Ayah 1
الٓر Alif Lam Ra. تِلْكَ These ءَايَٰتُ (are the) verses ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book ٱلْحَكِيمِ the wise.
English - Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the wise Book. .
हिंदी - अलिफ़ लाम रा ये आयतें उस किताब की हैं जो अजसरतापा (सर से पैर तक) हिकमत से मलूउ (भरी) है।.
Ayah 2
أَكَانَ Is it لِلنَّاسِ for the mankind عَجَبًا a wonder أَنْ that أَوْحَيْنَآ We revealed إِلَىٰ to رَجُلٍ a man مِّنْهُمْ from (among) them أَنْ that, أَنذِرِ "Warn ٱلنَّاسَ the mankind وَبَشِّرِ and give glad tidings ٱلَّذِينَ (to) those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe أَنَّ that لَهُمْ for them قَدَمَ (will be) a respectable position صِدْقٍ (will be) a respectable position عِندَ near رَبِّهِمْ their Lord?" قَالَ Said ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers, إِنَّ "Indeed, هَٰذَا this لَسَٰحِرٌ (is) surely a magician مُّبِينٌ obvious."
English - Have the people been amazed that We revealed [revelation] to a man from among them, [saying], "Warn mankind and give good tidings to those who believe that they will have a [firm] precedence of honor with their Lord"? [But] the disbelievers say, "Indeed, this is an obvious magician." .
हिंदी - क्या लोगों को इस बात से बड़ा ताज्जुब हुआ कि हमने उन्हीं लोगों में से एक आदमी के पास वही भेजी कि (बे ईमान) लोगों को डराओ और ईमानदारो को इसकी खुश खबरी सुना दो कि उनके लिए उनके परवरदिगार की बारगाह में बुलन्द दर्जे है (मगर) कुफ्फार (उन आयतों को सुनकर) कहने लगे कि ये (शख्स तो यकीनन सरीही जादूगर) है।.
Ayah 3
إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكُمُ your Lord ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلَّذِى the One Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth فِى in سِتَّةِ six أَيَّامٍ periods, ثُمَّ then ٱسْتَوَىٰ He established عَلَى on ٱلْعَرْشِ the Throne, يُدَبِّرُ disposing ٱلْأَمْرَ the affairs. مَا Not مِن (is) any intercessor شَفِيعٍ (is) any intercessor إِلَّا except مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after إِذْنِهِۦ His permission. ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah, رَبُّكُمْ your Lord, فَٱعْبُدُوهُ so worship Him. أَفَلَا Then will not تَذَكَّرُونَ you remember?
English - Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne, arranging the matter [of His creation]. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember? .
हिंदी - इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि तुमरा परवरदिगार वही खुदा है जिसने सारे आसमान व जमीन को 6 दिन में पैदा किया फिर उसने अर्श को बुलन्द किया वही हर काम का इन्तजाम करता है (उसके सामने) कोई (किसी का) सिफारिशी नहीं (हो सकता) मगर उसकी इजाजत के बाद वही खुदा तो तुम्हारा परवरदिगार है तो उसी की इबादत करो तो क्या तुम अब भी गौर नही करते।.
Ayah 4
إِلَيْهِ To Him, مَرْجِعُكُمْ (will be) your return جَمِيعًا [all]. وَعْدَ Promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah حَقًّا (is) true. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He يَبْدَؤُا۟ originates ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation, ثُمَّ then يُعِيدُهُۥ He repeats it, لِيَجْزِىَ that He may reward ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَعَمِلُوا۟ and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ the good deeds, بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice. وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved, لَهُمْ for them شَرَابٌ (will be) a drink مِّنْ of حَمِيمٍ boiling fluids وَعَذَابٌ and a punishment أَلِيمٌۢ painful, بِمَا because كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve.
English - To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny. .
हिंदी - तुम सबको (आखिर) उसी की तरफ लौटना है खुदा का वायदा सच्चा है वही यकीनन मखलूक को पहली मरतबा पैदा करता है फिर (मरने के बाद) वही दुबारा जिन्दा करेगा ताकि जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे अच्छे काम किए उनको इन्साफ के साथ जजाए (खैर) अता फरमाएगा और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख्तियार किया उन के लिए उनके कुफ्र की सजा में पीने को खौलता हुआ पानी और दर्दनाक अजाब होगा।.
Ayah 5
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَ made ٱلشَّمْسَ the sun ضِيَآءً a shining light, وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon نُورًا a reflected light وَقَدَّرَهُۥ and determined for it مَنَازِلَ phases, لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ that you may know عَدَدَ (the) number ٱلسِّنِينَ (of) the years وَٱلْحِسَابَ and the count (of time). مَا Not خَلَقَ created ٱللَّهُ Allah ذَٰلِكَ that إِلَّا except بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth. يُفَصِّلُ He explains ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Signs لِقَوْمٍ for a people يَعْلَمُونَ (who) know.
English - It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases – that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know. .
हिंदी - वही वह (ख़ुदाए कादिर) है जिसने आफताब को चमकदार और महताब को रौशन बनाया और उसकी मंजिलें मुकर्रर की ताकि तुम लोग बरसों की गिनती और हिसाब मालूम करो ख़ुदा ने उसे हिकमत व मसलहत से बनाया है वह (अपनी) आयतों का वाकिफकार लोगों के लिए तफसीलदार बयान करता है।.
Ayah 6
إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ٱخْتِلَٰفِ (the) alternation ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day وَمَا and what خَلَقَ (has been) created ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens, وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth لَءَايَٰتٍ (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَتَّقُونَ who are God conscious.
English - Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allah. .
हिंदी - इसमें जरा भी शक नहीं कि रात दिन के उलट फेर में और जो कुछ खुदा ने आसमानों और जमीन में बनाया है (उसमें) परहेजगारों के वास्ते बहुतेरी निशानियाँ हैं।.
Ayah 7
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يَرْجُونَ expect لِقَآءَنَا the meeting with Us وَرَضُوا۟ and are pleased بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ with the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَٱطْمَأَنُّوا۟ and feel satisfied بِهَا with it وَٱلَّذِينَ and those - هُمْ they عَنْ (are) of ءَايَٰتِنَا Our Signs, غَٰفِلُونَ heedless.
English - Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs – .
हिंदी - इसमें भी शक नहीं कि जिन लोगों को (कयामत में) हमारी (बारगाह की) हुजूरी का ठिकाना नहीं और दुनिया की (चन्द रोज) जिन्दगी से निहाल हो गए और उसी पर चौन से बैठे हैं और जो लोग हमारी आयतों से गाफिल हैं।.
Ayah 8
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those - مَأْوَىٰهُمُ their abode ٱلنَّارُ (will be) the Fire, بِمَا for what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَكْسِبُونَ earn.
English - For those their refuge will be the Fire because of what they used to earn. .
हिंदी - यही वह लोग हैं जिनका ठिकाना उनकी करतूत की बदौलत जहन्नुम है।.
Ayah 9
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believed وَعَمِلُوا۟ and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ good deeds, يَهْدِيهِمْ (will) guide them رَبُّهُم their Lord, بِإِيمَٰنِهِمْ by their faith. تَجْرِى Will flow مِن from تَحْتِهِمُ underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, فِى in جَنَّٰتِ Gardens ٱلنَّعِيمِ (of) Delight.
English - Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure. .
हिंदी - बेशक जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे अच्छे काम किए उन्हें उनका परवरदिगार उनके ईमान के सबब से मंजिल मकसूद तक पहुँचा देगा कि आराम व आसाइश के बागों में (रहेगें) और उन के नीचे नहरें जारी होगी।.
Ayah 10
دَعْوَىٰهُمْ Their prayer فِيهَا therein سُبْحَٰنَكَ (will be), "Glory be to You, ٱللَّهُمَّ O Allah!" وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ And their greeting فِيهَا therein (will be), سَلَٰمٌ "Peace." وَءَاخِرُ And the last دَعْوَىٰهُمْ (of) their call أَنِ (will be) [that] ٱلْحَمْدُ "All the Praise be لِلَّهِ to Allah, رَبِّ Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds."
English - Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!” .
हिंदी - उन बागों में उन लोगों का बस ये कौल होगा ऐ खुदा तू पाक व पाकीजा है और उनमें उनकी बाहमी (आपसी) खैरसलाही (मुलाकात) सलाम से होगी और उनका आखिरी कौल ये होगा कि सब तारीफ खुदा ही को सजावार है जो सारे जहाँन का पालने वाला है।.
Ayah 11
وَلَوْ And if يُعَجِّلُ hastens ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah لِلنَّاسِ for the mankind ٱلشَّرَّ the evil, ٱسْتِعْجَالَهُم (as) He hastens for them بِٱلْخَيْرِ the good, لَقُضِىَ surely, would have been decreed إِلَيْهِمْ for them أَجَلُهُمْ their term. فَنَذَرُ But We leave ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يَرْجُونَ expect لِقَآءَنَا the meeting with Us, فِى in طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ their transgression, يَعْمَهُونَ wandering blindly.
English - And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly. .
हिंदी - और जिस तरह लोग अपनी भलाई के लिए जल्दी कर बैठे हैं उसी तरह अगर खुदा उनकी शरारतों की सजा में बुराई में जल्दी कर बैठता है तो उनकी मौत उनके पास कब की आ चुकी होती मगर हम तो उन लोगों को जिन्हें (मरने के बाद) हमारी हुजूरी का खटका नहीं छोड़ देते हैं कि वह अपनी सरकशी में आप सरगिरदा रहें।.
Ayah 12
وَإِذَا And when مَسَّ touches ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ the man ٱلضُّرُّ the affliction دَعَانَا he calls Us, لِجَنۢبِهِۦٓ (lying) on his side أَوْ or قَاعِدًا sitting أَوْ or قَآئِمًا standing. فَلَمَّا But when كَشَفْنَا We remove عَنْهُ from him ضُرَّهُۥ his affliction مَرَّ he passes on كَأَن as if he لَّمْ (had) not يَدْعُنَآ called Us إِلَىٰ for ضُرٍّ (the) affliction مَّسَّهُۥ (that) touched him. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus زُيِّنَ (it) is made fair seeming لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ to the extravagant مَا what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - And when affliction touches man, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove from him his affliction, he continues [in disobedience] as if he had never called upon Us to [remove] an affliction that touched him. Thus is made pleasing to the transgressors that which they have been doing. .
हिंदी - और इन्सान को जब कोई नुकसान छू भी गया तो अपने पहलू पर (लेटा हो) या बैठा हो या खड़ा (गरज हर हालत में) हम को पुकारता है फिर जब हम उससे उसकी तकलीफ को दूर कर देते है तो ऐसा खिसक जाता है जैसे उसने तकलीफ के (दफा करने के) लिए जो उसको पहुँचती थी हमको पुकारा ही न था जो लोग ज्यादती करते हैं उनकी कारस्तानियाँ यूँ ही उन्हें अच्छी कर दिखाई गई हैं।.
Ayah 13
وَلَقَدْ And verily أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed ٱلْقُرُونَ the generations مِن before you قَبْلِكُمْ before you لَمَّا when ظَلَمُوا۟ they wronged, وَجَآءَتْهُمْ and came to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs, وَمَا but not كَانُوا۟ they were لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ to believe. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَجْزِى We recompense ٱلْقَوْمَ the people ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ (who are) criminals.
English - And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people. .
हिंदी - और तुमसे पहली उम्मत वालों को जब उन्होंने शरारत की तो हम ने उन्हें जरुर हलाक कर डाला हालॉकि उनके (वक्त के) रसूल वाजेए व रौशन मोजिजात लेकर आ चुके थे और वह लोग ईमान (न लाना था) न लाए हम गुनेहगार लोगों की यूँ ही सजा किया करते हैं।.
Ayah 14
ثُمَّ Then جَعَلْنَٰكُمْ We made you خَلَٰٓئِفَ successors فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ after them لِنَنظُرَ so that We may see كَيْفَ how تَعْمَلُونَ you do.
English - Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do. .
हिंदी - फिर हमने उनके बाद तुमको जमीन में (उनका) जानशीन बनाया ताकि हम (भी) देखें कि तुम किस तरह काम करते हो।.
Ayah 15
وَإِذَا And when تُتْلَىٰ are recited عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَاتُنَا Our Verses بَيِّنَٰتٍ (as) clear proofs قَالَ said ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يَرْجُونَ hope لِقَآءَنَا (for the) meeting (with) Us, ٱئْتِ "Bring us بِقُرْءَانٍ a Quran غَيْرِ other (than) هَٰذَآ this أَوْ or بَدِّلْهُ change it." قُلْ Say, مَا "Not يَكُونُ (it) is لِىٓ for me أَنْ that أُبَدِّلَهُۥ I change it مِن of تِلْقَآئِ my own accord. نَفْسِىٓ my own accord. إِنْ Not أَتَّبِعُ I follow إِلَّا except مَا what يُوحَىٰٓ is revealed إِلَىَّ to me. إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I أَخَافُ [I] fear إِنْ if عَصَيْتُ I were to disobey رَبِّى my Lord, عَذَابَ (the) punishment يَوْمٍ (of) a Day, عَظِيمٍ Great."
English - And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Qur’an other than this or change it." Say, [O Muhammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day." .
हिंदी - और जब उन लोगों के सामने हमारी रौशन आयते पढ़ीं जाती हैं तो जिन लोगों को (मरने के बाद) हमारी हुजूरी का खटका नहीं है वह कहते है कि हमारे सामने इसके अलावा कोई दूसरा (कुरान लाओ या उसका रद्दो बदल कर डालो (ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि मुझे ये एख्तेयार नहीं कि मै उसे अपने जी से बदल डालूँ मै तो बस उसी का पाबन्द हूँ जो मेरी तरफ वही की गई है मै तो अगर अपने परवरदिगार की नाफरमानी करु तो बड़े (कठिन) दिन के अजाब से डरता हूँ।.
Ayah 16
قُل Say, لَّوْ "If شَآءَ (had) willed ٱللَّهُ Allah, مَا not تَلَوْتُهُۥ I (would) have recited it عَلَيْكُمْ to you, وَلَآ and not أَدْرَىٰكُم He (would) have made it known to you. بِهِۦ He (would) have made it known to you. فَقَدْ Verily, لَبِثْتُ I have stayed فِيكُمْ among you عُمُرًا a lifetime مِّن before it. قَبْلِهِۦٓ before it. أَفَلَا Then will not تَعْقِلُونَ you use reason?"
English - Say, "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?” .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) कह दो कि खुदा चाहता तो मै न तुम्हारे सामने इसको पढ़ता और न वह तुम्हें इससे आगाह करता क्योंकि मै तो (आखिर) तुमने इससे पहले मुद्दतों रह चुका हूँ (और कभी ‘वही‘ का नाम भी न लिया)।.
Ayah 17
فَمَنْ So who أَظْلَمُ (is) more wrong مِمَّنِ than he who ٱفْتَرَىٰ invents عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah كَذِبًا a lie أَوْ or كَذَّبَ denies بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓ His Signs? إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, لَا not يُفْلِحُ will succeed ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals.
English - So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed. .
हिंदी - तो क्या तुम (इतना भी) नहीं समझते तो जो शख्स खुदा पर झूठ बोहतान बॉधे या उसकी आयतो को झुठलाए उससे बढ़ कर और जालिम कौन होगा इसमें शक नहीं कि (ऐसे) गुनाहगार कामयाब नहीं हुआ करते।.
Ayah 18
وَيَعْبُدُونَ And they worship مِن from دُونِ other than ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا that (which) لَا (does) not يَضُرُّهُمْ harm them وَلَا and not يَنفَعُهُمْ benefit them, وَيَقُولُونَ and they say, هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ "These شُفَعَٰٓؤُنَا (are) our intercessors عِندَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah." قُلْ Say, أَتُنَبِّـُٔونَ "Do you inform ٱللَّهَ Allah بِمَا of what لَا not يَعْلَمُ he knows فِى in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth?" سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glorified is He وَتَعَٰلَىٰ and Exalted عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him).
English - And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. .
हिंदी - या लोग खुदा को छोड़ कर ऐसी चीज की परसतिश करते है जो न उनको नुकसान ही पहुँचा सकती है न नफा और कहते हैं कि खुदा के यहाँ यही लोग हमारे सिफारिशी होगे (ऐ रसूल) तुम (इनसे) कहो तो क्या तुम ख़ुदा को ऐसी चीज की खबर देते हो जिसको वह न तो आसमानों में (कहीं) पाता है और न जमीन में ये लोग जिस चीज को उसका शरीक बनाते है।.
Ayah 19
وَمَا And not كَانَ was ٱلنَّاسُ the mankind إِلَّآ but أُمَّةً a community, وَٰحِدَةً one, فَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ then they differed. وَلَوْلَا And had (it) not been كَلِمَةٌ a word سَبَقَتْ (that) preceded مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord, لَقُضِىَ surely, it (would) have been judged بَيْنَهُمْ between them فِيمَا concerning what فِيهِ [therein] يَخْتَلِفُونَ they differ.
English - And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them [immediately] concerning that over which they differ. .
हिंदी - उससे वह पाक साफ और बरतर है और सब लोग तो (पहले) एक ही उम्मत थे और (ऐ रसूल) अगर तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की तरफ से एक बात (कयामत का वायदा) पहले न हो चुकी होती जिसमें ये लोग एख्तिलाफ कर रहे हैं उसका फैसला उनके दरमियान (कब न कब) कर दिया गया होता।.
Ayah 20
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, لَوْلَآ "Why not أُنزِلَ is sent down عَلَيْهِ to him ءَايَةٌ a Sign مِّن from رَّبِّهِۦ his Lord?" فَقُلْ So say, إِنَّمَا "Only ٱلْغَيْبُ the unseen لِلَّهِ (is) for Allah, فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ so wait; إِنِّى indeed, I am مَعَكُم with you مِّنَ among ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ the ones who wait."
English - And they say, "Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?" So say, "The unseen is only for Allah [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." .
हिंदी - और कहते हैं कि उस पैगम्बर पर कोई मोजिजा (हमारी ख्वाहिश के मुवाफिक) क्यों नहीं नाजिल किया गया तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि गैब (दानी) तो सिर्फ खुदा के वास्ते खास है तो तुम भी इन्तजार करो और तुम्हारे साथ मै (भी) यकीनन इन्तजार करने वालों में हूँ।.
Ayah 21
وَإِذَآ And when أَذَقْنَا We let [the] mankind taste ٱلنَّاسَ We let [the] mankind taste رَحْمَةً mercy مِّنۢ after بَعْدِ after ضَرَّآءَ adversity مَسَّتْهُمْ has touched them, إِذَا behold! لَهُم They have مَّكْرٌ a plot فِىٓ against ءَايَاتِنَا Our Verses. قُلِ Say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah أَسْرَعُ (is) more swift مَكْرًا (in) planning." إِنَّ Indeed, رُسُلَنَا Our Messengers يَكْتُبُونَ write down مَا what تَمْكُرُونَ you plot.
English - And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they conspire against Our verses. Say, "Allah is swifter in strategy." Indeed, Our messengers record that which you conspire. .
हिंदी - और लोगों को जो तकलीफ पहुँची उसके बाद जब हमने अपनी रहमत का जाएका चखा दिया तो यकायक उन लोगों से हमारी आयतों में हीले बाजी शुरू कर दी (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि तद्बीर में खुदा सब से ज्यादा तेज है तुम जो कुछ मक्कारी करते हो वह हमारे भेजे हुए (फरिश्ते) लिखते जाते हैं।.
Ayah 22
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُسَيِّرُكُمْ enables you to travel فِى in ٱلْبَرِّ the land وَٱلْبَحْرِ and the sea, حَتَّىٰٓ until, إِذَا when كُنتُمْ you are فِى in ٱلْفُلْكِ the ships وَجَرَيْنَ and they sail بِهِم with them بِرِيحٍ with a wind طَيِّبَةٍ good, وَفَرِحُوا۟ and they rejoice بِهَا therein جَآءَتْهَا comes to it رِيحٌ a wind عَاصِفٌ stormy, وَجَآءَهُمُ and comes to them ٱلْمَوْجُ the waves مِن from كُلِّ every مَكَانٍ place, وَظَنُّوٓا۟ and they assume أَنَّهُمْ that they أُحِيطَ are surrounded بِهِمْ with them. دَعَوُا۟ They call ٱللَّهَ Allah مُخْلِصِينَ sincerely لَهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ (in) the religion, لَئِنْ (saying), "If أَنجَيْتَنَا You save us مِنْ from هَٰذِهِۦ this, لَنَكُونَنَّ surely we will be مِنَ among ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ the thankful."
English - It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from everywhere and they assume that they are surrounded, supplicating Allah, sincere to Him in religion, "If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful." .
हिंदी - वह वही खुदा है जो तुम्हें खुश्की और दरिया में सैर कराता फिरता है यहाँ तक कि जब (कभी) तुम कश्तियों पर सवार होते हो और वह उन लोगों को बाद मुवाफिक (हवा के धारे) की मदद से लेकर चली और लोग उस (की रफ्तार) से खुश हुए (यकायक) कश्ती पर हवा का एक झोंका आ पड़ा और (आना था कि) हर तरफ से उस पर लहरें (बढ़ी चली) आ रही हैं और उन लोगों ने समझ लिया कि अब घिर गए (और जान न बचेगी) तब अपने अकीदे को उसके वास्ते निरा खरा करके खुदा से दुआएँ मागँने लगते हैं कि (खुदाया) अगर तूने इस (मुसीबत) से हमें नजात दी तो हम जरुर बड़े शुक्र गुजार होंगे।.
Ayah 23
فَلَمَّآ But when أَنجَىٰهُمْ He saved them, إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَبْغُونَ rebel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth بِغَيْرِ without ٱلْحَقِّ [the] right. يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ O mankind! إِنَّمَا Only بَغْيُكُمْ your rebellion عَلَىٰٓ (is) against أَنفُسِكُم yourselves, مَّتَٰعَ (the) enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world. ثُمَّ Then إِلَيْنَا to Us مَرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return فَنُنَبِّئُكُم and We will inform you بِمَا of what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do.
English - But when He saves them, at once they commit injustice upon the earth without right. O mankind, your injustice is only against yourselves, [being merely] the enjoyment of worldly life. Then to Us is your return, and We will inform you of what you used to do. .
हिंदी - फिर जब खुदा ने उन्हें नजात दी तो वह लोग जमीन पर (कदम रखते ही) फौरन नाहक सरकशी करने लगते हैं (ऐ लोगों तुम्हारी सरकशी का वबाल) तो तुम्हारी ही जान पर है - (ये भी) दुनिया की (चन्द रोजा) जिन्दगी का फायदा है फिर आखिर हमारी (ही) तरफ तुमको लौटकर आना है तो (उस वक्त) हम तुमको जो कुछ (दुनिया में) करते थे बता दंेगे।.
Ayah 24
إِنَّمَا Only مَثَلُ (the) example ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world كَمَآءٍ (is) like (the) water أَنزَلْنَٰهُ which We sent down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky, فَٱخْتَلَطَ so absorbs بِهِۦ [with] it, نَبَاتُ (the) plants ٱلْأَرْضِ (of) the earth مِمَّا from which يَأْكُلُ eat ٱلنَّاسُ the men وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ and the cattle, حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَآ when أَخَذَتِ takes ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth زُخْرُفَهَا its adornment وَٱزَّيَّنَتْ and is beautified وَظَنَّ and think أَهْلُهَآ its people أَنَّهُمْ that they قَٰدِرُونَ have the power عَلَيْهَآ over it, أَتَىٰهَآ comes (to) it أَمْرُنَا Our command لَيْلًا (by) night أَوْ or نَهَارًا (by) day, فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا and We make it حَصِيدًا a harvest clean-mown, كَأَن as if لَّمْ not تَغْنَ it had flourished بِٱلْأَمْسِ yesterday. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نُفَصِّلُ We explain ٱلْءَايَٰتِ the Signs لِقَوْمٍ for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ who reflect.
English - The example of [this] worldly life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb – [those] from which men and livestock eat – until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified and its people suppose that they have capability over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do We explain in detail the signs for a people who give thought. .
हिंदी - दुनियावी जिदगी की मसल तो बस पानी की सी है कि हमने उसको आसमान से बरसाया फिर जमीन के साग पात जिसको लोग और चौपाए खा जाते हैं (उसके साथ मिल जुलकर निकले यहाँ तक कि जब जमीन ने (फसल की चीजों से) अपना बनाओ सिंगार कर लिया और (हर तरह) आरास्ता हो गई और खेत वालों ने समझ लिया कि अब वह उस पर यकीनन काबू पा गए (जब चाहेंगे काट लेगे) यकायक हमारा हुक्म व अजाब रात या दिन को आ पहुँचा तो हमने उस खेत को ऐसा साफ कटा हुआ बना दिया कि गोया कुल उसमें कुछ था ही नहीं जो लोग गौर व फिक्र करते हैं उनके वास्ते हम आयतों को यूँ तफसीलदार बयान करते है।.
Ayah 25
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَدْعُوٓا۟ calls إِلَىٰ to دَارِ (the) Home ٱلسَّلَٰمِ (of) the Peace, وَيَهْدِى and guides مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ (the) straight path. مُّسْتَقِيمٍ (the) straight path.
English - And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path. .
हिंदी - और खुदा तो आराम के घर (बेहश्त) की तरफ बुलाता है और जिसको चाहता है सीधे रास्ते की हिदायत करता है।.
Ayah 26
لِّلَّذِينَ For those who أَحْسَنُوا۟ do good ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ (is) the best وَزِيَادَةٌ and more. وَلَا And not يَرْهَقُ (will) cover وُجُوهَهُمْ their faces قَتَرٌ dust وَلَا and not ذِلَّةٌ humiliation. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ (of) Paradise, هُمْ they فِيهَا in it خَٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever.
English - For them who have done good is the best [reward] –and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally. .
हिंदी - जिन लोगों ने दुनिया में भलाई की उनके लिए (आखिरत में भी) भलाई है (बल्कि) और कुछ बढ़कर और न (गुनेहगारों की तरह) उनके चेहरों पर कालिक लगी हुई होगी और न (उन्हें जिल्लत होगी यही लोग जन्नती हैं कि उसमें हमेशा रहा सहा करेंगे।.
Ayah 27
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَسَبُوا۟ earned ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ the evil deeds, جَزَآءُ (the) recompense سَيِّئَةٍۭ (of) an evil deed بِمِثْلِهَا (is) like it, وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ and (will) cover them ذِلَّةٌ humiliation. مَّا They will not have لَهُم They will not have مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah مِنْ any عَاصِمٍ defender. كَأَنَّمَآ As if أُغْشِيَتْ had been covered وُجُوهُهُمْ their faces قِطَعًا (with) pieces مِّنَ from ٱلَّيْلِ the darkness (of) night. مُظْلِمًا the darkness (of) night. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire, هُمْ they فِيهَا in it خَٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever.
English - But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings – the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allah no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night – so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally. .
हिंदी - और जिन लोगों ने बुरे काम किए हैं तो गुनाह की सजा उसके बराबर है और उन पर रुसवाई छाई होगी खुदा (के अजाब) से उनका कोई बचाने वाला न होगा (उनके मुह ऐसे काले होंगे) गोया उनके चेहरे यबों यजूर (अंधेरी रात) के टुकड़े से ढक दिए गए हैं यही लोग जहन्नुमी हैं कि ये उसमें हमेशा रहेंगे।.
Ayah 28
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day نَحْشُرُهُمْ We will gather them جَمِيعًا all together, ثُمَّ then نَقُولُ We will say لِلَّذِينَ to those who أَشْرَكُوا۟ associate partners (with Allah), مَكَانَكُمْ "(Remain in) your place أَنتُمْ you وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ and your partners." فَزَيَّلْنَا Then We will separate بَيْنَهُمْ [between] them, وَقَالَ and (will) say شُرَكَآؤُهُم their partners, مَّا "Not كُنتُمْ you used (to) إِيَّانَا worship us." تَعْبُدُونَ worship us."
English - And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will gather them all together – then We will say to those who associated others with Allah, "[Remain in] your place, you and your 'partners.' " Then We will separate them, and their "partners" will say, "You did not used to worship us, .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल उस दिन से डराओ) जिस दिन सब को इकट्ठा करेगें-फिर मुशरेकीन से कहेंगें कि तुम और तुम्हारे (बनाए हुए खुदा के) शरीक जरा अपनी जगह ठहरो फिर हम वाहम उनमें फूट डाल देगें और उनके शरीक उनसे कहेंगे कि तुम तो हमारी परसतिश करते न थे।.
Ayah 29
فَكَفَىٰ So sufficient بِٱللَّهِ (is) Allah شَهِيدًۢا (as) a witness بَيْنَنَا between us وَبَيْنَكُمْ and between you إِن that كُنَّا we were عَنْ of عِبَادَتِكُمْ your worship لَغَٰفِلِينَ certainly unaware.
English - And sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you that we were of your worship unaware.” .
हिंदी - तो (अब) हमारे और तुम्हारे दरमियान गवाही के वास्ते खुदा ही काफी है हम को तुम्हारी परसतिश की खबर ही न थी।.
Ayah 30
هُنَالِكَ There تَبْلُوا۟ will be put to trial كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّآ (for) what أَسْلَفَتْ it did previously, وَرُدُّوٓا۟ and they will be returned إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah مَوْلَىٰهُمُ their Lord ٱلْحَقِّ the true, وَضَلَّ and will be lost عَنْهُم from them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) يَفْتَرُونَ invent.
English - There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah, their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent. .
हिंदी - (गरज) वहाँ हर शख्श जो कुछ जिसने पहले (दुनिया में) किया है जाँच लेगा और वह सब के सब अपने सच्चे मालिक खुदा की बारगाह में लौटकर लाए जाएँगें और (दुनिया में) जो कुछ इफतेरा परदाजिया (झूठी बातें) करते थे सब उनके पास से चल चंपत हो जाएगें।.
Ayah 31
قُلْ Say, مَن "Who يَرْزُقُكُم provides for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth? أَمَّن Or who يَمْلِكُ controls ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ and the sight? وَمَن And who يُخْرِجُ brings out ٱلْحَىَّ the living مِنَ from ٱلْمَيِّتِ the dead, وَيُخْرِجُ and brings forth ٱلْمَيِّتَ the dead مِنَ from ٱلْحَىِّ the living? وَمَن And who يُدَبِّرُ disposes ٱلْأَمْرَ the affairs?" فَسَيَقُولُونَ Then they will say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah." فَقُلْ Then say, أَفَلَا "Then will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear (Him)?"
English - Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, "Allah," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?" .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल तुम उने जरा पूछो तो कि तुम्हें आसमान व जमीन से कौन रोजी देता है या (तुम्हारे) कान और (तुम्हारी) ऑंखों का कौन मालिक है और कौन शख्श मुर्दे से जिन्दा को निकालता है और जिन्दा से मुर्दे को निकालता है और हर अम्र (काम) का बन्दोबस्त कौन करता है तो फौरन बोल उठेंगे कि खुदा (ऐ रसूल) तुम कहो तो क्या तुम इस पर भी (उससे) नहीं डरते हो।.
Ayah 32
فَذَٰلِكُمُ For that ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah, رَبُّكُمُ your Lord, ٱلْحَقُّ the true. فَمَاذَا So what (can be) بَعْدَ after ٱلْحَقِّ the truth إِلَّا except ٱلضَّلَٰلُ the error? فَأَنَّىٰ So how تُصْرَفُونَ (are) you turned away.
English - For that is Allah, your Lord, the Truth. And what can be beyond truth except error? So how are you averted? .
हिंदी - फिर वही खुदा तो तुम्हारा सच्चा रब है फिर हक बात के बाद गुमराही के सिवा और क्या है फिर तुम कहाँ फिरे चले जा रहे हो।.
Ayah 33
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus حَقَّتْ (is) proved true كَلِمَتُ (the) Word رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord عَلَى upon ٱلَّذِينَ those who فَسَقُوٓا۟ defiantly disobeyed, أَنَّهُمْ that they لَا (will) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe.
English - Thus the word of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed – that they will not believe. .
हिंदी - ये तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की बात बदचलन लोगों पर साबित होकर रही कि ये लोग हरगिज ईमान न लाएँगे।.
Ayah 34
قُلْ Say, هَلْ "Is (there) مِن of شُرَكَآئِكُم your partners مَّن (any) who يَبْدَؤُا۟ originates ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation ثُمَّ then يُعِيدُهُۥ repeats it?" قُلِ Say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah يَبْدَؤُا۟ originates ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation ثُمَّ then يُعِيدُهُۥ repeats it. فَأَنَّىٰ So how تُؤْفَكُونَ you are deluded?"
English - Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who begins creation and then repeats it?" Say, "Allah begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?” .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) उनसे पूछो तो कि तुम ने जिन लोगों को (खुदा का) शरीक बनाया है कोई भी ऐसा है जो मखलूकात को पहली बार पैदा करे फिर उन को (मरने के बाद) दोबारा जिन्दा करे (तो क्या जवाब देगें) तुम्ही कहो कि खुदा ही पहले भी पैदा करता है फिर वही दोबारा जिन्दा करता है तो किधर तुम उल्टे जा रहे हो।.
Ayah 35
قُلْ Say, هَلْ "Is (there) مِن of شُرَكَآئِكُم your partners مَّن (any) who يَهْدِىٓ guides إِلَى to ٱلْحَقِّ the truth?" قُلِ Say, ٱللَّهُ "Allah يَهْدِى guides لِلْحَقِّ to the truth. أَفَمَن Is then (he) who يَهْدِىٓ guides إِلَى to ٱلْحَقِّ the truth أَحَقُّ more worthy أَن that يُتَّبَعَ he should be followed أَمَّن or (he) who لَّا (does) not يَهِدِّىٓ guide إِلَّآ unless أَن [that] يُهْدَىٰ he is guided? فَمَا Then what لَكُمْ (is) for you, كَيْفَ how تَحْكُمُونَ you judge?"
English - Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who guides to the truth?" Say, "Allah guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you – how do you judge?" .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल उनसे) कहो तो कि तुम्हारे (बनाए हुए) शरीकों में से कोई ऐसा भी है जो तुम्हें (दीन) हक की राह दिखा सके तुम ही कह दो कि (खुदा) दीन की राह दिखाता है तो जो तुम्हे दीने हक की राह दिखाता है क्या वह ज्यादा हकदार है कि उसके हुक्म की पैरवी की जाए या वह शखश जो (दूसरे) की हिदायत तो दर किनार खुद ही जब तक दूसरा उसको राह न दिखाए राह नही देख पाता तो तुम लोगों को क्या हो गया है।.
Ayah 36
وَمَا And not يَتَّبِعُ follow أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them إِلَّا except ظَنًّا assumption. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلظَّنَّ the assumption لَا (does) not يُغْنِى avail مِنَ against ٱلْحَقِّ the truth شَيْـًٔا anything. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower بِمَا of what يَفْعَلُونَ they do.
English - And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. .
हिंदी - तुम कैसे हुक्म लगाते हो और उनमें के अक्सर तो बस अपने गुमान पर चलते हैं (हालॉकि) गुमान यकीन के मुकाबले में हरगिज कुछ भी काम नहीं आ सकता बेशक वह लोग जो कुछ (भी) कर रहे हैं खुदा उसे खूब जानता है।.
Ayah 37
وَمَا And not كَانَ is هَٰذَا this ٱلْقُرْءَانُ the Quran, أَن that يُفْتَرَىٰ (it could be) produced مِن by دُونِ other than Allah, ٱللَّهِ other than Allah, وَلَٰكِن but تَصْدِيقَ (it is) a confirmation ٱلَّذِى (of that) which بَيْنَ (was) before it يَدَيْهِ (was) before it وَتَفْصِيلَ and a detailed explanation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book, لَا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it, مِن from رَّبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds.
English - And it was not [possible] for this Qur’an to be produced by other than Allah, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds. .
हिंदी - और ये कुरान ऐसा नहीं कि खुदा के सिवा कोई और अपनी तरफ से झूठ मूठ बना डाले बल्कि (ये तो) जो (किताबें) पहले की उसके सामने मौजूद हैं उसकी तसदीक और (उन) किताबों की तफसील है उसमें कुछ भी शक नहीं कि ये सारे जहाँन के परवरदिगार की तरफ से है।.
Ayah 38
أَمْ Or يَقُولُونَ (do) they say, ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ "He has invented it?" قُلْ Say, فَأْتُوا۟ "Then bring بِسُورَةٍ a Surah مِّثْلِهِۦ like it وَٱدْعُوا۟ and call مَنِ whoever ٱسْتَطَعْتُم you can مِّن besides Allah, دُونِ besides Allah, ٱللَّهِ besides Allah, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful."
English - Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a sūrah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful." .
हिंदी - क्या ये लोग कहते हैं कि इसको रसूल ने खुद झूठ मूठ बना लिया है (ऐ रसूल) तुम कहो कि (अच्छा) तो तुम अगर (अपने दावे में) सच्चे हो तो (भला) एक ही सूरा उसके बराबर का बना लाओ और खुदा के सिवा जिसको तुम्हें (मदद के वास्ते) बुलाते बन पड़े बुला लो।.
Ayah 39
بَلْ Nay, كَذَّبُوا۟ they denied بِمَا what لَمْ not يُحِيطُوا۟ they could encompass بِعِلْمِهِۦ (of) its knowledge وَلَمَّا and not يَأْتِهِمْ has come (to) them تَأْوِيلُهُۥ its interpretation. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus كَذَّبَ denied ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن before them, قَبْلِهِمْ before them, فَٱنظُرْ then see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ (of) the wrongdoers.
English - Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers. .
हिंदी - (ये लोग लाते तो क्या) बल्कि (उलटे) जिसके जानने पर उनका हाथ न पहुँचा हो लगे उसको झुठलाने हालॉकि अभी तक उनके जेहन में उसके मायने नहीं आए इसी तरह उन लोगों ने भी झुठलाया था जो उनसे पहले थे-तब जरा गौर तो करो कि (उन) जालिमों का क्या (बुरा) अंजाम हुआ।.
Ayah 40
وَمِنْهُم And of them مَّن (is one) who يُؤْمِنُ believes بِهِۦ in it, وَمِنْهُم and of them مَّن (is one) who لَّا (does) not يُؤْمِنُ believe بِهِۦ in it. وَرَبُّكَ And your Lord أَعْلَمُ (is) All-Knower بِٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ of the corrupters.
English - And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters. .
हिंदी - और उनमें से बाज तो ऐसे है कि इस कुरान पर आइन्दा ईमान लाएगें और बाज ऐसे हैं जो ईमान लाएगें ही नहीं।.
Ayah 41
وَإِن And if كَذَّبُوكَ they deny you فَقُل then say, لِّى "For me عَمَلِى (are) my deeds, وَلَكُمْ and for you عَمَلُكُمْ (are) your deeds. أَنتُم You بَرِيٓـُٔونَ (are) disassociated مِمَّآ from what أَعْمَلُ I do, وَأَنَا۠ and I am بَرِىٓءٌ disassociated مِّمَّا from what تَعْمَلُونَ you do."
English - And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do.” .
हिंदी - और (ऐ रसूल) तुम्हारा परवरदिगार फसादियों को खूब जानता है और अगर वह तुम्हे झुठलाए तो तुम कह दो कि हमारे लिए हमारी कार गुजारी है और तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी कारस्तानी जो कुछ मै करता हूँ उसके तुम जिम्मेदार नहीं और जो कुछ तुम करते हो उससे मै बरी हूँ।.
Ayah 42
وَمِنْهُم And among them مَّن (are some) who يَسْتَمِعُونَ listen إِلَيْكَ to you. أَفَأَنتَ But (can) you تُسْمِعُ cause the deaf to hear ٱلصُّمَّ cause the deaf to hear وَلَوْ even though كَانُوا۟ they [were] لَا (do) not يَعْقِلُونَ use reason?
English - And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason? .
हिंदी - और उनमें से बाज ऐसे हैं कि तुम्हारी जबानों की तरफ कान लगाए रहते हैं तो (क्या) वह तुम्हारी सुन लेगें हरगिज नहीं अगरचे वह कुछ समझ भी न सकते हो।.
Ayah 43
وَمِنْهُم And among them مَّن (are some) who يَنظُرُ look إِلَيْكَ at you. أَفَأَنتَ But (can) you تَهْدِى guide ٱلْعُمْىَ the blind وَلَوْ even though كَانُوا۟ they [were] لَا (do) not يُبْصِرُونَ see?
English - And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see? .
हिंदी - तुम कही बहरों को कुछ सुना सकते हो और बाज उनमें से ऐसे हैं जो तुम्हारी तरफ (टकटकी बाँधे) देखते हैं तो (क्या वह ईमान लाएँगें हरगिज नहीं) अगरचे उन्हें कुछ न सूझता हो तो तुम अन्धे को राहे रास्त दिखा दोगे।.
Ayah 44
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يَظْلِمُ wrong ٱلنَّاسَ the people شَيْـًٔا (in) anything, وَلَٰكِنَّ but ٱلنَّاسَ the people أَنفُسَهُمْ wrong themselves. يَظْلِمُونَ wrong themselves.
English - Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves. .
हिंदी - खुदा तो हरगिज लोगों पर कुछ भी जुल्म नहीं करता मगर लोग खुद अपने ऊपर (अपनी करतूत से) जुल्म किया करते है।.
Ayah 45
وَيَوْمَ And the Day يَحْشُرُهُمْ He will gather them, كَأَن as if لَّمْ they had not remained يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ they had not remained إِلَّا except سَاعَةً an hour مِّنَ of ٱلنَّهَارِ the day, يَتَعَارَفُونَ they will recognize each other بَيْنَهُمْ between them. قَدْ Certainly, خَسِرَ (will have) lost ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَذَّبُوا۟ denied بِلِقَآءِ the meeting ٱللَّهِ (with) Allah, وَمَا and not كَانُوا۟ they were مُهْتَدِينَ the guided ones.
English - And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided. .
हिंदी - और जिस दिन खुदा इन लोगों को (अपनी बारगाह में) जमा करेगा तो गोया ये लोग (समझेगें कि दुनिया में) बस घड़ी दिन भर ठहरे और आपस में एक दूसरे को पहचानेंगे जिन लोगों ने खुदा की बारगाह में हाजिर होने को झुठलाया वह जरुर घाटे में हैं और हिदायत याफता न थे।.
Ayah 46
وَإِمَّا And whether نُرِيَنَّكَ We show you بَعْضَ some ٱلَّذِى (of) that which نَعِدُهُمْ We promised them أَوْ or نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ We cause you to die, فَإِلَيْنَا then to Us مَرْجِعُهُمْ (is) their return, ثُمَّ then ٱللَّهُ Allah شَهِيدٌ (is) a Witness عَلَىٰ over مَا what يَفْعَلُونَ they do.
English - And whether We show you some of what We promise them, [O Muhammad], or We take you in death, to Us is their return; then, [either way], Allah is a witness concerning what they are doing. .
हिंदी - ऐ रसूल हम जिस जिस (अजाब) का उनसे वायदा कर चुके हैं उनमें से बाज ख्वाहा तुम्हें दिखा दें या तुमको (पहले ही दुनिया से) उठा ले फिर (आखिर) तो उन सबको हमारी तरफ लौटना ही है फिर जो कुछ ये लोग कर रहे हैं खुदा तो उस पर गवाह ही है।.
Ayah 47
وَلِكُلِّ And for every أُمَّةٍ nation رَّسُولٌ (is) a Messenger. فَإِذَا So when جَآءَ comes رَسُولُهُمْ their Messenger, قُضِىَ it will be judged بَيْنَهُم between them بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice, وَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged.
English - And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - और हर उम्मत का खास (एक) एक रसूल हुआ है फिर जब उनका रसूल (हमारी बारगाह में) आएगा तो उनके दरमियान इन्साफ के साथ फैसला कर दिया जाएगा और उन पर जर्रा बराबर जुल्म न किया जाएगा।.
Ayah 48
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, مَتَىٰ "When هَٰذَا (will) this, ٱلْوَعْدُ the promise (be fulfilled), إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful?"
English - And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?” .
हिंदी - ये लोग कहा करते हैं कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो (आखिर) ये (अजाब का वायदा) कब पूरा होगा।.
Ayah 49
قُل Say, لَّآ "Not أَمْلِكُ I have power لِنَفْسِى for myself ضَرًّا (for) any harm وَلَا and not نَفْعًا (for) any profit إِلَّا except مَا what شَآءَ Allah wills. ٱللَّهُ Allah wills. لِكُلِّ For every أُمَّةٍ nation أَجَلٌ (is) a term. إِذَا When جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their term, فَلَا then not يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ they remain behind سَاعَةً an hour, وَلَا and not يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ they can precede (it)."
English - Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]." .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि मै खुद अपने वास्ते नुकसान पर कादिर हूँ न नफा पर मगर जो खुदा चाहे हर उम्मत (के रहने) का (उसके इल्म में) एक वक्त मुकर्रर है-जब उन का वक्त आ जाता है तो न एक घड़ी पीछे हट सकती हैं और न आगे बढ़ सकते हैं।.
Ayah 50
قُلْ Say, أَرَءَيْتُمْ "Do you see, إِنْ if أَتَىٰكُمْ comes to you عَذَابُهُۥ His punishment بَيَٰتًا (by) night أَوْ or نَهَارًا (by) day, مَّاذَا what (portion) يَسْتَعْجِلُ of it would (wish to) hasten مِنْهُ of it would (wish to) hasten ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals?"
English - Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day – for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?” .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि क्या तुम समझते हो कि अगर उसका अजाब तुम पर रात को या दिन को आ जाए तो (तुम क्या करोगे) फिर गुनाहगार लोग आखिर काहे की जल्दी मचा रहे हैं।.
Ayah 51
أَثُمَّ Is (it) then إِذَا when مَا when وَقَعَ (it had) occurred ءَامَنتُم you (will) believe بِهِۦٓ in it? ءَآلْـَٰٔنَ Now? وَقَدْ And certainly كُنتُم you were بِهِۦ seeking to hasten it. تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ seeking to hasten it.
English - Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient. .
हिंदी - फिर क्या जब (तुम पर) आ चुकेगा तब उस पर ईमान लाओगे (आहा) क्या अब (ईमान लाए) हालॉकि तुम तो इसकी जल्दी मचाया करते थे।.
Ayah 52
ثُمَّ Then قِيلَ it will be said لِلَّذِينَ to those who ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged, ذُوقُوا۟ "Taste عَذَابَ punishment ٱلْخُلْدِ the everlasting. هَلْ Are you (being) recompensed تُجْزَوْنَ Are you (being) recompensed إِلَّا except بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَكْسِبُونَ earn?"
English - Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?” .
हिंदी - फिर (कयामत के दिन) जालिम लोगों से कहा जाएगा कि (अब हमेशा के अजाब के मजे चखो (दुनिया में) जैसी तुम्हारी करतूतें तुम्हें (आखिरत में) वैसा ही बदला दिया जाएगा।.
Ayah 53
وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ And they ask you to inform أَحَقٌّ "Is it true?" هُوَ "Is it true?" قُلْ Say, إِى "Yes, وَرَبِّىٓ by my Lord! إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it لَحَقٌّ (is) surely the truth, وَمَآ and not أَنتُم you بِمُعْجِزِينَ (can) escape (it)."
English - And they ask information of you, [O Muhammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allah]." .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) तुम से लोग पूछतें हैं कि क्या (जो कुछ तुम कहते हो) वह सब ठीक है तुम कह दो (हाँ) अपने परवरदिगार की कसम ठीक है और तुम (खुदा को) हरा नहीं सकते।.
Ayah 54
وَلَوْ And if أَنَّ that لِكُلِّ for every نَفْسٍ soul ظَلَمَتْ (that) wronged, مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, لَٱفْتَدَتْ it (would) seek to ransom بِهِۦ with it, وَأَسَرُّوا۟ and they (will) confide ٱلنَّدَامَةَ the regret لَمَّا when رَأَوُا۟ they see ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment. وَقُضِىَ But will be judged بَيْنَهُم between them بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice, وَهُمْ and they لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ (be) wronged.
English - And if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom. And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and they will be judged in justice, and they will not be wronged. .
हिंदी - और (दुनिया में) जिस जिसने (हमारी नाफरमानी कर के) जुल्म किया है (कयामत के दिन) अगर तमाम खजाने जो जमीन में हैं उसे मिल जाएँ तो अपने गुनाह के बदले जरुर फिदया दे निकले और जब वह लोग अजाब को देखेगें तो इजहारे निदामत करेगें (शर्मिंदा होंगे) और उनमें बाहम इन्साफ के साथ हुक्म दिया जाएगा और उन पर जर्रा (बराबर जुल्म न किया जाएगा।.
Ayah 55
أَلَآ No doubt, إِنَّ indeed, لِلَّهِ for Allah مَا (is) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. أَلَآ No doubt إِنَّ indeed, وَعْدَ (the) Promise of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) Promise of Allah حَقٌّ (is) true. وَلَٰكِنَّ But أَكْثَرَهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know.
English - Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know. .
हिंदी - आगाह रहो कि जो कुछ आसमानों में और जमीन में है (गरज सब कुछ) खुदा ही का है आगाह राहे कि खुदा का वायदा यकीनी ठीक है मगर उनमें के अक्सर नहीं जानते हैं।.
Ayah 56
هُوَ He يُحْىِۦ gives life وَيُمِيتُ and causes death, وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned.
English - He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned. .
हिंदी - वही जिन्दा करता है और वही मारता है और तुम सब के सब उसी की तरफ लौटाए जाओगे।.
Ayah 57
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ O mankind! قَدْ Verily جَآءَتْكُم has come to you مَّوْعِظَةٌ an instruction مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord, وَشِفَآءٌ and a healing لِّمَا for what فِى (is) in ٱلصُّدُورِ your breasts, وَهُدًى and guidance وَرَحْمَةٌ and mercy لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers.
English - O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers. .
हिंदी - लोगों तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की तरफ से नसीहत (किताबे खुदा आ चुकी और जो (मरज शिर्क वगैरह) दिल में हैं उनकी दवा और ईमान वालों के लिए हिदायत और रहमत।.
Ayah 58
قُلْ Say, بِفَضْلِ "In the Bounty ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ and in His Mercy فَبِذَٰلِكَ so in that فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ let them rejoice." هُوَ It خَيْرٌ (is) better مِّمَّا than what يَجْمَعُونَ they accumulate.
English - Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy – in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate." .
हिंदी - (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि (ये कुरान) खुदा के फजल व करम और उसकी रहमत से तुमको मिला है (ही) तो उन लोगों को इस पर खुश होना चाहिए।.
Ayah 59
قُلْ Say, أَرَءَيْتُم "Have you seen مَّآ what أَنزَلَ (has been) sent down ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah لَكُم for you مِّن of رِّزْقٍ (the) provision, فَجَعَلْتُم and you have made مِّنْهُ of it حَرَامًا unlawful وَحَلَٰلًا and lawful?" قُلْ Say, ءَآللَّهُ "Has Allah أَذِنَ permitted لَكُمْ [to] you, أَمْ or عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah تَفْتَرُونَ you invent (lies)?"
English - Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah?" .
हिंदी - और जो कुछ वह जमा कर रहे हैं उससे कहीं बेहतर है (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि तुम्हारा क्या ख्याल है कि खुदा ने तुम पर रोजी नाजिल की तो अब उसमें से बाज को हराम बाज को हलाल बनाने लगे (ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि क्या खुदा ने तुम्हें इजाजत दी है या तुम खुदा पर बोहतान बाँधते हो।.
Ayah 60
وَمَا And what ظَنُّ (will be the) assumption ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who يَفْتَرُونَ invent عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie يَوْمَ (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Judgment? إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَذُو (is) surely Full (of) Bounty فَضْلٍ (is) surely Full (of) Bounty عَلَى to ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind, وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَهُمْ most of them لَا (are) not يَشْكُرُونَ grateful.
English - And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful." .
हिंदी - और जो लोग खुदा पर झूठ मूठ बोहतान बॉधा करते हैं रोजे कयामत का क्या ख्याल करते हैं उसमें शक नहीं कि ख़ुदा तो लोगों पर बड़ा फजल व (करम) है मगर उनमें से बहुतेरे शुक्र गुजार नहीं हैं।.
Ayah 61
وَمَا And not تَكُونُ you are فِى [in] شَأْنٍ any situation, وَمَا and not تَتْلُوا۟ you recite مِنْهُ of it مِن from قُرْءَانٍ (the) Quran وَلَا and not تَعْمَلُونَ you do مِنْ any عَمَلٍ deed إِلَّا except كُنَّا We are عَلَيْكُمْ over you شُهُودًا witnesses إِذْ when تُفِيضُونَ you are engaged فِيهِ in it. وَمَا And not يَعْزُبُ escapes عَن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord مِن of مِّثْقَالِ (the) weight ذَرَّةٍ (of) an atom فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heavens وَلَآ and not أَصْغَرَ smaller مِن than ذَٰلِكَ that وَلَآ and not أَكْبَرَ greater إِلَّا but فِى (is) in كِتَٰبٍ a Record مُّبِينٍ clear.
English - And, [O Muhammad], you are not [engaged] in any matter or recite any of the Qur’an and you [people] do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom's weight within the earth or within the heaven or [anything] smaller than that or greater but that it is in a clear register. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 62
أَلَآ No doubt! إِنَّ Indeed, أَوْلِيَآءَ (the) friends ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah لَا (there will be) no خَوْفٌ fear عَلَيْهِمْ upon then وَلَا and not هُمْ they يَحْزَنُونَ will grieve.
English - Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve – .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 63
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَكَانُوا۟ and are يَتَّقُونَ conscious (of Allah),
English - Those who believed and were fearing Allah. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 64
لَهُمُ For them ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ (are) the glad tidings فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world وَفِى and in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter. لَا No تَبْدِيلَ change لِكَلِمَٰتِ (is there) in the Words ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. ذَٰلِكَ That هُوَ is ٱلْفَوْزُ the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great.
English - For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 65
وَلَا And (let) not يَحْزُنكَ grieve you قَوْلُهُمْ their speech. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْعِزَّةَ the honor لِلَّهِ (belongs) to Allah جَمِيعًا all. هُوَ He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower.
English - And let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, honor [due to power] belongs to Allah entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 66
أَلَآ No doubt! إِنَّ Indeed, لِلَّهِ to Allah (belongs) مَن whoever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَن and whoever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَمَا And not يَتَّبِعُ follow ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَدْعُونَ invoke مِن other than Allah دُونِ other than Allah ٱللَّهِ other than Allah شُرَكَآءَ partners. إِن Not يَتَّبِعُونَ they follow إِلَّا but ٱلظَّنَّ the assumption وَإِنْ and not هُمْ they إِلَّا but يَخْرُصُونَ guess.
English - Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. And those who invoke other than Allah do not [actually] follow [His] "partners." They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 67
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلَّيْلَ the night لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ that you may rest فِيهِ in it وَٱلنَّهَارَ and the day مُبْصِرًا giving visibility. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people يَسْمَعُونَ (who) listen.
English - It is He who made for you the night to rest therein and the day, giving sight. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 68
قَالُوا۟ They say, ٱتَّخَذَ "Allah has taken ٱللَّهُ "Allah has taken وَلَدًا a son." سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him! هُوَ He ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) the Self-sufficient. لَهُۥ To Him (belongs) مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. إِنْ Not عِندَكُم you have مِّن any سُلْطَٰنٍۭ authority بِهَٰذَآ for this. أَتَقُولُونَ Do you say عَلَى about ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا what لَا not تَعْلَمُونَ you know?
English - They have said, "Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 69
قُلْ Say, إِنَّ "Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَفْتَرُونَ invent عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ the lie, لَا they will not succeed." يُفْلِحُونَ they will not succeed."
English - Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 70
مَتَٰعٌ An enjoyment فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world, ثُمَّ then إِلَيْنَا to Us مَرْجِعُهُمْ (is) their return, ثُمَّ then نُذِيقُهُمُ We will make them taste ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment ٱلشَّدِيدَ the severe بِمَا because كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve.
English - [For them is brief] enjoyment in this world; then to Us is their return; then We will make them taste the severe punishment because they used to disbelieve. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 71
وَٱتْلُ And recite عَلَيْهِمْ to them نَبَأَ the news نُوحٍ (of) Nuh إِذْ when قَالَ he said لِقَوْمِهِۦ to his people, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! إِن If كَانَ is كَبُرَ hard عَلَيْكُم on you مَّقَامِى my stay وَتَذْكِيرِى and my reminding بِـَٔايَٰتِ the Signs of Allah, ٱللَّهِ the Signs of Allah, فَعَلَى then on ٱللَّهِ Allah تَوَكَّلْتُ I put my trust. فَأَجْمِعُوٓا۟ So you all resolve أَمْرَكُمْ your plan وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْ and your partners. ثُمَّ Then لَا let not be يَكُنْ let not be أَمْرُكُمْ (in) your plan عَلَيْكُمْ for you غُمَّةً any doubt. ثُمَّ Then ٱقْضُوٓا۟ carry (it out) إِلَىَّ upon me وَلَا and (do) not تُنظِرُونِ give me respite.
English - And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you – then I have relied upon Allah. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 72
فَإِن But if تَوَلَّيْتُمْ you turn away فَمَا then not سَأَلْتُكُم I have asked you مِّنْ any أَجْرٍ reward. إِنْ Not أَجْرِىَ (is) my reward إِلَّا but عَلَى on ٱللَّهِ Allah, وَأُمِرْتُ and I have been commanded أَنْ that أَكُونَ I be مِنَ of ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ the Muslims."
English - And if you turn away [from my advice]– then no payment have I asked of you. My reward is only from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 73
فَكَذَّبُوهُ But they denied him, فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ so We saved him وَمَن and (those) who مَّعَهُۥ (were) with him فِى in ٱلْفُلْكِ the ship, وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ and We made them خَلَٰٓئِفَ successors, وَأَغْرَقْنَا and We drowned ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَذَّبُوا۟ denied بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا Our Signs. فَٱنظُرْ Then see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ (of) those who were warned.
English - And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 74
ثُمَّ Then بَعَثْنَا We sent مِنۢ after him بَعْدِهِۦ after him رُسُلًا Messengers إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِمْ their people, فَجَآءُوهُم and they came to them بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs. فَمَا But not كَانُوا۟ they were لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ to believe بِمَا what كَذَّبُوا۟ they had denied بِهِۦ [it] مِن before. قَبْلُ before. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَطْبَعُ We seal عَلَىٰ [on] قُلُوبِ the hearts ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ (of) the transgressors.
English - Then We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 75
ثُمَّ Then بَعَثْنَا We sent مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِم after them مُّوسَىٰ Musa وَهَٰرُونَ and Harun إِلَىٰ to فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ and his chiefs بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا with Our Signs, فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ but they were arrogant وَكَانُوا۟ and were قَوْمًا a people مُّجْرِمِينَ criminal.
English - Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his establishment with Our signs, but they behaved arrogantly and were a criminal people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 76
فَلَمَّا So when جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْحَقُّ the truth مِنْ from Us, عِندِنَا from Us, قَالُوٓا۟ they said, إِنَّ "Indeed هَٰذَا this لَسِحْرٌ (is) surely, a magic مُّبِينٌ clear."
English - So when there came to them the truth from Us, they said, "Indeed, this is obvious magic." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 77
قَالَ Musa said, مُوسَىٰٓ Musa said, أَتَقُولُونَ "Do you say لِلْحَقِّ about the truth لَمَّا when جَآءَكُمْ it has come to you? أَسِحْرٌ Is this magic? هَٰذَا Is this magic? وَلَا But (will) not يُفْلِحُ succeed ٱلسَّٰحِرُونَ the magicians."
English - Moses said, "Do you say [thus] about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But magicians will not succeed." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 78
قَالُوٓا۟ They said, أَجِئْتَنَا "Have you come to us لِتَلْفِتَنَا to turn us away عَمَّا from that وَجَدْنَا we found عَلَيْهِ on it ءَابَآءَنَا our forefathers, وَتَكُونَ and you two (may) have لَكُمَا and you two (may) have ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ the greatness فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land? وَمَا And we (are) not نَحْنُ And we (are) not لَكُمَا (in) you two بِمُؤْمِنِينَ believers."
English - They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 79
وَقَالَ And Firaun said, فِرْعَوْنُ And Firaun said, ٱئْتُونِى "Bring to me بِكُلِّ every سَٰحِرٍ magician عَلِيمٍ learned."
English - And Pharaoh said, "Bring to me every learned magician." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 80
فَلَمَّا So when جَآءَ came ٱلسَّحَرَةُ the magicians, قَالَ said لَهُم to them مُّوسَىٰٓ Musa, أَلْقُوا۟ "Throw مَآ whatever أَنتُم you مُّلْقُونَ (wish to) throw."
English - So when the magicians came, Moses said to them, "Throw down whatever you will throw." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 81
فَلَمَّآ Then when أَلْقَوْا۟ they (had) thrown, قَالَ Musa said, مُوسَىٰ Musa said, مَا "What جِئْتُم you have brought بِهِ [it] ٱلسِّحْرُ (is) the magic. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah سَيُبْطِلُهُۥٓ will nullify it. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُصْلِحُ amend عَمَلَ the work ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ (of) the corrupters.
English - And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 82
وَيُحِقُّ And Allah will establish ٱللَّهُ And Allah will establish ٱلْحَقَّ the truth بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ by His words, وَلَوْ even if كَرِهَ dislike it ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals."
English - And Allah will establish the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 83
فَمَآ But none ءَامَنَ believed لِمُوسَىٰٓ Musa إِلَّا except ذُرِّيَّةٌ (the) offspring مِّن among قَوْمِهِۦ his people عَلَىٰ for خَوْفٍ fear مِّن of فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَمَلَإِي۟هِمْ and their chiefs, أَن lest يَفْتِنَهُمْ they persecute them. وَإِنَّ And indeed, فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun لَعَالٍ (was) a tyrant فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, وَإِنَّهُۥ and indeed, he لَمِنَ (was) of ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ the ones who commit excesses.
English - But no one believed Moses, except [some] youths among his people, for fear of Pharaoh and his establishment that they would persecute them. And indeed, Pharaoh was haughty within the land, and indeed, he was of the transgressors. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 84
وَقَالَ And Musa said, مُوسَىٰ And Musa said, يَٰقَوْمِ "O my people! إِن If كُنتُمْ you have ءَامَنتُم believed بِٱللَّهِ in Allah, فَعَلَيْهِ then on Him تَوَكَّلُوٓا۟ put your trust, إِن if كُنتُم you are مُّسْلِمِينَ Muslims."
English - And Moses said, "O my people, if you have believed in Allah, then rely upon Him, if you should be Muslims." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 85
فَقَالُوا۟ Then they said, عَلَى "Upon ٱللَّهِ Allah تَوَكَّلْنَا we put our trust. رَبَّنَا Our Lord! لَا (Do) not تَجْعَلْنَا make us فِتْنَةً a trial لِّلْقَوْمِ for the people - ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers.
English - So they said, "Upon Allah do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 86
وَنَجِّنَا And save us بِرَحْمَتِكَ by Your Mercy مِنَ from ٱلْقَوْمِ the people - ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers."
English - And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 87
وَأَوْحَيْنَآ And We inspired إِلَىٰ to مُوسَىٰ Musa وَأَخِيهِ and his brother أَن that, تَبَوَّءَا "Settle لِقَوْمِكُمَا your people بِمِصْرَ in Egypt بُيُوتًا (in) houses, وَٱجْعَلُوا۟ and make بُيُوتَكُمْ your houses قِبْلَةً (as) places of worship, وَأَقِيمُوا۟ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer. وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (to) the believers."
English - And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 88
وَقَالَ And Musa said, مُوسَىٰ And Musa said, رَبَّنَآ "Our Lord! إِنَّكَ Indeed, You ءَاتَيْتَ have given فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَمَلَأَهُۥ and his chiefs زِينَةً splendor وَأَمْوَٰلًا and wealth فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world. رَبَّنَا Our Lord! لِيُضِلُّوا۟ That they may lead astray عَن from سَبِيلِكَ Your way. رَبَّنَا Our Lord! ٱطْمِسْ Destroy عَلَىٰٓ [on] أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ their wealth وَٱشْدُدْ and harden عَلَىٰ [on] قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts, فَلَا so (that) not يُؤْمِنُوا۟ they believe حَتَّىٰ until يَرَوُا۟ they see ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment - ٱلْأَلِيمَ the painful."
English - And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 89
قَالَ He said, قَدْ "Verily, أُجِيبَت has been answered دَّعْوَتُكُمَا (the) invocation of both of you. فَٱسْتَقِيمَا So you two (keep to the) straight way. وَلَا And (do) not تَتَّبِعَآنِّ follow سَبِيلَ (the) way ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know."
English - [Allah] said, "Your supplication has been answered." So remain on a right course and follow not the way of those who do not know." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 90
وَجَٰوَزْنَا And We took across بِبَنِىٓ (the) Children إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (of) Israel - ٱلْبَحْرَ the sea, فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ and followed them فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun وَجُنُودُهُۥ and his hosts بَغْيًا (in) rebellion وَعَدْوًا and enmity, حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَآ when أَدْرَكَهُ overtook him ٱلْغَرَقُ the drowning, قَالَ he said, ءَامَنتُ "I believe أَنَّهُۥ that لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except ٱلَّذِىٓ the One, ءَامَنَتْ in Whom believe بِهِۦ in Whom believe بَنُوٓا۟ the Children of Israel, إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ the Children of Israel, وَأَنَا۠ and I am مِنَ of ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ the Muslims."
English - And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 91
ءَآلْـَٰٔنَ "Now? وَقَدْ And verily, عَصَيْتَ you (had) disobeyed قَبْلُ before وَكُنتَ and you were مِنَ of ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ the corrupters?"
English - Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 92
فَٱلْيَوْمَ So today نُنَجِّيكَ We will save you بِبَدَنِكَ in your body, لِتَكُونَ that you may be لِمَنْ for (those) who خَلْفَكَ succeed you ءَايَةً a sign. وَإِنَّ And indeed, كَثِيرًا many مِّنَ among ٱلنَّاسِ the mankind عَنْ of ءَايَٰتِنَا Our Signs لَغَٰفِلُونَ (are) surely heedless."
English - So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 93
وَلَقَدْ And verily, بَوَّأْنَا We settled بَنِىٓ (the) Children إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (of) Israel مُبَوَّأَ (in) a settlement صِدْقٍ honorable, وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم and We provided them مِّنَ with ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ the good things, فَمَا and not ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ they differ حَتَّىٰ until جَآءَهُمُ came to them ٱلْعِلْمُ the knowledge. إِنَّ Indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord يَقْضِى will judge بَيْنَهُمْ between them يَوْمَ (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection, فِيمَا concerning what كَانُوا۟ they used (to) فِيهِ [in it] يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ.
English - And We had certainty settled the Children of Israel in an agreeable settlement and provided them with good things. And they did not differ until [after] knowledge had come to them. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 94
فَإِن So if كُنتَ you are فِى in شَكٍّ doubt مِّمَّآ of what أَنزَلْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you, فَسْـَٔلِ then ask ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَقْرَءُونَ (have been) reading ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book مِن before you. قَبْلِكَ before you. لَقَدْ Verily, جَآءَكَ has come to you ٱلْحَقُّ the truth مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord, فَلَا so (do) not تَكُونَنَّ be مِنَ among ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ the doubters.
English - So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 95
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونَنَّ be مِنَ of ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَذَّبُوا۟ deny بِـَٔايَٰتِ (the) Signs of Allah, ٱللَّهِ (the) Signs of Allah, فَتَكُونَ then you will be مِنَ among ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ the losers.
English - And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 96
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those [whom], حَقَّتْ has become due عَلَيْهِمْ on them كَلِمَتُ (the) Word رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord لَا will not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe.
English - Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 97
وَلَوْ Even if جَآءَتْهُمْ comes to them كُلُّ every ءَايَةٍ Sign حَتَّىٰ until يَرَوُا۟ they see ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment - ٱلْأَلِيمَ the painful.
English - Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 98
فَلَوْلَا So why not كَانَتْ was قَرْيَةٌ any town ءَامَنَتْ that believed, فَنَفَعَهَآ and benefited it إِيمَٰنُهَآ its faith, إِلَّا except قَوْمَ the people يُونُسَ (of) Yunus? لَمَّآ When ءَامَنُوا۟ they believed, كَشَفْنَا We removed عَنْهُمْ from them عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْخِزْىِ (of) the disgrace فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا of the world وَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ and We granted them enjoyment إِلَىٰ for حِينٍ a time.
English - Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 99
وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ (had) willed رَبُّكَ your Lord لَءَامَنَ surely, (would) have believed مَن who فِى (are) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth كُلُّهُمْ all of them جَمِيعًا together. أَفَأَنتَ Then, will you تُكْرِهُ compel ٱلنَّاسَ the mankind حَتَّىٰ until يَكُونُوا۟ they become مُؤْمِنِينَ believers?
English - And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 100
وَمَا And not كَانَ is لِنَفْسٍ for a soul أَن to تُؤْمِنَ believe إِلَّا except بِإِذْنِ by (the) permission ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَيَجْعَلُ And He will place ٱلرِّجْسَ the wrath عَلَى on ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يَعْقِلُونَ use reason.
English - And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 101
قُلِ Say, ٱنظُرُوا۟ "See, مَاذَا what فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth." وَمَا But not تُغْنِى will avail ٱلْءَايَٰتُ the Signs وَٱلنُّذُرُ and the warners عَن to قَوْمٍ a people لَّا (who do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe.
English - Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 102
فَهَلْ Then do يَنتَظِرُونَ they wait إِلَّا except مِثْلَ like أَيَّامِ the days ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who خَلَوْا۟ passed away مِن before them? قَبْلِهِمْ before them? قُلْ Say, فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ "Then wait إِنِّى indeed, I (am) مَعَكُم with you مِّنَ among ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ the ones who wait."
English - So do they wait except for like [what occurred in] the days of those who passed on before them? Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 103
ثُمَّ Then نُنَجِّى We will save رُسُلَنَا Our Messengers وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe. كَذَٰلِكَ Thus, حَقًّا (it is) an obligation عَلَيْنَا upon Us نُنجِ (that) We save ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
English - Then We will save our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 104
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ "O mankind! إِن If كُنتُمْ you are فِى in شَكٍّ doubt مِّن of دِينِى my religion, فَلَآ then not أَعْبُدُ I worship ٱلَّذِينَ those whom تَعْبُدُونَ you worship مِن besides Allah, دُونِ besides Allah, ٱللَّهِ besides Allah, وَلَٰكِنْ but أَعْبُدُ I worship ٱللَّهَ Allah, ٱلَّذِى the One Who يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ causes you to die. وَأُمِرْتُ And I am commanded أَنْ that أَكُونَ I be مِنَ of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers."
English - Say, [O Muhammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion – then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allah; but I worship Allah, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 105
وَأَنْ And that, أَقِمْ "Direct وَجْهَكَ your face لِلدِّينِ to the religion حَنِيفًا upright, وَلَا and (do) not تَكُونَنَّ be مِنَ of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists.
English - And [commanded], ‘Direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allah; .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 106
وَلَا And (do) not تَدْعُ invoke مِن besides Allah دُونِ besides Allah ٱللَّهِ besides Allah مَا what لَا (will) not يَنفَعُكَ benefit you وَلَا and not يَضُرُّكَ harm you. فَإِن But if فَعَلْتَ you did so فَإِنَّكَ indeed, you إِذًا then (will be) مِّنَ of ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers."
English - And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'" .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 107
وَإِن And if يَمْسَسْكَ Allah touches you ٱللَّهُ Allah touches you بِضُرٍّ with adversity فَلَا (there is) no كَاشِفَ remover لَهُۥٓ of it إِلَّا except هُوَ Him, وَإِن and if يُرِدْكَ He intends for you بِخَيْرٍ any good فَلَا then (there is) no رَآدَّ repeller لِفَضْلِهِۦ (of) His Bounty. يُصِيبُ He causes it to reach بِهِۦ He causes it to reach مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills مِنْ of عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves. وَهُوَ And He ٱلْغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful.
English - And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 108
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O mankind! ٱلنَّاسُ "O mankind! قَدْ Verily جَآءَكُمُ has come to you ٱلْحَقُّ the truth مِن from رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord. فَمَنِ So whoever ٱهْتَدَىٰ (is) guided فَإِنَّمَا then only يَهْتَدِى (he is) guided لِنَفْسِهِۦ for his soul, وَمَن and whoever ضَلَّ goes astray فَإِنَّمَا then only يَضِلُّ he strays عَلَيْهَا against it. وَمَآ And I am not أَنَا۠ And I am not عَلَيْكُم over you بِوَكِيلٍ a guardian."
English - Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager." .
हिंदी - .
Ayah 109
وَٱتَّبِعْ And follow مَا what يُوحَىٰٓ is revealed إِلَيْكَ to you وَٱصْبِرْ and be patient حَتَّىٰ until يَحْكُمَ Allah gives judgment. ٱللَّهُ Allah gives judgment. وَهُوَ And He خَيْرُ (is) the Best ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ (of) the Judges.
English - And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges. .
हिंदी - .
