Ayah 1
وَيْلٌ Woe لِّكُلِّ to every هُمَزَةٍ slanderer لُّمَزَةٍ backbiter!
English - Woe to every scorner and mocker .
हिंदी - हर एक ऐब लगाने वाले, चुग़ली करने वाले के लिए बर्बादी है।.
Ayah 2
ٱلَّذِى The one who جَمَعَ collects مَالًا wealth وَعَدَّدَهُۥ and counts it.
English - Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. .
हिंदी - जिस ने माल को जमा किया और उसे गिन गिन कर रखा।.
Ayah 3
يَحْسَبُ Thinking أَنَّ that مَالَهُۥٓ his wealth أَخْلَدَهُۥ will make him immortal
English - He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. .
हिंदी - वह समझता है कि उस का माल उसे अमर कर देगा।.
Ayah 4
كَلَّا Nay! لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ Surely he will be thrown فِى in ٱلْحُطَمَةِ the Crusher.
English - No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. .
हिंदी - बिल्कुल नहीं, उसे ज़रूर हुतमा में फेंका जाएगा।.
Ayah 5
وَمَآ And what أَدْرَىٰكَ will make you know مَا what ٱلْحُطَمَةُ the Crusher (is)?
English - And what can make you know what is the Crusher? .
हिंदी - और तुम क्या जानो कि हुतमा क्या है?.
Ayah 6
نَارُ A Fire ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ kindled,
English - It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, .
हिंदी - अल्लाह की भड़काई हुई आग है।.
Ayah 7
ٱلَّتِى Which تَطَّلِعُ mounts up عَلَى to ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ the hearts.
English - Which mounts directed at the hearts. .
हिंदी - जो दिलों तक जा पहुंचेगी।.
Ayah 8
إِنَّهَا Indeed, it عَلَيْهِم (will be) upon them مُّؤْصَدَةٌ closed over,
English - Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them .
हिंदी - बेशक वह उन पर बंद कर दी जाएगी।.
Ayah 9
فِى In عَمَدٍ columns مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ extended.
English - In extended columns. .
हिंदी - ऊँचे ऊँचे खंभों में।.
