Ayah
1
الٓمٓر
Alif Laam Mim Ra.
تِلْكَ
These
ءَايَٰتُ
(are) the Verses
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book.
وَٱلَّذِىٓ
And that which
أُنزِلَ
has been revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Lord
ٱلْحَقُّ
(is) the truth,
وَلَٰكِنَّ
but
أَكْثَرَ
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
(of) the mankind
لَا
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
believe.
Ayah
2
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
رَفَعَ
raised
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
بِغَيْرِ
without
عَمَدٍ
pillars
تَرَوْنَهَا
that you see,
ثُمَّ
then
ٱسْتَوَىٰ
He established
عَلَى
on
ٱلْعَرْشِ
the Throne
وَسَخَّرَ
and subjected
ٱلشَّمْسَ
the sun
وَٱلْقَمَرَ
and the moon
كُلٌّ
each
يَجْرِى
running
لِأَجَلٍ
for a term
مُّسَمًّى
appointed,
يُدَبِّرُ
He arranges
ٱلْأَمْرَ
the matter;
يُفَصِّلُ
He details
ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
the Signs
لَعَلَّكُم
so that you may
بِلِقَآءِ
in the meeting
رَبِّكُمْ
(with) your Lord
تُوقِنُونَ
believe with certainty.
Ayah
3
وَهُوَ
And He
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
مَدَّ
spread
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the earth,
وَجَعَلَ
and placed
فِيهَا
in it
رَوَٰسِىَ
firm mountains
وَأَنْهَٰرًا
and rivers,
وَمِن
and from
كُلِّ
all
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
(of) the fruits
جَعَلَ
He made
فِيهَا
in it
زَوْجَيْنِ
pairs
ٱثْنَيْنِ
two.
يُغْشِى
He covers
ٱلَّيْلَ
the night
ٱلنَّهَارَ
(with) the day.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
that
لَءَايَٰتٍ
surely (are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍ
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
who ponder.
Ayah
4
وَفِى
And in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
قِطَعٌ
are tracks
مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٌ
neighboring,
وَجَنَّٰتٌ
and gardens
مِّنْ
of
أَعْنَٰبٍ
grapevines
وَزَرْعٌ
and crops
وَنَخِيلٌ
and date-palms
صِنْوَانٌ
trees (growing) from a single root
وَغَيْرُ
and not
صِنْوَانٍ
trees (growing) from a single root.
يُسْقَىٰ
watered
بِمَآءٍ
with water,
وَٰحِدٍ
one;
وَنُفَضِّلُ
but We cause to exceed
بَعْضَهَا
some of them
عَلَىٰ
over
بَعْضٍ
others
فِى
in
ٱلْأُكُلِ
the fruit.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
that
لَءَايَٰتٍ
surely (are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍ
for a people
يَعْقِلُونَ
who use reason.
Ayah
5
وَإِن
And if
تَعْجَبْ
you (are) astonished,
فَعَجَبٌ
then astonishing
قَوْلُهُمْ
(is) their saying,
أَءِذَا
"When
كُنَّا
we are
تُرَٰبًا
dust,
أَءِنَّا
will we
لَفِى
(be) indeed, in
خَلْقٍ
a creation
جَدِيدٍ
new?"
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieved
بِرَبِّهِمْ
in their Lord,
وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
and those
ٱلْأَغْلَٰلُ
the iron chains
فِىٓ
(will be) in
أَعْنَاقِهِمْ
their necks,
وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those
أَصْحَٰبُ
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
(of) the Fire,
هُمْ
they
فِيهَا
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
(will) abide forever.
Ayah
6
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ
And they ask you to hasten
بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ
the evil
قَبْلَ
before
ٱلْحَسَنَةِ
the good
وَقَدْ
and verily
خَلَتْ
has occurred
مِن
from
قَبْلِهِمُ
before them
ٱلْمَثُلَٰتُ
[the] similar punishments.
وَإِنَّ
And indeed,
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
لَذُو
(is) full
مَغْفِرَةٍ
(of) forgiveness
لِّلنَّاسِ
for mankind
عَلَىٰ
for
ظُلْمِهِمْ
their wrongdoing,
وَإِنَّ
and indeed,
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
لَشَدِيدُ
(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
(in) the penalty.
Ayah
7
وَيَقُولُ
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieved,
لَوْلَآ
"Why not
أُنزِلَ
has been sent down
عَلَيْهِ
to him
ءَايَةٌ
a sign
مِّن
from
رَّبِّهِۦٓ
his Lord?"
إِنَّمَآ
Only
أَنتَ
you
مُنذِرٌ
(are) a warner,
وَلِكُلِّ
and for every
قَوْمٍ
people
هَادٍ
(is) a guide.
Ayah
8
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَعْلَمُ
knows
مَا
what
تَحْمِلُ
carries
كُلُّ
every
أُنثَىٰ
female,
وَمَا
and what
تَغِيضُ
fall short
ٱلْأَرْحَامُ
the womb,
وَمَا
and what
تَزْدَادُ
they exceed.
وَكُلُّ
And every
شَىْءٍ
thing
عِندَهُۥ
with Him
بِمِقْدَارٍ
(is) in due proportion.
Ayah
9
عَٰلِمُ
Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
and the witnessed,
ٱلْكَبِيرُ
the Most Great,
ٱلْمُتَعَالِ
the Most High.
Ayah
10
سَوَآءٌ
(It is) same (to Him)
مِّنكُم
[of you]
مَّنْ
(one) who
أَسَرَّ
conceals
ٱلْقَوْلَ
the speech
وَمَن
or (one) who
جَهَرَ
publicizes
بِهِۦ
it
وَمَنْ
and (one) who
هُوَ
[he]
مُسْتَخْفٍۭ
(is) hidden
بِٱلَّيْلِ
by night
وَسَارِبٌۢ
or goes freely
بِٱلنَّهَارِ
by day.
Ayah
11
لَهُۥ
For him
مُعَقِّبَٰتٌ
(are) successive (Angels)
مِّنۢ
from
بَيْنِ
(before)
يَدَيْهِ
(him)
وَمِنْ
and from
خَلْفِهِۦ
and behind him,
يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ
who guard him
مِنْ
by
أَمْرِ
(the) command
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
(does) not
يُغَيِّرُ
change
مَا
(the condition)
بِقَوْمٍ
of a people,
حَتَّىٰ
until
يُغَيِّرُوا۟
they change
مَا
what
بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
(is) in themselves.
وَإِذَآ
And when
أَرَادَ
wills
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِقَوْمٍ
for a people
سُوٓءًا
misfortune,
فَلَا
then (there is) no
مَرَدَّ
turning away
لَهُۥ
of it,
وَمَا
and not
لَهُم
for them
مِّن
from
دُونِهِۦ
besides Him
مِن
any
وَالٍ
protector.
Ayah
12
هُوَ
He
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
يُرِيكُمُ
shows you
ٱلْبَرْقَ
the lightning,
خَوْفًا
a fear
وَطَمَعًا
and a hope
وَيُنشِئُ
and brings up
ٱلسَّحَابَ
the clouds,
ٱلثِّقَالَ
the heavy.
Ayah
13
وَيُسَبِّحُ
And glorifies
ٱلرَّعْدُ
the thunder
بِحَمْدِهِۦ
with his praise -
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
and the Angels
مِنْ
for
خِيفَتِهِۦ
fear of Him.
وَيُرْسِلُ
And He sends
ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ
the thunderbolts
فَيُصِيبُ
and strikes
بِهَا
with it
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills,
وَهُمْ
yet they
يُجَٰدِلُونَ
dispute
فِى
about
ٱللَّهِ
Allah.
وَهُوَ
And He
شَدِيدُ
(is) Mighty
ٱلْمِحَالِ
(in) Strength.
Ayah
14
لَهُۥ
To Him
دَعْوَةُ
(is) supplication
ٱلْحَقِّ
(of) the truth.
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those whom
يَدْعُونَ
they invoke
مِن
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
besides Him
لَا
not
يَسْتَجِيبُونَ
they respond
لَهُم
to them
بِشَىْءٍ
with a thing
إِلَّا
except
كَبَٰسِطِ
like one who stretches
كَفَّيْهِ
his hands
إِلَى
towards
ٱلْمَآءِ
water
لِيَبْلُغَ
to reach
فَاهُ
his mouth,
وَمَا
but not
هُوَ
it
بِبَٰلِغِهِۦ
reaches it.
وَمَا
And not
دُعَآءُ
(is) the supplication
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
(of) the disbelievers
إِلَّا
but
فِى
in
ضَلَٰلٍ
error.
Ayah
15
وَلِلَّهِ
And to Allah
يَسْجُدُ
prostrates
مَن
whoever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth,
طَوْعًا
willingly
وَكَرْهًا
or unwillingly,
وَظِلَٰلُهُم
and (so do) their shadows
بِٱلْغُدُوِّ
in the mornings
وَٱلْءَاصَالِ
and in the afternoons.
Ayah
16
قُلْ
Say,
مَن
"Who
رَّبُّ
(is) the Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth?"
قُلِ
Say,
ٱللَّهُ
"Allah."
قُلْ
Say,
أَفَٱتَّخَذْتُم
"Have you then taken
مِّن
from
دُونِهِۦٓ
besides Him,
أَوْلِيَآءَ
protectors,
لَا
not
يَمْلِكُونَ
they have power
لِأَنفُسِهِمْ
for themselves
نَفْعًا
(to) benefit
وَلَا
and not
ضَرًّا
(to) harm?"
قُلْ
Say,
هَلْ
"Is
يَسْتَوِى
equal
ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
the blind
وَٱلْبَصِيرُ
and the seeing?
أَمْ
Or
هَلْ
is
تَسْتَوِى
equal
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ
the darkness[es]
وَٱلنُّورُ
and the light?
أَمْ
Or
جَعَلُوا۟
they attribute
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
شُرَكَآءَ
partners
خَلَقُوا۟
who created
كَخَلْقِهِۦ
like His creation,
فَتَشَٰبَهَ
so that seemed alike
ٱلْخَلْقُ
the creation
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them?"
قُلِ
Say,
ٱللَّهُ
"Allah
خَٰلِقُ
(is) the Creator
كُلِّ
of all
شَىْءٍ
things,
وَهُوَ
and He
ٱلْوَٰحِدُ
(is) the One
ٱلْقَهَّٰرُ
the Irresistible."
Ayah
17
أَنزَلَ
He sends down
مِنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
مَآءً
water
فَسَالَتْ
and flows
أَوْدِيَةٌۢ
the valleys
بِقَدَرِهَا
according to their measure,
فَٱحْتَمَلَ
and carries
ٱلسَّيْلُ
the torrent
زَبَدًا
a foam
رَّابِيًا
rising.
وَمِمَّا
And from what
يُوقِدُونَ
they heat
عَلَيْهِ
[on] it
فِى
in
ٱلنَّارِ
the fire
ٱبْتِغَآءَ
in order to make
حِلْيَةٍ
ornaments
أَوْ
or
مَتَٰعٍ
utensils,
زَبَدٌ
a foam
مِّثْلُهُۥ
like it.
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
يَضْرِبُ
sets forth
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلْحَقَّ
the truth
وَٱلْبَٰطِلَ
and the falsehood.
فَأَمَّا
Then as for
ٱلزَّبَدُ
the foam
فَيَذْهَبُ
it passes away
جُفَآءً
(as) scum,
وَأَمَّا
and as for
مَا
what
يَنفَعُ
benefits
ٱلنَّاسَ
the mankind,
فَيَمْكُثُ
remains
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth.
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
يَضْرِبُ
Allah sets forth
ٱللَّهُ
Allah sets forth
ٱلْأَمْثَالَ
the examples.
Ayah
18
لِلَّذِينَ
For those who
ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟
responded
لِرَبِّهِمُ
to their Lord
ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
(is) the bliss.
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And for those who
لَمْ
(did) not
يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟
respond
لَهُۥ
to Him,
لَوْ
if
أَنَّ
that
لَهُم
they had
مَّا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
جَمِيعًا
all
وَمِثْلَهُۥ
and like of it
مَعَهُۥ
with it,
لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟
surely they would offer ransom
بِهِۦٓ
with it.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
لَهُمْ
for them
سُوٓءُ
(is) a terrible
ٱلْحِسَابِ
reckoning,
وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ
and their abode
جَهَنَّمُ
(is) Hell,
وَبِئْسَ
and wretched
ٱلْمِهَادُ
(is) the resting place.
Ayah
19
أَفَمَن
Then is (he) who
يَعْلَمُ
knows
أَنَّمَآ
that which
أُنزِلَ
has been revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Lord
ٱلْحَقُّ
(is) the truth
كَمَنْ
like (one) who
هُوَ
[he]
أَعْمَىٰٓ
(is) blind?
إِنَّمَا
Only
يَتَذَكَّرُ
pay heed
أُو۟لُوا۟
men
ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
(of) understanding.
Ayah
20
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يُوفُونَ
fulfill
بِعَهْدِ
the covenant
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَلَا
and not
يَنقُضُونَ
they break
ٱلْمِيثَٰقَ
the contract,
Ayah
21
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
يَصِلُونَ
join
مَآ
what
أَمَرَ
(has been) commanded
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
بِهِۦٓ
[for it]
أَن
to
يُوصَلَ
be joined,
وَيَخْشَوْنَ
and fear
رَبَّهُمْ
their Lord
وَيَخَافُونَ
and are afraid
سُوٓءَ
(of) the evil
ٱلْحِسَابِ
the account,
Ayah
22
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
صَبَرُوا۟
(are) patient,
ٱبْتِغَآءَ
seeking
وَجْهِ
(the) Face
رَبِّهِمْ
(of) their Lord
وَأَقَامُوا۟
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the prayer
وَأَنفَقُوا۟
and spend
مِمَّا
from what
رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ
We have provided them,
سِرًّا
secretly
وَعَلَانِيَةً
and publicly
وَيَدْرَءُونَ
and they repel
بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ
with the good
ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ
the evil -
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those
لَهُمْ
for them
عُقْبَى
(is) the final attainment
ٱلدَّارِ
(of) the Home -
Ayah
23
جَنَّٰتُ
Gardens
عَدْنٍ
of Eden,
يَدْخُلُونَهَا
they will enter them
وَمَن
and whoever
صَلَحَ
(were) righteous
مِنْ
among
ءَابَآئِهِمْ
their fathers
وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ
and their spouses,
وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْ
and their offsprings.
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
And the Angels
يَدْخُلُونَ
will enter
عَلَيْهِم
upon them
مِّن
from
كُلِّ
every
بَابٍ
gate,
Ayah
24
سَلَٰمٌ
(Saying), "Peace
عَلَيْكُم
(be) upon you
بِمَا
for what
صَبَرْتُمْ
you patiently endured.
فَنِعْمَ
And excellent
عُقْبَى
(is) the final attainment
ٱلدَّارِ
(of) the Home."
Ayah
25
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
يَنقُضُونَ
break
عَهْدَ
the covenant
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
مِنۢ
from
بَعْدِ
after
مِيثَٰقِهِۦ
contracting it,
وَيَقْطَعُونَ
and sever
مَآ
what
أَمَرَ
(has been) commanded
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
بِهِۦٓ
for it
أَن
to
يُوصَلَ
be joined
وَيُفْسِدُونَ
and spread corruption
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those -
لَهُمُ
for them
ٱللَّعْنَةُ
(is) the curse,
وَلَهُمْ
and for them
سُوٓءُ
(is) an evil
ٱلدَّارِ
home.
Ayah
26
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَبْسُطُ
extends
ٱلرِّزْقَ
the provision
لِمَن
for whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
وَيَقْدِرُ
and restricts.
وَفَرِحُوا۟
And they rejoice
بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
in the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
(of) the world
وَمَا
and nothing
ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
(is) the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
of the world
فِى
in (comparison to)
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
the Hereafter,
إِلَّا
except
مَتَٰعٌ
an enjoyment.
Ayah
27
وَيَقُولُ
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieved,
لَوْلَآ
"Why has not
أُنزِلَ
been sent down
عَلَيْهِ
upon him
ءَايَةٌ
a Sign
مِّن
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
his Lord?"
قُلْ
Say,
إِنَّ
"Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُضِلُّ
lets go astray
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
وَيَهْدِىٓ
and guides
إِلَيْهِ
to Himself
مَنْ
whoever
أَنَابَ
turns back,
Ayah
28
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believed
وَتَطْمَئِنُّ
and find satisfaction
قُلُوبُهُم
their hearts
بِذِكْرِ
in the remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah.
أَلَا
No doubt,
بِذِكْرِ
in the remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
تَطْمَئِنُّ
find satisfaction
ٱلْقُلُوبُ
the hearts."
Ayah
29
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believed
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds,
طُوبَىٰ
blessedness
لَهُمْ
(is) for them
وَحُسْنُ
and a beautiful
مَـَٔابٍ
place of return.
Ayah
30
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ
We have sent you
فِىٓ
to
أُمَّةٍ
a nation
قَدْ
verily
خَلَتْ
have passed away
مِن
from
قَبْلِهَآ
before it
أُمَمٌ
nations,
لِّتَتْلُوَا۟
so that you might recite
عَلَيْهِمُ
to them
ٱلَّذِىٓ
what
أَوْحَيْنَآ
We revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you,
وَهُمْ
while they
يَكْفُرُونَ
disbelieve
بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
in the Most Gracious.
قُلْ
Say,
هُوَ
"He
رَبِّى
(is) my Lord,
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him.
عَلَيْهِ
Upon Him
تَوَكَّلْتُ
I put my trust
وَإِلَيْهِ
and to Him
مَتَابِ
(is) my return."
Ayah
31
وَلَوْ
And if
أَنَّ
that was
قُرْءَانًا
any Quran,
سُيِّرَتْ
could be moved
بِهِ
by it
ٱلْجِبَالُ
the mountains,
أَوْ
or
قُطِّعَتْ
could be cloven asunder
بِهِ
by it
ٱلْأَرْضُ
the earth,
أَوْ
or
كُلِّمَ
could be made to speak
بِهِ
by it
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
the dead.
بَل
Nay,
لِّلَّهِ
with Allah
ٱلْأَمْرُ
(is) the command
جَمِيعًا
all.
أَفَلَمْ
Then do not
يَا۟يْـَٔسِ
know
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
believe
أَن
that
لَّوْ
if
يَشَآءُ
had willed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah,
لَهَدَى
surely, He would have guided
ٱلنَّاسَ
all?
جَمِيعًا
all of the mankind?
وَلَا
And not
يَزَالُ
will cease
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve
تُصِيبُهُم
to strike them
بِمَا
for what
صَنَعُوا۟
they did
قَارِعَةٌ
a disaster,
أَوْ
or
تَحُلُّ
it settles
قَرِيبًا
close
مِّن
from
دَارِهِمْ
their homes
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَأْتِىَ
comes
وَعْدُ
(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
(will) not
يُخْلِفُ
fail
ٱلْمِيعَادَ
(in) the Promise.
Ayah
32
وَلَقَدِ
And certainly,
ٱسْتُهْزِئَ
were mocked
بِرُسُلٍ
Messengers
مِّن
from
قَبْلِكَ
before you,
فَأَمْلَيْتُ
but I granted respite
لِلَّذِينَ
to those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieved;
ثُمَّ
then
أَخَذْتُهُمْ
I seized them,
فَكَيْفَ
and how
كَانَ
was
عِقَابِ
My penalty.
Ayah
33
أَفَمَنْ
Is then He Who
هُوَ
(He)
قَآئِمٌ
(is) a Maintainer
عَلَىٰ
of
كُلِّ
every
نَفْسٍۭ
soul
بِمَا
for what
كَسَبَتْ
it has earned?
وَجَعَلُوا۟
Yet they ascribe
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
شُرَكَآءَ
partners.
قُلْ
Say,
سَمُّوهُمْ
"Name them.
أَمْ
Or
تُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥ
(do) you inform Him
بِمَا
of what
لَا
not
يَعْلَمُ
He knows
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
أَم
or
بِظَٰهِرٍ
of the apparent
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْقَوْلِ
the words?"
بَلْ
Nay,
زُيِّنَ
(is) made fair-seeming
لِلَّذِينَ
to those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve
مَكْرُهُمْ
their plotting,
وَصُدُّوا۟
and they are hindered
عَنِ
from
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
the Path.
وَمَن
And whoever
يُضْلِلِ
(by) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
Allah lets go astray
فَمَا
then not
لَهُۥ
for him
مِنْ
any
هَادٍ
guide.
Ayah
34
لَّهُمْ
For them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
فِى
in
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
(of) the world
وَلَعَذَابُ
and surely the punishment
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
(of) the Hereafter
أَشَقُّ
(is) harder.
وَمَا
And not
لَهُم
for them
مِّنَ
against
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِن
any
وَاقٍ
defender.
Ayah
35
مَّثَلُ
The example
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
of Paradise
ٱلَّتِى
which
وُعِدَ
(is) promised
ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ
(to) the righteous,
تَجْرِى
flows
مِن
from
تَحْتِهَا
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
the rivers.
أُكُلُهَا
Its food
دَآئِمٌ
(is) everlasting,
وَظِلُّهَا
and its shade.
تِلْكَ
This
عُقْبَى
(is the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
of those who
ٱتَّقَوا۟
(are) righteous,
وَّعُقْبَى
and (the) end
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
(of) the disbelievers
ٱلنَّارُ
(is) the Fire.
Ayah
36
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those (to) whom
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ
We have given them
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book,
يَفْرَحُونَ
rejoice
بِمَآ
at what
أُنزِلَ
has been revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you,
وَمِنَ
but among
ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
the groups
مَن
(those) who
يُنكِرُ
deny
بَعْضَهُۥ
a part of it.
قُلْ
Say,
إِنَّمَآ
"Only
أُمِرْتُ
I have been commanded
أَنْ
that
أَعْبُدَ
I worship
ٱللَّهَ
Allah,
وَلَآ
and not
أُشْرِكَ
I associate partners
بِهِۦٓ
with Him.
إِلَيْهِ
To Him
أَدْعُوا۟
I call
وَإِلَيْهِ
and to Him
مَـَٔابِ
(is) my return."
Ayah
37
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
أَنزَلْنَٰهُ
We have revealed it
حُكْمًا
(to be) a judgment of authority
عَرَبِيًّا
(in) Arabic.
وَلَئِنِ
And if
ٱتَّبَعْتَ
you follow
أَهْوَآءَهُم
their desires
بَعْدَمَا
after what
جَآءَكَ
came to you
مِنَ
of
ٱلْعِلْمِ
the knowledge,
مَا
not
لَكَ
for you
مِنَ
against
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِن
any
وَلِىٍّ
protector
وَلَا
and not
وَاقٍ
defender.
Ayah
38
وَلَقَدْ
And certainly,
أَرْسَلْنَا
We sent
رُسُلًا
Messengers
مِّن
from
قَبْلِكَ
before you
وَجَعَلْنَا
and We made
لَهُمْ
for them
أَزْوَٰجًا
wives
وَذُرِّيَّةً
and offspring.
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
was
لِرَسُولٍ
for a Messenger
أَن
that
يَأْتِىَ
he comes
بِـَٔايَةٍ
with a sign
إِلَّا
except
بِإِذْنِ
by the leave
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah.
لِكُلِّ
For everything
أَجَلٍ
(is) a time
كِتَابٌ
prescribed.
Ayah
39
يَمْحُوا۟
(Is) eliminated
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
مَا
what
يَشَآءُ
He wills,
وَيُثْبِتُ
and confirms,
وَعِندَهُۥٓ
and with Him
أُمُّ
(is) the Mother (of) the Book.
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(is) the Mother (of) the Book.
Ayah
40
وَإِن
And whether
مَّا
(what)
نُرِيَنَّكَ
We show you
بَعْضَ
a part
ٱلَّذِى
(of) what
نَعِدُهُمْ
We have promised them
أَوْ
or
نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
We cause you to die,
فَإِنَّمَا
so only
عَلَيْكَ
on you
ٱلْبَلَٰغُ
(is) the conveyance,
وَعَلَيْنَا
and on Us
ٱلْحِسَابُ
(is) the reckoning.
Ayah
41
أَوَلَمْ
Did not
يَرَوْا۟
they see
أَنَّا
that We
نَأْتِى
come
ٱلْأَرْضَ
(to) the land,
نَنقُصُهَا
reducing it
مِنْ
from
أَطْرَافِهَا
its borders?
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
يَحْكُمُ
judges;
لَا
(there is) no
مُعَقِّبَ
adjuster
لِحُكْمِهِۦ
(of) His Judgment.
وَهُوَ
And He
سَرِيعُ
(is) Swift
ٱلْحِسَابِ
(in) the reckoning.
Ayah
42
وَقَدْ
And certainly
مَكَرَ
plotted
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
مِن
(were) from
قَبْلِهِمْ
before them,
فَلِلَّهِ
but for Allah
ٱلْمَكْرُ
(is) the plot
جَمِيعًا
all.
يَعْلَمُ
He knows
مَا
what
تَكْسِبُ
earns
كُلُّ
every
نَفْسٍ
soul,
وَسَيَعْلَمُ
and will know
ٱلْكُفَّٰرُ
the disbelievers
لِمَنْ
for whom
عُقْبَى
(is) the final
ٱلدَّارِ
the home.
Ayah
43
وَيَقُولُ
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve,
لَسْتَ
"You are not
مُرْسَلًا
a Messenger."
قُلْ
Say,
كَفَىٰ
"Sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
(is) Allah
شَهِيدًۢا
(as) a Witness
بَيْنِى
between me
وَبَيْنَكُمْ
and between you,
وَمَنْ
and whoever
عِندَهُۥ
[he] has
عِلْمُ
knowledge
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book."
