
وَضَرَبَ And Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ And Allah sets forth مَثَلًا an example رَّجُلَيْنِ (of) two men, أَحَدُهُمَآ one of them أَبْكَمُ (is) dumb, لَا not يَقْدِرُ he has power عَلَىٰ on شَىْءٍ anything, وَهُوَ while he كَلٌّ (is) a burden عَلَىٰ on مَوْلَىٰهُ his master. أَيْنَمَا Wherever يُوَجِّههُّ he directs him لَا not يَأْتِ he comes بِخَيْرٍ with any good. هَلْ Is يَسْتَوِى equal هُوَ he وَمَن and (the one) who يَأْمُرُ commands بِٱلْعَدْلِ [of] justice, وَهُوَ and he عَلَىٰ (is) on صِرَٰطٍ a path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ straight?
English - And Allah presents an example of two men, one of them dumb and unable to do a thing, while he is a burden to his guardian. Wherever he directs him, he brings no good. Is he equal to one who commands justice, while he is on a straight path? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 77
وَلِلَّهِ And to Allah (belongs) غَيْبُ (the) unseen ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَمَآ And not أَمْرُ (is the) matter ٱلسَّاعَةِ (of) the Hour إِلَّا but كَلَمْحِ as a twinkling ٱلْبَصَرِ (of) the eye أَوْ or هُوَ it أَقْرَبُ (is) nearer. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ (is) All-Powerful.
English - And to Allah belongs the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 78
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah أَخْرَجَكُم brought you forth مِّنۢ from بُطُونِ the wombs أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ (of) your mothers, لَا not تَعْلَمُونَ knowing شَيْـًٔا anything, وَجَعَلَ and made لَكُمُ for you ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ and the sight وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ and the hearts لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَشْكُرُونَ give thanks.
English - And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 79
أَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see إِلَى towards ٱلطَّيْرِ the birds مُسَخَّرَٰتٍ controlled فِى in جَوِّ the midst ٱلسَّمَآءِ (of) the sky? مَا None يُمْسِكُهُنَّ holds them up إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ who believe.
English - Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. .

Ayah 80
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah جَعَلَ (has) made لَكُم for you مِّنۢ [from] بُيُوتِكُمْ your homes سَكَنًا a resting place, وَجَعَلَ and made لَكُم for you مِّن from جُلُودِ the hides ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ (of) the cattle بُيُوتًا tents, تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا which you find light يَوْمَ (on) the day ظَعْنِكُمْ (of) your travel وَيَوْمَ and the day إِقَامَتِكُمْ (of) your encampment; وَمِنْ and from أَصْوَافِهَا their wool وَأَوْبَارِهَا and their fur وَأَشْعَارِهَآ and their hair أَثَٰثًا (is) furnishing وَمَتَٰعًا and a provision إِلَىٰ for حِينٍ a time.
English - And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest and made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment for a time. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 81
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah جَعَلَ (has) made لَكُم for you مِّمَّا from what خَلَقَ He created, ظِلَٰلًا shades وَجَعَلَ and (has) made لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱلْجِبَالِ the mountains, أَكْنَٰنًا shelters وَجَعَلَ and (has) made لَكُمْ for you سَرَٰبِيلَ garments تَقِيكُمُ to protect you ٱلْحَرَّ (from) the heat وَسَرَٰبِيلَ and garments تَقِيكُم to protect you بَأْسَكُمْ from your (mutual) violence. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُتِمُّ He completes نِعْمَتَهُۥ His Favor عَلَيْكُمْ upon you لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُسْلِمُونَ submit.
English - And Allah has made for you, from that which He has created, shadows and has made for you from the mountains, shelters and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your [enemy in] battle. Thus does He complete His favor upon you that you might submit [to Him]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 82
فَإِن Then, if تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away فَإِنَّمَا then only عَلَيْكَ upon you ٱلْبَلَٰغُ (is) the conveyance ٱلْمُبِينُ the clear.
English - But if they turn away, [O Muhammad] – then only upon you is [responsibility for] clear notification. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 83
يَعْرِفُونَ They recognize نِعْمَتَ (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah; ثُمَّ then يُنكِرُونَهَا they deny it. وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ And most of them ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ (are) the disbelievers.
English - They recognize the favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 84
وَيَوْمَ And the Day نَبْعَثُ We will resurrect مِن from كُلِّ every أُمَّةٍ nation شَهِيدًا a witness, ثُمَّ then لَا not يُؤْذَنُ will be permitted لِلَّذِينَ to those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ will be asked to make amends.
English - And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness. Then it will not be permitted to the disbelievers [to apologize or make excuses], nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 85
وَإِذَا And when رَءَا (will) see ٱلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment, فَلَا then not يُخَفَّفُ it will be lightened عَنْهُمْ for them وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُنظَرُونَ will be given respite.
English - And when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 86
وَإِذَا And when رَءَا (will) see ٱلَّذِينَ those who أَشْرَكُوا۟ associated partners with Allah شُرَكَآءَهُمْ their partners. قَالُوا۟ They will say, رَبَّنَا "Our Lord, هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these شُرَكَآؤُنَا (are) our partners ٱلَّذِينَ those whom كُنَّا we used to نَدْعُوا۟ invoke مِن besides You." دُونِكَ besides You." فَأَلْقَوْا۟ But they (will) throw back إِلَيْهِمُ at them ٱلْقَوْلَ (their) word, إِنَّكُمْ "Indeed, you لَكَٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars."
English - And when those who associated others with Allah see their "partners," they will say," Our Lord, these are our partners [to You] whom we used to invoke besides You." But they will throw at them the statement, "Indeed, you are liars." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 87
وَأَلْقَوْا۟ And they (will) offer إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah يَوْمَئِذٍ (on) that Day ٱلسَّلَمَ the submission, وَضَلَّ and (is) lost عَنْهُم from them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَفْتَرُونَ invent.
English - And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 88
ٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved وَصَدُّوا۟ and hindered عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, زِدْنَٰهُمْ We will increase them عَذَابًا (in) punishment فَوْقَ over ٱلْعَذَابِ punishment بِمَا because كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يُفْسِدُونَ spread corruption.
English - Those who disbelieved and averted [others] from the way of Allah – We will increase them in punishment over [their] punishment for what corruption they were causing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 89
وَيَوْمَ And the Day نَبْعَثُ We will resurrect فِى among كُلِّ every أُمَّةٍ nation شَهِيدًا a witness عَلَيْهِم over them مِّنْ from أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves. وَجِئْنَا And We (will) bring بِكَ you شَهِيدًا (as) a witness عَلَىٰ over هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these. وَنَزَّلْنَا And We sent down عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book تِبْيَٰنًا (as) a clarification لِّكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing وَهُدًى and a guidance وَرَحْمَةً and mercy وَبُشْرَىٰ and glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ for the Muslims.
English - And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 90
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَأْمُرُ commands بِٱلْعَدْلِ justice وَٱلْإِحْسَٰنِ and the good, وَإِيتَآئِ and giving ذِى (to) relatives, ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ (to) relatives, وَيَنْهَىٰ and forbids عَنِ [from] ٱلْفَحْشَآءِ the immorality وَٱلْمُنكَرِ and the bad وَٱلْبَغْىِ and the oppression. يَعِظُكُمْ He admonishes you لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَذَكَّرُونَ take heed.
English - Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 91
وَأَوْفُوا۟ And fulfil بِعَهْدِ the covenant ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah إِذَا when عَٰهَدتُّمْ you have taken a covenant, وَلَا and (do) not تَنقُضُوا۟ break ٱلْأَيْمَٰنَ oaths بَعْدَ after تَوْكِيدِهَا their confirmation وَقَدْ while verily جَعَلْتُمُ you have made ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَيْكُمْ over you كَفِيلًا a surety. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَعْلَمُ knows مَا what تَفْعَلُونَ you do.
English - And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have taken it, [O believers], and do not break oaths after their confirmation while you have made Allah, over you, a witness. Indeed, Allah knows what you do. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 92
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّتِى like her who نَقَضَتْ untwists غَزْلَهَا her spun yarn مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after قُوَّةٍ strength أَنكَٰثًا (into) untwisted strands; تَتَّخِذُونَ you take أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ your oaths دَخَلًۢا (as) a deception بَيْنَكُمْ between you, أَن because تَكُونَ is أُمَّةٌ a community هِىَ [it] أَرْبَىٰ more numerous مِنْ than أُمَّةٍ (another) community. إِنَّمَا Only, يَبْلُوكُمُ Allah tests you ٱللَّهُ Allah tests you بِهِۦ by it. وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ And He will make clear لَكُمْ to you يَوْمَ (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, مَا what كُنتُمْ you used (to) فِيهِ in it تَخْتَلِفُونَ differ.
English - And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 93
وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ Allah (had) willed ٱللَّهُ Allah (had) willed لَجَعَلَكُمْ surely He (could) have made you أُمَّةً a nation وَٰحِدَةً one, وَلَٰكِن but يُضِلُّ He lets go astray مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَهْدِى and guides مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills. وَلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ And surely you will be questioned عَمَّا about what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - And if Allah had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 94
وَلَا And (do) not تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ take أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ your oaths دَخَلًۢا (as) a deception بَيْنَكُمْ between you, فَتَزِلَّ lest, should slip قَدَمٌۢ a foot بَعْدَ after ثُبُوتِهَا it is firmly planted, وَتَذُوقُوا۟ and you would taste ٱلسُّوٓءَ the evil بِمَا for what صَدَدتُّمْ you hindered عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَلَكُمْ and for you عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ great.
English - And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 95
وَلَا And (do) not تَشْتَرُوا۟ exchange بِعَهْدِ the covenant ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ثَمَنًا (for) a price قَلِيلًا little. إِنَّمَا Indeed, what عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah, هُوَ it خَيْرٌ (is) better لَّكُمْ for you إِن if كُنتُمْ you were (to) تَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And do not exchange the covenant of Allah for a small price. Indeed, what is with Allah is best for you, if only you could know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 96
مَا Whatever عِندَكُمْ (is) with you يَنفَدُ will be exhausted, وَمَا and whatever عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah بَاقٍ (will) be remaining. وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ And surely We will pay ٱلَّذِينَ those who صَبَرُوٓا۟ (are) patient أَجْرَهُم their reward بِأَحْسَنِ to (the) best مَا (of) what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 97
مَنْ Whoever عَمِلَ does صَٰلِحًا righteous deeds مِّن whether ذَكَرٍ male أَوْ or أُنثَىٰ female وَهُوَ while he مُؤْمِنٌ (is) a believer, فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ then surely We will give him life, حَيَوٰةً a life طَيِّبَةً good, وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ and We will pay them أَجْرَهُم their reward بِأَحْسَنِ to (the) best مَا of what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 98
فَإِذَا So when قَرَأْتَ you recite ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran, فَٱسْتَعِذْ seek refuge بِٱللَّهِ in Allah مِنَ from ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ the Shaitaan, ٱلرَّجِيمِ the accursed.
English - So when you recite the Qur’an, [first] seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy]. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 99
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed he, لَيْسَ not لَهُۥ for him سُلْطَٰنٌ (is) any authority عَلَى on ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَلَىٰ and upon رَبِّهِمْ their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ they put their trust.
English - Indeed, there is for him no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 100
إِنَّمَا Only سُلْطَٰنُهُۥ his authority عَلَى (is) over ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُۥ take him as an ally وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who هُم [they] بِهِۦ with Him مُشْرِكُونَ associate partners.
English - His authority is only over those who take him as an ally and those who through him associate others with Allah. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 101
وَإِذَا And when بَدَّلْنَآ We substitute ءَايَةً a Verse مَّكَانَ (in) place ءَايَةٍ (of) a Verse, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah - أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing بِمَا of what يُنَزِّلُ He sends down قَالُوٓا۟ they say, إِنَّمَآ "Only أَنتَ you مُفْتَرٍۭ (are) an inventor." بَلْ Nay, أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse – and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down – they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 102
قُلْ Say, نَزَّلَهُۥ "Has brought it down رُوحُ the Holy Spirit ٱلْقُدُسِ the Holy Spirit مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, لِيُثَبِّتَ to make firm ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَهُدًى and (as) a guidance وَبُشْرَىٰ and glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ to the Muslims."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 103
وَلَقَدْ And certainly نَعْلَمُ We know أَنَّهُمْ that they يَقُولُونَ say, إِنَّمَا "Only يُعَلِّمُهُۥ teaches him بَشَرٌ a human being." لِّسَانُ (The) tongue ٱلَّذِى (of) the one يُلْحِدُونَ they refer إِلَيْهِ to him أَعْجَمِىٌّ (is) foreign وَهَٰذَا while this لِسَانٌ (is) a language عَرَبِىٌّ Arabic مُّبِينٌ clear.
English - And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur’an is [in] a clear Arabic language. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 104
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِـَٔايَٰتِ in the Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, لَا not يَهْدِيهِمُ Allah will guide them ٱللَّهُ Allah will guide them وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah – Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 105
إِنَّمَا Only يَفْتَرِى they invent ٱلْكَذِبَ the falsehood ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِـَٔايَٰتِ in the Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ and those - هُمُ they ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ (are) the liars.
English - They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 106
مَن Whoever كَفَرَ disbelieves بِٱللَّهِ in Allah مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after إِيمَٰنِهِۦٓ his belief, إِلَّا except مَنْ (one) who أُكْرِهَ is forced وَقَلْبُهُۥ while his heart مُطْمَئِنٌّۢ (is) content بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ with the faith. وَلَٰكِن But مَّن (one) who شَرَحَ opens بِٱلْكُفْرِ to disbelief صَدْرًا (his) breast, فَعَلَيْهِمْ then upon them غَضَبٌ (is) a wrath مِّنَ of ٱللَّهِ Allah وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ great.
English - Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief… except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment; .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 107
ذَٰلِكَ That (is) بِأَنَّهُمُ because ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ they preferred ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world عَلَى over ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter وَأَنَّ and that ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide ٱلْقَوْمَ the people ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
English - That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 108
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones - طَبَعَ Allah has set a seal ٱللَّهُ Allah has set a seal عَلَىٰ over قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts وَسَمْعِهِمْ and their hearing وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ and their sight. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those - هُمُ they are ٱلْغَٰفِلُونَ the heedless.
English - Those are the ones over whose hearts and hearing and vision Allah has sealed, and it is those who are the heedless. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 109
لَا No جَرَمَ doubt أَنَّهُمْ that they فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter هُمُ [they] ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ (are) the losers.
English - Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 110
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّ indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, لِلَّذِينَ to those who هَاجَرُوا۟ emigrated مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after مَا what فُتِنُوا۟ they had been put to trials ثُمَّ then جَٰهَدُوا۟ strove hard وَصَبَرُوٓا۟ and were patient. إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, مِنۢ after it, بَعْدِهَا after it, لَغَفُورٌ surely is Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to renounce their religion] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allah] and were patient – indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 111
يَوْمَ (On) the Day تَأْتِى (when) will come كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul تُجَٰدِلُ pleading عَن for نَّفْسِهَا itself, وَتُوَفَّىٰ and will be paid in full كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّا what عَمِلَتْ it did وَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged.
English - On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 112
وَضَرَبَ And Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ And Allah sets forth مَثَلًا a similitude قَرْيَةً (of) a town كَانَتْ (that) was ءَامِنَةً secure مُّطْمَئِنَّةً and content, يَأْتِيهَا coming to it رِزْقُهَا its provision رَغَدًا (in) abundance مِّن from كُلِّ every مَكَانٍ place, فَكَفَرَتْ but it denied بِأَنْعُمِ (the) Favors of Allah, ٱللَّهِ (the) Favors of Allah, فَأَذَٰقَهَا so Allah made it taste ٱللَّهُ so Allah made it taste لِبَاسَ (the) garb ٱلْجُوعِ (of) the hunger وَٱلْخَوْفِ and the fear بِمَا for what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَصْنَعُونَ do.
English - And Allah presents an example: a city which was safe and secure, its provision coming to it in abundance from every location, but it denied the favors of Allah. So Allah made it taste the envelopment of hunger and fear for what they had been doing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 113
وَلَقَدْ And certainly جَآءَهُمْ came to them رَسُولٌ a Messenger مِّنْهُمْ from among them فَكَذَّبُوهُ but they denied him; فَأَخَذَهُمُ so seized them ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment وَهُمْ while they ظَٰلِمُونَ (were) wrongdoers.
English - And there had certainly come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him; so punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 114
فَكُلُوا۟ So eat مِمَّا of what رَزَقَكُمُ Allah has provided you - ٱللَّهُ Allah has provided you - حَلَٰلًا lawful طَيِّبًا and good. وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ And be grateful نِعْمَتَ (for the) Favor ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, إِن if كُنتُمْ [you] إِيَّاهُ Him Alone تَعْبُدُونَ you worship.
English - Then eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allah, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 115
إِنَّمَا Only حَرَّمَ He has forbidden عَلَيْكُمُ to you ٱلْمَيْتَةَ the dead animal وَٱلدَّمَ and the blood وَلَحْمَ and the flesh ٱلْخِنزِيرِ (of) the swine, وَمَآ and what أُهِلَّ has been dedicated لِغَيْرِ to other (than) ٱللَّهِ Allah بِهِۦ [with it]. فَمَنِ But (if) one ٱضْطُرَّ (is) forced - غَيْرَ without (being) بَاغٍ disobedient, وَلَا and not عَادٍ a transgressor - فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit] – then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .

Ayah 116
وَلَا And (do) not تَقُولُوا۟ say لِمَا for that which تَصِفُ assert أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ your tongues, ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie, هَٰذَا "This حَلَٰلٌ (is) lawful وَهَٰذَا and this حَرَامٌ (is) forbidden," لِّتَفْتَرُوا۟ so that you invent عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَفْتَرُونَ invent عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie, لَا they will not succeed. يُفْلِحُونَ they will not succeed.
English - And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 117
مَتَٰعٌ An enjoyment قَلِيلٌ little وَلَهُمْ and for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
English - [It is but] a brief enjoyment, and they will have a painful punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 118
وَعَلَى And to ٱلَّذِينَ those who هَادُوا۟ are Jews حَرَّمْنَا We have forbidden مَا what قَصَصْنَا We related عَلَيْكَ to you مِن before. قَبْلُ before. وَمَا And not ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ We wronged them وَلَٰكِن but كَانُوٓا۟ they used (to) أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves يَظْلِمُونَ wrong.
English - And to those who are Jews We have prohibited that which We related to you before. And We did not wrong them [thereby], but they were wronging themselves. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 119
ثُمَّ Then إِنَّ indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, لِلَّذِينَ to those who عَمِلُوا۟ did ٱلسُّوٓءَ evil بِجَهَٰلَةٍ in ignorance, ثُمَّ then تَابُوا۟ repented مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after ذَٰلِكَ that, وَأَصْلَحُوٓا۟ and corrected themselves - إِنَّ indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, مِنۢ after that بَعْدِهَا after that لَغَفُورٌ (is) surely Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
English - Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves – indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 120
إِنَّ Indeed, إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim كَانَ was أُمَّةً a nation قَانِتًا obedient لِّلَّهِ to Allah حَنِيفًا upright, وَلَمْ and not يَكُ he was مِنَ of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists.
English - Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 121
شَاكِرًا Thankful لِّأَنْعُمِهِ for His favors. ٱجْتَبَىٰهُ He chose him وَهَدَىٰهُ and guided him إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ the way مُّسْتَقِيمٍ straight.
English - [He was] grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 122
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ And We gave him فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world حَسَنَةً good, وَإِنَّهُۥ and indeed, he فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter لَمِنَ (he) will surely (be) among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
English - And We gave him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 123
ثُمَّ Then أَوْحَيْنَآ We revealed إِلَيْكَ to you, أَنِ that, ٱتَّبِعْ "You follow مِلَّةَ (the) religion إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim حَنِيفًا upright; وَمَا and not كَانَ he was مِنَ of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists."
English - Then We revealed to you, [O Muhammad], to follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of those who associate with Allah. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 124
إِنَّمَا Only جُعِلَ was appointed ٱلسَّبْتُ the Sabbath عَلَى for ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ differed فِيهِ in it. وَإِنَّ And indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord لَيَحْكُمُ will surely judge بَيْنَهُمْ between them يَوْمَ (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection فِيمَا in what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) فِيهِ [in it] يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ.
English - The Sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 125
ٱدْعُ Call إِلَىٰ to سَبِيلِ (the) way رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ with the wisdom وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ and the instruction ٱلْحَسَنَةِ the good, وَجَٰدِلْهُم and discuss with them بِٱلَّتِى in that هِىَ which أَحْسَنُ (is) best. إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, هُوَ He أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing بِمَن of who ضَلَّ has strayed عَن from سَبِيلِهِۦ His way, وَهُوَ And He أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ of the guided ones.
English - Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 126
وَإِنْ And if عَاقَبْتُمْ you retaliate, فَعَاقِبُوا۟ then retaliate بِمِثْلِ with the like مَا of what عُوقِبْتُم you were afflicted بِهِۦ with [it]. وَلَئِن But if صَبَرْتُمْ you are patient, لَهُوَ surely (it) is خَيْرٌ better لِّلصَّٰبِرِينَ for those who are patient.
English - And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient – it is better for those who are patient. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 127
وَٱصْبِرْ And be patient وَمَا and not صَبْرُكَ (is) your patience إِلَّا but بِٱللَّهِ from Allah. وَلَا And (do) not تَحْزَنْ grieve عَلَيْهِمْ over them وَلَا and (do) not تَكُ be فِى in ضَيْقٍ distress مِّمَّا for what يَمْكُرُونَ they plot.
English - And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 128
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوا۟ fear (Him) وَّٱلَّذِينَ and those who هُم [they] مُّحْسِنُونَ (are) good-doers.
English - Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good. .
