Ayah 1
أَلَمْ Have not تَرَ you seen كَيْفَ how فَعَلَ dealt رَبُّكَ your Lord بِأَصْحَٰبِ with (the) Companions ٱلْفِيلِ (of the) Elephant?
English - Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? .
Ayah 2
أَلَمْ Did not يَجْعَلْ He make كَيْدَهُمْ their plan فِى go تَضْلِيلٍ astray?
English - Did He not make their plan into misguidance? .
Ayah 3
وَأَرْسَلَ And He sent عَلَيْهِمْ against them طَيْرًا birds أَبَابِيلَ (in) flocks.
English - And He sent against them birds in flocks, .
Ayah 4
تَرْمِيهِم Striking them بِحِجَارَةٍ with stones مِّن of سِجِّيلٍ baked clay.
English - Striking them with stones of hard clay, .
Ayah 5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ Then He made them كَعَصْفٍ like straw مَّأْكُولٍۭ eaten up.
English - And He made them like eaten straw. .
